Using known properties of superquadratic functions we obtain a sequence of inequalities for superquadratic functions such as the Converse and the Reverse Jensen type inequalities, the Giaccardi and the Petrovic type inequalities and Hermite-Hadamard's inequalities. Especially, when the superquadratic function is convex at the same time, then we get refinements of classical known results for convex functions. Some other properties of superquadratic functions are also given.

In this paper, two different methods of proving Jensen's inequality on time scales for superquadratic functions are demonstrated. Some refinements of classical inequalities on time scales are obtained using properties of superquadratic functions and some known results for isotonic linear functionals.

We get a theorem which shows the multiple weak solutions for the bifurcation problem of the superquadratic nonlinear Hamiltonian system. We obtain this result by using the variational method, the critical point theory in terms of the $S^1$-invariant functions and the $S^1$-invariant linear subspaces.
