  • 도시형성의 기본요소인 건축물은 눈에 보이는 형태만이 아니라, 그 건물의 역사, 장소성 등을 알 수 있다. 선유도공원은 물을 공급하던 정수장이었으며, 현재 서울 도심의 선유도공원 안에서 어떤 용도로 Renovaion이 되어 사용되고 있는지를 생태디자인 측면에서 고찰하였다.

  • Optically translucent Sialon ceramics was fabricated by hot pressed sintering method. The Sialon ceramics was laser textured and their tribological performance was observed. Starved lubrication method was applied on Sialon ceramics with different dimple spacing under a load of 10N and at room temperature. The material having high dimple spacing ($200{\mu}m$) shows low coefficient of friction. The material shows mild wear and therefore, wear rate of steel ball (meeting partner) was observed to measure wear rate. Different phases Sialon ceramics were analyzed by XRD patterns. Moreover, the mechanical properties of the Sialon ceramics were observed.

  • The Ultrasonic motor(USM) has many good characteristics such as high torque at low speed range, large holding torque based upon frictional force, high speed response, flexible free ferns, compactness in size, low magnetic noise and silentness in motion. Because of having low speed rotation, USM is good as an actuator of a small size direct drive (DD) manipulator. The acturators for the DD manipulators must have good controllability on the speed and torque from zero to maximum value continuously. New method was developed for speed and torque control by the phase difference control of the two-phase driving signals of the motor. Then rule adjustable compliant and dumped motion was realized on the output shaft of the motor by PD control of the output shaft angle.

  • The higher order harmonic components of magnetostriction during ac magnetization in 3% SiFe are measured as a function of the magnetizing angle respect to [001] axis using a constructed laser interferometry. The magnetostriction with magnetizing angle from [001] axis agrees ith the calculation based on domain reorientation. The relative amplitudes of odd and even harmonics respectively for magnetic induction and magnetostriction decrease with the order of harmonics, accompanying the contraction of the amplitudes. The contraction of harmonics order of magnetostriction harmonics is shown to be the even number times of that of magnetic induction.

  • 수천 개의 센서 노드들 간의 공동 작업을 기반으로 한 무선 센서 네트워크는 대규모 서식지 모니터링, 침입 탐지, 자동화된 실시간 위치 평가, 홈 어플리케이션, 과학적인 탐사 등 수많은 응용에 대한 새로운 플랫폼을 제공하고 있다. 본 논문은 수천 개의 센서노드들이 센서 필드에 전개되어 있는 경우에 센서 노드의 상태를 효율적으로 관리하기 위해 센서 노드의 위치를 탐지하기 위한 방법에 관하여 기술하였다. 기본적으로 PEGASIS 라우팅 알고리즘을 이용하여 노드들 간의 상대 거리 정보를 수집하여 센서 노드의 위치 정보를 탐지하였다.

One-pot Enzymatic Synthesis of UDP-D-glucose from UMP and Glucose-1-phosphate Using an ATP Regeneration System

  • Glucose-1-phosphate uridylyltransferase from E. coli K12 was used to convert uridine-5'-triphosphate and glucose-1-phosphate to UDP-D-glucose. The conversion was efficient and completed within 5 minutes under the employed conditions. In addition, thymidine-5'-monophosphate kinase and acetate kinase were proven to be non-specific, converting udridine-5'-monophosphate to uridine-5'-triphosphate with 55% conversion after 6 h, which was much slower than the production of TTP under the same conditions (complete conversion within one hour). Since these two reactions could proceed under the same conditions, a one-pot synthesis of UDP-D-glucose with ATP regeneration was designed from easily available starting materials, and conversion up to 40% by HPLC peak integration was achieved given a reaction time of 4 h.

  • Tetragonal 구조를 갖는 정량적 Nd$_2$/Fe$_{14}$B (~Nd$_{12}$Fe$_{82}$B$_{6}$) 화합물에서의 Nd 양보다 적은 양의 Nd를 함유하는 Nd-Fe-B 합금에서는, 일반적으로 입자크기가 큰 연자성 $\alpha$-Fe가 과다하게 존재하면서 외부에서 가해주는 자장에 대해 강자성 Nd$_2$/Fe$_{14}$B와 별개의 자기적 거동을 보여주기 때문에, 보자력이 아주 적어 실용성이 없다. 그러나 이러한 합금을 급랭응고하여 미세 결정화하거나, 비정질화한 후 적절히 열처리 해주면 a-Fe와 Nd$_2$/Fe$_{14}$B 입자가 나노화하면서 이들 사이에 상호교환작용이 일어나 등방성 상태에서도 M$_{s}$ /2 보다 큰 잔류자화와 함께 적절한 크기의 보자력도 얻을 수 있다.   • Congenital bronchoesophageal fistula is rare and usually has an incidious clinical course. We experienced a case of congenital bronchoesophageal fistula in adult. A 53 years old male patient visited our hospital for respiratory arrest following sudden dyspnea. He had experienced chronic coughing after swallowing and recurrent pneumonia since childhood. we could confirm the bronchoesophageal fistula preoperatively by barium swallow examination and performed right pneumonectomy and repair of the fistula. The postoperative course was uneventful.

  • Double-diffused metal oxide power semiconductor field effect transistors are used extensively in recent years in various circuit applications. The temperature variation of the drain current at a fixed bais shows both positive and negative resistance characteristics depending on the gate threhold voltage and gate-to source bias voltage. In this study, the decision method of the internal temperature measurement by $V_{GS}$ and $V_{DS}$ are presented.
