  • In this paper, an inter-comparison test of lightning impulse reference measurement system between Korea and Japan is reported. At present, such a direct comparison test as the activity to sustain the traceability of the measurement system is generally proposed. Due to the inter-comparison test, ascertaining the grade of the measurement uncertainty and maintaining the level of reference system are accomplished.

  • In this paper, a new control strategy is presented that combines sliding mode control theory with a neural network. Sliding mode control theory requires the complete knowledge of the dynamics of the controlled system. However, in practice, one often bas only a small number of state measurements. This could be a serious limitation on the practical usefulness of sliding mode control theory. A multilayer neural network is employed to solve this kind of problem. The neural network serves as a compensator without a prior knowledge about the system. The proposed control algorithm is applied to a class of uncertain nonlinear system. The robustness against parameter uncertainty, nonlinearity and external disturbances, and the effectiveness is verified by the simulation results.

Development of the automatic calibration system for industrial resistance thermometers at low temperatures (산업용 저항 온도계의 저온 자동 비교 교정 시스템 개발)

  • A system is designed and fabricated for the automatic low temperature calibration by comparison of industrial resistance thermometers. The cryostat is suitable for the calibration of four capsule type thermometers and four long stem thermometers. By the automatic temperature control of the cryostat, we could calibrate thermometers from $-200^{\circ}C$ to $0^{\circ}C$ for ${\sim}15$ hours by one fill of liquid nitrogen in the test run of the system. The uncertainty of the calibration for industrial platinum resistance thermometers using the automatic system is about 30mK with a 95.% confidence interval.

  • The backdrivable servovalve is a desirable component for force and interaction control of hydraulic actuation systems because it provides direct force generation mechanical impedance reduction by its own inherent backdrivability. However, high parametric uncertainty and friction effects inside the hydraulic actuation system significantly degrade its advantage. To solve this problem, this letter presents a disturbance-adaptive robust internal-loop compensator (DA-RIC) to generate ideal interactive control performance from the backdrivable-servovalve-based system. The proposed control combines a robust internal-loop compensator structure (RIC) with an explicit disturbance estimator designed for asymptotic disturbance tracking, such that the controlled system provide stable and ideal dynamic behavior for impedance control, while completely compensating the disturbance effects. With the aid of a backdrivable servovalve, we show that the proposed control structure can be implemented based on a simplified nominal model, and the controller enables implementation without accurate knowledge of the target system parameters and disturbances. The performance and properties of the proposed controller are verified by simulation and experiments.

  • In this paper, an intelligent force control technique is applied to an autonomous helicopter. Although most research on the autonomous helicopter system is about navigation and control, force control of an autonomous helicopter system is quite new and not presented yet. After controlling the position of the helicopter by the LQR method, force control is applied. The adaptive impedance force control algorithm is introduced and tested to regulate the desired force under unknown location and stiffness of the environment. To compensate for uncertainty from outer disturbance, a neural network is added to form an intelligent force control framework. Simulation studies show that the proposed force control algorithm works well.

  • The existing approaches to ensuring the banking security of the state do not take into account the peculiarities of the banking system in the rapid development of the information economy (increasing uncertainty, imbalance and nonlinearity of processes in the banking system under the influence of innovation, institutions, information asymmetry, etc.). A methodological approach to determining the synergetic effect in the implementation of the regulatory influence of the state on the development of innovation processes related to informatization in the banking system, based on the use of differential equations and modelling the sensitivity of innovation processes related to informatization in the banking system, to the regulatory influence of the state to prevent the deployment of risks and threats to economic security of the state in this area has been suggested in the present article.

  • In heavy industries forces which are exceeding the range of available force standard machines have to be measured. Force measuring system using build-up procedure can be applied to measure large forces efficiently. In this study strain gage type force sensors are designed and fabricated, and the build-up force measuring system with 4.5 MN capacity using the developed force sensors is 0.03% or less over the range of 600 kN .approx. 1.5 MN and the force measuring system is less than 0.06% or less over the range of 500 kN .approx. 4.5 MN.

  • This paper discusses Robust $H{\infty}$ control problems for networked control systems (NCSs) with time delays and subject to norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. Based on a new discrete-time model, two approaches of robust controller design are proposed. A numerical example and experimental verification with an NCS test bed are given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed design methodologies.

  • This paper proposes a robust H$_{\infty}$ tracking filter to improve the unacceptable target tracking performance for systems with parameter uncertainties. Also, we use here the input estimation approach to account for the possibility of maneuver. Simulation results show that the robust H$_{\infty}$ tracking filter which is proposed here to solve the systems with all system parameter uncertainties, has a good tracking performance for a maneuvering target tracking problem.m.

  • 저압 차단기의 단락성능평가를 위한 단락시험설비의 측정시스템은 고전압, 대전류를 안전하고 정밀하게 측정하기 위해 여러 가지 측정기들로 시스템으로 구성되어 있으며, 시험 신뢰도의 확보를 위해 측정불확도에 대한 평가가 이루어져야 한다. 본 논문에서는 표준 Shunt와 비교시험을 통하여 전류 측정 시스템의 측정불확도를 추정하고자 한다.
