The development of flexible transparent electrode has been paid attention for flexible electronics. In this study, we have developed transparent electrode based on silver nanowires with improved electrical property and stability through ion-beam treatment. The energetic particles of ion-beam could sinter junctions of each silver nanowires and etch out polyvinylpyrollidone(PVP) coated on silver nanowires. The sheet resistance of silver nanowire transparent electrode was reduced by 74%, and the resistance uniformity was increased about 3 times after exposure of ion beam. Moreover, the stability at $85^{\circ}C$ of temperature and 85% of relative humidity could be also improved.
For the increase the charge stability of teflon electrets for used at uncomfortable industrial circumstances with high temperature or humidity, We made an investigation into double layer effect of teflon electrets. Teflon AF film was spincoated on FEP film and then the charge storage property of AF/FEP dual film was investigated to be compared with FEP film. It was found that the AF/FEP dual film has higher surface potential than FEP film on the repeated charging and annealing process. It seems that AF/FEP dual film has higher thermal stability than FEP film through TSC measurement. If the investigations of the double layer effect of Teflon film carried out more closely with it's molecular structures and surface conditions, it may be effectively improved the stability of charge storage.
The slope stability analysis is usually done using the methods of calculation to rupture. The problem lies in determining the critical failure surface and the corresponding factor of safety (FOS). To evaluate the slope stability by a method of limit equilibrium, there are linear and nonlinear methods. The linear methods are direct methods of calculation of FOS but nonlinear methods require an iterative process. The nonlinear simplified Bishop method's is popular because it can quickly calculate FOS for different slopes. This paper concerns the use of inverse analysis by genetic algorithm (GA) to find out the factor of safety for the slopes using the Bishop simplified method. The analysis is formulated to solve the nonlinear equilibrium equation and find the critical failure surface and the corresponding safety factor. The results obtained by this approach compared with those available in literature illustrate the effectiveness of this inverse method.
This study was retentive material into the porosities of the permeable asphalt concrete, we developed retentive asphalt concrete which can absorb water in rain and decrease the temperature of the pavement through the vaporization of rainwater. The experimental results showed that the maximum stability appeared in the 5.0% types of both AP-5 and SBS PMA. Between these two types, the maximum stability of the asphalt with AP-5 was 480kg, which means it met the stability requirement for walkways but didn't meet the requirement for roadways. On the other hand, the maximum stability of the asphalt concrete with SBS PMA was 676kg, which was 176 kg higher than the requirement for roadways(500kg) and satisfy the requirement of KS. The retentive material was 56.4% in the type of the retentive material with 30% diatomaceous earth, 66.6% in 50% type, 87.5% in 70% type. In the aspect of thermal properties, the retentive asphalt concrete can lower the surface temperature by about 15 degrees lower than the normal asphalt concrete can. This effect could be made by the evaporation cooling effect and the surface albedo. It should be noted that the evaporation cooling effect cools it by about 10 degrees and the surface albedo by about 5 degrees.
The emlsifying properties of small red bean protein isoates were evaluated through their emulsion capacity and stability of the resulting emulsions. The influence of pH, Sodium Chloride and heat treatment on the efficiency of small red bean protein isolates as emulsifying agents was studied. The surface hydrophobicity (So) of small red bean protein islates also examined. The results were obtained as follows; 1. The emusion capacity of small red bean protein isolates was high at pH 11, low at pH 3 and decreased by heat treament. With addition of NaCl, emulsion capacity decreased steadily and showed lowest value when 0.2M NaCl was added. 2. The emulsion stability at pH 4.5 and heat treatment over $60^{\circ}C$ decreased emulsion stability at pH 4.5. When NaCl was added, emulsion stability was generally increased. 3. The surface hydrophobicity of small red bean protein isolates showed the highest value at pH 3 and lowest at pH 11 and increased as the heating temperature increased When 0.2 M NaCl was added, surface hydrophobicity also increased at pH 4.5.
The surface of magnetite ($Fe_{3}O_{4}$) nanoparticles prepared by coprecipitation method was modified by carboxylic acid group of poly(3-thiophenacetic acid (3TA)) and meso-2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA). Then the lysozyme protein was immobilized on the carboxylic acid group of the modification of the magnetite nanoparticles. The magnetite nanoparticles are spherical and the particle size is approximately 10 nm. We measured quantitative dispersion state by dispersion stability analyzer for each $Fe_{3}O_{4}$ nanoparticles with and without surface modification. The concentration of lysozyme on the modified magnetite nanoparticles was also investigated by a UV-Vis spectrometer and compared to that of magnetite nanoparticles without surface modification. The functionalized magnetite particles had higher enzymatic capacity and dispersion stability than non-functionalized magnetite nanoparticles.
Shallow tunnels are vulnerable to earthquakes, and shallow ground is usually inhomogeneous. Based on the limit equilibrium method and variational principle, a solution for the seismic collapse mechanism of shallow tunnel in inhomogeneous ground is presented. And the finite difference method is employed to compare with the analytical solution. It shows that the analytical results are conservative when the horizontal and vertical stresses equal the static earth pressure and zero at vault section, respectively. The safety factor of shallow tunnel changes greatly during an earthquake. Hence, the cyclic loading characteristics should be considered to evaluate tunnel stability. And the curve sliding surface agrees with the numerical simulation and previous studies. To save time and ensure accuracy, the curve sliding surface with 2 undetermined constants is a good choice to analyze shallow tunnel stability. Parameter analysis demonstrates that the horizontal semiaxis, acceleration, ground cohesion and homogeneity affect tunnel stability greatly, and the horizontal semiaxis, vertical semiaxis, tunnel depth and ground homogeneity have obvious influence on tunnel sliding surface. It concludes that the most applicable approaches to enhance tunnel stability are reducing the horizontal semiaxis, strengthening cohesion and setting the tunnel into good ground.

A location determining method is proposed for critical sliding surface in the stability analysis of the filling materials in karst caves. First, a preliminary location of the sliding surface is determined based on simulation results which includes displacement contour and plastic zone. The sliding surface will locate on the bottom contact interface when the friction angle is relative small. However, a weakened contact interface always becomes the critical sliding surface no matter what the friction angle is. Then when the friction angle becomes larger, the critical sliding surface inside fillings can be determined by a parabola, the coefficient of which increases linearly with the friction angle under the same cohesion. Finally, the critical sliding surface approximately remains unchanged with friction angle. The influence of cohesion is similar to that of friction angle. Although affected by shape, size or position of the karst cave, the critical sliding surface mainly depends on both friction angle and cohesion. Thus, this method is always useful in determining the critical sliding surface.
Fibrous supercapacitors (FSs), owing to their high power density, good safety characteristic, and high flexibility, have recently been in the spotlight as energy storage devices for wearable electronics. However, despite these advantages, FCs face many challenges related to their active material of carbon fiber (CF). CF has low surface area and poor wettability between electrode and electrolyte, which result in low capacitance and poor long-term stability at high current densities. To overcome these limits, fibrous supercapacitors made using surface-activated CF (FS-SACF) are here suggested; these materials have improved specific surface area and better wettability, obtained by introducing porous structure and oxygen-containing functional groups on the CF surface, respectively, through surface engineering. The FS-SACF shows an improved ion diffusion coefficient and better electrochemical performance, including high specific capacity of 223.6 mF cm-2 at current density of 10 ㎂ cm-2, high-rate performance of 171.2 mF cm-2 at current density of 50.0 ㎂ cm-2, and remarkable, ultrafast cycling stability (96.2 % after 1,000 cycles at current density of 250.0 ㎂ cm-2). The excellent electrochemical performance is definitely due to the effects of surface functionalization on CF, leading to improved specific surface area and superior ion diffusion capability.

This paper studies on dynamic and stability behavior of a clamped-elastically restrained nanobeam under the action of a nonconservative force with an emphasis on the influence of surface properties on divergence and flutter instability. Using the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory incorporating surface effects, a governing equation for a clamped-elastically restrained nanobeam is derived according to Hamilton's principle. The characteristic equation is obtained explicitly and the force-frequency interaction curves are displayed to show the influence of the surface effects, spring stiffness of the elastic restraint end on critical loads including divergence and flutter loads. Divergence and flutter instability transition is analyzed. Euler buckling and stability of Beck's column are some special cases of the present at macroscale.
