The purpose of this study was to survey the use of a evaluation tools of clinical competency for nursing students. The sample consisted of the departments of nursing in 14 universities and 20 Junior colleges of nursing. Data analysis was done by frequency, percentages and factor analysis. The results of the study were as follows : 1. A common measurement tools for evaluation in the clinical area was used by 74.4% of universities and Junior colleges of nursing. Only 0-4.5% of Junior colleges of nursing and 1.5-7.4% of universities used a evaluation tools developed according to their major. 2. Theoretically, 3% of those sampled applied the nursing process as an instrumental means of nursing practice. Bloom's theory was applied by 35.8% of the schools. Most of them used their own measurement tools for evaluating their students. 3. One half of them used quantitative scales, the other half used others. 4. Professional attitudes wire included in their contents bvy 93.9% of universties and 94.1% of Junior colleges of nursing. The major areas of evaluation were knowledge, skills, attitudes and interpersonal relationships in that order. Results ; From this study can be concluded that regardless of the number of academic years of nursing and professional area, common standard evaluation tools for nursing competency were found to be needed. Theoretically, an evaluation scheme which applies the nursing process should be required. Knowledge, skill, attitude and interpersonal relationship would be essential elements to be evaluated. Maximizing the clinical competency and minimizing the conflict elements for nursing students is important. Nursing, education, students and environmental aspects must be consider in the goal of clinical education. A diagram, a checklist and a anecdote note in addition to the quantitative scale are necessary for efficient evaluation.
The building construction sector has been blamed as the main culprit of environmental contamination worldwide. So, there shall be some constructive alternatives in architectural engineering. As one of the alternatives, the LEED ("Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design") has been introduced since 1990s and has been well recognized in saving the resources and energy. "LEED" has also been introduced in Korea since 2002 but it has not put priority on the eco-friendliness of indoor space. In this study, the international and domestic green systems were analyzed and compared in order to restructure the checklist for indoor space. Using the restructured checklists, the questionnaire were sent to 180 people using 6 office buildings which passed the domestic "LEED" certification. LEED certification system put priority on the air quality and heating/cooling environment in its evaluation section and items. However, according to the results of the study, it was found that the people using the buildings were not satisfied enough with the air environment of buildings along with their other indoor environment items. This shows that even though the office buildings are designed according to the requirements of LEED, the buildings do not meet the occupier's needs. In addition, it showed that the evaluation items should be improved so that they are useful to enhance the satisfaction of the occupiers' needs. The paper could be useful in establishing standard for eco friendliness of indoor space of office buildings which pass the LEED certification as the basic data for increasing energy efficiency and working efficiency of occupiers of the buildings.

Objective : In posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), it is essential to evaluate the severity of trauma with a reliable instrument. The combat exposure scale (CES) is one of the most widely used measures for the combat-related trauma. The present study was conducted to test the reliability and validity of the Korean version of CES (CES-K). Methods : One hundred and forty-five male Korean veterans of the Vietnam War participated in this study. CES-K, the structured clinical interview for DSM-III-R (SCID), clinician administered PTSD scale (CAPS), and the Korean version life events checklist (LEC-K) were administered. Results : Cronbach's coefficient of CES-K was .85, and the test-retest reliability was .94. The mean [standard deviation (SD)] scores of CES-K were 20.4 (9.0) in the PTSD group and 12.0 (8.6) in the non-PTSD group (p<.001). CES-K showed a significant correlation with LEC-K (r=.31, p<.001) and CAPS (r=.52, p<.001). Only one factor was revealed by the factor analysis. Conclusion : CES-K showed good reliability and validity for assessing the severity of combat exposure. Further, it demonstrated comparable psychometric properties to the previous study. It is expected that CES-K will be a useful tool for evaluating the severity of combat exposure in Korea.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze the effects of neurofeedback training for reducing stress and enhancing self-regulation in late adolescence to identify the possibility of use for nursing intervention. Methods: A nonequivalent control group pre-post quasi-experimental design was used. Participants were 78 late adolescents assigned to the experimental group (n=39) that received the neurofeedback training and the control group (n=39). Data were collected on heart rate variability (HRV) and skin conductance level (SCL) to assess stress-biomarker response. The questionnaire contained 164 items from: Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS), Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R) and Self-regulatory Ability scale. The neurofeedback training was based on the general adaptation syndrome and body-mind medicine. The intervention was conducted in a total of 10 sessions for 30 minutes per session with high-beta, theta and sensory motor rhythm training on scalp at central zero. Results: There were significant difference in standard deviation of normal to normal interval (p=.036) in HRV and SCL (p=.029) of stress-biomarker response between the two groups. Negative affect (p=.036) in PANAS and obsessive compulsive (p=.023) and depression (p<.001) in SCL-90-R were statistically significant. Self-regulation mode (p=.004) in self-regulation ability scale showed a significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion: The results indicated that the neurofeedback training is effective in stress-biomarkers, psychoemotional stress response and self-regulation. Therefore, neurofeedback training using neuroscientific approach based on brain-mind-body model can be used as an effective nursing intervention for late adolescents in clinics and communities for effective stress responses.

This study was performed to identify the current status of work environment management and to provide appropriate recommendations for small scale industry with less than 5 workers from September, 2000 to October, 2000 in Seoul city and Gyoung-gi province. The 211 companies were surveyed by checklist included the elements of management of work environment, hazardous chemicals, MSDS, personal protective equipment, and ventilation system. The proportion of metal products manufacturing and printing industries are 25.6 % and 22.3%, respectively. The daily working hours in printing industry is longer than others. The industries that produce potentially hazardous agents, such as noise, dust, metal, organic solvents, radiation and chemical material are pulp, plating, machinery, and printing, respectively. In above industries, only 2.8 % of those recognised and had MSDS. The proportion of companies providing fire extinguishers, safety showers are found to be 13.3 %, 7.1 %, respectively. Only 24.2 % of companies provided personal protective equipment to the workers. The ventilation system was operated in most of companies. But local exhaust ventilation system is provided to 22.3 % of those, also had not been annually inspected. This study showed that the current status of occupational safety and health was not appropriate for workers in small scale industries. It is suggested that annual physical examination have to be performed, MSDS usage must become widespread, and employer and emplyees in small scale industry should be educated for the treatment and storage of hazardous chemicals to improve the occupational safety and health of the working environment. also, regulatory standard has to be applied to local exhaust ventilation system in small scale industry to improve the working condition.

It need estimation model who is efficient and estimate correctly organization's information security level to achieve effectively organization's information security target. Also, estimate class information security level for this and need reformable estimation indicator or standard and estimation methodology of information security systems that application is possible should be studied in our country. Therefore many research centers including ISO are preparing the measuring and evaluating method for network duality. This study will represent an evaluating model for network security based on checklist. In addition, we propose ah measuring and evaluating method for network performance. The purpose of two studies is to present the evaluating procedure and method for measuring security of network on set workwill be identified and a measuring method and procedure will be proposed.
The government announced that it would ask the contractors not only the supplier but also the contractors to take the same responsibilities if they did not observe industrial accident safety measures from 2019. The semiconductor manufacturing process belongs to the representative disaster industry group in which the facility is directly located inside a closed space called clean room. According to previous studies, the semiconductor industry group used checklists for safety management of their suppliers. This study has developed a model for assessing suppliers by constructing a quantitative checklist item through the risk assessment methodology, laws and regulations. The evaluation model of the supplier set up through this study becomes the safety management standard in the semiconductor industry. Furthermore, it is applied to the partner companies in the operation of ISO 14001, 45001, I would like to apply it as a measure of performance management for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

Objectives The purpose of this scoping review is to investigate the trends and gaps in existing research on neural mobilization in Korea and to suggest further directions for study. Methods A scoping review was sequentially conducted according to the five steps outlined by Arksey and O'Malley, and the PRISMA-ScR checklist. We searched five domestic databases (RISS, DBpia, KISS, ScienceON, and KMBASE) and identified relevant literature reported until April 15, 2021. The key search terms used were "Neural mobilization" and "Neurodynamic". Results Of the 1383 studies identified in the search, 50 were finally selected. Of these, 45 studies were in the field of medicine and pharmacy and physical therapy as the most common sub-field. Thirty-eight of the 50 studies (76%) were randomized controlled trials. Neural mobilization was most frequently used in the treatment of stroke (n = 13) and of various neuromusculoskeletal diseases such as cervical radiculopathy (n = 8) and low back pain (n = 5). The main targets of neural mobilization were the median nerve (n = 20) and sciatic nerve (n = 14). The most commonly used technique for neural mobilization was that developed by Butler and Jones in 1991 (n = 10). Conclusions This is the first scoping review of neural mobilization in Korea. We believe that further research on neural mobilization with other types of research design is necessary to investigate the utility of neural mobilization and to establish standard protocols. Our findings indicate that neural mobilization can be considered as an intervention for neuromusculoskeletal diseases in Korean medicine.

Objectives: Among the many intervention programs for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) is one of the few approaches that has succeeded in demonstrating clinical efficacy in randomized control trials. Here, we investigate the clinical efficacy of ESDM intervention in young children with ASD in a community setting within Japan. Methods: All subjects were children with ASD who received ESDM intervention during the study period. Each ESDM session lasted 75 min and occurred once per week for at least 12 weeks. The outcome measures consisted of the Kyoto Scale of Psychological Development (K-test), Aberrant Behavior Checklist-Japanese version (ABC-J), and the Clinical Global Impression-Severity scale (CGI-S). Results: Twenty-seven subjects (29.4±6.4 months old) received ESDM intervention that lasted for 8.0±2.6 months on average. The score on Language and Social developmental quotient on the K-test increased significantly after the intervention. The total scores on the ABC-J and CGI-S significantly decreased after completion of the ESDM intervention. Conclusion: Our results suggest that ESDM intervention could reduce the severity of distinct clinical features of ASD, such as impairments in social interaction and communication assessed by the K-test, and maladaptive behavior rated by the ABC-J and CGI-S. We believe that the ESDM adapted to each institution might become one of the standard options for children with ASD in Japan.

On December 19, 2015, as Article 29-3 (Installation of Accident Recording Devices and Provision of Information) of Motor Vehicle Management Act came into force, In Korea, the EDR (Event Data Recorder) reports are often used for the analysis of various traffic accident cases such as multiple collisions, traffic insurance crimes, and sudden unintended acceleration (SUA), and the others. So many investigators have analyzed the driver's behavior and vehicle situation by comparing the time zero in the EDR report to the actual crash time in dash-cam (or CCTV). Time zero (T0) is defined as the reference time for the record interval or time interval when recording an accident in Article 56-2, Enforcement rule of Performance and Standard for Automobile and Automotive parts. Also in the EDR report, time zero (T0) is defined as whichever of the following occurs first; 1. "wake-up" by an air-bag control system, 2. Continuously running algorithms (by monitoring of longitudinal or lateral delta-V), 3. Deployment of a non-reversible deployment restraint. We have already proposed the "Flowchart & Checklist" to adopt the EDR report for traffic accident investigation and the necessity of specialized institutions or courses to systematically educate or analyze the EDR data. Therefore, in this paper, we report to traffic accident investigators notable points and analysis methods based on some real-world traffic accidents that can be misjudged in specifying time zero (T0).
