The effects of geographical and climatic factors on annual and monthly pan and Penman evaporation were analyzed. 52 climatological stations were selected and trend analyses were performed. Furthermore, cluster analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were performed to understand the effects of geographical and climatic factors on pan and Penman evaporation. Based on stepwise multiple linear regression analysis, annual pan evaporation is proved to be mainly controlled by urbanization as geographical factor, and annual pan evaporation is also controlled by temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and solar radiation as climatic factor. Especially wind speed is considered to be most significant climatic factor which affects pan evaporation. Meanwhile, Penman evaporation is not affected by geographical factors but it is affected by climate factors such as temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and solar radiation except precipitation. Furthermore, the study results show that only proximity to coast affects pan evaporation trend on July; however, geographical and climatic factors do not affect pan evaporation trends in annual basis and monthly basis (January, April, and October). On the other hand, Penman evaporation trends were not affected by geographical factors in annual and monthly basises.

The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of emotional bond in the effect of the congruence of self-image and the team's loyalty to professional baseball spectators, to enhance the effectiveness of emotional bond between the club and the spectator, and to suggest implications for establishing the club's brand marketing strategy. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 500 professional baseball spectators, and the results of correlation analysis, stepwise regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS 21.0 based on 450 collected data are as follows. First, among the professional baseball spectators and the team's self-image, the realistic self-image factor had a significant effect on the club's loyalty. Second, it was confirmed that the congruence of realistic self-image moderated the effect of congruence of realistic self-image on club loyalty. This result shows that the formation of emotional bond has no influence on the congruence of ideal self-image and is related to the realistic self-image that the club is showing at present. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a marketing strategy that can highlight this effect by considering these points.
The purpose of this study was to search the clustering and variables in discriminating the groups by the level of the loss experience and ego-integrity among the elderly. In addition, the study aimed to confirm the moderating effects of variables related to resilience in the relationship between a loss experience and ego-integrity. The subjects were 245 elderly aged 60 or above, most of whom were socially active with comparatively high education levels. Six individual variables(physical self-efficacy, general self-efficacy, social self-efficacy, existential spirituality, religious spirituality, optimism) and five environmental variables(emotional support, instrumental support, informational support, appraisal support, social activity) were used in the study. The results of the study are as follows. To data analysis, ANOVA, Stepwise Discriminant analysis, Cluster analysis, Regression analysis and Two-way analysis of variance was employed. First, the subjects were 4 cluster into overcome group, crisis group, stable group and vulnerable group according to the level of loss experience and ego-integrity. Second, optimism, physical self-efficacy, existential spirituality and emotional support were seen to be significant variables in discriminating the groups. Third, the ego-integrity became higher as the variables related to resilience were increased.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the level of and factors influencing depression in community-dwelling, low-income elderly. Methods: A randomized sample of 306 subjects aged 65 and over was selected from one communities. in Korea. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaire, during the period from January to September, 2007. The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression with SPSS/Win program. Results: The prevalence of depression was 43.8%, the mean score of depression was 6.37. Depression of the elderly significantly correlated with education level, types of the health insurance, economic levels, smoking, hypertension, arthritis, incontinence, life satisfaction, perceived health status and cognitive function. Stepwise multiple regression analysis reveled that a combination of life satisfaction, cognitive function and health insurance accounted for 67.6% of depression in elderly. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that the approach to effective depression prevention and management program for community-dwelling elderly should consider life satisfaction, physical and mental health and economic levels.
In this study, in order to understand the social psychological characteristics of college male students majoring in beauty, PAI tests were conducted on 163 university students located in Gyeonggi-do and Chungnambuk area in 2020. First, when comparing the average scales of men who majored in beauty and men who majored in general, the major male students of beauty showed an overall high clinically recognized type compared to students who majored in beauty, and a negative impression on a valid scale (NIM) considered treatment for physical complaints (SOM), depression (DEP) and drinking problems (ALC) on a clinical scale, and a significant difference was shown on a suicide idea (SUI) scale. Secondly, in order to navigate the PAI scale that significantly predicts beauty major male students, a stepwise regression analysis was performed using 15 significant scales as search factors in comparison between beauty major male and general major male students. As a result, physical complaints (SOM) and depression (DEP) scales were extracted, which became a factor that can predict male students in beauty major. Therefore, it can be understood that the male students in the beauty major have behavior patterns that are more obsessed with and more impulsive to physical problems than the male majors. These results will provide a lot of suggestions for the selection of future male students in beauty major, selection, management, education, consultation materials, and selection of occupations after graduation.
The purpose of the study was to find out the effects of women's gender role attitudes on depression. We also studied self-esteem and family life satisfaction as mediating factors on depression. The data was from the National Welfare Panel Study of 2009 and the analyses were conducted on 3,791 women and 3,467 men aged from 20 to 59. Independent samples t-test and stepwise multiple regression analyses show significant gender differences on depression and gender role attitudes. Women score higher than men in depression and gender role attitudes. Those who have higher traditional gender role attitudes manifest higher score on depression. We also found out that self-esteem and family life satisfaction are the mediating factors for women's depression. As a result, gender role attitudes demonstrate direct and indirect effects on depression through mediation of self-esteem and family life satisfaction. Clinical implications are discussed to consider women's gender role attitudes, their self-esteem and family life satisfaction while consulting with depressed women.
The purpose of this study is propose performance indicators analysis and development plans for K University professional graduate school for the training of human resource professionals. Specifically, the main research includes the derivation of performance indicators for K University's professional graduate school, PR plan, academic establishment plan, name change, vision proposal, and curriculum improvement plan for each major. To this end, a survey was conducted on a total of 132 current and former students of K University's professional graduate school. FGI was also conducted with 29 participants. The results of the research are as follows. In the case of key performance indicators, 15 indicators were proposed, taking into account previous research, the characteristics of professional graduate school, surveys, and FGI surveys. Promotion should be continuous, not one-time, and the advantages and benefits of the graduate school should be actively informed to target customers. The proposed name of the professional association is the Korean Association for Employment and Vocational Competency Development. It was found that operating as a convergence society and focusing on convergence research were appropriate. The names of K University's professional graduate school were HR (Human Resources), HRD, and employment and vocational competency development graduate school. As for the vision, it was suggested that a balance between identity and differentiation is needed to flexibly respond to new changes while maintaining existing strengths. As for the proposed improvement of the curriculum by major, it is proposed to reform in a stepwise and gradual manner while maintaining the existing framework to some extent rather than being radical.
Ground-penetrating radar (GPR) surveys are commonly used to monitor embankments, which is a nondestructive geophysical method. The results of GPR surveys can be complex, depending on the situation, and data processing and interpretation are subject to expert experiences, potentially resulting in false detection. Additionally, this process is time-intensive. Consequently, various studies have been undertaken to detect cavities in GPR survey data using deep learning methods. Deep-learning-based approaches require abundant data for training, but GPR field survey data are often scarce due to cost and other factors constaining field studies. Therefore, in this study, a deep- learning-based model was developed for embankment GPR survey cavity detection using data augmentation strategies. A dataset was constructed by collecting survey data over several years from the same embankment. A you look only once (YOLO) model, commonly used in computer vision for object detection, was employed for this purpose. By comparing and analyzing various strategies, the optimal data augmentation approach was determined. After initial model development, a stepwise process was employed, including box clustering, transfer learning, self-ensemble, and model ensemble techniques, to enhance the final model performance. The model performance was evaluated, with the results demonstrating its effectiveness in detecting cavities in embankment GPR survey data.

The underground disposal facility for spent nuclear fuel demands a specialized design, distinct from conventional practices, to ensure long-term thermal, mechanical, and hydraulic integrity, preventing the release of radioactive isotopes from high-temperature spent nuclear fuel. SKB has established design criteria for such facilities and executed practical design implementations for Forsmark. Moreover, in response to subsurface uncertainty, SKB has proposed an empirical approach involving monitoring and adaptive design modifications, alongside stepwise development. SKB has further introduced a unique support system, categorizing ground types and behaviors and aligning them with corresponding support types to confirm safety through comparative analyses against existing systems. POSIVA has pursued a comparable approach, developing a support system for Onkalo while accounting for distinct geological characteristics compared to Forsmark. This demonstrates the potential for domestic implementation of spent nuclear fuel disposal facility designs and the establishment of a support system adapted to national attributes.
In the newly encountered economy caused by the Corona virus Disease-19, remote transaction becomes a new normal that disrupt traditional economic order. In the middle of the disruption, mobile tech is placed and remote finance on mobile is highly noticed and considered as an infra-tech to support the new ecology, In mobile finance. remote payment is becoming the most common service and personal identification on it is critical to operate the new service. There are various means of remotely identifying a person. Recently the use of biometric information is increasing. In this study, a correlation analysis was conducted on factors that effects to biometrics usage and the intention to use in remote personal identification. Variables for critical factor in the remote identification were classified into 4 groups such as Performance expectancy, Effort expectancy, Social influence, and Security. The empirical analysis based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) was conducted. The relationship between variables and the intention to use is also analyzed. In the study, stepwise regression analysis was conducted four times in which variables were adjusted in individual stage. As a result, the analysis suggests that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, security have positive effects for intention to use. Additionally, effort expectancy and security have moderating effects to intention to use depends on biometric authentication experience. The analysis has shown positive effect of variables grouped on the intention to use them. It also suggests that the intention to use biometric authentication will quickly grow. This study is expected to make a contribution to utilize and improve the use of biometric information in mobile payment.
