Venture Creation Management in the USA has been very successful since World War II. The venture creation management education has made the venture enterprises' management successful in the USA. Thus, this study compared the venture creation management education of Korea with that of the USA and provided the strategic suggestions for successful venture creation management in Korea.

Intraventricular hemorrhage long after successful encephaloduroarterio synangiosis (EDAS) is very rare. The effect of revascularization surgery for preventing hemorrhagic event of moyamoya disease remains controversial. We report a 17-year-old female with intracerebral hemorrhage and intraventricular hemorrahge 10 years after successful EDAS. Even though cerebral vessels angiography showed good collateral circulations without specific weak points, a cerebral hemorrhage could occur in patient with ischemic type of moyamoya disease long after successful indirect bypass operations. Good collateralization of cerebral angiography or magnetic resonance perfusion image after indirect bypass surgery would ensure against ischemic symptoms, not a hemorrhage. And, thus a life-time follow-up strategy might be necessary even if a good collateral circulation has been established.

Many researchers and practitioners have paid much attention to identifying some critical factors for the successful implementation of the TPS, EDP and MIS. However, not much effort have been focused on the implementation issues of DSS which is different from TPS or MIS in terms of the scope of the system, evaluation criteria, decision types served, and level of users. Because of these differences, implemention of DSS should be planned and approached from different aspects of TPS, EDP and MIS. A conceptual model includes four characteristics as independent variables and three dependent variables such as system usage, user's satisfaction, and user's attitude. This paper is to empirically prove the usefulness of the model and to identify a model for the successful implementation of DSS in Korea. It will provide a better understanding of the variables associated with the successful DSS implementation.

The process of three-dimensional (3D) printing (also known as "rapid prototyping" and "additive manufacturing") uses computer-created digital models to produce 3D objects with a desired shape by stacking materials through a layer-by-layer process. The industrial potential and feasibility of 3D printing technology were recently highlighted in President Obama's State of the Union address in 2013. Since his speech, worldwide investment in and attention toward 3D printing technology have increased explosively. In addition, a number of 3D printing technology-based start-up companies have been established and evaluated as emerging enterprises making successful business models. In this paper, successful start-up companies (domestic and overseas) based on 3D printing technology will be reviewed.

Scalp avulsion is a devastating injury. The best possible procedure is replantation. Several successful scalp replantations with anastomoses of several vessels in large defects have been reported. In this report, we present a case of replantation of a large scalp avulsion using revascularizing with only one artery and vein. Despite the initial signs of flap congestion, we could predict the survival of the replanted scalp and terminate the procedure after detecting good perfusion and washout with indocyanine green fluorescence imaging. The procedure was successful following the patient's recovery of sensory and sweating functions without complications such as flap necrosis or infection. Several important factors for successful scalp replantation with positive esthetic and functional outcomes were considered.

Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the prevalence of successful aging and factors influencing successful aging. Methods: This was a secondary analysis study. Data were analyzed from 10,462 elderly people who participated in the 2011 National Elderly Survey. According to the use of community senior facilities, participants were divided into 4 groups: those who used senior centers (group A, n=580), village senior clubs (group B, n=3,240), both of the 2 facilities (group C, n=339), and neither of the 2 facilities (group D, n=6,303). Cross-tabulation and logistic regression were performed. Results: The prevalence of successful aging was highest in group C (20.94%) and lowest in group D (10.41%). The physical & mental function and active engagement domains were highest in group C, while they were lowest in group D. The disease & risk factors domain were highest in group A, while lowest in group B. An educational level of middle-school or higher and income level in the third or higher quintile were significant factors for predicting successful aging in all groups. Conclusion: These results provide a basis for designing prevention and management programs as interventions to increase the prevalence of successful aging in Korean older adults.

Our country's bidding system had made the lowest price successful bid system in foundation before introducing eligibility review system at July, 1995, and a averaged- price successful bid system or the restrictive-lowest price successful bid system had been enforced by repletion. However, they were introduced as dumping that do not reach in direct cost level of construction cost is generalized and worry about illegal construction practices rises by the lowest price successful bid system. According as they had not been promoted construction company's technical development effort or cost reduction effort, vicious circle that advocate competition principle again and recur as the lowest price successful bid system is repeated last 50 years. Therefore, I present improvement direction that can satisfy all Global Standard and real condition of our country through foreign countries example analysis to cope with the rapidly changing building circumstances socially and economically to correspond actively to the construction industry's reorganization to reconsider domestic construction engineering's competitive power.

This study was conducted with 202 elderly people aged 65 years or older (40.6% male and 59.4% female) participating in physical activities centered on line dance and rhythmic gymnastics. To achieve the main objectives of the study, a questionnaire for mature aging attitude, depression and successful aging was used. The results are as follows. First, matured aging attitude influenced negatively on depression. Second, matured aging attitude influenced positively on successful aging. Third, depression influenced negatively on successful aging. Based on the above results, it is necessary to encourage the elderly to participate in physical activities to achieve successful aging through active interventions against depression.

Not much attention has been paid to the characteristics of successful MIS in small business in Korea. This study compares the characteristics of successful MIS with those of less successful MIS of manufacturing industry in Korea in terms of micro level, macro level, and personal level. The micro level consists of those variables relating to the system development and maintenance while the macro level consists of the environmental variables relating to the information systems. The personal level measures a personal EDP experience. A mail survey was sent to small manufacturing companies to collect the data for the hypothesis tests. And 81 usable questionnaires were returned for data analysis. This study performs the validity of the categorization of variables in terms of three levels. The results shows that this categorization is appropriate but the personal level. As the personal experiences of EDP in Korea used to come up with those of the organization, the variables in the personal level have high correlations with those in the macro level in empirical testing. As the personal level, however, is different dimension from the macro level in theoretical aspect, the level is maintained separately throughout the study. The data were analyzed with MANOVA and two group discriminant analysis. The analyses reveal that the characteristics of successful MIS are different from those of less successful MIS in terms of three levels. And the micro level is more important than the macro level to develop successful MIS. That is because the organizations have relatively few experience in dealing with information systems, they have not developed unique information systems which are adjusted to their organizational characteristics. Those findings seems to be important determinants of success for the MIS in a firm.

This study aims to understand the retirement preparation of Korean baby boom generation. For this purpose, the mediation effect of the parameter of retirement preparation was confirmed to their social participation attitudes that influenced on successful aging. The research tried to present policy alternatives. The frequency analysis, description analysis, correlation analysis, hierarchical multiful-regression analysis for the collected data were conducted with SPSS 23 program. The findings are as follows; First, social participation attitudes affect successful aging. Second, social participation affects retirement preparation. Third, retirement preparation affects successful aging. Fourth, the relationship of social participation attitudes and successful aging are influenced mediation effect of retirement preparation. Finally, discussed the future research topics.
