STATEMENT OF PROBLEM: While patient-centered outcomes are usually not reported, these may represent major aspects of the implant success for the patient. Use of a well-designed patient survey form can be an invaluable asset to the implant practitioners. PURPOSE: The objective of this study was to investigate patient satisfaction after implant therapy by means of a questionnaire. MATERIAL AND METHODS: South Korean patients (n = 100), who visited the dental examination center of Soon Chun Hyang university hospital, were asked to fill out the satisfaction questionnaire regarding aspects of cost, comfort, esthetics, chewing, gingival health, food impaction, phonetic aspect, screw loosening, and general satisfaction. Responses to statements were given on the Likert response scale. Four experimental groups of patients were distinguished with various location ($A_1,\;A_2,\;A_3$), year ($B_1,\;B_2,\;B_3$), number of implant replacements ($C_1,\;C_2,\;C_3$), and treatment cost ($D_1,\;D_2,\;D_3$). The reliability of the response scales was measured by calculation of its internal consistency, expressed as Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. The scales were distinguished by means of factor analysis method. Possible differences in scale scores among the groups were assessed by One-way ANOVA (${\alpha}$= 0.05). RESULTS: Patients responded to most of the statements with high satisfaction. But the mean scale score of statement about cost was low. After the verification of internal consistency and factor analysis, five components, e.g. general satisfaction, comfort, chewing efficiency, esthetics, and phonetic aspect were grouped together. These components could be explained with common meaning and the first factor was named as 'general satisfaction'. Differences in patient satisfaction on the scale with esthetics were present between patients who have been wearing the implant prosthesis less than three years and those more than seven years ($B_1<B_3$). CONCLUSION: The patients were generally satisfied with the outcome of implant treatment. But the patients' major complaint was high cost and while the statistically significant difference was not shown, the satisfaction scale about food impaction and esthetics was low. So the continuing efforts to make improvements about these problems are needed for the implant practitioners.

The purpose of this study is to try to structuralize the perception of the mothers of science-gifted elementary students using the concept mapping approach. The mothers who participated in this research had children who were 5th and 6th graders selected as science-gifted by a regional education office, a science high school and two national universities in a city. One of the authors interviewed 26 mothers, and extracted 50 general statements of their perceptions about the career path of their children. Ten mothers who participated in interviews sorted a shuffled pack of statement cards. The categorization of the statements into the dissimilarity matrix was carried out by SPSS multidimensional scaling analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis to generate a conceptual diagram. After that 140 mothers rated each statement using a Likert-type response scale from one to five. The result showed six clusters of parental views such as were 'Burden of private education, grades and going to the next grade,' 'Thinking about career guidance in gifted education and school,' 'Parental roles in child career education,' 'Difficulties in career guidance at home,' 'Demand for strengthening the parental capacity for career guidance,' and 'Demand for social support.' 'Demand for social support' obtained the highest sympathy from mothers of elementary science gifted.
Statement of problem. There were several studies on the effects of irradiation to peri-implant bone tissue. However, no clear biological effect of irradiation on peri-implant bone tissue was reported yet. Purpose. This study compared the effect of irradiation on the surrounding tissue of a HA-coated implant fixture with controls. Material and methods. 6 Steri-Oss implants were implanted into the femur of 6 mongrels. The implanted dogs were divided into three groups and received irradiation. After 1 month, 2months and 4 months healing period, the histologic examination and mobility test and digital radiographic imaging analyses were performed to compare the control and experimental group respectively. Results. The irradiated group showed slower healing than control group in light microscopic observations. The mobility test demonstrated significant less number (Periotest) in control group than that of irradiated groups. The digital radiographic imaging analysis showed that the bone density of irradiated group was higher than control group. Conclusion. Generally, control group showed favorable biological response and less mobility than irradiated group. The conflict result of bone density value were measured by the digital radiographic imaging analysis. The digital radiographic imaging analysis needs more research in future.

The purpose of this study was to develop improved strength of an arm and a boom on over-load environment, which causes damage in the initial design statement. To develop improved strength of an excavator front group, we calculated load conditions using the MATLAB program, and using these conditions, we performed a structural analysis of an excavator front group for the maximum digging force condition. Finally we performed a topology optimization to reduce weights of an arm and a boom, and we re-modeled an arm and a boom based on the topology design results and re-performed the structural analysis. The strength of the re-design is higher than the initial design but its weight is almost the same as the initial design.
The purposes of this study were to examine the financial statements and analyze the financial soundness of contract foodservice management companies(CFMC) using the financial ratio. The statistical data analysis was completed using Microsoft Excel(ver.2007) for the trend line equation and using SPSS Win(ver.18.0) for wilcoxon-rank sum test. Increased asset, debt, capital and sales occurred in most of the CFMCs, but the financial trend of firm D decreased for operating profit and net profit. The financial ratio for investigating a firm's financial soundness was based on liquidity, stability, profitability, activity, and growth through financial statements. Most of the CFMCs had maintained outstanding financial soundness from 1999 to 2011. The financial statements during the decade were verified and fluctuated. The directly affected CFMCs by a school foodservice' sanitation accident had maintained better financial statements than those of other CFMCs. Therefore, there was opportunity for directly affecting CFMCs involved in school foodservice' sanitation accident to diversify the business portfolio of the firms.

Topological Data Analysis (TDA), a relatively new field of data analysis, has proved very useful in a variety of applications. The main persistence tool from TDA is persistent homology in which data structure is examined at many scales. Representations of persistent homology include persistence barcodes and persistence diagrams, both of which are not straightforward to reconcile with traditional machine learning algorithms as they are sets of intervals or multisets. The problem of faithfully representing barcodes and persistent diagrams has been pursued along two main avenues: kernel methods and vectorizations. One vectorization is the Betti sequence, or Betti curve, derived from the persistence barcode. While the Betti sequence has been used in classification problems in various applications, to our knowledge, the stability of the sequence has never before been discussed. In this paper we show that the Betti sequence is unstable under the 1-Wasserstein metric with regards to small perturbations in the barcode from which it is calculated. In addition, we propose a novel stabilized version of the Betti sequence based on the Gaussian smoothing seen in the Stable Persistence Bag of Words for persistent homology. We then introduce the normalized cumulative Betti sequence and provide numerical examples that support the main statement of the paper.

An organized strategy was used, including finding, reviewing, and synthesizing earlier studies. Results: Based on the investigation of the current literature analysis, this study figured out four workable business models that might increase the prosperity of modern art museums. They result from a thorough examination of previous studies and these initiatives center on improving digital presence, enhancing community participation, diversifying revenue streams, and forming powerful alliances and partnerships. Conclusions: In sum, this study concludes that the use and integration of digital technology enable museums to reach a larger audience and open up opportunities for developing cutting-edge, interactive exhibitions that reflect modern patterns of participation and communication.
Most of social service agencies experiences the lack of funds. This situation is casued mainly from the lack of donor development techniques. Therefore, the social service agencies need to develope marketing strategies to develop donors. The study was begun with the idea that a business philosophy will not conflict with professionalism, and the two can be entirely compatible, and synergistic as well. Some of the main principles of marketing can be used to construct a model that will help the social service agency devise the appropriate plan for developing donors. The social service agency's marketing plan should begin with a statement of its mission and goals and the product suggested by each goal. Social marketing process to develop voluntary contributions include marketing environment analysis, market research, selecting marketing goals and objectives, market segmentation, marketing program development, and marketing action. These techniques can be used with some modifications at each social service agency.
As non-verbal communication medium, clothing has various form to express the artist's statement, for example, flattened clothing. On this thesis, three flattened clothing are analyzed, these works convey the meanings, 1) tradition/ contemporary 2) cynical attitude about body 9) new concept to wear
Public participation in the Environmental Impact Assessment(EIA) has been implemented since the August 1 of 1991 with the Environmental Policy Act promulgation in the August 1 of 1991. It is structured to comment on draft Environmental Impact Statement(EIS) through open reviewing, public meeting and hearing. Though public participation has an important role in determining environmental significance, it is room for improvement. With positive public participation and system development such as Environmental Impact Assessment Act on June 11 of 1993, the effectiveness of it will be improved. This article is composed of status of public participation, comparison with other countries, comparison analysis by items of EIS prepared before and after public participation, and contents of public opinions in EIS.
