IT outsourcing has become a critical component of organizations, but improper expectations, ambiguous contracts and unclear goals frequently cause the failure of IT outsourcing. Especially we have to be concerned about the uncareful management of customer-supplier relationships based on a psychological contract perspective. This study focuses on the obligations of contractual parties for IT outsourcing which influence the outsourcing relationship(OR) and the successful performance of IT outsourcing(OP). The supplier obligations consist of the achievable infrastructure(S1) and capability(S2), and the customer obligations is composed of the acceptable environment(C1) and acceptability(C2) for IT outsourcing. This paper shows that the S1, S2, and C2 have an effect on the OR, the OR on the OP, and the S2 also on the OP directly. The four components of customer-supplier obligations are mutually related to each other. What is more, we must notice that the S2 has strong connections with the C2.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of employment type(direct employment, dispatch and service supplier) on risk factor exposure, health and satisfaction. The data of the 4th wave of Korean Working Conditions Survey (KWCS) conducted by Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) in South Korea was used. Business support service industry and manufacturing industry were selected as appropriate industries for analysis. In the final analysis, 5,865 in the manufacturing industry and 1,361 in the service support industry were included. Various variables related risk, safety, satisfaction and health such as risk factor exposure, MSDs exposure, work environment satisfaction, injury probability, dangerous work, workload, physical health problem, perceived health, positive emotions, stress, participation for decision making and experience of accident/disease were analyzed and company size and age was controled. An ANCOVA was conducted to identify significant mean differences of risk, safety, satisfaction and health related variables among direct employed workers, dispatch and service supplier workers. The results showed that all the variables except stress showed a significant difference depending on employment type in the service supply industry. In the manufacturing industry, there were significant difference in the risk factor exposure, MSDs exposure, work environment satisfaction, workload, physical health problem, perceived health, and participation depending on employment type. These results indicated that the risks are unloaded to subcontract and outsourcing company workers. Based on these results, the implications of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.
Supplier relationship management (SRM) is an important contributor to a company's efficiency and credibility. Although several ways are used to provide SRM functionality, these are often not easily integrated with existing procurement systems. We designed and implemented a practical SRM system called BestChoice SRM and present its design and architecture. It has the core functionality of SRM with the simple adaptability of BestChoice which is a decision support system for evaluating suppliers with the aid of visualized analysis It allows seamless integration with existing systems and permits flexible strategy changes as market conditions shift. The key to this flexibility is template-based segmentation. Ease of integration was demonstrated through the installation of BestChoice SRM at a major Korean commercial e-procurement agency.

Since 2002, Korea Government has introduced Green Standard for Energy and Environmental Design Certification for reducing GHG emission in building area. However, total number of G-SEED Certification is only around 1% of total number of approved apartment buildings despite the various boosting policies. In this situation, most boosting policies and policy improvement researches are leaning toward the supplier's aspect. However, comprehensive relation and dynamics between consumer and supplier has to be considered because housing market is operated by market participants' mutual interaction. Therefore, this research presents system dynamics models based on decision making analysis of consumer and supplier in G-SEED Certification apartment building market. Then, this research evaluate the validity of boosting policies using the model. The proposed analysis can assist government to make next G-SEED Certification boosting policy.
The purposes of this study were to assess th importance and performance of food suppliers and to explore the ways to improve the school foodservice purchasing management. The questionnaire regarding purchasing was composed of two parts. The part one consisted of questions on general characteristics of dieticians and school foodservice operations, and the part two was composed of questions on the importance & performance of food suppliers. Completed questionnaires were received from 286 dieticians of elementary school foodservice operations in Seoul. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SPSS/win for descriptive and t-test. In dieticians' demographic data, 36.6% were over 30 years old, 32.4% were $28{\sim}29$ years of age and 31.0% were below 27years old. Most of the respondents(68.3%) had overall working experiences less than 58 months and almost half of them(56.3%) were married. The school foodservice operations which employed a chef were 50.3%. The food suppliers' attributes that were recognized by the dieticians with high value of mean importance scores were: food quality, maintenance of food quality, accuracy in filling orders, quality of delivery facilities, on time delivery and packaging. Average mean score for importance was 4.33('important') out of 5 and mean score for performance was 3.50('so-so') out of 5. By IPA techniques, the attributes that deserve higher attention were those that ranked high in importance and low in performance(Quadrant A). The coordinates in Quadrant A were geographical location of supplier, maintenance of food quality, provision of information on cost variation and salesman's knowledge.

Faced with the recent global economic recession, academics looked to the industrial B2B and B2C markets as potential new growth engines. In the B2B market, focusing on the relationship with customers, the relationship benefits are important, and institutional factors will affect the relationship and relationship values with customers. In this study, the relationship values between South Korea and Taiwan are compared by considering their national characteristics. By applying a mixed research method based on sequential exploratory design, 6 relationship values (supplier knowhow, service support, time to market, delivery performance, personal interaction, and product quality) are extracted. In particular, South Korea and Taiwan give priority to supplier knowhow and service support, respectively. Our research findings have both theoretical and practical implications for other emerging countries, as well as developed countries.
The purposes of the study were to examine food purchasing management practices and to assess dietitians' awareness on food quality standards, use of food purchasing guidelines(food quality guidelines, supplier selection criteria), and organizational collaboration related to purchasing at school food service. A total of 400 dietitians working at elementary schools in Kyunggi Province were surveyed and 247 responses were returned. Excluding responses with significant missing data, 240 responses(60%) were used for data analysis. Compared to the previous reports, competitive bidding and shorter contract periods were preferred for purchasing food supplies. A dietitian, school staff, and food service staff participated in receiving and inspection together at 58.4% of the schools. An average score of the dietitians' awareness on the food quality standards was 3.28 based on a 5-point scale(1:strongly disagree, 5:strongly agree). Their awareness scores for the quality standards related to the genetically modified organism foods, organic foods, and pesticide residues were the lowest. The awareness scores increased significantly with their age(p<.001). In general, the food purchasing guidelines were used well at the schools ; the usage levels of the food quality guidelines and supplier selection criteria were significantly different by length of operation(p<.05) and dietitians' age(p<.05), respectively. The dietitians' perception score of the organizational collaboration related to purchasing was rated 3.46 and differed significantly by dietitians' educational background(p<.05). For improving food procurement management, standardized food quality and purchasing criteria need to be developed. As the demands on high quality food supplies increase for school food service, the dietitians should improve their knowledges on the food quality standards and implement effective and creative purchasing methods.

This paper considers that advanced planning and scheduling (APS) in manufacturing and the efficient purchasing where each customer order has its due date and multi-suppliers exit We present a Make-ToOrder Supply Chan (MTOSC) model of efficient purchasing process from multi-suppliers and APS with outsourcing in a supply chain, which requires the absolute due date and minimized total cost. Our research has included two states. One is for efficient purchasing from suppliers: (a) selection of suppliers for required parts; (b) optimum part leadtime of selected suppliers. Supplier selection process has received considerable attention in the businessmanagement literature. Determining suitable suppliers in the supply chain has become a key strategic consideration. However, the nature of these decisions usually is complex and unstructured. These influence factors can be divided into quantitative and qualitative factors. In the first level, linguistic values are used to assess the ratings for the qualitative factors such as profitability, relationship closeness and quality. In the second level a MTOSC model determines the solutions (supplier selection and order quantity) by considering quantitative factors such as part unit price, supplier's lead-time, and storage cost, etc. The other is for APS: (a) selection of the best machine for each operation; (b) deciding sequence of operations; (c) picking out the operations to be outsourcing; and (d) minimizing makespan under the due date of each customer's order. To solve the model, a genetic algorithm (GA)-based heuristic approach is developed. From the numerical experiments, GAbased approach could efficiently solve the proposed model, and show the best process plan and schedule for all customers' orders.
With the growing interest in pet dogs and pet dog's wear I used this study to compare and analyze the pattern used by each supplier and developed a new pattern for pet dogs' wear which is appropriate for pet dogs' body lines and movement. Test subjects were 91 pet dogs in Busan and after comparing 3 patterns from different suppliers, I developed the pattern reflecting pet dogs' body shapes and movement. Results are as follows; 1) As a result of analyzing measurements, it was found that pet dogs motion in walking on four feet, is different from that of people on two feet. For center measurements, their waist to bust length is longer than their waist to back length. The result of analysis shows that bust circumference impacts most other measurement results and it seems that better results are achieved if the bust line is taken into consideration when measuring bust back length, bust front length, neck base circumference, front leg arc, the length between lateral shoulder etc. 2) As a result of comparing suppliers' patterns, it was discovered that each supplier has different sizes for the same patterns and those sizes are not standardized across the board. Even if the same size of pattern was actually used in the production of pet dogs' wear by the individual companies, there were many variations in size for each item. 3) To develop a more standard pattern of pet dogs' wear, I collected and analyzed 3 patterns from each supplier and designed a new pattern, revising it three times. After test-wearing of the experimental pattern and the studied patterns, and comparing and analyzing the results, the studied pattern had similarly better estimation than the experimental one.
