This paper presents architecture and control method of packet scheduler to guarantee QoS of high quality streaming services in high-speed packet-switched networks. Since streaming services need far more stringent QoS requirements than the typical sort of burst data applications, they should be guaranteed minimum bandwidth and end-to-end delay bound to each flow, regardless of the behavior of other flows. To meet these requirements, a packet scheduler isolate a flow from the undesirable effects of other flows and provides end-to-end delay guarantees for individual flow and divides stringently the available link bandwidth among flows sharing the link. Until now, many vendors are developing traffic management chips running at 10Gbps, but most of chips have drawbacks to support high quality streaming services. In this paper, we investigate the drawbacks of commercial TM chips and traffic characteristic of streaming services and present implementation frameworks of the proposed packet scheduler. Finally, we analyze the simulation results of the proposed scheduler.
Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the output energy(voltage) of laser welding on the strength and properties of joint of cast titanium(CP Gr II) and titanium alloy(Ti-6Al-4V). Material and method : Cast titanium and its alloy rods(ISO6871) were prepared and perpendicularly cut at the center of the rod. After the cut halves were fixed in a jig, and the joints welded with a laser-welding machine at several levels of output voltage of $200V{\sim}280V$. Uncut specimens served as the non-welded control specimens The pulse duration and pulse spot size employed in this study were 10ms and 1.0mm respectively. Tensile testing was conducted at a crosshead speed of 0.5mm/min. The ultimate tensile strength(MPa) was recorded, and the data (n=6) were statistically analyzed by one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA) and Scheffe's test at ${\alpha}$=0.05. The fracture surface of specimens investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM). Vickers microhardness was measured under 500g load of 15seconds with the optimal condition of output voltage 280V. Results : The results of this study were obtained as follows, 1. When the pulse duration and spot size were fixed at 10ms and 1.0mm respectively, increasing the output energy(voltage) increased UTS values and penetration depth of laser welded to titanium and titanium alloy. 2. For the commercial titanium grade II, ultimate tensile strength(665.3MPa) of the specimens laser-welded at voltage of 280V were not statistically(p>0.05) different from the non-welded control specimens (680.2MPa). 3. For the titanium alloy(Ti-6Al-4V), ultimate tensile strength(988.3MPa) of the specimens laser-welded at voltage of 280V were statistically(p<0.05) different from the non-welded control specimens (665.0MPa). 4. The commercial titanium grade II and titanium alloy(Ti-6Al-4V) were Vickers microhardness values were increased in the fusion zone and there were no significant differences in base metal, heat-affected zone.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the micro-tensile bond strength (${\mu}TBS$) of four luting resin to regional dentin of human primary teeth. Dentin from non-carious primary molars were prepared from different regions (s, superficial dentin; d, deep dentin; c, cervical dentin), and divided into groups based on anatomical locations and types of luting resins (Scotchbond Multi-purpose : SB ; One-Step : OS ; AdheSE Bond : ASE ; G-Bond : GB) : SB-s, SB-d, SB-c; OS-s, OS-d, OS-c; ASE-s, ASE-d, ASE-c ; GB-s, GB-d, GB-c. Luting resins were used according to the manufacturers' instructions, to bond $Light-Core^{TM}$ Core Build-Up Composite) to the exposed dentin specimens in the light-curing mode. After storage for 1 day, ${\mu}TBS$ was tested at a cross-head speed of 1 mm/min. Data were analyzed with T-test and two-way ANOVA. The bonding interface and fractography analyses were performed with SEM. The results were as follows : 1. ${\mu}TBS$ to superficial dentin was significantly higher than to deep dentin for SB(p<0.05). But there were no significant differences in regional ${\mu}TBS$ among OS, ASE, GB(p>0.05). 2. There were no significant differences in ${\mu}TBS$ to superficial dentin among each groups. But, in deep dentin, ${\mu}TBS$ of SB-d was significantly lower than those of OS-d, ASE-d, and GB-d(p<0.05). ${\mu}TBS$ of OS-d was significantly higher than those of GB-d(p<0.05), but there were no significant differences in ${\mu}TBS$ of ASEd. There were no significant differences among ${\mu}TBS$ of ASE-d, OS-d, and GB-d.
Purpose: This study is to evaluate the effect of modeling liquid on the shear-bond strength between zirconia core and veneering ceramic. Methods: Disk-shaped (diameter: 12.0mm; height: 3.0mm) zirconia were randomly divided into six groups according to the surface conditioning method and whether modeling liquid is used or not to be applied (N=60, n=10 per group): group 1-control group with distilled water(ZD); group 2-control group with modeling liquid(ZM); group 3-airborne particle abrasion with $110-{\mu}m$$Al_2O_3$(AD) with distilled water; group 4-airborne particle abrasion with $110-{\mu}m$$Al_2O_3$ with modeling liquid(AM); group 5-liner with distilled water(LD); group $6{\pounds}{\neq}liner$ with modeling liquid(LM). Contact angles were determined by the sessile drop method at room temperature using a contact angle measurement apparatus. The specimens were prepared using dentin veneering ceramics, veneered, 3mm high and 2.8mm in diameter, over the cores. The shear bond strength test was performed in a Shear bond test machine. Load was applied at a cross-head speed of 0.50mm/min until failure. The fractured zirconia surfaces were evaluated by using stereomicroscope (${\times}30$). Collected data were analyzed using SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Sciences) Win 12.0 statistics program. Results: ZD showed the highest contact angle($50.6{\pm}5.4^{\circ}$) and LD showed the lowest value($6.7{\pm}1.3^{\circ}$). Control groups and zirconia liner groups were significantly higher contact angle than liner groups(p<0.05). LD was the highest shear bond strength($43.9{\pm}3.8MPa$) and ZD was the lowest shear bond strength($24.8{\pm}4.9MPa$). Shear bond strengths of control groups and contact angle of liner groups were not significantly different((p>0.05). Liner groups presented adhesive failures. The others groups showed cohesive and adhesive failures. Conclusion: Modeling liquid groups showed lower contact angles and lower shear bond strength compared to those of distilled water groups.

In this paper, the development of wideband MIMO channel sounder and a pilot measurement result is described for research on the multi antenna radio propagation characteristics considering urban environment at microwave frequencies. We developed $4{\times}4$ MIMO(BW:100 MHz) channel sounder using the high speed switching mechanism and periodic pseudo random binary signals method considering next generation mobile communication system. A pilot measurement campaign at the urban area of Bundang is presented for confirmation of system performance. From the analysis of measurement data, wideband path loss exponent of 3.7 and 8 GHz band is 1.79 and 1.76. Average RMS delay spread is 200 ns and 42 ns respectively. From the experiment results, operation of this measurement system is confirmed considering research for a coverage, SNR and channel capacity in urban environment at microwave frequencies.

100 MHz bandwidth and 1 Gbit/s data speed are needed in LTE-advanced for the next generation mobile communication system. Therefore, spectrum aggregation method has been studied recently to extend usable frequency bands. Also bandwidth utilization is increased since vacant frequencies are used to communicate. However, transceiver structure requires the digital RF and SDR. Therefore, frequency synthesizer and PA must operate over wide-bandwidth and RF impairments also increases in transceiver. Uplink of LTE advanced uses DFT-S OFDM using plural power amplifier. The effect of ICI increases in frequency domain of receiver due to phase noise and IQ imbalance. In this paper, we analyze influences of ICI in frequency domain of receiver considering phase noise and IQ imbalance in multiband system. Also, we separate phase noise and IQ imbalance effect from channel response in frequency domain of uplink system. And we propose a method to estimate the channel exactly and to compensate IQ imbalance and phase noise. Simulation result shows that the proposed method achieves the 2 dB performance gain of BER=$10^{-4}$.

Tactical communication radio systems that employ software defined radios(SDRs) have been developed for achieving high-speed data transmissions and voice communications. Such systems possess multiband and multichannel features, and can potentially replace several existing radio systems. This paper proposes a design for wideband antennas by incorporating a diplexer matching network for tactical vehicles. The proposed antenna design includes two radiators(upper and lower) and a diplexer matching network connected to the end of the feed line such that the LC matching networks are interleaved in the lower radiator and spring mount. By employing the diplexer matching network, the designed antenna can perform wideband impedance matching for the fifty ohm feed line. The designed LC networks aid in varying the effective electrical length of the antenna according to the operation frequency. The primary objective behind adjusting the electrical length is to vary the current distribution above and below the LC networks. The proposed antenna was fabricated and tested in an open site. The obtained evaluation results show that the designed antenna can achieve a relative bandwidth of 190% with a VSWR value of 3.5:1, and can attain good antenna gains over VHF and UHF bands.

A computational fluid dynamics (CFD) numerical model has been developed to effectively study the ventilation efficiency of multi-span greenhouses with internal crops. As the first step of the study, the internal plants of the CFD model had to be designed as a porous media because of the complexity of its physical shapes. In this paper, the results of the wind tunnel tests were introduced to find the aerodynamic resistance of the plant canopy. The Seogun tomato was used for this study which made significant effects on thermal and mass exchanges with the adjacent air as well as internal airflow resistance. With the main factors of wind speed, static pressure, and density of plant canopy, the aerodynamic resistance factor was statically found. It was finally found to be 0.26 which will be used later as an input data of the CFD model. Moreover, the experimental procedure of how to find the aerodynamic resistance of various plants using, wind tunnel was established through this study.

Single droplet-wall collision heat transfer characteristics on a heated plate above Leidenfrost temperature were experimentally investigated considering the effects of impact velocity. The collision characteristics of the droplet impinged on the heated wall and the changes in temperature distribution were simultaneously measured using synchronized high-speed video and infrared cameras. The surface heat flux distribution was obtained by solving the three-dimensional transient heat conduction equation for the heated substrate using the measured surface temperature data as the boundary condition for the collision surface. As the normal impact velocity increased, heat transfer effectiveness increased because of an increase in the maximum spreading diameter and a decrease in the vapor film thickness between the droplet and heated wall. For We < 30, droplets stably rebounded from a heated wall without breakup. However, the droplets broke up into small droplets for We > 30. The tendency of the heat transfer to increase with increasing impact velocity was degraded by the transition from the rebounding region to the breakup region; this was resulted from the reduction in the effective heat transfer area enlargement due to the breakup phenomenon.

In this study, a loosely coupled fluid-structure interaction (FSI) analysis was conducted for a low-pressure (LP) final-stage rotor blade. Preliminary FSI analyses of a $15^{\circ}$ sweptback wing and a NASA Rotor 37 compressor blade were performed for verifying the boundary conditions. The results were compared with the established literatures for each model. The FSI analysis of the $15^{\circ}$ sweptback wing was carried out under both stable and unstable conditions. The excessive deformation of the wing was observed within 0.05 s under the unstable condition which is higher than the divergence speed of a wing compared with the stable condition. On the basis of the results of a steady-state study, an unsteady state FSI analysis was conducted for a NASA Rotor 37. Different deformations were observed at trailing edge of the blade in the static FSI and dynamic FSI analysis. A 3D FE model of a LP rotor was generated from the span-wise section data. In order to develop a reasonable model, an impact test was performed and compared to the FE model. Using this FE model, the steady-state FSI analysis was performed successfully.
