In order to seek the molecular basis of higher insecticidal activity of the carbamates with two methyl groups, m-xylyl-N-methylcarbamate(MXNMC) than the corresponding unsubstituted phenyl N-methylcarbamate(PNMC), these two derivatives have been studied by molecular orbital(MO) theoretically using extended $H\ddot{u}ckel$ theory(EHT), and analysis of regression and linear free energy relationship(LFER). The most stable stereo structure(Z, Z) shows that the phenyl group occupies vertical(${\theta}=90^{\circ}$) position on the plane of the N-methylcarbamyl group. Regression analysis shows that especially good correlation exists between the $pI_{50}$ values and the calculated MO quantities when the hydrogen atomic charge of metaposition and of m-methyl groups, and LUMO energy are taken as variables. The LFER analysis on the carbamylation indicates that field(F) effect(60%) is slightly larger than resonance(R) effect(40%) in PNMC(E>R), whereas, in case of MXNMC, R effect(98.6%) is much larger than F effect(1.4%)($R{\gg}F$). From the basis on the findings, the enhancement of insecticidal activity of MXNMC may be the result of hyperconjugation by m-methyl groups.

Spatial information could be obtained from spaceborne high resolution optical and synthetic aperture radar(SAR) images. However, some satellite images do not provide physical sensor information instead, rational polynomial coefficients(RPC) are available. The objectives of this study are: (1) 3-dimensional ground coordinates were computed by applying rational function model(RFM) with the RPC for the stereo pair of Ikonos images and their accuracy was evaluated. (2) Interferometric SAR(InSAR) was applied to JERS-1 images to generate DEM and its accuracy was analysis. (3) Quality of the DEM generated automatically also analyzed for different types of terrain in the study site. The overall accuracy was evaluated by comparing with GPS surveying data. The height offset in the RPC was corrected by estimating bias. In consequence, the accuracy was improved. Accuracy of the DEMs generated from InSAR with different selection of GCP was analyzed. In case of the Ikonos images, the results show that the overall RMSE was 0.23327", 0.l1625" and 13.70m in latitude, longitude and height, respectively. The height accuracy was improved after correcting the height offset in the RPC. i.e., RMSE of the height was 1.02m. As for the SAR image, RMSE of the height was 10.50m with optimal selection of GCP. For the different terrain types, the RMSE of the height for urban, forest and flat area was 23.65m, 8.54m, 0.99m, respectively for Ikonos image while the corresponding RMSE was 13.82m, 18.34m, 10.88m, respectively lot SAR image.

Three-dimensional landscape map is very useful in terrain analysis as it looks like real shape of terrain. When three-dimensional landscape map is needed, landscape photos achieved at a position of high elevation or by airplane are generally used. But, this approach can not fully satisfy the user's need to get pictures from various view points. In addition, because photos have some geometric displacement caused by the principle of central projection of camera, it is hard to get accurate locations from the photo. This paper aims to get three-dimensional landscape map similar to real terrain feature from vertical stereo aerial photos by digital photogrammetric techniques. This approach can provide a very useful data for three-dimensional terrain analysis as a function of Geo-Spatial Information System.

The purpose of this study was to examine stereotype of gender role in music video, comparing of gender image, sexuality(body exposure & sexual expression) by genre and gender difference. A content analysis of 300 songs and 517 characters was conducted between 2004 and 2013. Results were including followings. While women engaged in classic image, man engaged in naive image. R&B and Ballad demonstrated more classic image of women. Ballad, R&B, and Rock demonstrated more naive image of men than other genre. Sexuality was more prominent in dance and hip-hop genre. Compared to male character, female character was more sexually objectified, held to exposer herself and more likely to demonstrated sexually alluring behavior.

The Electro-Optical Camera (EOC) is a high spatial resolution, visible imaging sensor which collects visible image data of the earth's sunlit surface and is the primary payload on KOMPSAT-l. The purpose of the EOC payload is to provide high resolution visible imagery data to support cartography of the Korean Peninsula. The EOC is a push broom-scanned sensor which incorporates a single nadir looking telescope. At the nominal altitude of 685Km with the spacecraft in a nadir pointing attitude, the EOC collects data with a ground sample distance of approximately 6.6 meters and a swath width of around 17Km. The EOC is designed to operate with a duty cycle of up to 2 minutes (contiguous) per orbit over the mission lifetime of 3 years with the functions of programmable gain/offset. The EOC has no pointing mechanism of its own. EOC pointing is accomplished by right and left rolling of the spacecraft, as needed. Under nominal operating conditions, the spacecraft can be rolled to an angle in the range from +/- 15 to 30 degrees to support the collection of stereo data. In this paper, the status of EOC such as temperature, dark calibration, cover operation and thermal control is checked and analyzed by continuously monitored state of health (SOH) data and image data during the mission life of 3 years. The aliveness of EOC and operation continuation beyond mission life is confirmed by the results of the analysis.

The aim of the present study was to compare the contrast sensitivity of soft contact lens wearers, spectacle wearers or emmetropia. Seventy myopic eyes and thirty emmetropic eyes aged 19 to 26 years were collected. The myopic group included 48 eyes corrected with spectacle lenses and 22 eyes of them corrected with contact lenses, too: all had corrected vision acuity of 20/20 or better. Spatial contrast sensitivity was measured using the OPTEC 6500 contrast sensitivity view-in tester included the EyeView　 Functional Vision Analysis software at photopic or mesoopic condition. There was no significant difference in contrast sensitivity between spectacle lenses and emmetropes. Myopes corrected with soft contact lenses showed statistical sensitivity losses at 1.5, 12 cycle/degree spatial frequencies. In conclusion, our findings suggest that loss of contrast sensitivity in soft contact lens wearers might be interpreted as evidence for corneal disruption before corneal pathological events occur in contact lens wearers. Contrast sensitivity testing appears to be a useful method for evaluating soft contact lenses.

This study conducted pilot mapping project to know the possibility of mapping with medium resolution satellite imageries. For this purpose, mapping experiments were conducted with each stereo model imageries of SPOT, KOMPSAT, and IRS- lC. And positional accuracy, analysis of detectable and describable features, and comparison with existing digital map were checked, possible mapping scale and cost analysis were conducted with these results. Regarding SPOT imagery, digital photogrammetric workstation was used for stereoplotting. Regarding KOMPSAT and IRS-lC imageries, because there were data format support problems. head-up digitizing was performed with ortho imageries rectified with DEMs generated by image matching. The results of experiments show that such features as wide road, river, coast line, etc are possible to detect and depict but many other features are not for SPOT, KOMPSAT, and IRS-lC imageries. On the aspect of mapping, therefore, SPOT is available for 1/50,000 topographic map revision, KOMPSAT and IRS-lC for 1/25.000 topographic map revision.

In generating DTM as basic data to GIS, the use of existing map is difficult to aquire current data and the method using airphotos needs cost for stereoplotting and ground control surveying. So, the method of DTM generation by satellite imagery is promising because satellite is able to observe wide area at once. In this study the program for SPOT bundle adjustment and image matching based on Coarse to Fine method is developed and various image enhancement algorithm is used for more accurate DTM generation and also evaluation of accuracy was carried out. Further more, orthophoto, a bird's eye-view, contour map producing, net-work analysis and terrain analysis were performed for GIS applications using generated DTM in this study. Generated DTM using SPOT stereo imagery is useful for GIS applications such as automated mapping, facility management, national geographic information system. Moreover developed automatic DTM generation pro-gram is studied, tested and verified more to be applicable to all the area.

In this paper, we analyzed the fire hazard of the ballast for fluorescent lamp used as the indoor lighting. In the result of being analyzed the ballast wire by stereo microscope, many melting points were discovered, it was impossible to judge a cause with the naked eye. In the Thermal-deteriorated ballast wire, elongation structure disappeared at above $700^{\circ}$, and it only showed the enlarged appearance of the copper particle. On the metallurgical microscope of short wire, as it was confirmed the regulation of the columnar structure and the void growth at the center of boundary-face, we found that electrical short-circuit generated. Also, it was confirmed the melted part on the analysis using SEM(scanning electron microscope). Not only CuL and Cuk line that is composition factor of copper but also OK line was observed uniformly on the spectra analysis using EDX(energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy). It means that oxygen took part in reaction at the recombination process.

Most terrain information have been generally acquired by map. Because the map presents the real terrain, not by real figure but by contours, geometric figures, symbols, texts, and colors, it is not easy to interpret the real terrain by map. For this reason, aerial photos or terrestrial photos also have been used sometimes in the terrain analysis. But photos have geometrical displacement caused by the position of camera at the exposition time and the relief of the object. So, for accurate posional analysis, orthophoto maps produced by optical rectifier have been used. But, it is hard to produce orthophoto map by optical rectifier and the process is so slow. This study aims to present an accurate and rapid method to produce orthophoto map by generating digital elevation model from stereo aerial photos on common computer using the digital photogrammetric technique and producing orthophoto map digitally using the digital elevation model.
