스핀코터를 이용한 박막의 기계적 안정성 평가 (Mechanical Stability Evaluation of Thin Film with Spin-coater)

  • For high volume manufacturing using extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography, mask protection from contamination during lithography process must be solved, and EUV pellicle is the strongest solution. Based on the technical requirements of EUV pellicle, EUV pellicle should have large membrane area ($110{\times}140mm^2$) with film transmittance over 90% and mechanical stability. Even though pellicle that satisfies size standard with high transmittance has been reported, its mechanical stability has not been confirmed, nor is there a standard to evaluate the mechanical stability. In this study, we suggest a rather simple method evaluating mechanical stability of pellicle membrane using spin-coater which can emulate the linear accelerated motion. The test conditions were designed by simulating the acceleration distribution inside pellicle membrane through correlating the linear acceleration and centripetal acceleration, which occurs during linear movement and rotation movement, respectively. By these simulation results, we confirmed the possibility of using spin-coater to evaluate the mechanical stability of EUV pellicle.

  • 박막은 Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si 기판 위에 구연산 졸을 이용하여 spin coating에 의해 제작하였다. 기판위에 코팅된 구연산 졸을 380oC에서 15분간 건조시킨 후 750oC에서 10분간 열처리하여 박막을 얻었다. 얻어진 박막은 X-선 회절분석 결과 R3m의 결정구조를 가짐을 알수 있었고, 전기화학적 특성의 측정결과 1차 방전용량은 0.35Ah/cm2-m로 측정되었다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 풍동시험을 통해 회전발사체에서 발생하는 동적 마그너스 효과를 실험적으로 측정하는데 있었으며, 이를 위해 약 12,000 rpm으로 회전하는 155-mm 회전발사체 실험모형에 작용하는 마그너스 특성의 측정을 위한 고속풍동실험을 국방과학연구소 삼중음속풍동에서 수행하였다. 실험시의 마하수는 0.7~2.0까지였으며 이때의 받음각 구간은 -4~+10 deg이었다. 풍동실험 측정기법의 유효성 평가를 위해 동일형상 모형에 대해 기 수행하였던 마그너스 측정결과와의 비교검토를 수행하였으며, 기존 연구결과들과 잘 부합됨을 확인하였다.

HDD 내 디스크 표면 특성이 미세입자의 부착 및 이탈에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Characteristics of Disk Surface on Particle Adhesion and Removal in a Hard Disk Drive)

  • The use of magnetoresistive (MR) head requires much tighter control of particle contamination in a drive since loose particles on the disk surface will generate thermal asperities (TA). In this study, a spinoff test was performed to investigate the adhesion and removal capability of a particle to disk surface. Numerical simulation was also performed to investigate dominant factor of particle detachment and to support experimental results. It was shown that particles are detached from the disk surface by the moment derived from the centrifugal force and the drag force and that the centrifugal force and capillary force are the dominant force, which determines spin-off of a particle on the disk surface. Removal of particles smaller than several micrometers, which are the main source of TA generation, is extremely difficult since the adhesion forces exceed the centrifugal force. Lubricant types and manufacturing process also influence the particle removal. Lower bonding ratio and lower viscosity of the lubricant will help to increase the removal rate of the particles from the disk surface.

비행 시험을 통한 저속 회전 유도형 탄약의 롤각 추정 성능 검증 (Verification of Roll Angle Estimation Performance of Slowly Rolling Guided Munition by Flight Experiment)

  • 본 논문에서는 유도형 탄약의 모사 기체를 제작하고 공중에서 탄체에 롤축 회전을 인가한 뒤 롤축 저속 회전 중인 탄체의 롤각 추정 성능을 실험적으로 검증한 방법과 결과를 소개한다. 멀티로터형 무인기를 모선으로 사용해 유도형 탄약 모사 기체에 초기 속도와 고도를 부여하였으며 탄체 투하, 탄체 회전, 롤각 추정 및 안정화로 이어지는 비행 시험 시나리오를 통해 롤각 추정 결과를 분석한다. 약 200m의 고도에서 수평 방향으로 15m/s의 속력으로 탄체를 투하한 뒤 내부의 반동차(Reaction Wheel)를 사용하여 탄체를 회전시켰으며 특히, 상용 GPS/INS와의 비교를 통해 롤각 추정 결과를 제시한다. 아울러, 반동차를 이용하여 공중에서 탄체를 롤축 회전시키는 메커니즘들을 비교하고 실제 구현한 결과도 소개한다.

5 kWh 복합재 플라이휠 로터의 회전 시험 (Spin Test of 5 kWh Composite Flywheel Rotor)

  • 본 논문은 에서는 5 kWh 복합재 플라이휠 로터를 설계/제작 하고, 회전 시 복합재 로터에 발생되는 변형률 분포와 로터의 파손 속도를 측정하기 위해 회전 시험을 수행하였다. 회전 시험 시 블루투스 방식의 무선 통신시스템을 이용하여 복합재 로터의 반경방향과 원주방향의 변형률을 실시간으로 측정하였다. 측정된 로터 변형률과 미리 예측된 로터 변형률을 비교하여 초기 로터 설계를 검증하였다. 복합재 로터는 파손속도인 22,000 rpm보다 11 %낮은 19,499 rpm에서 파손 되었다. 파손은 축과 복합재 로터를 연결하는 허브에서 발생하였다. 본 논문은 일반적인 관점에서 로터의 성능을 검증하였고, 고속 회전하는 복합재 로터의 예상치 않은 파손 위험을 입증하였다. 플라이휠 에너지 저장 시스템 설계 시 복합재 로터 뿐 아니라 허브 설계에도 특별한 주의가 요구된다. 플라이휠 에너지 저장 시스템을 실시간으로 관찰하기 위해서, 특히 높은 원심력을 받는 동안에도 작동 될 수 있는 무선 통신 시스템 개발이 앞으로 선행 되어야 한다.

선미익형 항공기 구조시험 (Canard Type Aircraft Structural Test)

  • A canard type aircraft, which has good wing stall and stall/spin-proof characteristics, is under development. The aircraft prototype has full-depth core sandwich type wing and fixed landing gear, and has been built for test flights. Newly developing aircraft will be equipped with retractable landing gear and conventional foam core sandwich laminate structures and multi-rib wings. In this study, we present the structural test procedure and result for aircraft Firefly.

Preparation and Characterization of New Immunoprotecting Membrane Coated with Amphiphilic Multiblock Copolymer

  • New immunoprotecting membranes were prepared by spin coating the amphiphilic random multiblock copolymers of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) and poly(tetramethylene ether glycol) (PTMEG) or poly(dimethyl siloxane) (PDMS) on porous Durapore(R) membrane. The copolymer coating was intended to make a biocompatible, immunoprotecting diffusional barrier and the supporting porous substrate was for mechanical stability and processability. By filling Durapore(R) membrane pores with water, the penetration of coating solution into the pores was minimized during the spin coating process. A single coating process produced a completely covered thin surface layer (~1 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in thickness) on the porous substrate membrane. The permselectivity of the coated layer was influenced by PEG block length, polymer composition, and thickness of the coating layer. A composite membrane with the coating layer prepared with PEG 2 K/PTMEG 2 K block copolymer showed that its molecular weight cut-of fat any 40 based on dextran was close to the molecular size of IgG (Mw = 150 kDa). However, IgG permeation was detected from protein permeation test, while glucose oxidase (Mw = 186 kDa) was not permeable through the coated membrane.

  • There are being a lot of studies for achievement of high speed Dehydration, high-strength and Lightweight of washing machine in the latest washing machine business. It is essential that Press-joining Strength of Spin Drum Seaming division is improved .to attain that target. Generally, we are using Mechanical press-joining by Seaming and T.I.G (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding among part joint method. Mechanical press-joining method that is mainly using for Stainless Steel (STS430) Drum have lots of merit that consumption of energy is low more than welding and production costs cut down and generation of the corrosion is solved by removing weld zone defect and materials having different properties are enable to join without special equipment. But, it is difficult to realize joint strength required at high speed operation because joint strength of mechanical press-joining method is low remarkably in comparison with welding. Also, there are a lot of analysis difficulties and very limited research is under way due to the dynamic factor such as multistage plastic working, elastic recovery, residual stress etc. The results of this study show optimal joining condition for mechanical press-joining by performing lots of tensile joining strength test with various specimen under multi-change of important design factor such as seaming width, bead area and bead depth etc.

회전안정탄약의 비행운동 모사장치에 대한 실험적·수치해석적 연구 (Experimental and Numerical Studies on a Test Equipment for the Replication of Flight Motions of Spin-Stabilized Ammunition)

  • A gas gun system to replicate the flight motions of large caliber spin-stabilized ammunition has been investigated experimentally and numerically. The system is specially designed to study aerodynamic characteristics and dynamics of a flight body ejected from a cargo shell or a subsonic projectile itself at up to 2,000 rpm and 100 m/s. Raynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations with a overset mesh technique and 6-DOF dynamics were solved to decide the chamber pressure according to the muzzle velocity input by users. The predicted velocity values show less than 6 % of discrepancies compared to experimental data. The system has successfully been tested for the simulation of deployment of a parafoil for a 155 mm gun-launched projectile.
