The purpose of the present article is to understand moral instruction through Ethics written by Spinoza and enable the implications drawn from its understanding to give shape to lesson plans. In his representative book titled Ethics, Spinoza speculates ultimate substance from the metaphysical perspective and converges it into ethics. The ultimate substance, which is a cause of itself, refers to immanent cause of all things that have numerous attributes as essence. All things in nature develop the substance and exchange influence among individuals at the same time. A human in the influential relationship perceives things based on one's beneficialness and assigns moral words of good and evil. However, a human, who is a mode of substance, should escape from morals that are superficial, relative, and objective, in order to realize nature. Becoming a more complete human requires going through moral imagination in reality but going beyond the imagination ultimately. Moral instruction premises the moral imagination of a student who exists as a mode; meanwhile, it is a study to escape from the influence of moral imagination. Good and evil arise from the limitation that an existing human has, but if a life is to preserve the necessity of ultimate substance, moral instruction can be defined as the processes of alleviating the influence that hinders a human's nature from being realized. Giving shape to this processes with the basis on the Spinoza's epistemic argument, moral instructional texts can be composed of stages to form more adequate moral ideas about moral subjects gradually and cumulatively. The moral instruction like this expects moral awareness which is relatively perfect than the present moral imagination. Furthermore, with the teaching and learning like this sustained, it is expected that ultimately the limitation arising from sensible perception can be overcome to approach the realization of a human's nature.

This study analyzed the usage characteristics and requirements of students who are users of the middle school education space, and the following results were obtained: First, we could see that various types of classes were needed, such as lecture-style classes, team projects, and four-person consultation and discussion classes, in a way that helped to improve the desirable teaching patterns and learning ability. Second, the place where space was used during the break and the relationship between peers, revealed that most of them were in the classroom and the hallway, and the peer group was composed of three to eight people or more, that were active with various compositions. Third, a gym, library, toilet, stairway, cafeteria, nurse's office, and teachers' room appeared in the center of the building, indicating the need for a balanced layout. Fourth, physical education (dance) rooms, audiovisual rooms (performance rooms), workshops (personal creation), snack bar, rest area, spacious indoor square, and study rooms were needed as facilities that can help learning activities other than current facilities. These outcomes show that the existing classroom layout and space composition formats require some spatial restructuring.

Recent years have drawn a great attention to generation MZ and Metaverse, due to 4th industrial revolution and the development of digital environment that blurs the boundary between reality and virtual reality. Generation MZ approaches the information very differently from the existing generations and uses distinguished communication methods. In terms of learning, they have different motivations, types, skills and build relationships differently. Meanwhile, Metaverse is drawing a great attention as a teaching method that fits traits of gen MZ. Thus, the current research aimed to investigate how to increase the use of Metaverse in Educational Technology. Specifically, this research examined the antecedents of popularity of Gather Town, a platform of Metaverse. Big data of news articles have been collected and analyzed using the Bigkinds system provided by Korea Press Foundation. The analysis revealed, first, a rapid increasing trend of media exposure of Gather Town since July 2021. This suggests a greater utilization of Gather Town in the field of education after the COVID-19 pandemic. Second, Word Association Analysis and Word Cloud Analysis showed high weights on education related words such as 'remote', 'university', and 'freshman', while words like 'Metaverse', 'Metaverse platform', 'Covid19', and 'Avatar' were also emphasized. Third, Network Analysis extracted 'COVID19', 'Avatar', 'University student', 'career', 'YouTube' as keywords. The findings also suggest potential value of Gather Town as an educational tool under COVID19 pandemic. Therefore, this research will contribute to the application and utilization of Gather Town in the field of education.
The purpose of this research is to compare the mathematical beliefs that directly or indirectly affect the mathematics learning of Korean languge learners with those of non-Korean languge learners and identify the characteristics. To this end, an analytical comparative research was conducted through a questionnaire survey on perceptions of mathematics learning for 6th grade students of elementary school with different cultural and linguistic backgrounds in the same mathematics classroom. As a result of the analysis, Korean languge learners and non-Korean languge learners gave different meanings to learning mathematics, and they recognized various meanings of success in mathematics. In addition, the math learning ability of non-Korean learners was evaluated higher than that of Korean learners. Based on their positive beliefs, they decided how to resolve conflict situations with different problem-solving results. It will be necessary to prepare a teaching/learning plan that can fully implement multicultural mathematics education in the mathematics classroom where Korean language learners with different cultural and linguistic backgrounds belong. The results of this research can contribute to raising awareness of the need for follow-up researches to find ways to reduce the learning gap between Korean languge learners and non-Korean languge learners. It is expected that this research will contribute to understanding the perceptive characteristics of Korean language learners about learning mathematics and to prepare a plan to utilize them in mathematics lessons.
Achievement pressure and enthusiasm affecting mathematics academic achievement are constantly changing and affecting academic achievement. Therefore, a longitudinal study is needed to examine the influence of the change patterns of teachers' achievement pressure and enthusiasm on the change patterns of academic achievement. This study utilized student data from the 5th grade of elementary school (2013 year) to the third grade of middle school (2017 year) of the Korean Education Longitudinal Study 2013. The longitudinal change patterns of mathematics academic achievement were classified into similar subgroups and the influence of the longitudinal change patterns of the achievement pressure and enthusiasm of each group on the longitudinal change pattern of mathematics academic achievement and the path were compared and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, in all four subgroups with similar longitudinal changes in mathematics academic achievement, the teacher's achievement pressure showed little change from the fifth grade, while the teacher's enthusiasm continued to decline from the fifth grade. In addition, the influence of teachers' achievement pressure and enthusiasm perceived by students in each group on mathematics academic achievement was different. This suggests that in order to improve mathematics academic achievement, it is necessary to support teaching and learning reflecting the characteristics and dispositions of students.
This study is to investigate the characteristics of problem-finding and problem-solving abilities demonstrated by the secondary gifted students in the context of STEAM convergent problems. For this, using the STEAM convergence problem solving ability test, we qualitatively and quantitatively compared and analyzed the workbook outputs written in the process of finding and solving problems for each student in the gifted class. The results are as follows: First, we found that the speciality of the major of the proposed activity paper influenced the preference for questions and pattern of finding problems. Second, it was found that the difference in the ability to find and solve problems for a specific task was not by the major of the gifted class, but by the composition of the group. Third, in finding and solving the STEAM convergent problem, the individual creativity and the cooperative creativity of the group were more significant than the major. These results suggest that it is necessary to include the affective factors of gifted students and the concept of cooperation in problem-finding and problem-solving ability evaluation, and there is a need to develop a teaching and learning strategy that can improve cooperative problem-solving skills so that group creativity can be exhibited well.

This study conducted a systematic literature review on nursing students to find out the types and composition of patient safety-related education programs. The research was conducted systematically using PRISMA. The patient was a nursing college student, and the intervention was patient safety education. The outcome was either numerical or descriptive reports of the results measured using the tool. The types of research were carried out including randomized design, quasi-experimental design, one-group design, survey and qualitative research. The paper was searched through Medline, Embases, CINAHL, DBpia, Riss and KISS. A total of 2,468 papers were searched in the search results, and nine papers were used for analysis as a result of extracting data according to PICO. The characteristics of patient safety education of nursing college students were classified according to the teaching method, period, result variables and measurement tools. As a result, patient safety education consisted of a variety of subjects, and was being taught through lectures, clinical practice, laboratories, and simulations. The period of education also varied. The resulting variables were mainly checked for knowledge, attitude, and skill, and the tools used to measure them varied. Patient safety education for nursing college students was conducted through various topics, methods and periods at home and abroad. Therefore, continuous research is needed to establish consistent and integrated patient safety education in educational institutions and working institutions to produce nursing personnel with patient safety capabilities.
For teachers, noticing refers to paying attention to something, indicating they interpret it and how they are willing to react to it in the context of their own instruction. Analysis of noticing features enables us to understand the overall characteristics of the teacher's lesson design, practice, and reflection, which are core agents in the educational design and implementation. This can also be taken to be the basis of education design for competency reinforcement for teachers. Therefore, in this study, the characteristics of noticing shown in teachers' reflections after class design and demonstration were identified. For this purpose, the self-reflection journals of 106 elementary pre-service teachers enrolled in the College of Education in Gangwon-do were analyzed. In particular, the journals were gathered that were written after the demonstration dealing with the change of gas volume by temperature in science class. After designing a noticing analysis frame consisting of the five dimensions 'agent', 'stage', 'topic', 'focus', and 'stance', the frequency and ratio of noticing by each dimension's components were derived. The frequency and ratio of noticing for the dimension of 'focus' were analyzed for the dimensions of 'stage' and 'topic'. The results of the study were as follows. For the dimension of 'agent', the frequency of teacher and student was the highest, and for the dimension of 'stage', inquiry activity was the highest. For the 'topic' dimension, class design according to the teaching strategy appeared most frequently, and in the 'focus' dimension, the cases that did not specify the goal of the class and the competencies to be achieved by the students appeared most frequently. In the 'stance' dimension, description showed the highest frequency. From the analysis of how the 'focus' changes according to the 'stage' and 'topic', it was found that a characteristic focus appeared for each component of the dimension. From these results, the implications of the noticing characteristics of pre-service teachers for the design and implementation of teacher education were discussed.

The study presented an online class case focusing on G University's writing course, and analyzed students' satisfaction. Through this, it aimed to analyze the possibility of online education and to explore efficient operation of online writing lectures. According to the result of looking into the online writing class run by G University, students' satisfaction with the online writing class was high. Despite the limited circumstances, students' participation in the class was high and they also actively participated in online correction. However, there was also a challenge to address. Online writing education showed limitations in terms of smooth communication with students. Correction of writing can be done online sufficiently but the limitations of communication should be supplemented to improve the completeness of interactive education. In addition, most of the students participated in online correction, but some did not participate. It is necessary to encourage students to participate voluntarily to make online classes take roots. After all, for the effective operation of online writing classes, strategies and systems for teaching and learning should be prepared for utilization of various educational video media, sufficient learning of theory and practice of writing, and smooth communication between professors and students. Only when these conditions are met, online writing classes will be able to operate steadily.
In today's digital information society, student knowledge and skills to analyze big data and make informed decisions have become an important goal of school mathematics. Integrating big data statistical projects with digital technologies in high school <Artificial Intelligence> mathematics courses has the potential to provide students with a learning experience of high impact that can develop these essential skills. This paper proposes a set of guidelines for designing effective big data statistical project-based tasks and evaluates the tasks in the artificial intelligence mathematics textbook against these criteria. The proposed guidelines recommend that projects should: (1) align knowledge and skills with the national school mathematics curriculum; (2) use preprocessed massive datasets; (3) employ data scientists' problem-solving methods; (4) encourage decision-making; (5) leverage technological tools; and (6) promote collaborative learning. The findings indicate that few textbooks fully align with these guidelines, with most failing to incorporate elements corresponding to Guideline 2 in their project tasks. In addition, most tasks in the textbooks overlook or omit data preprocessing, either by using smaller datasets or by using big data without any form of preprocessing. This can potentially result in misconceptions among students regarding the nature of big data. Furthermore, this paper discusses the relevant mathematical knowledge and skills necessary for artificial intelligence, as well as the potential benefits and pedagogical considerations associated with integrating technology into big data tasks. This research sheds light on teaching mathematical concepts with machine learning algorithms and the effective use of technology tools in big data education.
