Unicellular cyanobacterial strains of Subsections I and II and filamentous cyanobacterial strains of Subsection III have been shown to be polyphyletic, heterocystous strains of Subsections IV and V, both of which were previously reported to be monophyletic. In this study, the small subunit ribosomal RNA (16S rRNA) sequences of 13 strains of cyanobacteria - one strain, Oscillatoria nigro-viridis PCC7112, of the Subsection III, 6 strains including genus Anabaena, Nostoc, Tolypothrix, Calothrix and Scytonema of the Subsection IV, and 6 strains including genus Hapalosiphon, Fischerella and Chlorogloeopsis of the Subsection V - were determined. The phylogenetic analysis of cyanobacteria was carried out using the 16S rRNA sequences. The results of the phylogenetic analyses of 16S rRNA sequences, based on Neighbour-joining, maximum-parsimony, and maximum-likelihood methods, indicated that the members of Subsection IV were not monophyletic but polyphyletic. In addition, the phylogenetic results strongly indicated that the genus Scytonema in Subsection IV could be a common ancestor of heterocystous cyanobacteria in Subsection IV and V. Furthermore, the phylogenetic analyses revealed that the genus Anabaena could be phylogenetically diverse and that cyanobacterial strains in Subsection IV might be polyphyletic, whereas those in Subsection V could be monophyletic, as reported before. The results for the genus Anabaena indicate that it should be reclassified.
Practically, the composite roughness coefficient, which is the equivalent roughness coefficient of a cross-section where the wall roughness is not constant along the wetted perimeter, is used to describe the flow conditions in open channels. In this study, it was conducted that the previous formulae was classified according to a weighting factor of the local resistance. The new subsection division method was also developed based on the force-balance concept in each subsection. The accuracy of the proposed method was examined and the applicability and limitation of the 13 existing formulae were analyzed by comparing the calculated with the experimental measured data from Djajadi (2009) and Knight and Macdonald (1979). It was found that Horton's method might underestimate the total conveyance of a composite channel and Lotter's method showed a good agreement between calculated and measured data. However, the proper division method, such as the proposed method based on the Z-method, is required for the application of Lotter's method.

A fuel assembly consists of five major components, i.e., a top end piece (TEP), a bottom end piece (BEP), spacer grids (SGs), guide tubes (GTs) and an instrumentation tube (IT); in addition, it also includes fuel rods (FRs). The TEP/BEP should satisfy stress intensity limits according to the conditions A and B of ASME, Section III, Division 1-Subsection NB. In a dual-cooled fuel assembly, the array and position of fuel rods are different from those in a conventional PWR fuel assembly; these changes are necessary for achieving power uprating. The flow plates of the TEP and BEP have to be modified accordingly. The pattern and shape of the flow holes were newly designed. To verify the strength compatibility, the Tresca stress limit according to the ASME code was investigated in the case of an axial load of 22.241 kN. In this paper, the stress linearization procedure for strength evaluation of a newly designed TEP is presented.
Phylogenetic studies were conducted for 42 populations of Korean viola based on matK gene and atpB-rbcL intergenic spacer region of chloroplast DNA. In the matK tree, section Chamaemelanium and Dischidium were formed as a distinct group. Five subsections of section Nomimium were paraphyletic. In atpB-rbcL intergenic spacer region analysis, two species of sect. Chamaemelanium were monophyletic, and section Dischidium was placed sister to subsection patellares clade except for V. keiskei. Five subsections of section Nomimium were also paraphyletic as matK tree. the separate data analyses were incongruent in the relationships among 42 populations, especially for the position of section Dischidium and V. keiskei. The combined analyses of two chloroplast regions showed three major clades; section Chamaemelanium and Dischidium (x=6) formed a sister to subsections Hypocarpae and Trigonocarpae (x=10) clade; subsections Bilobatae and vaginatae (x=10 or 12) formed a clade with V. keiskei; and 19 populations of subsection patellares (x=12) except for V. keiskei were recognized as an independent clade within section Nomimium. Although combined data suggest three major clades of Korean viola, the origins of each clade from outgroup were discordance with previous ITS and trnL-F data.

In this paper, the structural design and integrity evaluations for a reactor vessel of PGSFR sodium-cooled fast reactor(150MWe) are carried out in compliance with ASME BPV III, Division 5 Subsection HB. The reactor vessel is designed with a direct contact of primary sodium coolant to its inner surface and has a double vessel concept enclosing by containment vessel. To assure the structural integrity for 60 years design lifetime and elevated operating temperature of $545^{\circ}C$, which can invoke creep and creep-fatigue damage, the structural integrity evaluations are carried out in compliance with the ASME code rules. The design loads considered in this evaluations are primary loads and operation thermal cycling loads of normal heat-up and cool-down. From the evaluations, the PGSFR reactor vessel satisfies the ASME code limits but it was found that there is a little design margin of creep damage for inner surface at the region of cold pool free surface.

In this paper, a closed-loop sensorless stroke control system for a linear compressor has been designed. In order to estimate the piston position accurately, motor parameters are identified as a function of the piston position and the motor current. These parameters are stored in ROM table and used later for the accurate estimation of piston position. The identified motor parameters are approximated to the several surface functions in order to decrease memory size. They can also be divided into 2 or 4 subsections to decrease identification errors. The effect of the order of surface functions and division of subsections on identification errors and computation time is analyzed.
A structural integrity evaluation program (STEP) was developed for the high temperature reactor design evaluation according to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME B&PV), Section III, Rules for Construction of Nuclear Facility Components, Division 5, High Temperature Reactors, Subsection HB. The program computerized HBB-3200 (the design by analysis procedures for primary stress intensities in high temperature services) and Appendix T (HBB-T) (the evaluation procedures for strain, creep and fatigue in high temperature services). For evaluation, the material properties and isochronous curves presented in Section II, Part D and HBB-T were computerized for the candidate materials for high temperature reactors. The program computerized the evaluation procedures and the constants for the weldment. The program can generate stress/temperature time histories of various loads and superimpose them for creep damage evaluation. The program increases the efficiency of high temperature reactor design and eliminates human errors due to hand calculations. Comparisons that verified the evaluation results that used the STEP and the direct calculations that used the Excel confirmed that the STEP can perform complex evaluations in an efficient and reliable way. In particular, fatigue and creep damage assessment results are provided to validate the operating conditions with multiple types of cycles.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the differences between literature (Belles-letters) class in DDC 19 and literature class in KDC 3. The results of the study can be summarized as follows : 1. The section of philosophy and theory of literature in DDC was subdivided according to the properties as including subsection of theory of criticism but KDC didn't subdivide this section. 2. In DDC, the subsections of 'rhetoric in specific languages' and 'rhetoric of specific kinds of composition' in rhetoric section was established and can subdivide according to each languages and subjects. These considerations can be useful as compared with KDC. 3. In DDC, collections or criticism of several literatures in specific forms can be more subdivide according to specific aspects or features dealing with in the collections or criticism by a n.0, pplying Table 3-A when specified more than the literary form. 4. Reviewing a notational rank to be assigned in literatures of specific languages, Latin literature and Classical Greek literature to be ranked in division in DDC was established as subsection in KDC to treat them as literatures of minor languages. 5. The DDC can sometimes a n.0, pply, in literatures of all languages, the notations of Table 3 to be subdivided again as specific kinds of literary forms, but KDC subdivided literary forms as specific kinds of each forms in only Korean, Chinese, Japanese literature. 6. In DDC, even literatures of minor languages are provided with 'the period table for the specific literature' under each literature of specific languages in schedules and these period tables can be a n.0, pplied a n.0, ppropriately, but period numbers in KDC was established in only Korean, Chinese, Japanese literature. 7. The optional use of letter prefixes or special numbers such as 828.99 to distinguish literatures of countries other than the "mother country" which makes the use of period tables feasible, but the KDC can only use to distinguish without the function of dividing a period such as DDC. 8. According to a n.0, pplying Table 3 and 3-A also in literatures of specific languages(810-890), a literature of specific languages, a specific literary form in literature of specific languages and a literature or literary form of specific period, in case of a n.0, pplying 'form divisions 08-09', can subdivide again by a specific aspect or feature dealing with in the works when specified. 9. For grasping the rate of subdividing, after selecting several sample-titles in literary field, they classified by DDC and KDC and gave a definite score in accordance with analytic small subjects. According to the results, the rate of subdividing in literature class of KDC is proved as less 22.8% than DDC. than DDC.

In nuclear power plant operation and spent fuel canisters, it is necessary to provide a sound technical basis for the safety and security of long-term operation and storage respectively. Recently, the peening technology is being discussed and the technology will be adopted to ASME Section III, Division 1, Subsection NX (2019 Edition). The peening is prohibited in current edition, but it will be approved in 2019 Edition and adopted. However, Surface stress improvement techniques such as the peening is used to mitigate SCC susceptible in operating nuclear plants. Although the peening will be approved to ASME CODE, there are no performance criteria listed in the 2019 edition. The Korean International Working Group (KIWG) formed a new Task Group named "Advanced Surface Stress Improved Technology". The task group will develop a CODE CASE to address PWSCC(Primary Water Stress Corrosion Cracking) and CISCC(Chloride Induced Stress Corrosion Cracking) for new ASME Section III components. TG-ASSIT was started to make peening performance criteria for ASME Section III (new fabrication) applications. The objective of TG-ASSIT is to gain consensus among the relevant Code groups that requirements/mitigation have been met.
Molecular phylogenetic studies were conducted to evaluate interspecific relationships in 40 populations of Viola including 35 Korean taxa, four Japanese populations and one outgroup using nuclear ribosomal ITS sequences. The phylogenetic analyses were conducted using parsimony and neighbor-joining methods. Subsection Trigonocarpae of section Nomimium appeared as the most basal clade within the Korean Viola. Section Dischidium and Chamaemelanium was monophyletidbootstrap 100%) and placed between subsect. Trigonocarpae and three other subsections of sect. Nomimium. Sect. Nomimium was paraphyletic. Although each subsectional grouping was in accordance with previous infrageneric classification based on morphological characters, yet discordance remained at the series level. Two evolutionary trends observed in the ITS tree were as follows. First, subsect. Trigonocarpae(x=10) was derived from the outgroup(x=6); Second, subsects. Bilobatae and Vaginatae(x=10 or 12), and subsect. Patellares(x=12) of sect. Nomimium were originated from sects. Dischidium and Chamaemelanium(x=6). Viola albida complex including three very closely related taxa was recognized as independent group within subsect. Patellares in parsimony tree. This result suggested that they should be treated as a taxa in series Pinnatae. Phylogenetic position of a putative hybrid species, Viola woosanensis was not supported with previous morphological hypothesis.
