  • This paper verifies the following two: First, I verify the standard completeness proof for the system $ULw_t$ is not correct in the sense that t-weakening uninorms are t-norms, but not weakening-free uninorms. Second, I verify that the proof for $ULw_t$ can be used for the system MTL. That is, I provide a new standard completeness proof for it.

  • This paper introduces a computerized version of the Korean Standard Pronunciation Rules that can be used in speech engineering systems such as Korean speech synthesis and recognition systems. For this purpose, we build Petri net models for each item of the Standard Pronunciation Rules, and then integrate them into the sound conversion table. The reversion of the Korean Standard Pronunciation Rules regulates the way of matching sounds into grammatically correct written characters. This paper presents not only the sound conversion table but also the character conversion table obtained by reversely converting the sound conversion table. Malting use of these tables, we have implemented a Korean character into a sound system and a Korean sound into the character conversion system, and tested them with various data sets reflecting all the items of the Standard Pronunciation Rules to verify the soundness and completeness of our tables. The test results show that the tables improve the process speed in addition to the soundness and completeness.

  • Fixed-point conjunctive left-continuous idempotent uninorms have been introduced (see e.g. [2, 3]). This paper studies a system for such uninorms. More exactly, one system obtainable from IUML (Involutive uninorm mingle logic) by dropping involution (INV), called here WUML (Weak Uninorm Mingle Logic), is first introduced. This is the system of fixed-point conjunctive left-continuous idempotent uninorms and their residua with weak negation. Algebraic structures corresponding to the system, i.e., WUML-algebras, are then defined, and algebraic completeness is provided for the system. Standard completeness is further established for WUML and IUML in an analogy to that of WNM (Weak nilpotent minimum logic) and NM (Nilpotent minimum logic) in [4].

  • This paper investigates weakening-free fuzzy logics with three weak forms of associativity (of multiplicative conjunction &). First, the wta-uninorm (based) logic $WA_tMUL$ and its two axiomatic extensions are introduced as weakening-free weakly associative fuzzy logics. The algebraic structures corresponding to the systems are then defined, and algebraic completeness results for them are provided. Next, standard completeness is established for $WA_tMUL$ and the two axiomatic extensions with an additional axiom using construction in the style of Jenei-Montagna.

  • This paper introduces computerized version of Hangout(Korean Language) Standard Pronunciation Rule that can be used in Korean processing systems such as Korean voice synthesis system and Korean voice recognition system. For this purpose, we build Petri net models for each items of the Standard Pronunciation Rule, and then integrate them into the vocal sound conversion table. The reversion of Hangul Standard Pronunciation Rule regulates the way of matching vocal sounds into grammatically correct written characters. This paper presents not only the vocal sound conversion table but also character conversion table obtained by reversely converting the vocal sound conversion table. Making use of these tables, we have implemented a Hangeul character into a vocal sound system and a Korean vocal sound into character conversion system, and tested them with various data sets reflecting all the items of the Standard Pronunciation Rule to verify the soundness and completeness of our tables. The test results shows that the tables improves the process speed in addition to the soundness and completeness.

  • A railway control system is one of the typical safety-critical systems. It is required to use formal methods for the requirements specification and verification in order to develop the global-standard railway control systems based on the computer systems. In this paper, we develop a guideline for requirements specification using formal methods, and present a case study of the development of a computer-based railway control system through the application of the proposed guideline. We use the Statechart and the Z method for the formal requirements specifications and verify the consistency and completeness of the formal specifications of the requirements.

  • The paper describes the new approaches to the automated analysis of curricula according to the higher education standard. The analysis process is proposed to carry out in two ways: (a) the analysis of completeness and sufficiency of curricula according to the standard of higher education; (b) the comparison of curricula of the same qualification and specialty. The problem of improving the quality of university students' training launches the process of monitoring and analyzing educational curricula and their correspondence to the higher education standard. We developed the rules and methods to compare curricula. In addition, we implemented the automated system of curricula comparison. The paper reveals the use of these methods based on the analysis of the curriculum bachelor level of higher education "Informatics", specialty "Computer science", at the Faculty of Computer Science and Cybernetics of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The findings put towards the idea that the implementation of developed methods as well as the automated system of curricula analysis will improve the educational services by higher education institutions.

  • Mediastinal lymph node dissection is an important part of lung cancer surgery that provides accurate nodal staging and may improve survival outcomes. The minimally invasive approach, such as video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) lobectomy for patients with non-small cell lung cancer, has become a standard operation worldwide. VATS mediastinal lymph node dissection should be thorough and accurate to ensure the completeness of lung cancer surgery. Herein, the author describes techniques for VATS mediastinal lymph node dissection.

  • This paper deals with Kripke-style semantics for weakening-free non-commutative fuzzy logics. As an example, we consider an algebraic Kripke-style semantics for an extension of the pseudo-uninorm based fuzzy logic HpsUL, $CnHpsUL^*$. For this, first, we recall the system $CnHpsUL^*$, define its corresponding algebraic structures $CnHpsUL^*$-algebras, and algebraic completeness results for it. We next introduce a Kripke-style semantics for $CnHpsUL^*$, and connect it with algebraic semantics.

  • DRM software should conform completeness, correctness and appropriateness for the related function to protect digital right properly. Therefore, the systematization of functionality evaluation method based on the related standard is essentially required. In this paper, based on the software quality standard, I intended to construct a model to measure the quality about functionality including suitability, accuracy and interoperability of DRM software. To this, we developed functional suitability evaluation model by analyzing infra-technology of DRM software and quality requirements about functional suitability. I think that through this study, functionality criteria to enhance the quality level of DRM software. Through the accumulation of future evaluation practices, it is necessary to improve the suitability and validity of the DRM software functional suitability evaluation model.
