This describes the current problems of plant control system, the method and equipments to be developed for each plant based on the experimental test were carried out at field, and, lastly, the results of the study with the progress of it.

  • It is difficult to find for analysis solution of the synchronous generator exciter system. Recently, it had good performance UPS converter system using CRA method. The single converter of synchronous generator excitor system under considerations : (i) the overall system shall keep very low AC-voltage tracking error as well as no phase delay over different load condition, and (ii) the digital controller shall be employed at a fixed sampling. It is shown that the synchronous exciter system can be achieved by the proposed controller using Characteristic Ratio Assignment.

  • One of the problems in developing a collaborative recommendation system is the scalability. To alleviate the scalability problem efficiently, enhancing the performance of the recommendation system, we propose a new recommendation system using feature selection. In our experiments, the proposed system using about a third of all features shows the comparable performances when compared with using all features in light of precision, recall and number of computations, as the number of users and products increases.

  • A small-scale thermoelectric cooling system was built in an effort to enhance the performance of the refrigeration system by utilizing the water-cooled jacket which was attached on the hot side of the thermoelectric module. Considered design parameters for the water-cooled jacket included the geometry of the flow passage inside the jacket and the flow rate of cooling water. The higher flow rate of cooling water in the jacket resulted in a better performance of the refrigeration system. The introduction of geometrical complexity of the cooling water flow passage to the cooling jacket also showed significant improvement on the performance of the thermoelectric refrigeration system such as the cooling capacity and the COP of the refrigeration system.

  • It is necessary to consider the stability, economic environmental-friendly problems by the development of the road, supply of the automobile, environmental problem as designing the exhaust system. To reduce the noise and the vibration of the automobile. The need for stricter regulation limits emission and demand for lower fuel comsumption. According to motor vehicle company develop variable type muffler, dual muffler and active intelligence exhaust system unit. Improvement in engine performance and fuel consumption for demand information of pressure fraction and heat characteristics. To be able to determine these factor for we experiment on each case of exhaust system unit. In this study, in order to establish the optimized conditions design factors which are taking many performance as the variable valve, it shows how the standard performance and the additional element of the exhaust system effects on the engine performance.

  • The recent development of modern weapon system by SOS (System of System) has required users to have more exact decision making. It is possible to achieve the control of complex weapon system more efficiently and effectively by increasing usability. Accordingly, many studies on graphical display have been conducted for several years in the field of HCI (Human Computer Interaction) and GUI (Graphic User Interface), starting from its design stage. Therefore, this paper focuses on evaluating the system GUI usability and analyzing several important points based on performance model, which is a tool for the evaluation and the improvement of service quality. Performance Model, the main focus of this study, reflects user expectations (which is defined as user importance in this paper). The study consists of four steps. First, 34 checklists are drawn from the existing studies related to GUI usability evaluation by using a heuristic method, and then the checklists are matched with 11 weapon system design factors. Next, the study evaluates the importance of GUI element and the usability of weapon system "A" with the checklists twice respectively. Third, the performance of user importance ($P_i$) and the performance of usability ($P_u$) are calculated by modifying a numerical formula for normalization in this step. Finally, the study compares the approach it takes and the existing usability evaluation method, demonstrating that there is a significant difference between the two methods as a result. In addition, 4 improvement factors are suggested for weapon system "A" as "Shortcut" and "Description of Abbreviation," and so on. Although it is necessary to conduct more studies for higher reliability and validity of the results, this study is meaningful considering it takes a new point of view.

  • In recent years, RFID is widely used in Industrial applications including factory, material flow, logistics and defense areas. In this paper, we developed a RFID baseband system with ASK modulation and convolutional channel code. A commercial ASK RF module is used and its frequency range in $350\sim351MHz$ and power is 10mW and the convolution code is constraint length k=3 and rate R=1/2. The performance is measured by frame error rate and the convolutional code is very useful in performance improvement and, also we implemented the binary search algorithm as anti-collision method and we show the wave shapes whit collision occurrence. This RFID system is designed by FPGA therefore it produces result of speed-up and improvement of reliability.
