  • It is a Known fact that driving through long tunnel increases possibility of traffic accident because of psychological feeling of insecurity and dispersion of drivers' concentration since driving in narrow and limited space for a longtime. It, therefore, results in raising transportation and environment problems, such as traffic accident difficult to be properly dealt with and ventilation. This study aims at proposing a method of augmenting driving amenity by improving the internal lighting facilities in the tunnel. The study is conducted by investigating internal landscapes of tunnels by lighting colors, which are currently being operated. The Color Planning System (CPS), developed by SHARP Co. Ltd, is exploited for selecting adjective that express the sensitivity image on lighting colors. The CPS is an example that applies to sensitivity of human body for products design development. The CPS takes the following process to define the color : 1) expressing "Pvoduct's Image" as "A Word (adjective)" and 2) referring "A Word" to "Image Scale", and 3) determining the color through this "Image Panel". The study is processed by making a questionnaire using the semantic differential (SD) scale, grasping the consciousness structure of experimental persons through the Factor Analysis, and building a model in which dependent variable is "Degree of Preference" about internal landscape in tunnel using LISREL(LInear Structural RELations).

  • Although student satisfaction is important in university development, there have been many studies in this area. Especially student satisfaction is closely related to emotional aspect, but most studies have tended to study it with cognitive view. To suggest the model of student satisfaction with hedonic view, the model which we present in this study includes professor presence and interaction, PAD(pleasure, arousal, dominance), satisfaction(dependent variable). Through reviewing previous studies, we expect that these professor presence and students' interaction effect PAD, in turn, PAD effect satisfaction. Survey research is employed to test hypotheses involving professor presence, students' interaction, PAD and satisfaction. Previous researches, such as education, marketing, game, have been referenced to measure constructs. We collected data involving students in a university, and used 219 respondents to analyze these data using LISREL structural modeling. Professor presence had positive effects on professor-student interaction, pleasure, arousal, and dominance. Also professor-student interaction had positive effect on pleasure and arousal, and student-student interaction had positive effects on pleasure and arousal, dominance. As a result, PAD had effects on students' satisfaction. In the final section, we discussed several limitations of our study and suggested directions for future research. We concluded with a discussion of managerial implications, including the potential to advance understanding learning in a university.

First, the study will establish the concept of Brand Values of Environmentally-friendly agricultural product through theoretical discussion. Second, it shows the effects of Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products brand value on Brand Satisfaction, Brand Trust and Brand Loyalty by empirical investigation. Third, in order to provide the methodology of brand development, literature regarding and questionnaire survey were used such as Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products Brand Value, Brand Satisfaction, Brand Trust and Brand Loyalty. Based up on the results, the research estimates consumers' relative priorities of Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products Brand Value factors in purchase. This research also suggests the consumer oriented new brand development and the progressive direction for the successful launching of Korean Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products Brand. Research design, data, and methodology - Because the relative literatures reviewed regarding not only each factor but also the relationships among them, Brand Value was categorized into 4 dimensions: Emotional, Social, Functional, and Epistemic Value. Then, Brand Loyalty was added as an outcome variable and Brand Satisfaction, Brand Trust were also added as mediators. The proposed research model and 13 hypotheses were created and 23 measurement items were developed. A face-to-face questionnaire survey with items concerning the Brand Value of Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products is conducted to housewives in metropolitan area in May 2016. Respondent answered about Brand Value, Brand Satisfaction, Brand Trust and Brand Loyalty in preferred Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Products. 333 copies of the questionnaire were collected and analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 20.0 to determine the reliability and validity of the measurements. Results - From the confirmatory factor analysis and a structural equation modeling, the outcomes of these studies were as follows; (1) Three Brand value dimensions, i.e. Emotional Value, Social Value, and Epistemic Value had a significant and positive impact on Brand Satisfaction, but Functional Value did not. (2) Social Value also had an impact on Brand Trust, (3) Brand Satisfaction significantly affected Brand Trust, and Brand Trust influenced on Brand Loyalty, and (4) Brand Satisfaction were perfectly effective in mediation between Emotional Value, Epistemic Value and Brand Trust, and it also partially mediated between Social Value and Brand Trust. Conclusions - According to the result of consumer research on Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Product brand, 3 dimensions of brand value affected brand satisfaction, and especially Social Value was a significant positive dimension. So, marketers should concern about value proposition of Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural Product to consumers by using premium package design, store identity, and distinctive product. Consumers wanted to get self-esteem, self-regard, and high social position by purchasing it. This study has academic and practical significance, so the findings can be applied to a wide range of brand management strategies. However, there are some limitations; 1) limitation about development of new brand value dimensions, 2) limitation about gender in the area of respondents. Future research should be done with wide range of respondents.

  • Cracks in RC members occurred as a result of material and structural factors. The crack width and a crack location are very difficult to examine. A direct crack control method and indirect crack control method to control a crack are presented in the KHBDC (LSD) and KSCDC (2012). In the KSCDC text, cracks are controlled by steel spacing indirectly under a service load. On the other hand, in the KSCDC appendix, cracks are controlled by a crack width directly under a sustained load. In particular, the loading state considered is different. On the other hand, cracks are controlled under a combination of service load and an effective elastic modulus is used in KHBDC. Therefore, in this study, an effective elastic modulus that can reflect the ratio of the sustained load and live load was applied, and a maximum steel spacing was calculated through a design crack width. A variable interpretation was carried out, and a rational crack control method was assessed. As a result, a steel spacing through the design crack width in the KSCDC was smaller than that from the design crack width in the KHBDC, which leads to a conservative design. In addition, the maximum steel spacing suggested in this study has a consistency eliminating the difference between direct crack control and indirect crack control.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how a leader's organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) affects subordinates' interpersonal citizenship behavior (ICB) and job stress levels. A leader's OCB involves taking-charge behavior, loyal boosterism, and the industry. We hypothesized that leader-member exchange (LMX) would mediate the relationship between leader's OCB and subordinates' ICB and job stress level. We tested the model using a sample of 293 employees from different organizations from September 2019 until November 2019. We conducted confirmatory factor analyses of the variables and analyzed the data by using structural equation modeling. We also conducted a CFA to assess the fit of a three-factor model for the leader's OCB items. Empirical findings show that LMX fully mediated the effect of leader's OCB on employees' ICB and job stress level. Leader's OCB had a positive effect on LMX. Moreover, LMX had a positive effect on employees' ICB but had a negative effect on job stress. We found support for our hypotheses that leader's OCB is positively related to ICB but negatively related to job stress, and this relationship is mediated by LMX. We discuss limitations, implications for practice, and future research.

  • This study examined the relationship among service quality perceived by consumers according to the types of driving ranges(I: indoor and outdoor), market segmentation, the reason for choice of the driving range, customer satisfaction and loyalty and analyze their causal relationship. To reach this goal, this study conducted a questionnaire research for consumers of driving ranges by dividing it into the indoor and outdoor ranges. The quest-factor analysis(SPSSWIN Ver 13.0), the confirmatory factor analysis and the structural equation modeling method (AMOS 6.0) were used to analyze the data collected for this study. Based on the findings of this study, the following conclusions were drawn: The reason for the choice in both indoor driving and outdoor driving had no direct influence on the customer loyalty, but it had an indirect influence on the customer loyalty through customer satisfaction and service expectation. In addition, the service expectation had a direct influence on the customer loyalty in both indoor driving and outdoor driving. Therefore, the customer satisfaction in both indoor driving and outdoor driving serve as a significant mediating variable to reinforce the relationship between the service quality and customer loyalty.

To accommodate this study, a survey was conducted from November 26th to December 27th, 2019 through the cooperation of registered security guards working in government buildings in Seoul, Gwacheon, Daejeon, and Sejong. A total of 234 survey sheets were collected and 28 sheets out of them had missing data or incomplete data so a subsequent total of 206 survey sheets were used in this analysis. SPSS 23.0 was applied making use of the collected data for frequency and descriptive statistics analysis, trustworthiness analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and correlation analysis. By applying AMOS 23.0, a means to examine the structural relation between organization, job engagement, and security performance were able to be analyzed. The result of this study is as follows. First, it was found that organizational justice gives a meaningful positive (+) influence on job engagement for registered security guards. Second, it was found that job engagement for registered security guards gives them a meaningful positive(+) influence in their security performance. Third, it was found that organizational justice does not give any meaningful influence on security performance directly. Fourth, organizational justice does not give any meaningful influence on security performance directly but it gives meaningful positive(+) influence on security performance via job engagement as it takes the role of full mediation variable. Based on the results, in order to maximize security performance of registered security guards, this study recommends that government building administrators to try their best to propose to the National Assembly a proposition for Police Assigned for registered security guards Act to be legalized in order to improve the leveling system of registered security guards so that registered security guards can have more job engagement.
