Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate infant temperament and mother-infant attachment of breast-feeding mothers with a $5{\sim}7$ month old infant. Methods: This study was descriptive research. The subjects were 258 infants and their mothers participating in 'Year 2007 Healthy Breastfed Baby Contest' on September 5, 2007 and visiting a community health service center from September 1 to December 30 in 2007, The data was gathered by structured questionnaires about the 'maternal attachment inventory (MAI)' and 'what my baby is like (WBL)'. Results: The mean score of WBL was 6.75 and that of MAI was 3.88. In addition, there was a significant positive correlation between the score of infant temperament and mother-infant attachment (r = .33, p < .01). Conclusion: Breast-feeding mothers perceived infant's temperament as more positive, therefore, breast-feeding should be encouraged.

Recently, almost games are using the 3D environment. Therefore, it required strongly that well-structured 3D engine or tools for development of some complicate 3D applications efficiently. In this paper, we design and implement a 3D engine (PLay engine) using the DirectX 9 SDK of the Microsoft corporation. The PLay engine has independent module structure, which has object oriented characteristics. and has not only 3D rendering functions but efficient algorithms. Moreover, we implement some tools what has compatibility with our engine for convenience. Therefore, it helps development of a 3D application easily and efficiently. We also describe each module with 2-layer structure, and each tool with compatible module, and make a simple game using PLay engine for testify.

An efficient algorithm for clock skew optimization is proposed in this paper. It construct a new clock routing topology which is the generalized graph model while previous methods uses tree-structured routing topology. Edge-insertion technique is used in order to reduce the clock skew. A link-edge is inserted repeatedly between two sinks whose delay difference is large and the distance is small. As a result, the delay of a sink which has the longer delay is decreased and the clock skew is reduced. The proposed algorithm is implemented in C programming language. From the experimental results, we can get the total wire length minimization under the given skew bound.

This paper describes the design of a block data flow architecture(BDFA) which implements 2-D discrete wavelet transform(DWT)/inverse discrete wavelet transform(IDWT) for real time image processing applications. The BDFA uses 2-D product separable filters for DWT/IDWT. It consists of an input module, a processor array, and an output module. It use both data partitioning and algorithm partitioning to achieve high efficiency and high throughput. The 2-D DWT/IDWT algorithm for 256$\times$256 lenna image has been simulated using IDL(Interactive Data Language). The 2-D array structured BDFA for the 2-D filter has been modeled and simulated using VHDL.

A new stereoscopic codec. structure using MPEG-2 multiview profile is presented in this paper. In the suggested codec., the left image is coded with motion estimation in the base layerand the right image is coded with disparity estimation in the enhancement layer. Since it is possible to calculate rough motion of the right image sequence with disparity and motion of the left image sequence, motion compensation of the enhancement layer is performed without motion estimation. Since the proposed codec. does not perform motion estimation in the enhancement layer encoding, it is simple and reduces the encoding time. We compared the PSNR of encoded image with three different structured codec., and the experimental results show that suggested codec. has comparable with other codecs.

Extensible Markup Language(XML) is fast emerging as the dominant standard for representing data in the World Wide Web. Sophisticated query engines that allow users to effectively tap the data stored in XML documents will be crucial to exploiting the full power of XML. While there has been a great deal of activity recently proposing new semi-structured data models and query languages for this purpose, this paper explores the more conservative approach of using traditional relational database engines for processing XML documents conforming to Document Type Descriptors(DTDs). In this paper, we describe how to generate relational schemas from XML DTDs. The main issues that must be addressed inc]ode (a) dealing with the complexity of DTD element specifications (b) resolving the conflict between the two-level nature of relational schemas (table and attribute) vs. the arbitrary nesting of XML DTD schemas and (c) dealing with set-valued attributes and recursion. We now propose a set of transformations that can be used to "simplify" any arbitrary DTD without undermining the effectiveness of queries over documents conforming to that DTD.

An intelligent system embedded with multiple sources of knowledge may provide more robust intelligence with highly ill structured problems than the system with a single source of knowledge. This paper proposes the hybrid knowledge integration mechanism that yields the cooperated knowledge by integrating expert, user, and machine knowledge within the fuzzy logic-driven framework, and then refines it with a genetic algorithm (GA) to enhance the reasoning performance. The proposed knowledge integration mechanism is applied for the prediction of Korea stock price index (KOSPI). Empirical results show that the proposed mechanism can make an intelligent system with the more adaptable and robust intelligence.

This study gives opportunity for investigating how student teachers view the teaching profession and how they transfer their pedagogical knowledge into practice. The aim of the study is to investigate the teaching skills student teachers gained in the assessment of micro teaching of their peers. The participants are 30 mathematics student teachers enrolled in the teacher training program in a state university. Document analysis and semi-structured interviews are the research instruments and inferential & descriptive statistics are used for the data analysis. The findings suggest that the qualitative and quantitative peer assessments of student teachers were graded differently which results from the difference of perceptions about teaching and different conceptualizations of the teaching qualifications.

In the initial process of photosynthesis, a biological electron transfer system, photoelectric conversion occurs and then long-range electron transfer takes place very efficiently in one direction through the biomolecules. The metal/insulator/metal structured device consisting of GFP, viologen, cytochrome c hetero-thin film was presented based on the biomimesis. GFP, viologen, and cytochrome c was used as an electron sensitizer, a mediator, and an electron acceptor. Cytochrome c molecules and viologen molecules were deposited by Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique, and GFP molecules were adsorbed by self-assembly method (SAM). Surface morphology of hetero-thin film was analyzed by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). Local photoswitching effects of a proposed photodiode were verified by current-voltage measurements using hybrid STM/I-V measurement system.

The food service industry represents one of Korea's fastest-growing and most challenging areas of business but it is at the beginning of the industry. Italian cooking of the food service industry has a lot of merits but it is difficult to manage because of the shortage of domestic customers and the poor management of the industry. This research suggests the marketing strategies in order to systematize Italian food service satisfy the customers requirements and promote the sale of Italian food. The circulation structures should be simplified and systematized in order to enhance the quality of the food and lower the price. Italian food should be recognized as health food cooked with unsaturated fatty acid, olive oil. It is necessary that the Italian food for the Korea especially for the women and children be developed. The information about Italian food the advertisement of it should be structured because 13 percent of Italian food sale has dropped in the current environment.
