It is well known that for a Krull domain R, the divisor class group of R is a torsion group if and only if every subintersection of R is a ring of quotients. Thus a natural question is that under what conditions, for a non-Krull domain R, every (t-)subintersection (resp., t-linked overring) of R is a ring of quotients or every (t-)subintersection (resp., t-linked overring) of R is at. To address this question, we introduce the notions of *-compact packedness and *-coprime packedness of (an ideal of) an integral domain R for a star operation * of finite character, mainly t or w. We also investigate the t-theoretic analogues of related results in the literature.

We studied the dependence of the performance of schottky barrier metal-oxide-field effect transistors(SB MOSFETs) on the work function of source/drain metals. A strong impact of the various work functions and the light wavelengths on the transistor characteristics is found and explained using experimental data. We used an insulator of a high thickness (100nm) and back gate issues in SOI substrate, subthreshold swing was measured to 300~400[mV/dec] comparing with a ideal subthreshold swing of 60[mV/dec]. Excellent characteristics of Al/Si was demonstrated higher on/off current ratios of ${\sim}10^7$ than others. In addition, extensive photoresponse analysis has been performed using halogen and deuterium light sources(200<$\lambda$<2000nm).

In a number of earlier papers the study of the structure of semigroups has been approached by means of right congruences. Such n approach seems appropriate since a right congruence is one of the possible analogs of both the right ideal of a ring and the subgroup in a group. Each of these substructures plays a strong role in the study of the structure of their respective systems. in both the ring and the group the internal direct product is nat-urally and effectively defined. however what such an internal direct product should be for two right congruences of a semigroup is not so clear. In this paper we will offer a possible definition and consider some of the consequences of it. We will also extend some of these results to automata.

The story treats each individual's vision as well as social reality that the author intends to describe. The purpose of this article is to search for the conflict between vision and reality, especially in feminist problem that critics have treated on the works of women writers. Though some articles have studied on the issue similar to this article, I try to analyze the narratives in the text that the author herself confesses to us. I think that we can find out clear messages from the individuals who construct the human relationship and build up their personal history through their dialogue or monologue. We can also catch their main problems in the community. I discuss the topic by mentioning the detailed discourses referred to the heroine and other characters in the text. The passages mentioned by the characters in the story may be a confession for the present and future generation that the author tries to confess. From the excerpts of some discourse, I can conclude that though Dorothea has a vision for her ideal, she is a failed feminist, for society is too strong for her as Miller (1990) argues.

The following statements for an infra-Krull domain $R$ are shown to be equivalent: (1) $R$ is a Krull domain; (2) for any essentially finite $w$-module $M$ over $R$, the torsion submodule $t(M)$ of $M$ is a direct summand of $M$; (3) for any essentially finite $w$-module $M$ over $R$, $t(M){\cap}pM=pt(M)$, for all maximal $w$-ideal $p$ of $R$; (4) $R$ satisfies the $w$-radical formula; (5) the $R$-module $R{\oplus}R$ satisfies the $w$-radical formula.

We perform numerical experiments on supernova-driven turbulent flows in order to see whether or not supernovae playa major role in driving turbulence in the interstellar medium. In a $(200pc)^3$ computational box, we set up, as initial conditions, uniformly magnetized gas distributions with different pairs of hydrogen number densities and magnetic field strengths, which cover the observed values in the Galactic midplane. We then explode supernovae at randomly chosen positions at a Galactic explosion rate and follow up the evolution of the supernova-driven turbulent flows by integrating numerically the ideal MHD equations with cooling and heating terms. From the numerical experiments we find that the density-weighted velocity dispersions of the flows are in the range of 5-10 km $s^{-l}$, which are consistent with the observed velocity dispersions of cold and warm neutral media. Additionally, we find that strong compressible flows driven by supernova explosions quickly change into solenoidal flows.

Estimation of blasting behavior of explosives is prerequisite in the numerical analysis of blasting works. In this study, blasting pressure is estimated by the finite difference method using the Flux-Corrected Transport Algorithm. To formulate the behavior of blasting gas, the mass conservation equation, the moment conservation equation, the energy conservation equation and the ideal gas state equation are used. The simplified species conservation equation is included to simulate the behavior of reacting explosives. To verify the calculation, the Sod's shock tube problem, the strong shock problem and the reacting problem we used. Numerical results show that the shock wave can be captured by means of the FCT algorithm in the reacting and nonreacting states.

In this study, we first define user requirements to fulfill the reconnaissance and the search missions, by analyzing the system characteristics and operation environment. By investigating the design technology level, the development and procurement costs, the strong system design concepts and possible alternatives will be proposed. To analyze the system requirements, the Quality Function Deployment of the systems engineering approach will be implemented. The promising design alternatives that satisfy the user requirements are extracted by constructing the Morphological Matrix, then the best design concept will be obtained using the Pugh Concept Selection Matrix and the TOPSIS(Technique of Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution).

The latest trend of our medical industry seems to have a raise on more expectation and interest in mystical therapeutics of herb medicine and its efficiency especially for the disease such as chronicity and other obstinacy that used to be impossibie to be cured with only Western medical treatment. potentiality of ideal medical treatment through interchanging of medical study between Eastern and Western is becoming an issue today. Herb medicine is our native ethnic medicine and is based on the friendly-nature and human oriented under one of the classification of natural medicine. The point of this medicine has a strong connection with the conceptional trait of Health-Care that is been newly paid a lot of attention in Western medical science. This 'Y'Oriental Medical Clinic Interior Design is to grant a new possibility of global recognition of herb medicine getting over from a limited ethnic medicine by correcting the existing problems and expanding its scope to a part of natural medicine and to newly establish its meaning as a space for Health-Care utilizing a concept of nature.

The term '健康(heathy condition)' does not appear in East Asian medical classics. Its root comes from the ancient word 'hal' which can be translated as 'hale', 'whole', 'sound in wind and limb', and it means 'the physical state is flawless, whole, satisfactory, and strong'. The Japanese translated it into the Chinese letters 건강 in the 19th century and this was spread during the Japanese occupation era. This study is an attempt to explore what "huangdineijing" (the most representative medical documents of East Asian medicine) mentions about healthy condition, which is as a term to express the body's ideal state and what other concepts exist that correspond to 健康.
