The aim of this study is to identify the formative feature of the Chippendale style of the 18th century and to understand the aesthetic feature of the Chippendale style applied in the modern fashion. This is significant in that new possibilities are proposed in fashion design in more holistic and multifaceted views by comparing and delving into the fashion vis-a-vis other fields in a bigger scope of the formative art. The Chippendale style furniture is a combination of various styles of different eras and regions such as Gothic and Chinese style based on the Rococo style. Today, It is regarded in fashion as a composite design of heterogeneous elements or very curvy decorative design. The Chippendale style of this kind is classified into the Rococo style, Gothic style and Chinese style. Depending on each classification, formative features including curves, asymmetry, decorativeness, geometrical feature, exoticism, compositeness and graceness were derived. In comparative studies, fashion and furniture of the Chippendale style have the similarity in formative features but there were some differences in the expressive method. This study analyzed the formative features of the Chippendale style represented in furniture and the modern fashion based on the Rococo-revival design in the modern fashion starting from 2000.

In this paper, we introduce the methodology that utilizes deep learning-based front-end to enhance underwater feature matching. Both optical camera and sonar are widely applicable sensors in underwater research, however, each sensor has its own weaknesses, such as light condition and turbidity for the optic camera, and noise for sonar. To overcome the problems, we proposed the opti-acoustic transformation method. Since feature detection in sonar image is challenging, we converted the sonar image to an optic style image. Maintaining the main contents in the sonar image, CNN-based style transfer method changed the style of the image that facilitates feature detection. Finally, we verified our result using cosine similarity comparison and feature matching against the original optic image.

Jeans fashion in contemporary fashion has various meanings and values, and the importance of it increases. The purpose of this study is to analyze the formative feature characteristics and the aesthetic values of Korean jeans fashion. Fashion photograghs from leading monthly fashion magazines from 2000 to 2005 were analyzed. The types of styles and the formative feature characteristics and the aesthetic values of Korean jeans fashion were studied. The major conclusions of the study are as follows 1. The types of Korean jeans fashion styles were western style, punk style, neo classic style and ethnic style. 2. The characteristics of Korean jeans fashion designs were the varieties in material, color, technique of expression and application. 3. The formative feature characteristics were traditionalism, sexualism, extraordinarily and exhibitionism. Korean jeans fashion has developed creative and decorative designs through various designs and styles. As the activities of the people can be increased in the future, the function and the design of jeans fashion can be developed diversely.

The culture interest regarding the new area causes an effect even in change of fashion and that result Mongol area where it is area other than Japan, China and India and it is having compromised beauty raised it's head. Mongol is in Noin-ula area which is a it's former self of the Hun's. There is to a textile pattern which was used not only the textile pattern which has the feature of Scythian system but also the textile pattern which has the feature of China was used. The feature of Noin-ula's the textile pattern is as follows. Noin-ula's textiles used Scythian system of animal pattern, vine pattern, palmette pattern, thunder pattern, spiral pattern, shape of diamond pattern. Scythian system of animal pattern and vine pattern proves the interchange with the countries to the west of China. Noin-ula's textile pattern is applied to the designer's work of art. The designers are John Galliano, Etro, Chloe, Emmanuel Ungaro and so on, who express the modern ethnic style design. Because the more developed the modern society is the more embossed feature of intention for the race and the fork art, I think that Ethnic style design is applied to modern sensitive and ethnic style in the future.

애니메이션을 제작함에 있어 표현에 대한 방식은 실로 무궁무진하며 그것이야말로 실사영화에서는 볼 수 없는 애니메이션만이 가진 표현의 강점이며 관객들에게 어필할 수 있는 최대의 무기중 하나이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 극장 상영을 위한 장편 애니메이션을 제작함에 있어서 제작자들에게 선택되어온 제작기법은 Drawing, 3D Computer, Clay등과 같이 지극히 획일적이다. 상업적인 목적을 가지고 제작된 애니메이션은 시각적인 스타일면에서 대중성을 확보해야 하지만 표현성에서 대중적이라 함은 획일화되어 있는 스타일과 제작기법을 의미하는 것은 아니며 대중을 매료시킬 수 있는 예술성이라는 측면에서 이해되어야 한다. 관객은 항상 새로운 소재, 새로운 연출, 새로운 시각적 스타일을 원한다. 천편일률적으로 파일화 된 애니메이션은 관객들에게 외면 당 할 수밖에 없을 것이다 따라서 상업적인 목적으로 기획, 제작되어진 애니메이션이라 할지라도 작품자체가 예술적 가치를 지니고 있지 못한다면 가시적인 상업적 가치 또한 기대하기 어렵다. 애니메이션을 제작하기 위해 시각적 스타일을 디자인한다는 것은 아트워크 자체에 국한되는 문제가 아니며 작품의 내용과 분위기 그리고 캐릭터가 반영된 움직임의 스타일까지 포함되는 디자인이어야 한다. 여기에 더해 완성된 디자인을 제작적인 측면에서 실현할 수 있도록 제작 프로세스 또한 치밀하게 계산되고 실험되어야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to make a basic resource in developing a design satisfying male consumers＇ fashion inclination by examining the features of the men＇s fashion style shown in the fashion collections. Collected were 1,291 photos relating to the suit style through the analysis on the men＇s fashion collections for 8 years(1995-2002). Representative men＇s fashion images are extracted from these photos, then figurative features were analyzed and typified according to image, and finally representative fashion styles were presented and its meaning was analyzed. Representative men＇s fashion images are Sophisticated, Casual, Elegant, Active, Natural, Classic, Romantic, Ethnic, Military, Marine, Colonial, and Avant-garde. With the subcategories such as detailed shape of jacket and trousers, the relationship of color between upper and lower clothes, type and organizing method of material quality, type and arranging method of pattern, and coordination, the extracted fashion images were analyzed the figurative features. After finding out the common and different features, four men＇s fashion styles were suggested. Formal style maintains the typical suit style and has the feature expressing the men＇s authority, tradition, and honor. It includes Sophisticated, Elegant. and Classic image. Casual St Sporty style has the feature that there is a change in the volume of suit by adding activity to the typical suit style. It includes Casual, Active, and Natural image. Uniformed style is that political and social environment such as war has an influence on the suit design. It includes Military, Marine, and Colonial image. Deformed style has the feature that it suggests new type instead of adhering to the typical suit design. It includes Ethnic, Romantic, and Avant-garde image.

This study considers aesthetic characteristics by examining the fashion style of the silver fashion icon Iris Apfel. The research methods were a quantitative and qualitative analysis of Iris Apfel's images that were collected from 2015 to 2019 on various web-sites according to four criterions following advanced research analysis of fashion style. The results of the study are as follows. The analysis results on the fashion style of Iris Apfel, an icon of silver style, showed that cocoon, barrel and A-line silhouettes appeared most in terms of silhouettes. Second, in terms of colors, achromatic colors dominated among solid colors while one particular vivid color appeared most it came to mixed color. In terms of multi colors, these appeared according to the patterns applied to her clothing, in particular, colorful colors were used to emphasize splendor. Third, flower, bird and geometric patterns appeared most in terms of material patterns. Lastly, it was found that white short cut hair, large necklaces or bangle bracelets, over-sized black glasses and fur mufflers or canes were used in terms of hair and accessories. The features derived through analysis of the fashion style of Iris Apfel, an icon of silver style, are as follows. The first feature is exaggeration through splendid primary colors and over-sized silhouettes. The second feature is the hybrid of modern composition methods using natural images and exotic preferences. The third feature is her representation of identity using fixed items.

이 연구의 목적은 시선 이동을 통해 나타나는 인지양식에 따른 관찰 특성의 차이를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 전체적 인지양식, 분석적 인지양식 집단의 관찰 사실에 차이를 보이는 관찰 과제를 개발하고, 각각의 인지양식을 가진 대학생들을 대상으로 관찰 과제를 제시했을 때 시선 이동을 측정하였다. 통계 자료와 시각화 자료를 수집하여 Fixation을 분석하였고 두 인지양식 집단의 관찰 특성 차이를 확인하였다. 이 연구에서 밝혀진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인지양식에 따른 관찰대상 영역을 비교했을 때 전체적 인지양식 집단은 분석적 집단양식보다 거미줄 및 주위 환경을 포함하는 넓은 영역을 관찰하는 반면 분석적 인지양식 집단은 주로 거미 대상 자체에 초점을 두고 관찰한다. 둘째, 인지양식에 따른 관찰 순서와 방향을 비교했을 때 분석적 인지양식 집단은 거미 자체를 먼저 관찰한 후 주변 환경 요소로 나가는 반면 전체적 인지양식 집단은 거미와 주변 환경을 번갈아 관찰하거나 특이한 부분을 먼저 관찰하는 등 패턴이 일정하지 않다. 전체적 생김새와 부분적 생김새 관찰시 분석적 인지양식 집단에서는 일정한 방향과 연속적인 반복적 탐색이 존재하지만 전체적 인지양식 집단은 정해진 패턴 없이 눈에 띄는 속성 중심으로 관찰이 이루어진다. 이상의 연구 결과를 종합해보면 인지양식에 따라 관찰 대상, 영역, 순서, 방향에 차이가 있음을 알 수 있다. 학습자마다 다양한 관찰 결과가 나타나는 원인이 인지양식에 따라 받아 들이는 정보의 차이에 있음을 확인하였고, 본 연구의 결과는 학습자의 특성에 가장 적합한 관찰 수행을 파악하고 지도하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

We present a novel approach to producing facial caricature with Simpson cartoon style based on Moving Least Squares (MLS). We take advantage of employing the caricature stylization rule of caricature artist, Justin. Our method allows Simpson-style cartoon character similar to user's features by using Justin's technique, which is a set of caricature stylization rules. Our method transforms input photo image into Simpson style caricature by using MLS approximation. The unique characteristics of user in the photo can be detected by comparing to the mean face feature and the input face feature extracted by AAM(Active Appearance Model). To exaggerate the detected unique characteristics, we set up the exaggeration rules using Justin's technique. In addition, during the cartooning process, user's hairs and accessories are used to the deformed image to make a close resemblance. Our method preserves the reliable and stylized caricature through the exaggeration rules of the actual caricature artist's techniques. From this study, we can easily create a Simpson-style cartoon caricature to resemble user's features by combining a caricature with existing cartoon researches.
