중첩 부호의 반복 복호를 위한 개선된 클리핑 기법 (Modified Clipping for Iterative Decoding of Superposition Coding)

  • 본 논문에서는 클리핑 설계보다 파워를 덜 잃음으로서 중첩 코딩 시스템의 반복 복호를 위한 수정 클리핑 설계를 제안한다. 중첩코딩 시스템에서 제안한 설계는 특히 저 클리핑율의 경우에서 같은 클리핑 비율로 PAPR과 시스템 성능면에서 좋은 성능을 보였다. 마지막으로 클리핑 잡음 때문에 성능이 열화하는 것을 경감시키기 위해서 [1],[2]에서 제안한 반복 방법으로 SISO 복호알고리즘과 결합된 연 보상 알고리즘을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션 결과들은 제안한 설계로 대다수의 성능 손실이 회복될수 있다는 것을 보였다.

용접잔류응력장 중에서의 Aluminum-Alloy용접재료의 피로균열성장거동 연구 (A study on the fatigue crack growth behavior of aluminum alloy weldments in welding residual stress fields)

  • The fatigue crack growth behavior in GTA butt welded joints of Al-Alloy 5052-H38 was examined using Single Edge Notched(SEN) specimens. It is well known that welding residual stress has marked influence on fatigue crack growth rate in welded structure. In the general area of fatigue crack growth in the presence of residual stress, it is noted that the correction of stress intensity factor (K) to account for residual stress is important for the determination of both stress intensity factor range(.DELTA.K) and stress ratio(R) during a loading cycle. The crack growth rate(da/dN) in welded joints were correlated with the effective stress intensity factor range(.DELTA.Keff) which was estimated by superposition of the respective stress intensity factors for the residual stress field and for the applied stress. However, redistribution of residual stress occurs during crack growth and its effect is not negligible. In this study, fatigue crack growth characteristics of the welded joints were examined by using superposition of redistributed residual stress and discussed in comparison with the results of the initial welding residual stress superposition.

상관 관계 중첩 코딩/non-SIC 비직교 다중접속의 향상된 Outage 확률에 관해 (On Improved Outage Probability of Correlated Superposition Coding/non-SIC NOMA)

  • 본 논문은 상관 관계 중첩 코딩/non-SIC 비직교 다중 접속의 향상된 outage 확률을 고찰한다. 먼저, 기존의 독립 중첩 코딩/SIC 비직교 다중 접속의 outage 확률을 고찰한다. 다음, 모의실험을 통하여, 상관 관계 중첩 코딩/non-SIC 비직교 다중 접속의 outage 확률이 독립 중첩 코딩/SIC 비직교 다중 접속의 outage 확률에 비하여 크게 향상되는 것을 입증한다. 결론으로, 이러한 향상된 outage 확률로 인하여, 상관 관계 중첩 코딩/non-SIC 비직교 다중 접속 기술은 5G 시스템의 유망한 기술이 될 수도 있다.

시간-온도 중첩이론을 적용한 아스팔트 바인더의 점소성 구성 모형 (A Viscoplastic Constitutive Model Based on Overstress Concept with Time-Temperature Superposition Principle)

  • PURPOSES: Suggestion of asphalt binder constitutive model based on time-temperature superposition principle and overstress concept in order to describe behavior of asphalt binders. METHODS: A series of temperature sweep tests and multiple stress creep and recovery(MSCR) tests are performed to verify the applicability of time-temperature superposition principle(t-Ts) and to develop viscoelastoplastic constitutive equation based on overstress concept. For the tests, temperature sweep tests at various high temperature and various frequency and MSCR test at $58^{\circ}C$, $64^{\circ}C$ $70^{\circ}C$, $76^{\circ}C$, and $82^{\circ}C$ are performed. From the temperature sweep tests, dynamic shear modulus mastercurve and time-temperature shift function are built and the shift function and MSCR at $58^{\circ}C$ are utilized to determine model coefficients of VBO model. RESULTS: It is observed that the time-temperature shift function built at low strain level of 0.1% is applicable not only to 1.0% strain level temperature sweep test but also maximum 500,00% strain level of MSCR test. As well, the modified VBO model shows perfect prediction on MSCR measured strain at the other temperatures. CONCLUSIONS: The Time-temperature superposition principle stands hold from very low strain level to very high strain level and that the modified VBO model can be applicable for various range of strain and temperature region to predict elastic, viscoelastic, and viscoplastic strain of asphalt binders.

일반 순서 통계량을 이용한 소프트웨어 신뢰확률 중첩모형에 관한 베이지안 접근에 관한 연구 (A Study on Bayesian Approach of Software Stochastic Reliability Superposition Model using General Order Statistics)

  • 소프트웨어 시스템이 복잡해지면 고장의 원인이 하나의 강도함수에 의해서만 일어나지 않고 여러 원인이 중첩되어 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 복잡한 시스템에 의한 우도함수의 계산상의 어려움 때문에 반복표본을 이용하는 깁스 샘플링 기법이 고려되었다. 관찰된 고장시점은 중첩모형으로 표현이 가능한 잠재(latent)변수들을 이용하여 깁스 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 단순모형과 중첩모형의 비교를 위해 사후베이즈 요인과 상대오차의 합을 이용하여 모형선택을 시도하였다. 수치적인 예에서 GOS 속성을 가진 Goel-Okumoto 모형과 Weibull 모형을 선택하고 NHPP의 자료는 Lewis와 Shedler[25]에 의해 제시된 Thining 알고리즘을 이용하여 발생된 자료를 이용하고 사전분포는 상대적으로 확산분포(diffuse priors)를 이용한 모수추정과 사후베이즈요인과 상대오차를 이용한 모형선택을 한 결과 단순모형들 보다 중첩모형이 좋은 형으로 간주할 수 있음을 보여 주었다.

  • For bridge-vehicle interaction analysis of cable-supported brides, the superposition method is applied based on the results of 3-dimensional free vibration analysis using General-purpose FEM Software. This study firstly performs the eigenvalue analysis for the free vertical and the torsional vibration of bridges using FEM analysis. Next the equations of motion considering interaction between bridges and vehicles/train are derived from mode superposition method. And then dynamic analysis is performed using the Newmark numericial method. Finally through the numerical examples, the dynamic responses of cable-supported bridges by this study are presented and discussed.

Impact of Correlation on Superposition Coding in NOMA for Interactive Mobile Users in 5G System: Achievable Sum Rate Perspective

  • The fifth generation (5G) mobile communication has been more commercialized worldwide. One of the promising 5G technologies is non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA). We present the achievable sum rate of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) with correlated superposition coding (SC). Then this paper investigates the impacts of correlation on the achievable sum rate of correlated SC NOMA. It is shown that the achievable sum rate of correlated SC NOMA is greater than that of standard independent SC NOMA, for the most of the values of the power allocation factor over the meaningful range of the user fairness. In result, correlated SC could be a promising scheme for NOMA.

  • The Stokes waves representing the deep sea waves are expressed as a superposition of several linear waves. To evaluate the motions of floating bodies in the deep seas, it is necessary to evaluate the motions of the bodies in the Stokes waves. The 5th-order Stokes waves are expressed as a superposition of 5 linear waves. Therefore, the motion responses of the bodies in the Stokes waves would be expressed as a superposition of the motion responses of the bodies in the each linear waves. In this research, The experimental results were compared with the numerical results in linear waves and Stokes waves.

  • This paper proposes a sensorless drive of a permanent magnet synchronous motor. In general EMF is used to calculate the current of Permanet Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM). However the current has a lag component by a time constant. So it is difficult to directly calculate a position angle. To estimate the position using the current without a lag component in this paper, the controller calculates the motor current by using a superposition principle in the equivalent circuit and then compensates lag component with a time constant of the motor. Therefore the estimated motor current without a lag compoent can be obtained and it is used to calculate the rotor position indirectly. In order to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, experimental results are shown in detail.

심해 라이저의 와류유기 진동해석 (Vortex-Induced Vibration Analysis of Deep-Sea Riser)

  • A numerical model based on the mode superposition method is used to study the vortex-induced vibration response characteristics of a deep-sea riser such as steel catenary riser (SCR). A steel catenary riser can be modeled using a flexible cable with simple supports at both ends. The natural frequency, mode shape and mode curvature of the riser are calculated and the vortex-induced vibration response of the riser is obtained using the equilibrium of the input and output power. The mode superposition method is applied to the vibrational stresses for each mode to calculate the overall riser fatigue life.
