내장형 실시간 시스템의 성능 개선을 위한 리엔지니어링 기법 (Performance Reengineering of Embedded Real-Time Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 내장형 실시간 시스템의 성능 개선을 위한 리엔지니어링(performance re-engineering) 기법을 제시한다. 시스템 리엔지니어링은 구현이 완료된 시스템에서 새로운 성능 요구사항을 만족시키기 위한 일련의 작업이라 할 수 있다. 일반적으로 실시간 시스템의 성능은 실시간 처리량(real-time throughput)과 입출력 시간 지연(input-to-output latency) 등으로 기술할 수 있으며 새로운 성능 요구사항은 이와 같은 파라미터를 통해 기술된다. 본 연구의 리엔지니어링 기법은 두 단계로 구성된다. 첫째, 시스템을 프로세스 네트워크의 형태로 파악한 후, 프로세스의 수행시간을 분석하여 병목(bottleneck)이 되는 프로세스를 찾아낸다. 둘째, 병목 프로세스의 수행시간을 개선한 수 있도록 프로세싱 요소의 성능비례계수(performance scaling factor)를 구한다. 성능비례계수는 성능 개선을 비율로 나타낸 것으로서 리엔지니어링 비용을 최소화하도록 그 값을 구한다. 따라서 유도된 성능비례계수에 따라 하드웨어 장치를 업그레이드하면 하드웨어 비용을 최적화할 수 있다. 이러한 방법을 사용하면 소프트웨어를 수정할 필요가 없으며, 리엔지니어링 비용 및 시간을 단축할 수 있다.

태양열과 재열기를 사용한 VI heat pump의 성능 특성에 관한 연구 (Heating Performance Characteristics of Heat Pump with VI cycle using Re-Heater and Solar-Assisted)

  • In this study, heating performance of the air-cooled heat pump with vapor-injection (VI) cycles, re-heater and solar heat storage tank was investigated experimentally. Devices used in the experiment were comprised of a VI compressor, re-heater, economizer, variable evaporator, flat-plate solar collector for hot water, thermal storage tank, etc. As working fluid, refrigerant R410A for heat pump and propylene glycol (PG) for solar collector were used. In this experiment, heating performance was compared by three cycles, A, B and C. In case of Cycle B, heat exchange was conducted between VI suction refrigerant and inlet refrigerant of condenser by re-heater (Re-heater in Fig. 3, No. 3) (Cycle B), and Cycle A was not use re-heater on the same operating conditions. In case of Cycle C, outlet refrigerant from evaporator go to thermal storage tank for getting a thermal energy from solar thermal storage tank while re-heater also used. As a result, Cycle C reached the target temperature of water in a shorter time than Cycle B and Cycle A. In addition, it was founded that, as for the coefficient of heating performance($COP_h$), the performance in Cycle C was improved by 13.6% higher than the performance of Cycle B shown the average $COP_h$ of 3.0 and by 18.9% higher than the performance of Cycle A shown the average $COP_h$ of 2.86. From this results, It was confirmed that the performance of heat pump system with refrigerant re-heater and VI cycle can be improved by applying solar thermal energy as an auxiliary heat source.

Design of BOG re-liquefaction system of 20,000 m3 liquid hydrogen carrier

  • This paper presents the design of a re-liquefaction system as a BOG (boil-off gas) handling process in liquid hydrogen transport vessels. The total capacity of the re-liquefaction system was assumed to be 3 ton/day, with a BOR (boil-off rate) of 0.2 %/day inside the cargo. The re-liquefaction cycle was devised using the He-Brayton Cycle, incorporating considerations of BOG capacity and operational stability. The primary components of the system, such as compressors, expanders, and heat exchangers, were selected to meet domestically available specifications. Case studies were conducted based on the specifications of the components to determine the optimal design parameters for the re-liquefaction system. This encompassed variables such as helium mass flow rate, the number of compressors, compressor inlet pressure and compression ratio, as well as the quantity and composition of expanders. Additionally, an analysis of exergy destruction and exergy efficiency was carried out for the components within the system. Remarkably, while previous design studies of BOG re-liquefaction systems for liquid hydrogen vessels were confined to theoretical and analytical realms, this research distinguishes itself by accounting for practical implementation through equipment and system design.

  • This paper presents the programmable logic controller (PLC) networking development for communication with the mobile phone. The proposed technique is suitable for remote sensing control systems, which can display the operation status and monitoring fault diagnosis of a system. The system operation is based on the use of personal computer (PC) to logically analyze data from PLC, and existing internet protocol for sending information messages to mobile phones.

  • 소프트웨어 재 사용 기법은 기존의 시스템을 개발하는데 사용된 다양한 형태의 정보와 지식을 다른 시스템 개발에 재적용함으로써 생산성을 향상할 수 있고 유지보 수를 쉽게 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 C 및 C++로 개발된 원시 코드를 대상으로 역공 학을 이용하여 재사용 가능한 부품을 수출하고 이 부품을 저장 및 검색, 합성하여 사 용할 수 있는 재사용 시스템 CSORUS(C and C++ SOurce ReUse System)를 설계 및 구현 하였다. 역공학을 이용하여 재사용 부품을 구축할 경우 실무 분야에서 적용되어 검증 받은 신뢰도가 높은 부품이므로 재사용 부품의 신뢰도와 새로운 시스템의 유지보수를 쉽게 할 수 있다면 장점이 있다.

Efficient Proxy Re-encryption Scheme for E-Voting System

  • With the development of information and communication technologies, especially wireless networks and cell phones, the e-voting system becomes popular as its cost-effectiveness, swiftness, scalability, and ecological sustainability. However, the current e-voting schemes are faced with the problem of privacy leakage and further cause worse vote-buying and voter-coercion problems. Moreover, in large-scale voting, some previous e-voting system encryption scheme with pairing operation also brings huge overhead pressure to the voting system. Thus, it is a vital problem to design a protocol that can protect voter privacy and simultaneously has high efficiency to guarantee the effective implementation of e-voting. To address these problems, our paper proposes an efficient unidirectional proxy re-encryption scheme that provides the re-encryption of vote content and the verification of users' identity. This function can be exactly applied in the e-voting system to protect the content of vote and preserve the privacy of the voter. Our proposal is proven to be CCA secure and collusion resistant. The detailed analysis also shows that our scheme achieves higher efficiency in computation cost and ciphertext size than the schemes in related fields.

Al7075-T6의 압축잔류응력 및 피로 수명에 미치는 재피닝의 효과 (Effects of Re-Peening on the Compressive Residual Stress and Fatigue Life of Al7075-T6)

  • The effects of re-peening on the compressive residual stress and fatigue life of Al7075-T6 were investigated. The compressive residual stress induced on the surface of components by shot peening is known to increase the fatigue life. However, the fatigue load relaxes the compressive residual stress of components. Re-peening is a technique to again induce the relaxed compressive residual stress and increase the total fatigue life of components. In this study, the re-peening process was applied to fatigue-loaded specimens. The compressive residual stress and fatigue life were examined for re-peened specimens with fatigue ratios of 30%, 50%, and 70%. The results showed that the compressive residual stress of the specimens was relaxed under the fatigue load. The re-peening process significantly increases the compressive residual stress and total fatigue life.

LNG 증발기체의 재액화 사이클에 대한 열역학 해석 (Thermodynamic Analysis of Re-liquefaction Cycle of LNG Boil-off Gas)

  • The LNG BOG re-liquefaction system for LNG carriers was designed based on the Claude refrigeration cycle and the thermodynamic analysis was carried out in order to find the design point of the three heat exchangers constituting the system. The thermodynamic analysis revealed that the system state could be defined by the three cold endpoint temperatures of the three-pass heat exchanger. Hence the iso-lines of the specific liquefaction work, taken as the performance indicator, were presented in terms of those three temperatures and discussed. The system was found most economical when those three temperatures approached a single temperature of $-140^{\circ}C$ and thus this system state could be taken as the design point for the heat exchangers.

  • 표면조도에 의해 발생하는 난류유동은 공학적, 물리적 분야에서 매우 중요하게 다루어지고 있다. 표면조도는 선박에서도 설계, 용접, 도장 등 각각의 단계에서 다양한 측면으로 고려되어야 할 중요한 요소이다. 본 연구는 표면조도 형상을 일반화하여 PIV기법을 적용하여 수조실험을 수행하였다. 표면조도 조건은 거칠기 형상의 간격에 대해 변화를 주었으며, 실험유속은 Re = $1.1{\times}10^4$, Re = $2.0{\times}10^4$, Re = $2.9{\times}10^4$ 에서 시간평균에 대한 난류강도를 알아보았다. 거칠기 계수 증가에 따라 표면 거칠기 형상 근처에서 발생한 난류성분에 의해 난류강도는 강하게 나타났으며, 자유흐름 영역으로 갈수록 유동 방향의 변동이 전혀 없는 흐름이 나타났다. 실험유속 조건 변화에 대한 난류강도의 편차는 크게 영향을 받지 않았다.

케이블 사장교용 내고온·내고압 유압 펌프의 설계에 관한 연구 (Study on Design of Hydraulic Pump with High Temperature and High Pressure Resistance for Cable-Stayed Bridge)

  • Hydraulic pumps are widely used in fields such as machinery manufacturing, engineering and construction. Although the research on hydraulic engineering is mature, it is still necessary to examine various performance aspects in detail for specific applications. This paper will focus on the hydraulic pump used in special construction machinery that needs high temperature and high pressure resistance. It will analyze the theoretical design, structure and thermal characteristics of the pump system using the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) method, and will measure the key tolerance parameters of the hydraulic pump to ensure the accuracy of the machining. Through this research, a good design method for the linear reciprocating type of hydraulic pump can be summarized.
