  • Through USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) is collected the patient's vital information in real-time, also information collected will be stored in the DB (Date Base), frequent use hospital saved patient's vital information for DB. Stored in the patient's vital medical information stored in the patients with frequent hospital patient to hospital if the patient's vital information is stored in DB. But, stored location is within hospital server or stored in a PC environment, because If utilize other Hospital existing hospitals will need to request. However, Existing hospital have problem for security, authentication, management, cost, manpower, such as, because other hospitals and the exchange of information does not come easily. So, If has the advantage of the patient and the patient's vital information is stored on mobile devices that you can use as DB. It is important to find information quickly and accurately, in this study, Is A study on mobile circulation loop DB systems for patient-centered serbices.

Changes in Physicochemical Components of Stewed Pumpkin Juice Heated and Stored under Different Conditions (가열 및 저장조건에 따른 호박즙의 이화학적 성분변화)

  • This study was designed to determine the most suitable manufacturing conditions of stewed pumpkin juice(SPJ) in terms of nutrition and taste. Well ripened pumpkin was heated for 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 hours in a pressure cooker and then extracted and packed in retort pouches. These were kept at 4$^{\circ}C$ and 28$^{\circ}C$ for 30 days, respectively and changes of the physicochemical components of SPJ were investigated. The free amino acid compositions of pumpkin and SPJ occupied asparagine, aspartic acid, glutamine, arginine and serine in increasing order of abundance. Except SPJ heated for 3 hours, SPJ stored at 28$^{\circ}C$ had the most abundant free amino acids, followed by SPJ stored at 4$^{\circ}C$, and SPJ not stored. The fatty acid composition of pumpkin occupied behenic acid, erucic acid, palmitic acid, linoleic acid, heneicosanoic aicd, in order of abundance. When SPJ was heated over 3 hours, palmitic acid and linolenic acid decreased greatly. SPJ stored at 4$^{\circ}C$ and 28$^{\circ}C$ increased contents of saturated fatty acids such as behenic acid, palmitic acid than SPJ not stored. As SPJ was heated for a long time, carotenoid was mostly destroyed and the Hunter "L", "a" and "b" values of SPJ decreased. Among the mineral constituents of SPJ, Na and Ca were dominantly occupied. It was found that the range of the total visible cell count was 3~4CFU/ml from the SPJ which was heated for 3 hours and it increased by 1$\times$109CFU/ml when the SPJ was stored at 28$^{\circ}C$. It seems that the contamination by microorganism have occurred at packing process. In sensory evaluation, the SPJ which was heated for 5 hours had the highest scores in overall preference, sweet smell and sweetness.ce, sweet smell and sweetness.

  • This paper presents a heuristic algorithm for classifying vehicles using a single loop detector. The data used for the development of the algorithm are the frequency variation of a vehicle sensored from the circle-shaped loop detectors which are normal buried beneath the expressway. The pre-processing of data is required for the development of the algorithm that actually consists of two parts. One is both normalization of occupancy time and that with frequency variation, the other is finding of an adaptable number of sample size for each vehicle category and calculation of average value of normalized frequencies along with occupancy time that will be stored for comparison. Then, detected values are compared with those stored data to locate the most fitted pattern. After the normalization process, we developed some frameworks for comparison schemes. The fitted scales used were 10 and 15 frames in occupancy time(X-axis) and 10 and 15 frames in frequency variation (Y-axis). A combination of X-Y 10-15 frame turned out to be the most efficient scale of normalization producing 96 percent correct classification rate for six types of vehicle.

Effects of Heating Time and Storage Temperature on the Oxidative Stability of Heated Palm Oil (가열시간과 저장온도가 가열팜유의 산화안정성에 미치는 영향)

  • Effects of heating time and storage temperature on the oxidative stability of heated palm oil were studied. Palm oil was heated at $150^{\circ}C$ for 0, 1, 10 or 20 min and stored at 4, 20 or $65^{\circ}C$. The oxidative stability of the sample was evaluated by determining peroxide value of the oil and measuring the volatiles in the headspace of the sample. Significant difference in the peroxide or volatile formation was observed (p<0.05) in heated palm oils between samples stored at 4 or $20^{\circ}C$ and those stored at $65^{\circ}C$. Pentane, hexanal, heptane and total volatiles increased with heating time, while storage temperature did not significantly affect their formation, indicating that heating time played more important role in volatile formation in the heated palm oil than storage temperature. However, adverse results were observed for the formation of peroxide. The interaction effect of heating time and storage temperature on the oxidative stability of heated palm oil was also observed.

Effect of Storage Media and Duration on Pulpal Cell Viability in Exfoliated Deciduous Teeth (탈락 유치 내 치수 세포의 보관 용액과 기간에 따른 생존)

  • If it is possible to preserve and culture cells from exfoliated deciduous teeth in a readily available storage medium within each family, more stem cells would be obtained. This research is about the effect of storage media and time on pulpal cell viability of exfoliated deciduous teeth. 330 exfoliated deciduous teeth were randomly divided into 11 groups; fresh group, dry group, groups stored in cell culture medium (2, 4, 7 days each), in milk (2, 4, 7 days each), and in saline (2, 4, 7 days each). Primary culture of pulpal cells was conducted in each group and the success rates were compared by calculating the number of teeth with viable cells. The result of primary culture shows that the success rate decreases as the time of storage gets longer. There was no statistical difference between groups stored in the cell culture medium, milk, and saline for 2 and 4 days. However, the groups stored in milk and saline for 7 days showed dramatic decrease in success rate compared to the group stored in the cell culture medium. In conclusion, exfoliated or extracted deciduous teeth can be used to culture pulpal cells when they are stored in milk and saline for a certain period of time; however obtaining viable pulpal cells becomes harder as the storage time gets longer.

Prediction of the Freshness for Soybean Curd by the Electronic Nose in the Fluctuating Temperature Condition

  • Freshness of stored soybean curd as sensitivity ($R_{gas}/R_{air}$) was evaluated at 48-50 hr intervals using electronic nose at regular sequential square-wave temperatures between $4\;-\;10^{\circ}C$. Obtained kinetic data from apparent first principal component score $(PC1)_{app}$ and storage time were used for prediction of freshness. Percentage difference between predicted and actual values of stored soybean curd was less than 8.9% under fluctuating temperature condition.

  • In this paper, we propose a hybrid optical/digital version of the associative memory which improve hardware efficiency and increase convergence rates. Multifocus hololens are used as space-varient optical element for performing inner product and summation function. The real-time input and the stored states of memory matrix is formated using LCTV. One method of adaptively changing the weights of stored vectors during each iteration is implemented electronically. A design for a optical implementation scheme is discussed and the proposed architecture is demonstrated the ability of retrieving with computer simmulation.

Effects of Storage Buffer and Temperature on the Integrity of Human DNA

  • In this study, we have examined the effects of the storage time and temperature on DNA quality and have also studied the effects of the hydration buffer in which DNA is dissolved. This study was performed using 160 human blood samples collected with informed consent from 2007 to 2008 in the hospital where this cohort study was performed. The DNA extracted was dissolved using distilled water (DW) or Tris-EDTA (TE) buffer, and stored in the deep freezer or refrigerator for up to 10 weeks at $-70^{\circ}C$, $-20^{\circ}C$, $4^{\circ}C$, and $25^{\circ}C$, respectively. DNA integrity was determined by the degree of smearing of DNA on the gel. After four weeks, all of the 20 DNA samples dissolved in DW and stored at $25^{\circ}C$ were entirely degraded. After 10 weeks, 6 of the 20 DNA samples dissolved in TE buffer and stored at $25^{\circ}C$ were fairly degraded, and 4 of the 20 DNA samples dissolved in DW and stored at $4^{\circ}C$ were fairly degraded. The 20 DNA samples dissolved in TE buffer and stored at $4^{\circ}C$ were stable for 10 weeks. DNA samples stored at $-20^{\circ}C$ and $-70^{\circ}C$ did not appear to degrade in either DW or TE buffer, even at the 10-week point. We suggest that TE buffer should use for DNA elution, in order to protect against degradation and to preserve DNA for a long period of time, and the samples should be stored at $-20^{\circ}C$ or $-70^{\circ}C$.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this pilot study was to investigate a potential of platelet concentrate obtained from blood bank(PCBB) in accelerating wound healing and to determine an effective treatment protocol by quantifying levels of platelet derived growth factor (PDGF)-BB in PCBB in vitro. Methods: The first study was designed to investigate quantity of PDGF-BB over stored time of the PCBB. The stored times for each PCBB were 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 days. The second study was designed to determine efficacy of adding thrombin to stimulate release of PDGF-BB from the platelets of PCBB. The platelets were suspended and incubated in either with or without thrombin. On 30 minutes and days 1, 3, 5, 7 after incubation, the levels of PDGF-BB were measured. Results: PDGF-BB level showed a linear decrease over stored time of PCBB from the first day to the 13th day. Addition of thrombin increased PDGF-BB release from 30 minute through the 5th day. Conclusion: The results indicate that PCBB can provide sufficient amount of growth factors to stimulate wound healing and adding thrombin accelerate it.
