Background: Cancer is a major health problem due to the aging population with increasing deaths. Family functioning is affected by cancer diagnosis and treatment. The aim of this study was to comparative analysis of the perception of family functioning by heads of families with and without cancer members during illness, focusing on changes or probable changes. Materials and Methods: This comparative study was conducted on two groups (families with a member of the cancer and controls without a family member with cancer). The families were of patients referred to the clinics and hospitals of Imam Khomeini, Taleghani and Omid of Urmia city, the number of samples being 148 for cases and 176for the control group. To collect the data, valid and reliable family functioning (FAD) was applied, a 60-item questionnaire with seven dimensions, with heads of families. To analyze the data SPSS- 23 Software was used for descriptive and analytical statistics. Significance level was defined p <0.05. Results: Among the seven items : problem solving, communication, roles, emotional response, emotional involvement, behavior control and overall functioning, only differences for average scores of problem-solving were statistically significant. Discussion: Contrary to common perception of severe damage for family functioning in families with cancer members, results of this study indicate that functioning in terms of family caregivers is more or less similar to that of the families with other diseases. Only in problem-solving item do these families experience more difficulty. Conclusion: According to the research findings, in nursing from families with cancer patient, it is recommended to focus more on the problem-solving item of the families.

For rapid production of freesia 'Shiny Gold' shoots by using a bioreactor, several culture conditions were investigated. Young shoots (< 1 cm) obtained from freesia corm section in vitro were used as plant materials for this experiment. As a basic experimental environment, 20 young shoots were inoculated into a 5 L balloon type bubble reactor which contained 1 L 1/2 strength MS medium supplemented with 30 g sucrose (3%), and the aeration was 0.1 vvm (vessel volumes per minute). The bioreactors were placed in a growth room with $23^{\circ}C$ temperature, 60% relative humidity and $60{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$ light condition (16 h/8 h, day/night). The concentrations of MS media were set with 1/4, 1/2, 1 strength, medium volume 10, 20, 40%, sucrose concentration 3, 6, 9%, and aeration 0.1, 0.2, 0.4 vvm. After 4 weeks of cultivation, the growth indexes including the fresh and dry weight, and plant height were evaluated. At the same time, the consumption, pH, and EC of medium were estimated 4 weeks after incubating. The best results were achieved when 40 young shoots were incubated in a bioreactor in which 1 L of 1/2 strength MS medium supplemented with 6% sucrose was used for the rapid production of freesia shoots. The shoots were 17 cm in plant height and 1.0 g in fresh weight only 4 weeks after incubation which could be a good plant material suitable for corm enlargement in vitro. No correlation was observed between the growth of freesia shoots and the consumption, pH or EC of medium.
Common Core State Standards for Mathematics(CCSSM) is a blueprint for school mathematics in 2010s of the United States. CCSSM can be divided into two major parts, the standards for mathematical content and the standards for mathematical practice. This study focused on the latter. Mathematical practice comes from the mathematical process in 'Principles and standards for school mathematics(NCTM, 2000)' as well as the mathematical proficiency in 'Adding it up(NRC, 2001)'. It is composed of eight standards which mathematically proficient students are expected to do. From Korean perspective, it can also be comparable with the mathematical process which contains mathematical problem solving, mathematical reasoning, and mathematical communication and was provided by the 2009 revised national curriculum for mathematics in Korea. However, few focused the standards for mathematical practice among the studies related to CCSSM in Korea. Moreover, there is a study that even ignores the existence of the standards for mathematical practice itself. This study aims to understand the standards for mathematical practice through analysing the document of CCSSM and its successive materials for implementing the CCSSM. This understanding will help effective implementation of the mathematical process in Korea.

The purpose of this study was to present the activating schemes of nutrition education in elementary school curriculum. We examined the nutrition education status and perception of teachers on nutrition education in elementary school. This study was carried out using a self-administered questionnaire and subjects were 263 elementary school teachers in Gyeonggi province. All data in this research was analyzed through SAS program, and the frequency and percentage on each question were calculated. Data for each group was analyzed according to sex and teaching career and the groups were treated for significance by using chi-square test. Most of teachers taught the nutrition education as a part of practical In curriculum and thought that student's interest and participation on nutrition education was high. And the teachers understood that nutrition education at school curriculum is very necessary and effective. But most teachers had no experience or teacher training Program for nutrition education. They thought it was difficult to carry out nutrition education in school because of their poor nutritive knowledge, and lack in educational materials. Moreover, it is revealed that the teachers supposed that the activation of nutrition education in school requires schools to provide nutritive guidance to students in cooperation with the homes.

PURPOSE. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of five different metal framework designs on the fracture resistance of the metal-ceramic restorations. MATERIALS AND METHODS. For the purpose of this study, the central incisor tooth was prepared, and the metal analogue of it and a master die were fabricated. The counter die with the 0.5 mm clearance was used for fabricating the wax patterns for the metal copings. The metal copings with five different metal framework designs were designed from Group 1 to 5. Group 1 with the metal collar, Group 2, 3, 4 and 5 with 0 mm, 0.5 mm, 1 mm and 1.5 mm cervical metal reduction respectively were fabricated. Total of fifty metal ceramic crown samples were fabricated. The fracture resistance was evaluated with the Universal Testing Machine (Instron model No 1011, UK). The basic data was subjected to statistical analysis by ANOVA and Student's t-test. RESULTS. Results revealed that the fracture resistance ranged from 651.2 to 993.6 N/$m^2$. Group 1 showed the maximum and Group 5 showed the least value. CONCLUSION. The maximum load required to fracture the test specimens even in the groups without the metal collar was found to be exceeding the occlusal forces. Therefore, the metal frameworks with 0.5 mm and 1 mm short of the finish line are recommended for anterior metal ceramic restoration having adequate fracture resistance.
PURPOSE. This in vitro study aimed to analyze and compare the reproducibility of zirconia and lithium disilicate crowns manufactured by digital workflow. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A typodont model with a prepped upper first molar was set in a phantom head, and a digital impression was obtained with a video intraoral scanner (CEREC Omnicam; Sirona GmbH), from which a single crown was designed and manufactured with CAD/CAM into a zirconia crown and lithium disilicate crown (n=12). Reproducibility of each crown was quantitatively retrieved by superimposing the digitized data of the crown in 3D inspection software, and differences were graphically mapped in color. Areas with large differences were analyzed with digital microscopy. Mean quadratic deviations (RMS) quantitatively obtained from each ceramic group were statistically analyzed with Student's t-test (${\alpha}=.05$). RESULTS. The RMS value of lithium disilicate crown was $29.2\;(4.1){\mu}m$ and $17.6\;(5.5){\mu}m$ on the outer and inner surfaces, respectively, whereas these values were $18.6\;(2.0){\mu}m$ and $20.6\;(5.1){\mu}m$ for the zirconia crown. Reproducibility of zirconia and lithium disilicate crowns had a statistically significant difference only on the outer surface (P<.001). The outer surface of lithium disilicate crown showed over-contouring on the buccal surface and under-contouring on the inner occlusal surface. The outer surface of zirconia crown showed both over- and under-contouring on the buccal surface, and the inner surface showed under-contouring in the marginal areas. CONCLUSION. Restoration manufacturing by digital workflow will enhance the reproducibility of zirconia single crowns more than that of lithium disilicate single crowns.
Background: Oral carcinoma (OC) remains as one of the most difficult malignancies to cure. Hesa-A is an Iranian herbal-marine compound that has shown promising anti-tumor properties on various human cancer cells, although the mechanisms of action remain to be addressed. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of two doses of Hesa-A on mRNA expression of p53 as a main prognosticator of OC. Materials and Methods: 60 rats were randomly divided into 5 groups of 12 animals each. Rats in carcinoma groups received 0, 250 and 500 mg/kg body weight of Hesa-A three times a day. The two other groups considered as treated and untreated healthy groups. At the end of experiment, animals were sacrificed and tongue tissues subjected to H and E staining and real time PCR. Results: Our results indicated that compared to healthy group, p53 over expressed ~ 40% in untreated carcinoma group. After treatment with 250mg/kg and 500mg/kg body weights of Hesa-A, p53 level dropped by 53.4% and 13.6 %, respectively, compared to untreated carcinoma group (p<0.05, p<0.0001). Moreover, there was a significant relation between p53 mRNA content and observed pathological changes in studied groups (p<0.05). Conclusions: These data provide insights into the mechanism(s) by which Hesa-A improves clinical outcome of oral carcinoma by modulation of p53 expression.
Hair cut is one of the best useful technical tool for hair styling. In this study using the rule of the layers of hair design, balanced for visual art, perceptual ability and form created by the principles of analysis and offer hair cuts and hair design of the representation of regions and even hair design as the basis of a student of Hair Beauty and all the people working in the field can create a variety of hair design puts the purpose to establish a basis. The result of this study can be outline as follows: First, the step line and the movement of the relationship between the law of the layers above and below the length of the same layer techniques, the same consists of a vertical cross-section of the overall round shape of the cut same layer is created and the appropriate volume and movement, the movement of low-layer round a little bit more feeling and expression is used when you want. High-layer used to want to move a lot of light and could see that. Second, the layer of the Law and over direction, lifting, section, the line control. weight control and analyzed by principle and the principle of the process of forming the written form was unknown. Third, hair design, the expansion of the expressive power of the law of the layers, and the section of the over direction depends on the presence of line control to express the length of the outline I had to, lifting the weight to adjust form controls, and the expression of Hair Design will be expanding the width. A hair designer, a layer style to create a zone he thought the law of the first layer formative area To further the reach will be a lot of research, leading up formative aspects of this research thesis do not have missing parts, or as a result of the Beauty of Hair Design and the width of a hair design education in the field can perform to help feed the reference materials that will be.
Gongneung Weir 2 was built in 1970s to supply water for irrigation. For a long time, the weir was left uncared because of the land use change of the nearby area. The weir is 1.5 m high, and the stream in which the weir was installed has bed materials of fine sands to fine gravels. In 2006, the local government and residents agreed on uninstalling the weir, and the weir was removed completely on April 14. This paper reports the results of three field investigations for the study of the stream morphology change after the weir removal. Changes in grain size distribution, bed elevation, and cross section before and after the weir removal are provided and discussed. Net amount of sediment deposits within 1 km reach of the stream is estimated, and the results illustrates that the sediment process, leading to an equilibrium of the bed, progressed very swiftly, namely within 45 days.
