The study is to analyze the contents of Environmental Impact Statement(EIS) and supplementary EIS prepared from 1981 to 1992. The contents are project area, project cost, EIS volume, project term, assessment term, EIS preparation cost, land use plan, and kinds of predictive model concerning air quality, water quality, noise and vibration etc. by project type. Data are collected with EIS analysis checklist and analyzed by $SPSS/PC^+$.

Modern telecommunications are increasingly demanding the addition of complex switching features to switching system software. These improvements also should satisfy customer demands for quick provisioning of new service features. But whenever we have developed the switching system in various types, we met problems that are lack of system engineers and short developments terms. We need new guidelines of software design to meet the demands and overcome our problems. So we propose new software platform, scenario driven call control engine (SDCCE) for ATM switching system software and implement an effective call control software using scenarios for ATM Switching System. A scenario is a set of procedures and supplementary scenarios written in data structure and gives benefits to easy adapt new or modified function by adding a scenario. The goal of SDCCE is to increase reusability and readability of software. Especially, it gives a good software extensibility and maintainability. And when we developed ptmp call processing control software, we could get high productivity by reusing scenarios and procedures of ptp call processing control software. We applied the scenario driven call control software to ATM switching system.

This study describes the beginning and further development of a collection web-based materials for an efficient approach to culinary practice education. A database was created using a five-step process of analysis, design, development, operation and evaluation. The menu for the web-based culinary practice educational materials included cooking basics, the real status of cooking, cooking related knowledge, performance evaluation, a data room and a bulletin board. As at 30 July, 2010, the datadase of educational materials, contained a total of 571 items. These comprised 139 cooking pictures, 33 recipes, 22 cooking videos, 74 cooking animations, 57 collections of basic knowledge, 14 evaluation reports, 21 supplementary textbooks, and 211 sets of other related information. The webbased materials are adequate for culinary education purposes, and their use is expected to be very highly valued.

Submillimetre and millimetre-wave surveys with Herschel and the South Pole Telescope have revolutionised the discovery of strong gravitational lenses. Their follow-ups have been greatly facilitated by the multi-wavelength supplementary data in the survey fields. The forthcoming Euclid optical/near-infrared space telescope will also detect strong gravitational lenses in large numbers, and orbital constraints are likely to require placing its deep survey at the North Ecliptic Pole (the natural deep field for a wide class of ground-based and space-based observatories including AKARI, JWST and SPICA). In this paper I review the current status of the multi-wavelength survey coverage in the NEP, and discuss the prospects for the detection of strong gravitational lenses in forthcoming or proposed facilities such as Euclid, FIRSPEX and SPICA.

Background and Objectives : The nasalance score measured by Nasometer is a supplementary data for the perceptually rated nasality by a trained speech pathologist. The nasalance score varies with subjects. The objective of the present study was to examine whether there are differences in nasalance scores as a function of age and sex. Materials and Method : This study used 20 normal chidren aged from 3 to 8 and 40 normal adults aged from 21 to 37(male : female= 1 : 1) as subjects. The nasalance scores were analyzed in 3 different phonetic contests(nasal, /i/ vowel,/a/ vowel) and 4 different sentence lengths(1, 2, 4, 8 syllable). Results : The children had significantly higher nasalance scores in short sentences an the adults. The female subjects had significantly higher nasalance scores in nasal sentences and in short sentences than the male subjects. Conclusion : These results may indicate that sex and age differences should be considered in the interpretation of the nasalance score in nasal sentences or in short sentences.

This paper proposes an effective approach for the part-machine grouping(PMG) based on the non-binary part-machine incidence matrix in which real manufacturing factors such as the operation sequences with multiple visits to the same machine and production volumes of parts are incorporated and each entry represents actual moves due to different operation sequences. The proposed approach adopts Fuzzy ART neural network to quickly create the Initial part families and their machine cells. A new performance measure to evaluate and compare the goodness of non-binary block diagonal solution is suggested. To enhance the poor solution due to category proliferation inherent to most artificial neural networks, a supplementary procedure reassigning parts and machines is added. To show effectiveness of the proposed approach to large-size PMG problems, a psuedo-replicated clustering procedure is designed. Experimental results with intermediate to large-size data sets show effectiveness of the proposed approach.

This study aimed to analyze the teachers' cognitions about the primary science textbooks(experiment and observation) used in elementary schools. This study surveyed 211 teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. The data were statistically analyzed by SPSS WIN 10.0. The results of this study are as follows : Most of the teachers showed positive opinions on the directions of the compilation of experiment and observation textbook. Teachers used experiment and observation textbook as summary notes, experiment reports and evaluating methods. The experiment and observation textbooks should be compiled and reorganized in order as follows : Lesson introduction, inquiry activities, and intensive and supplementary activities which are followed by space of description in experiment and observation textbook.

Oxygen saturation is an important parameter in clinical fields; fetal monitoring, apnea, emergency medicine etc. Because of monitoring patients continuously, pulse oximeter that measures oxigen saturation non-invasively is regarded attentively. But, though research about accuracy of signal extraction has been developed, it actually plays a supplementary part in hospital for not trusting the principle of measurement by clinicians. In this paper focusing on these things, first we suggested simple mathematical modelling on separating do components, ac components andnoise components in optical signal transmitted from fingertip or earlobe, and then we considered oxygen saturation computing algorithm using integral ratio of pulsating components. Last, we analyzed its effect by comparing received data.

This paper is for the supplementary studies of the theoretical treaties on the machine dynamics of the amplidyne generator under the influencies of the armature reaction. The author has already shown the time-domain expression of the dynamic relations of the machine with balanced control winding, under this operating condition. In this paper, analytical and experimental studies of a test machine are intended to supplement the theories derived in the previous work, entitled "On the dynamics and the demagnetization effect of the amplidyne generator with auxiliary feedback compensating winding". FACOM 230 digital computer is incorporated for processing of a series of experimental data. The machine dynamics are then numerically analyzed with the aid of the computer. The virtual machine responses to stepwise inputs are compared with the computer output to confirm the influence of the armature reaction effect on to the machine dynamics. dynamics.

This study used Hierarchical Linear Modeling analysis to investigate the effects of individual self-regulated cognitive strategies and public education on middle school students' academic achievement. Participants were 6389 (boys 3287, girls 3102) middle school students from the 2005 data of the Korea Education Longitudinal Study. Results were as follows : (1) there were significant differences among different schools in middle school students' academic achievement, i.e. 20% of variance in English achievement and 15% of variance in mathematics achievement were explained by school differences. (2) Students' elaboration and meta-cognitive strategy influenced academic achievement positively. (3) Predictor variables by ability grouping, supplementary class, and/or self-learning class had no significant effects on students' academic achievement.
