완만한 곡면의 마들링을 위한 개선된 FDTD 앨거리즘 (The improved FDTD algorithm for modeling of a smooth cured surface)

  • The traditional FDTD method in the stair case, the CP-FDTD method, the modified CP-FDTD method, and Dey method have been developed to analyze smooth-curved- surface structures. These methods have some disadvantages such as inaccuracy of the stair-case FDTD, instability of the modified CP-FDTD, and complexity of Dey method. The improved algorithm presented here is a mixed-form of the modified CP algorithm and Dey algorithm. It is to avoid collinear borrowing approximations and to manipulate field update equations. All of preceding methods are applied to the E-plane sectoral horn antenna to get far-field patterns. The validity and applicability of the presented one is to be shown by comparing computed far-field patterns with measured values.

Reduction Design of End Edge Effect in Stationary Discontinuous Armature PMLSM combined with Skewed Magnets and Stair Shape Auxiliary Teeth

  • In recent years, a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) has been used in various kinds of transportation applications for its relative high power density and efficiency. The general transportation system arranges the armature on the full length of transportation lines. However, when this method is applied to long distance transportation system, it causes increase of material cost and manufacturing time. Thus, in order to resolve this problem, we suggested stationary discontinuous armature PMLSM. However, the stationary discontinuous armature PMLSM contains the edges which always exist as a result of the discontinuous arrangement of the armature. These edges become a problem because the cogging force that they exert bad influences the controllability of the motor. Therefore, in this paper we proposed the combination of skewed magnets and stair shape auxiliary teeth to reduce the force by edge effect. Moreover, we analyzed the influence of the design factors by using a 3-D finite element method (FEM) simulation tool.

굴착사면의 안정해석과 보강설계법 (Stability Analysis and Reinforced Design Method of Excavation Slopes)

  • In this study, displacement, deformation, and stability according to change of cohesion and internal friction angle were investigated through elasto-plastic method, finite-element method, and in-site experiment when excavating soft ground using sheet pile. The results of the study were as follows : 1. The horizontal displacement was 5.5% of the excavation depth by the elasto-plastic method and 3.9% of the excavation depth by the on-site experiment at the final excavation depth(GL-8.Om) on the condition of double stair strut after excavating GL-6.Om. 2. Relationships between cohesion(c) and internal friction angle $({\varphi})$ when safety factor to the penetration depth was 1.2 is shown in the following equations : (a) c= -O.0086$({\varphi})$+ O.3(D=3m) and (b) c=-0.00933$({\varphi})$+0.14(D=4m). 3. The results of elasto-plastic method and the experiment show that possible excavation depth was GL-6.Om after setting single stair strut in a short period in terms of possibility of carrying out on the condition of experimental site on the contrary general reinforcement method, setting double stair strut after excavating GL-4.0m. 4. After setting the strut, distribution of the horizontal displacement had concentrated on the excavation base and possible local failure which the shear strain caused decreased by the strut reinforced. 5. After setting strut, displacement of sheet pile was decreased by half, the limit of stable excavation depth of ground was GL-8.Om, and the maximum horizontal displacement at the GL-8.Om was 1.6% of excavation depth by the elasto-plastic method, 0.7% of excavation depth by the finite-element method.

팬티스타킹의 치수표시에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Sizing System of Pantyhose)

  • The pantyhose is a close-fitting garment, and consumers are highly sensitive to any progress made in fitting the garment to their lower body and increasing comfort. However, the pantyhose manufactured in Korea are only one-sized. The purpose of this study is to suggest a sizing system for pantyhose. The results of this study are as follows: 1. As a results of questions regarding the sizing system of pantyhose, 88.2% of people who responded to our questionnaire preferred multi-sized pantyhose. In particular, larger women opposed to thin women expressed some dissatisfaction in the length and the width of the pantyhose. In addition, most of women preferred an indication of the sizing system and the body size of the control dimension (body mass and height). 2. The 13 species of pantyhose that were manufactured abroad are of all sizes, and only one type of pantyhose is one-sized. However, most domestic pantyhose except one, are one-sized. 3. As a result of the experiment, the spandex content in pantyhose was approximately 12∼18%. Moreover, the elongation rate was approximately 200-370%, which differed according to the features of the material. The stretch size of the pantyhose had varies greatly, add has not yet been standardized. 4. The methods for indicating the pantyhose size in this study are the square method and the stair method. The characteristics of the square method are simple, but the coverage is relatively low. The characteristic of the stair method are so complicated that older women have a low preference for this method. However, the coverage rate is high.

지속적인 계단 보행에서 부하가 하지 근육의 생체역학적 변인과 근사 엔트로피에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Loading on Biomechanical Analysis of Lower Extremity Muscle and Approximate Entropy during Continuous Stair Walking)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of gait patterns and muscle activations with increased loads during stair walking. Also, it can be used as descriptive data about continuous stair walking in a real life setting. Method : Twelve sedentary young male adults(Age: $27.0{\pm}1.8yrs$, Weight: $65.8{\pm}9.9kg$) without any lower extremity injuries participated in this study. Participants performed stair walking up 7 floors and their ascending and descending motion on each floor was analyzed. A wireless electromyography(EMG) were attached on the Rectus Femoris(RF), Biceps Femoris(BF), Gastrocnemius(GN), Tibialis Anterior(TA) muscle to calculate integrated EMG(iEMG), median frequency(MDF) and co-contraction index(CI). Chest and left heel accelerometer signal were recorded by wireless accelerometer and those were used to calculate approximate entropy(ApEn) for analyzing gait pattern. All analyses were performed with SPSS 21.0 and for repeated measured ANOVA and Post-hoc was LSD. Results : During ascending stairs, there were a statistically significant difference in Walking time between 1-2nd and other floors(p=.000), GN iEMG between 2-3th and 6-7th(p=.043) floor, TA MDF between 1-2nd and 5-6th(p=.030), 6-7th(p=.015) floor and TA/GN CI between 2-3th and 6-7th(p=.038) floor and ApEn between 1-2nd and 6-7th(x: p=.003, y: p=.005, z: p=.006) floor. During descending stairs, there were a statistically significant difference in TA iEMG between the 6-5th and 3-2nd(p=.026) floor, and for the ApEn between the 1-2nd and 6-7th(x: p=.037, y: p=.000, z: p=.000) floor. Conclusion : Subjects showed more regular pattern and muscle activation response caused by regularity during ascending stairs. Regularity during the first part of stair-descending could be a sign of adaptation; however, complexity during the second part could be a strategy to decrease the impact.

선시공 조립식 거푸집 공법을 이용한 계단 접합부의 접합방식에 따른 해석적 연구 (An Analytical Study for the Stair Joints Constructed with Prefabricated Form System)

  • 선시공 조립식 거푸집 공법을 사용한 계단의 접합부는 힌지로 처리하여 구조설계를 하는 것이 일반적인 방법이다. 계단참과 경사계단이 만나는 접합부를 힌지로 간주하게 되면 접합부의 모멘트 성능이 전혀 없으므로 계단부분의 휨모멘트가 증가하게 되어 철근 배근량이 늘어난다. 또한 진동 및 피로하중에 의한 접합부 손실이 증가하여 사용성이 저하된다. 그럼에도 불구하고 계단 접합부를 핀접합하는 이유는 현장에서의 시공성이 용이하기 때문이다. 최근들어 시공성을 고려하면서 접합부의 휨성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 반강접에 대한 상세가 제시되고 있으나, 이러한 상세를 구조설계에 전혀 반영하지는 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 계단의 반강접 접합부를 설계에 반영할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 강접합, 반강접합, 핀접합으로 설계된 계단 접합부에 대해 모멘트 성능을 비교하고, 부정정 구조물인 계단 코아부분의 비선형 해석을 통해 항복 이후의 변화를 비교하였다. 연구결과 반강접합 성능을 반영하기 위한 휨강성계수를 도입하였고, 이를 적용한 비선형 해석결과 핀접합보다는 안정적인 결과를 보였고, 강접합에 비해 연성이 뛰어나 내진 및 진동에 대해 유리한 시스템으로 판단된다.

공명흡음에 의한 목재와 목질보드의 흡음성능개선 (Improvement of Sound Absorption Capability of Wood and wood-based Board by Resonant Absorption)

  • 공명흡음에 의해 목재와 목질보드의 흡음성능을 개선하고자 무천공, 단순천공 그리고 계단형으로 천공한 목재와 목질보드의 흡음률을 정재파비를 이용하는 관내법으로 조사하였다. 그 결과 측정주파수범위에서 계단형으로 천공한 시험편이 보통의 시험편보다 높은 흡음률을 나타내었으며, 특히 3~4KHz의 주파수영역에서는 50~60% 정도 높은 흡음률을 나타내었다. 목질보드는 측정주파수범위에서 높은 흡음률을 나타내었으며 천공한 목질보드는 300Hz에서 500Hz의 주파수 영역에서 조금 더 높은 흡음률을 나타내었다. 이는 시험편에 조성한 계단형 천공이 단일공명기로 작용하여 특정주파수영역에서 흡음률이 증가된 것으로 사료된다. 몇 가지 크기의 공극에 의해 공명이 발생하는 예상주파수는 실측한 주파수-흡음률 곡선에서 외삽한 공명주파수와 잘 일치하였다.

상가건물 계단통로유도등의 유지관리 효율화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effective Maintenance Method of the Stair Passage Leading Light installed In the Shopping Building)

  • This study was conducted by survey and inspection of stair passage leading lights in shopping buildings which are more than 5 stories and have an underground parking lot located at Pyeongtaek-si and Seongnam-si. Number of shopping building for this study is 30 and of stair passage leading light inspected by two lights in each shopping building is 60. The result of this study is that the type of installed leading lights is LED(77%), and 60% of leading lights has problem such as no cleaning, scratch and discoloration, etc. The height of installed leading lights meets the fire law which is less than 1m from the floor. Visible condition of leading lights is good except some leading lights which have a little visible problem due to banner advertisement. 37% of standby power has flickered and went out. 93% of total leading lights meets the fire law which is more than 1lux from 0.5m distance, but cold cathode fluorescent lamps(CCFLs) have the problem which not meets proper brightness level based on fire law. In additional measurement result, zero lux of leading lights is 32%(from 1m distance), 68%(from 1.5m distance) and 98%(from 2m distance). Leading light is very important facility because it is eyes and guide when emergency. Therefore, proper fire facility operating function inspection and total detailed inspection are important to keep the good condition of leading light except simple visual check, and also improvement in law system of type approval, fire construction inspection and illumination level will be needed.

계단 보행을 위한 능동형 대퇴의지 무릎 관절의 설계 및 최적화 (Design and Optimization of an Knee Joint of Fully-active Transfemoral Prosthesis for Stair Walking)

  • 본 논문은 계단 보행 조건에서 작동할 수 있는 능동형 대퇴의지를 설계하고 구조 최적화를 통해 경량화를 진행하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 계단 보행 시 무릎에 걸리는 토크는 일반 보행에 비해 크므로 능동형 상대적으로 큰 토크를 낼 수 있는 동력 시스템이 필요하다. 또한 의지의 무게는 사용자의 착용감과 피로감과 연관이 되므로 의지의 경량화 설계 또한 필수적이다. 계단 보행 시 필요한 토크를 만들어내고 경량화와 소형화 구조를 적용하기 위해 플랫형 BLDC 모터를 사용하였다. 다양한 감속 장치를 이용해 필요 토크를 생성하고 작동각도 및 속도를 만족할 수 있게 감속비를 선정하였다. 구조 및 구동부 설계가 완료된 후 최적화를 통해 구조 경량화를 수행하였다. 계단 보행 시 나타나는 하중 조건을 고려하여 최적화를 수행하였으며, 해석 및 실험을 통해 최적화된 구조의 안정성을 검증하였다. 결과적으로 구조물의 강성은 유지하면서 위상 최적화와 형상 최적화를 통하여 무게를 감량하였으며, 공간 효율이 좋아졌다.

고층건물 피난계단에서의 연돌효과 저감방안 연구 (A Study on Reduction Method of Stack Effect at Stairwell of High-Rise Building)

  • 건축물이 고층화되면서 피난을 위한 주요 시설인 피난계단에서는 수직적 구조로 인해 연돌효과의 영향이 크게 발생하고 있다. 동절기에 연돌효과로 인한 계단실의 압력상승으로 피난문을 열고 대피하는데 어려움이 있고, 피난계단의 연기안전을 위한 급기가압 제연시스템의 운전성능에 교란이 발생되기 때문에 피난계단에서의 연돌효과를 저감시켜야 더욱 안전한 대피환경을 제공할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 고층 건물에서의 현장실험을 통해 피난계단에서의 연돌효과를 저감시킬 수 있는 방안을 도출하였고, 네트워크 모델을 사용한 수치해석을 수행하여 정량적이고 상세한 설계방안을 제시하였다. 현장실험 결과 피난계단의 저층부에서 피난계단으로 공기가 급기되고 고층부에서 피난계단의 외부로 공기가 배기되도록 공기의 흐름을 생성시켜 준다면 고층 건물의 피난계단에서의 연돌효과가 저감될 것으로 예측된다.
