금속재료 표면층의 급격한 응력구배에 대한 X-Ray회절 특성값과 측정된 변형률의 해석방법 (Analysis Method of X-Ray Diffraction Characteristic Values and Measured Strain for Steep Stress Gradient of Metal Material Surface Layer)

  • The most comprehensive and particularly reliable method for non-destructively measuring the residual stress of the surface layer of metals is the sin2ψ method. When X-rays were used the relationship of εφψ-sin2ψ measured on the surface layer of the processing metal did not show linearity when the sin2ψ method was used. In this case, since the effective penetration depth changes according to the changing direction of the incident X-ray, σφ becomes a sin2ψ function. Since σφ cannot be used as a constant, the relationship in εφψ-sin2ψ cannot be linear. Therefore, in this paper, the orthogonal function method according to Warren's diffraction theory and the basic profile of normal distribution were synthesized, and the X-ray diffraction profile was calculated and reviewed when there was a linear strain (stress) gradient on the surface. When there is a strain gradient, the X-ray diffraction profile becomes asymmetric, and as a result, the peak position, the position of half-maximum, and the centroid position show different values. The difference between the peak position and the centroid position appeared more clearly as the strain (stress) gradient became larger, and the basic profile width was smaller. The weighted average strain enables stress analysis when there is a strain (stress) gradient, based on the strain value corresponding to the centroid position of the diffracted X-rays. At the 1/5 Imax max height of X-ray diffraction, the position where the diffracted X-ray is divided into two by drawing a straight line parallel to the background, corresponds approximately to the centroid position.

금형두께에 대한 1차 구조해석 결과를 기반으로 한 2차 최적화 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Secondary Optimization Analysis based on the Result of Primary Structure Analysis for the Die Thickness)

  • 기존의 구조해석은 탄성해석을 일반적으로 실무에서 주축으로 해왔다. 때문에 보다 정밀한 해석을 위하여 재료와 기하학적인 비선형을 고려한 해석의 필요성이 끊임없이 대두되어 왔다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 간단한 모델을 제작하여 비선형 원리를 적용한 최적화를 수행하여 기존의 구조해석의 경험자들은 누구나 용이하게 해석을 수행할 수 있는 이론과 방법을 제시하는데 있다. 본 연구에서 소개되는 모델은 금형 다이리브에 적용될 수 있도록 전단하중에 대하여 충분한 강도로 Strain, Stress가 적게 발생하게 하여, 초기에는 Strain, Stress가 크기에 맞게 형상을 재구성하고 Hyperstudy와 Abaqus 연동에 의한 비선형으로 해석하고 제품에서 허용되는 최대, 최소 Stress 범위와 최소 Strain을 갖는 조건하에서 일정한 증가치를 만들게 하였다. 실험 모델에서 Plate 두께가 40 Newton의 힘으로 주어질 때 Iteration 처리로 금형 두께에 따른 Stress와 Strain에 대한 금형두께에 적용하고자 했을 때 7~8mm 두께가 최적화라는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.

타이어 고무배합물의 초탄성을 고려한 레이디얼 타이어의 팽창에 관한 유한요소해석 (F.E. Analysis of the Radial Tire Inflation Using the Hyperelastic Properties of Rubber Compounds Sampled from a Tire)

  • In this study, Mooney-Rivlin 1st model and Mooney-Rivlin 3rd model are adopted as strain energy density functions of the rubber compounds of a radial tire. It is shown that the FE analysis using Mooney-Rivlin models for rubber compounds may provide good approximations by employing the appropriate strain range of experimental stress-strain data in a way to describe the stress-strain relationship accurately. Especially, Mooney-Rivlin 3rd model gives an accurate stress-strain relationship regardless of the fitting strain range used within the strain of 100%. The static nonlinear FE analysis of a tire inflation is performed by employing an axisymmetric model, which shows that the outside shapes of the tire before and after inflating the tire agree well with those of the real tire. Additionally, the deformations at crown center and turning point on sidewall, distribution of belt cord force, interlaminar shear strain are predicted in terms of variation of belt cord angle which is known as the most influential factor in inflation behavior of a tire.

디젤기관용 Urea-SCR 시스템 펌프 기어에 관한 구조해석 (Structural Analysis of Pump Gear of Urea-SCR System for Diesel Engine)

  • This research was conducted structural analysis in order to analyze the impact of the gear in Urea pump when the water is frozen. Subject of study, gear was designed nine models, this gear is a spur gear, located in pump. Contact conditions and rotation conditions were set the gear's condition of restriction. Given 136 MPa pressure to external gear by water was set to the applied stress. The performing result of structural analysis, maximum stress and strain are appeared between two gears. At the same diameter, strain and stress are decreased gradually thicker. Because of the little part in crevice between gears, this parts of gears could be obtained conclusion to be generated maximum stress and strain.

조적요소의 인장응력-변형률 관계 평가 (Evaluation of Tensile Stress-strain Relationship of Masonry Elements)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide and evaluate the tensile properties of masonry element such as tensile strength, strain, modulus of elasticity and stress-strain relationship through the direct tension test with varies of mortar strength. From the experiment, the tension fracture was observed along the interfaces between the brick and the mortar. Tension properties of masonry element was significantly affected by compressive strength of mortar, $f_m$, indicating that higher tensile strength and modulus of elasticity of masonry element were obtained with increase of $f_m$. The strain of a masonry element was inversely proportional to $f_m$ due to the lower ductility of a higher mortar strength. A tensile stress-strain relationship of masonry element was generalized based on the numerical analysis and the regression analysis using test data. The proposed model shows fairly good agreement with the test measurements.

막구조물의 형상탐색 및 최적재단도 해석기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Form Finding and Optimal Cutting Pattern Analysis Technique of Membrane Structures)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 막구조물의 형상해석, 응력-변형 해석, 재단도 해석을 수행하는 것이고, 재료는 선형탄성, 응력은 평면응력의 상태로 가정한다. 케이블 및 막구조물은 외력에 대한 변형이 매우 큰 구조물이기 때문에 기하비선형을 고려한 비선형해석을 하여야 한다 해석은 일반적인 구조물과는 달리 다음의 3단계로 구성된다. 첫 번째 단계는 초기 평형형상을 결정하기 위한 형상해석이고, 두 번째 단계는 다양한 외력이 가해졌을 때 구조물의 거동을 파악하는 응력-변형 해석이다. 이렇게 하여 일단 만족된 형상이 얻어지면 형상해석에서 얻은 결과를 기초로 하여 시공적 관점의 재단도 해석이 수행된다. 본 논문에서는 서귀포 월드컵 축구 경기장 지붕 구조물의 예를 들어 형상해석, 응력-변형 해석, 재단도 해석을 수행하고, 카테노이드(Catenoid) 구조물을 이용하여 최적재단도에 관한 해석기법을 제시한다.

굽힘 하중 하에서 굴곡진 보강섬유를 가진 두꺼운 복합재료 보의 응력 분포 해석 (Stress and Strain Analyses of Thick Composites with Fiber Waviness under Flexural Loading)

  • A FEA(finite element analysis model) was proposed to study stress and strain distributions in thick composites with fiber waviness and initial curvature under flexural loading. Three types of model with initial curvature were considered in this study: flat, concave and concave models. In the analysis, both material and geometrical nonlinearities were incorporated. Four point flexural tests were conducted on the flat specimens to obtain the flexural behavior of thick composites experimentally. It was concluded that the predictions from the models were in good agreement with the experimental results. It was shown that the stress and strain distributions as well as nonlinear flexural behaviors of thick composites were significantly affected by the fiber waviness and initial curvature.

  • The analysis model is the infinite power law creep material containing the rigid inclusion with crack shape. The present analysis is performed using the complex pseudo-stress function method. The strain rate intensity factor is developed as new fracture mechanics parameter which represents the stress and strain rate distribution near a crack tip in power law creep material. The strain rate intensity factor is developed in terms of Kolosoff stress functions.

열간 판재단조시 강괴 내부의 기공폐쇄에 관한 연구 (Study on Internal Void Closure in Slab ingot during Hot Plate Forging)

  • In order to investigate the effect of pre-cooling of ingot on void closure in hot plate forging the internal strain and stress distributions are examined quantitatively by using ABAQUS. Simula-tions are carried out on a large slab ingot having the same temperature and the temperature gradient induced by air-cooling. It is shown that pre-cooling produces little effect on the strain behavior but remarkable effect on the hydrostatic stress at the central zone of ingot. The main factors for crushing micro-voids are the effective strain and the time integral of hydrostatic stress in the region surrounding the voids. Based on regression analysis it was found that the distortion of void can be expressed as a polynomial function of the two factors.

  • This paper presents the newly developed model for the stress-strain relationship of ultra high- strength concrete on the basis of the more refined statistical to analysis the various test results available in the literature to be more rigorous in accuracy and generalized scheme. Through the comprehensive analysis of the previously existing equations for each model, multiple curves equation has turned out to be most appropriate to simulate the linearly varying ascending branch and brittle type of descending one. The principal variables to model the stress-strain relationship such as the modulus of elasticity, ultimate strain and deformation characteristics due to stress softening phenomenon were extensively studied to be simplified in the function of the concrete compressive strength.
