Mg합금 온간판재 성형시 성형한계에 미치는 변형률 속도의 영향 (An Effect of Strain rate of Forming limits of Mg Alloy at Warm Sheet Forming)

  • In this study, it is investigated that the effect of material properties such as various temperature, forming speed and strain rates on formability and forming limits of Mg alloy sheet in square cup deep drawing. Since the sheet metal forming of Mg alloy is perform at elevated temperature, the effect of strain rates related with the forming temperature and forming speed is very important factor for formability and forming limits. Therefore, the investigation for process variables is necessary to improve formability and forming limits. Also, the effects of strain rate and thickness transformation were studied by the experimental and FE analysis using the square cup deep drawing. The temperature, forming speed, and strain rates were investigated. Forming of Mg alloy takes consider into temperature, proper forming speed and strain-rate the formed parts were good without defects fur forming limits.

도시부도로 제한속도 산정모형 개발 및 효과분석 연구 (Development of Speed Limits Estimation Model and Analysis of Effects in Urban Roads)

  • Appropriate speed limits at a reasonable level in urban roads are highly important factors for efficient and safe movement. Thus, it is greatly necessary to develop the objective models or methodology based on engineering study considering factors such as traffic accident rates, roadside development levels, and roadway geometry characteristics etc. The purpose of this study is to develop the estimate model of appropriate speed limits at each road sections in urban roads using traffic information big data and field specific data and to review the effects of accident decrease. In this study, the estimate method of appropriate speed limits in directional two or more lanes of urban roads is reflecting features of actual variables in a form of adjustment factor on the basis of the maximum statutory speed limits. As a result of investigating and testing influential variables, the main variables to affect the operating speed are the function of road, the existence of median, the width of lane, the number of traffic entrance/exit path and the number of traffic signal or nonsignal at intersection and crosswalk. As a result of testing this model, when the differences are bigger between the real operating speed and the recommended speed limits using model developed in this study, the accident rate generally turns out to be higher. In case of using the model proposed in this study, it means accident rate can be lower. When the result of this study is applied, the speed limits of directional two or more lane roads in Seoul appears about 11km/h lower than the current speed limits. The decrease of average operating speed caused by the decrease of speed limits is 2.8km/h, and the decrease effect of whole accidents according to the decrease of speed is 18% at research road. In case that accident severity is considered, the accident decrease effects are expected to 17~24% in fatalities, 11~17% in seriously injured road user, 6~9% in slightly injured road user, 5~6% in property damage only accidents.

Modelling of Swimming Ability Limits for Marine Fish

  • The total energy of fish movement and the maximum burst swimming speed were estimated and formulated in accordance with body length and water temperature for several species in fisheries by empirical methods and also by using published results. Under the assumption of swimming energy reserve of a fish at the initial rest state, the swimming endurance of fish with different body lengths, swimming speeds and angular velocity was calculated using the relevant equations under similar conditions in tank experiments as well as natural conditions in field. Relative swimming energy efficiency or the transition swimming speed between red and white muscle for energy consumption was represented as a trigonometric function of swimming speed ratio. Therefore, this model does closely approach the actual swimming abilities and their limits especially in relation to the fishing gear operation and allow for the greater vitality of the wild fish in the fields.

It is investigated that the effect of material properties such as various temperature, forming speed and strain rates on formability and R-value of Mg alloy sheet in round cup deep drawing. Also, the effects of strain rate and drawbility were studied by the experiment. The temperature, forming speed, and strain rates and R-value are investigated. Forming of Mg alloy takes consider into temperature, proper forming speed and strain-rate and R-value the formed parts were good without defects for forming limits and deep drawing.

도시고속도로 가변속도제어 운영방안과 효과분석 (A Study on Operation Technique and Effective Analysis of Expressway Variable Speed Limits Control)

  • 본선 교통류 제어 방안 중 가변속도제어 모형을 제시하고 서울 내부순환로를 중심으로 효과를 검증하였다. 차량 검지기로부터 수집된 데이터 보정 및 평활화 수행후 패턴분석을 통해 도시고속도로의 평일 상태를 4가지로 분류하고 중심 값을 산출하였다. 그리고 분석단위의 상태를 판단하기 위한 상태변수로 전이교통량, 평균밀도, 평균속도를 설정하였으며 제시된 모형과 시나리오에 근거하여 검증한 결과 안전성 및 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있었다. 또한 유입교통량에 따라 가변속도제어의 감속 정도와 유효 적용시간을 산출하였다.

시운전 시험을 통한 한국형 고속전철 차체진동 특성의 분석 및 평가 (Analysis and Evaluation of Body Vibration Characteristics for Korean High Speed Train through On-line Test)

  • The prototype of Korean high speed train (HSR350), composed of two power cars, two motorized cars and three trailer cars, has been designed, fabricated and tested. In this paper, the body vibration has been reviewed from the viewpoint of the vehicle's safety and the vibration limits for components and sub-assemblies mounted on the car-body using by the experimental method. And, the dynamic characteristics, such as jerk, natural mode and kinematic mode, have been reviewed. The KHST has been run to 300 km/h in the KTX line and the results of on-line test show that it has no problems in the vehicle's safety and the vibration limits. And the characteristics of body vibrations has been predicted at 350 km/h by fitting curve about the measured acceleration signals.

  • The parameter-based cardiovascular impedance simulator that is able to overcome the limits of conventional mock circulatory systems is critical for the development and test of biomedical devices including artificial heart. The concept of impedance simulator was validated mathematically in a previous study using high-gain feedback linearization control which, however, may cause serious difficulties and limits for practical implementation. In this study, therefore, practical applicability of the impedance simulator is investigated considering the physical limits such as motor speed and torque. Simple PID controller which do not require complex model of the simulator is used considering the practical implementation. Design guidelines of the impedance simulator are also provided based on the results.

  • 전세계적으로 기후 변화의 영향에 따른 차량 추돌 사고에 대한 위험성이 중요한 이슈로 등장하고 있다. 고속주행차량의 속도제한을 위해 다양한 형태의 속도제한 표시장치가 고려되고 있으나 현재는 대부분 고정식 속도제한 표시기를 사용하고 있다. 4계절이 뚜렷한 우리나라의 경우에는 비가 많이 오는 우기나 눈이 많이 오는 계절이나 안개가 많이 발생되는 경우에는 차량 추돌 사고를 방지하기 위한 차량 속도 감속 제한이 필요하지만 기존에 설치되어 있는 고정식 표지판으로는 사고를 미연에 방지하는 것이 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 레인 센서와 차량 와이퍼 시스템 등을 결합 시킨 기후 변화에 따른 차량 속도 제한이 가변적으로 표시되는 LED 전광판의 프로토타입 모델을 제작하였다. 내리는 비나 눈의 양에 따라 기준속도의 100%, 80%, 50%로 3단계로 가변 표시되는 속도제한 표시기는 설치되는 장소에 따라 적절한 속도를 선택 지정하여 표시할 수 있다. LED 표시장치를 이용한 시각적인 효과로 인해 운전자들이 사전에 속도를 감속하게 하여 차량 추돌 사고를 미연에 방지하는데 효과적으로 이용될 것으로 기대 된다.

한국형 고속전철의 차체 진동특성 분석 (Analysis of Characteristics of Body Vibrations for Korean High Speed Train)

  • The prototype of Korean high speed train(KHST), composed of two power cars, two motorized cais and three trailer cars, has been designed, fabricated and tested. In this paper. the body vibration has been reviewed from the viewpoint of the vehicle's safety, the ride comfort and the vibration limits for components and sub-assemblies mounted on the car-body using by analytical method and experimental method. The on-line test of KHST has been tarried out up to 260 ㎞/h in the KTX line and the results of the on-line test show that KHST has no problems in the vehicle's safety. the comfort ride and the vibration limits at this speed. And the characteristics of body vibrations has been Predicted at 300 ㎞/h and 350 ㎞/h by fitting curve about the measured acceleration signals.

  • In this paper, We have studied on the critical vibration limits of spindle unit for the high speed ball pen tip processing machine. The vibration of bearing can be measured by FFT, and the influence of vibration amplitude due to the Unbalance, bearing deflect, bite and timing belts tension are analyzed. So, the critical vibration limits of spindle is determined by the X, Z directional vibration of spindle Unit.
