Effectiveness of a Training Program Based on Stress Management on NEDSA Staff and Line Staff

  • Background: The purpose of present study was to determine the effectiveness of training program based on job stress management in NEDSA and line staff. Methods: The study method of this study was quantitative and quasi-experimental research Methods: From the statistical population (all employees of the NEDSA and line staff in 2020-2021), 30 of these people were selected by judgmental sampling method and considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The participants were first matched based on age and education and were randomly divided into experimental and control groups. First, pre-test was taken from both groups (Job Stress Questionnaire). The experimental group was presented with a job stress management training package and no protocol was presented in the control group. After the sessions, post-test was received from both groups (experimental and control). After two months, a follow-up test was performed. Results: The results were entered into SPSS-24 software and analyzed. The results of repeated measure showed high effectiveness of the job stress management package (researcher-made). The results showed that the job stress management training package showed 67.5% effectiveness and also the training effect of job stress management training was stable for two months (follow-up). Conclusion: Based on these results, Training program based on stress management can be effective in military staff.

  • This research studies the effects of pre-show promotion, at-show promotion, and booth staff training on the image-building and relationship improvement performance of exhibitors. To this purpose, we relate each performance dimension to tactical variables such as pre show promotion, at-show promotion, and booth staff training through related literature review and conduct empirical study on their relationship. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Pre-show promotion and booth staff training have positive influence on image-building and relationship improvement performance. (2) But, at-show promotion has no effect on image-building performance, and has a negative effect on relationship improvement performance. (3) Especially, pre-show promotion has the greatest effect on relationship improvement performance, and booth staff training has the greatest effect on image-building improvement.

보육시설 방문교육프로그램이 보육교사의 영유아 감염에 대한지식, 태도 및 감염예방행위에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Training Program on Infection Prevention for Staff of Child Daycare Centers)

  • Purpose: To identify the effects of a training program on the knowledge of, attitudes towards child infection, and infection prevention behaviors in staff of daycare centers. Methods: A nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design study was conducted with 34 staff of 6 daycare centers over 3 months. The staff in the 3 centers designated as the experimental centers received the training program weekly for 8 weeks. The program included on-site education for one and half hours and monitoring of infection prevention behaviors. Knowledge and attitudes of the staff were measured, and their infection prevention behaviors were observed and recorded by research assistants before and after the program. $X^2$-test, t-test, Fisher's exact test, and Mann-Whitney U-test with SPSS Win program were used to analyze the data. Results: The group of staff who received the training program recorded higher scores in knowledge, attitudes, and their infection prevention behaviors compared with staff in the control group. Conclusion: This finding suggests that the training program had a significant impact on knowledge, attitude, and infection prevention behaviors of staff which could prevent child infection in daycare centers. Nurses need to be involved in daycare centers for the health of the children, and they could intervene effectively in child infections by using this program.

긍정적 행동지원 교육이 근무자의 상호작용 행동과 발달장애 아동의 행동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Staff Training in Positive Behavior Support(PBS) on the Behaviors of Staff and Children with Developmental Disabilities in an Inpatient Unit)

  • 본 연구는 긍정적 행동지원 교육이 입원병동 근무자와 발달장애 아동의 행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴봄으로써 발달장애 아동의 행동개선을 위한 그룹 차원의 긍정적 행동지원의 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 따라서 발달장애 아동을 위한 재활병동에서 긍정적 행동지원에 대한 근무자 교육을 실시하고, 근무자 14명과 아동 15명을 대상으로 직접적 행동관찰, 아동의 문제행동 심각도와 근무자의 돌보기 스트레스 측정, 프로그램 만족도 평가를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 근무자 교육 실시 전에 비해 근무자와 아동의 행동이 긍정적으로 변화하였다. 즉, 칭찬 등의 근무자의 긍정적 상호작용 행동이 증가하고 부정적 지시 등의 부정적 상호작용 행동이 감소하였으며, 아동 행동에서는 떼쓰기 등 문제행동이 크게 감소하고 긍정적 행동은 증가하는 추세를 보였다. 또한 근무자가 평가하는 아동의 문제행동 심각도와 돌보기 스트레스가 중재 전에 비해 유의미하게 감소하였으며, 근무자들은 긍정적 행동지원이 사회적으로 바람직하다고 인식하였다. 본 연구는 긍정적 행동지원 및 교육이 발달장애 아동 및 주변인의 행동과 스트레스 개선에 효과적임을 밝힘으로써, 긍정적 행동지원이 발달장애 아동을 대상으로 한 교육 및 서비스 기관에서 실제적으로 사용가능하고, 사회적으로 타당한 중재 방식임을 제안하였다.

교원의 보직 유무에 따른 중소기업특성화고 인력양성사업 성과 목표 우선순위 비교 연구 (A comparative study on performance goal priority of workforce training project of Small and Medium Business(SMB) Specialized Vocational High Schools by existence of teaching staff's assignment)

  • 이 연구는 교원의 보직 유무에 따른 중소기업특성화고 인력양성사업의 성과 목표에 대한 중요 정도와 수행 정도를 비교하고, IPA기법을 통해 두 집단의 성과 목표에 대한 우선순위 차이를 비교하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 설정한 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교원의 보직 유무에 따른 중소기업특성화고 인력양성사업의 성과 목표에 대한 중요 정도의 차이는 어떠한가? 둘째, 교원의 보직 유무에 따른 중소기업특성화고 인력양성사업의 성과 목표에 대한 수행 정도의 차이는 어떠한가? 셋째, 교원의 보직 유무에 따른 중소기업특성화고 인력양성사업의 성과 목표에 대한 우선순위의 차이는 어떠한가? 이 연구를 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보직 유무와 관계없이 교원들이 가장 중요하게 인식하는 중소기업 특성화고 인력양성사업의 성과 목표는 '취업역량강화' 영역의 '학생의 현장적응력 제고'인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보직 유무와 관계없이 교원들이 수행 정도가 높다고 인식하는 중소기업 특성화고 인력양성사업의 성과 목표는 '취업연계'영역의 '중소기업 취업 기회 확대'인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중소기업특성화고 인력양성사업 성과 목표에서 우선순위를 두어야할 영역에 대해 교원의 보직 유무와 관계없이 '중소기업 특성화고 마인드 제고'영역의 '중소기업에 대한 교원의 이해 증진', '특성화고에 대한 중소기업의 이해 증진'의 우선순위가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

  • 우리나라는 양적으로 확대된 어린이집의 보육서비스 질을 제고하기 위해 2005년 1월 영유아보육법을 개정하면서 보육교사의 자격 기준을 강화하였다. 이후 원장의 국가자격증 도입, 명칭 변경, 원장과 보육교사 자격기준 강화와 보수교육 체계 정비, 보육교사 자격취득 보육관련 교과목 및 학점기준 강화, 2012년에는 보수교육 보육교사자격검정 등 업무위탁관련 조항을 정비하는 등 보육교직원 관련 법적 근거의 변화가 있었다. 이는 보육교직원이 보육의 질 향상과 밀접한 관련이 있으며 영유아에게 직접적인 영향력을 주는 매우 중요한 변인이기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 보육교직원과 관련된 법적 근거 규정이 계속 강화되고 있는 시점에서 문헌조사와 분석을 통해 보육교직원의 현황과 발전방향을 서술하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 크게 3가지 측면을 다루고 있다. 첫째, 보육교직원 관련 역사적 흐름을 리뷰하고 보육교직원의 개념과 역할, 전문성, 법적지위를 조사 분석하였다. 둘째, 보육교직원의 양성기관, 자격체계, 재직 보육교직원, 처우의 현황을 조사하였다. 셋째, 이 모든 것을 토대로 양성체계, 자격기준, 보수교육과 훈련체계, 처우개선 및 지위 향상을 위한 발전방향을 제안하였다.

Effect of a Training Programme on Knowledge of Nurses from a Missionary Hospital in India Regarding Breast Cancer and its Screening

  • A cross-sectional study was conducted among nursing staff of a missionary hospital of Delhi in June 2009. All the nurses were invited to participate in the training programme on breast cancer and techniques of breast self examination (BSE). A questionnaire was administered to all 259 participants seeking information on their level of awareness regarding breast cancer and relevant screening guidelines. With the help of 5 training workshops all the nurses were imparted training regarding the most appropriate technique of doing breast self exams. The mean age of the participants was 35.8 years. Out of a total of 259 nursing staff members 77.2% correctly answered all the 10 questions regarding high risk factors for breast cancer and after the training programme this increased to 100% (p<0.05). Only 65.2% of the participants gave correct responses to all the 8 questions regarding correct technique of performing a BSE, which after the training programme increased to 99.3% (p<0.05). At the baseline only 56.8% knew all the three screening methods correctly and after the intervention 98.7% could correctly mark the responses regarding screening (p<0.05). The actual practice of following the screening guidelines amongst the nursing staff was poor. Only 26 (10.03%) had ever done a BSE, none performed it monthly, 58 (22.4%) had ever gone themselves for a CBE and 18 (6. 94%) had ever undergone mammography.

Effect of Web-supported Health Education on Knowledge of Health and Healthy-living Behaviour of Female Staff in a Turkish University

  • Background: Once limited with face-to face courses, health education has now moved into the web environment after new developments in information technology This study was carried out in order to give training to the university academic and administrative female staff who have difficulty in attending health education planned for specific times and places. The web-supported training focuses on healthy diet, the importance of physical activity, damage of smoking and stress management. Materials and Methods: The study was carried out in Sakarya University between the years 2012-2013 as a descriptive and quasi experimental study. The sample consisted of 30 participants who agreed to take part in the survey, filled in the forms and completed the whole training. The data were collected via a "Personel Information Form", "Health Promotion Life-Style Profile (HPLSP)", and "Multiple Choice Questionnaire (MCQ). Results: There was a statistically significant difference between the total points from "Health Promotion Life-Style Profile" and the total points from the sub-scale after and before the training (t=3.63, p=0.001). When the points from the multiple choice questionnaire after and before training were compared, it was seen that the average points were higher after the training (t=8.57, p<0.001). Conclusions: It was found that web-supported health training has a positive effect on the healthy living behaviour of female staff working at a Turkish university and on their knowledge of health promotion.

A proposed cultural competence training program for nurses based on their transcultural self-efficacy

  • This study examined the relationship between the demographic profiles of 260 staff nurses in the SPC Health Care Ministry Hospitals and their Transcultural Self-Efficacy (TSE) level on the Cognitive, Practical and Affective dimensions. To obtain the result, among the nine (9) demographic profile items, three (3) common positive predictors were considered, namely, 1) Educational attainment level; 2) Age; and 3) Willingness to work abroad in all three dimensions. While in the Practical and Affective dimensions, the number of years employed were a common negative predictor and in the Affective dimension, Gender of participants was added as the positive predictor. Therefore, there are some significant demographic characteristics of respondents influence to the transcultural self-efficacy. Further, based on the results of this diagnostic study, the researcher designed the One (1) year Cultural Competence Training Program for staff nurses. For future research, the researcher recommended to conduct a further study that will evaluate the effectiveness of the educational intervention by approaching a longitudinal study form administering the test and retest of TSET.

고객접점직원의 서비스교육훈련이 직무만족도 및 조직충성도에 미치는 영향 (A study on effects of Customer contact staff of Service training on job satisfaction and organizational loyalty)

  • 최근 점점 높아지는 고객의 욕구를 충족시키고 그에 따른 고객만족도의 향상을 위하여 고객접점 직원들에 대한 서비스 교육훈련의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 이러한 서비스 교육훈련은 고객만족도 향상을 위해서 뿐만 아니라 고객을 응대하는 접점직원들의 고객응대에 대한 서비스 역량을 향상시켜 주기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 서울메트로 고객접점 파트에서 근무하는 2013년부터 2016년 상반기 사이에 입사한 신입 역무원들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 이들이 신입사원 양성교육을 통한 서비스교육훈련을 받은 후 현장에 배치되었을 시 고객접점에서 고객을 응대하고 서비스를 제공 하는데 있어 직무에 대한 만족도 및 조직에 대한 충성도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 실증적 연구를 진행하여 보다 나은 교육프로그램으로 개선점을 찾고 사업 전반에 걸친 서비스교육훈련의 중요성에 대한 인식을 일깨우려한다.
