우리나라가 속해 있는 동북아지역은 동남아시아와 더불어 세계 물류의 중심지 및 생산공장의 역할을 수행하고 있다. 특히 동북아시아를 선도하고 있는 한국, 중국, 일본의 경우 동아시아의 물류 거점역활 선점과 글로벌기업 유치를 위하여 다양한 Free Zone제도를 제정 도입하여 활성화에 노력을 기울이고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 동 제도의 시행초기 단계에 있는 우리나라의 경우, 주변국을 벤치마킹하여 성공요인을 찾는 것이 시행착오를 줄이고 경쟁의 우위를 확보하는 지름길이 될 것이다. 한편, 주변국의 Free Zone들은 다양한 전략을 가지고 경쟁을 하고 있으나, 우리나라의 경우 자유무역지대 활성화 전략에 포함되는 구성요소간의 종속관계, 계층파악 등의 시스템 적인 차원에서의 접근은 전무한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문은 이러한 점에 착안하여, 군산 자유무역지대(Free Trade Zone) 성공요인을 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 하여 군산자유무역지대 활성화를 위한 구조모델을 FSM법을 사용하여 구축하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다.

Purpose: This article aims to provide a balanced understanding of the structural conditions and social processes involved in the creation and diffusion of innovation. Research design, data and methodology: Drawing on organizational and economic sociology and strategic management literature, this article offers a conceptual framework that highlights the two dimensions of network structures: the vertical dimension focusing on power and legitimacy vs. the horizontal dimension highlighting information value. By organizing the literature on the functions and consequences of network, this paper advances a theoretical perspective in understanding the vast array of empirical studies on innovation involving network analysis. Results: Using the proposed framework, this article explains how the mechanisms of power, legitimacy, and information value work together with social structural factors, thus enriching our understanding of innovation. This study reveals that the information mechanism (horizontal dimension) has been most important in innovation creation and diffusion, and that trust, credibility, and legitimacy are operative in innovation diffusion. Conclusions: This paper contributes to the literature by responding to calls to extend existing frameworks to better account for the dynamics between innovation and network. In addition, this article highlights how conceptualizing innovation within the horizontal-vertical dimensions of network structures, creates new opportunities for future research.

A good understanding of the chemical composition and structural characteristics of a carbonaceous material is essential in conversion processes. Understanding how the composition and structural changes influence the burning behaviour of coal is important when assessing a coal's potential for utilization. To explore the potentials of a typical Nigerian coal, both conventional and advanced analytical techniques such as proximate analysis, ultimate analysis, calorific value, surface area analyser, SEM, FTIR, XRD and SAXS were employed. The results obtained from these characterizations agree favourable well with a typical South African coal that is of enormous contribution to the gross domestic product (GDP) of the nation economy.

Although the small and medium ports are actually competing with various strategies, the definition and structural understanding of small and medium ports are not known very much. Therefore this study has launched from this fact, and has the objective of obtaining the structural model for increasing shippers' attraction of small and medium ports. The process began by abstracting the components that composed the success factors through recent research, and grouping it by FA(Factor Analysis) method. Also, by using the FSM(Fuzzy Structural Modeling) method to understand the structure of the grouped components, and the structural model for increasing shippers' attraction of small and medium ports was able to obtain as the result. When analyzing the obtained structural model, easiness of shipment, connection to hubport and efficiency of hinterland network came out to be the most important component groups.

p73 is a structural and functional homologue of the p53 tumor suppressor protein. Like p53, p73 induces apoptosis and cell cycle arrest and transactivates p53-responsive genes, conferring its tumor suppressive activity. In addition, p73 has unique roles in neuronal development and differentiation. The importance of p73-induced apoptosis lies in its capability to substitute the pro-apoptotic activity of p53 in various human cancer cells in which p53 is mutated or inactive. Despite the great importance of p73-induced apoptosis in cancer therapy, little is known about the molecular basis of p73-induced apoptosis. In this review, we discuss the p73 structures reported to date, detailed structural comparisons between p73 and p53, and current understanding of the transcription-dependent and -independent mechanisms of p73-induced apoptosis.

본 연구에서는 방사성폐기물의 처분을 위한 지하암반공동의 구조거동을 파악하기 위하여 암반내에 존재하는 불연속면의 영향을 고려하면서 지진하중에 대한 지하암반공동의 구조거동을 검토하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 불연속암반체의 수치해석모델에 대한 비교분석을 수행하였으며, 자하암반공동의 동적구조해석을 위한 합리적인 해석모델을 제시하였다. 그리고 개별요소법을 이용한 불연속암반체의 동적구조해석 프로그램을 사용하여 불연속암반체에 굴착된 가상의 지하공동에 대한 공동구조해석을 수행하였다.

Melanin has been a widely researched pigment by scientists for decades as it is undoubtedly the most ubiquitous and ancient pigment found in nature. Melanin plays very signifcant roles in structural plumage colors in birds: it has visible light-absorbing capabilities, and nanoscale structures can be formed by self-assembling melanin granules. Herein, we review recent progress on melanin-based structural coloration research. We hope that this review will provide current understanding of melanin's structural and optical properties, natural coloration mechanisms, and biomimetic methods to implement artifcial melanin-based structural colors.

The field of structural fire engineering has evolved within the construction industry, driven largely by the acceptance of performance-based or goal-based design. This evolution has brought two disciplines very close together - that of structural engineering and fire engineering. This paper presents an overview of structural systems that are frequently adopted in tall building design; typical beams and columns, concrete filled steel tube columns and long span beams with web openings. It is shown that these structural members require a structural analysis in relation to their temperature evolution and failure modes to determine adequate thermal protection for a given fire resistance period. When this is accounted for, a more explicit understanding of the behaviour of the structure and significant cost savings can be achieved. This paper demonstrates the importance of structural fire assessments in the context of tall building design. It is shown that structural engineers are more than capable of assessing structural capacity in the event of fire using published methodologies. Rather than assumed performance, this approach can result in a safe and quantified design in the event of a fire.

The purpose of this study was to measure the causal relationships among food involvement, health, mood, convenience, sensory appeal, weight control, and fruit consumption. A total of 290 questionnaires were completed. A structural equation model was used to measure the causal effects of the constructs, and the structural analysis results for the data indicated an excellent model fit. The effects of food involvement on health, mood, convenience, sensory appeal, weight control, and fruit consumption were statistically significant. As expected, health, mood, and weight control had significant effects on fruit consumption. Moreover, food involvement had a significant indirect effect on fruit consumption through health, mood, convenience, sensory appeal and weight control. For the future development and testing of conceptual models that integrate the relationships among personality traits, food choice motives, and fruit consumption, this study may approach a deeper understanding of the complex relationships among fruit consumption behavior-related variables. Greater understanding of these complex relationships can improve the managerial diagnosis of the problem and opportunities for different marketing strategies, including fruit production and fruit product development and marketing communications.
