대다수 국가에서 공공도서관은 지역사회를 위한 지식정보 허브, 복합문화공간, 만남과 소통을 위한 제3의 장소로서의 역할을 수행하고 있다. 이를 위한 공공도서관 업무 중에서 요체는 체계적인 장서개발이고, 구축된 장서는 모든 지식정보서비스에 필수적이다. 특히 지역대표도서관은 광역자치단체를 위한 종합지식정보센터로서의 법정 업무를 수행해야 하며 다른 공공도서관이 수행하기 어려운 특화장서를 개발·제공·보존해야 한다. 이에 외국의 대규모 공공도서관과 국내 지역대표도서관의 특화장서 개발 사례를 조사하고 경북지역 공공도서관 직원을 대상으로 특화장서 등에 대한 인식도를 조사하였으며, 경북의 문화지형을 분석하였다. 이들을 배경정보로 삼아 '경북지식문화유산'으로 명명한 경북도서관의 특화장서 개발방안 및 구축전략을 제안하였다.

Dependency parsing is often used as a component in many text analysis pipelines. However, performance, especially in specialized domains, suffers from the presence of complex terminology. Our hypothesis is that including named entity annotations can improve the speed and quality of dependency parses. As part of BLAH5, we built a web service delivering improved dependency parses by taking into account named entity annotations obtained by third party services. Our evaluation shows improved results and better speed.

Localization trends in Korea and trade liberalization in the world are the important challenges to agricultural extension services in Korea, and strategic directions in terms of system, organization, programs and conciousness would be necessary for adapting to the new circunstances. Some of the measures to improve and activate agricultural extension services in Korea should include the following: 1) Modification of extension personnel appointment regulations to secure specialized extension agents by the provincial administrators and county directors at the provincial and county level rural extension services. 2) Flexible organization and operation of county level rural guidance offices to meet the specific needs of local areas. 3) Strenghening the central government's financial support for effective local extension services in terms of facility and manpower. 4) Expansion of agricultural extension programs for women and urban people and quality inservice training for extension personnel.

As the market becomes increasingly globalized and competition among companies increases in severity, various specialized organizations are participating across the process plant lifecycle, including the stages of design, construction, operation and maintenance, and dismantlement, in order to ensure efficiency and elevate competitiveness. In this regard, it is an important technical issue to develop services or information systems for sharing process plant data among participating organizations. ISO 15926 is an international standard for integration of lifecycle data for process plants including oil and gas facilities. ISO 15926 Part 7, a part of the ISO 15926 standard, specifies an implementation method called a facade that uses Web Services and ontology technologies for constructing plant data repositories and related services, with the aim of sharing lifecycle data of process plants. This paper discusses the ISO 15926-based prototype facade implemented for storing equipment data of nuclear power plants and servicing the data to interested organizations.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate counseling services in consumer counseling sites. We analyzed the contents and services of consumer counseling from the following internet sites; http : //www . gcn. or. kr , http : //www. jubuclub. or. kr, http : //www. cacpk. erg, http : //www . tor. co. kr/~ consumer, http : //civ. miriman. co. kr, http ://my. netian .com/~rokmc9. The major findings were summarized as follows: (1) All sites provided both a lot of information on consumer affairs and services for consumer counseling. (2) Two out of six private consumer counseling sites were technically inappropriated. They are wow.gen.or.kr and cia.miriman.co.kr (3) Consumer counseling services with specialized information and laws on consumer affairs were more likely provided from sites of consumer organizations than personal sites. (4) Personal sites made more consumer friendly communication than organization sites.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors affecting the utilization of emergency medical services and characteristics of emergency medical services according to age group among elderly individuals. Methods: This study conducted t-test and linear regression analysis on data of 1,960,575 participants to achieve the objective. Results: Analysis of the factors affecting the use of emergency medical services showed statistically significant correlation in all age groups. As the age of elderly people increased, the use of emergency medical service increased. Conclusions: Emergency medical policies are needed, such as coordinators with expert knowledge of medical and health administration and specialist emergency room operations that can provide specialized medical service for older patients.

성폭력피해자를 위한 의료지원에 대한 전문가 의견조사로서, 의료서비스 제공 주체인 의사의 성폭력 피해자 및 진료에 대한 태도, 의료서비스 제공실태 및 필요한 의료지원에 대한 의견을 조사하였다. 남녀의사 83명으로부터 수집된 설문조사 자료를 토대로, 피해자 치료경험여부와 해당 진료과여부에 따라 의사유형을 분류하여 비교하였다. 치료경험이 있는 의사(type1)는 성폭력피해자 치료비 보장과 정액반응검사, 다양한 법정증언지원에 대한 필요도가 높았다. 치료경험이 없지만 해당 진료과인 의사(type2)는 피해여성에 대한 부정적 견해, 진료에 따르는 현실적 어려움을 예상하는 정도가 높았다. 특화의료지원 및 사정지원방안에 대한 필요도는 낮은 반면, 법정증언 지원방안에 대한 필요도는 높게 나타났다. 치료경험이 없고 해당진료과가 아닌 의사(type3)는 피해여성에 대한 이해도가 높았고 성폭력관련 법지식과 관련기관에 대한 인지도도 높았다. 반면, 진료시 예상하는 어려움의 정도가 가장 높았으며, 피해여성 진료에 필요한 의료지원방안, 사정지원방안, 법정지원방안에 대한 필요도가 대체로 높게 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 의사유형별 차이점에 따라 성폭력피해자 진료가능성을 증진시킬 수 있는 방안과 성폭력피해자를 위한 의료지원방안이 제시되었다.

Microfinance is seen as a tool for poverty elimination by providing various services characterized as financial and non-financial to minority groups in the society to be included in the mainstream financial system. This paper seeks to examine the effect of microfinance institutions' (MFIs) financial and non-financial services on women's entrepreneurship and empowerment in Jordan as a developing country. To gain a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of microfinance services, the study is undertaken to address the question of what kinds of services are available and whether the MFI services are in line with the actual needs of women entrepreneurs to improve their performance. Hence, a qualitative approach was adopted in this study using semi-structured interview questions to collect data from twenty-four women entrepreneurs in Jordan. The results showed that, as regards financial services, the most important needs of women entrepreneurs include providing adequate financing with necessary financial facilities such as reducing interest, reducing monthly installments, and extending the grace period, while non-financial services should include holding specialized courses, accessing a counseling center, providing incentives and psychological support, marketing support, and monitoring and evaluation. This study concluded that factors associated with MFI play a crucial role to uplift women entrepreneurs and eliminate gender inequality.

네팔의 보건부산하 보건서비스부서에서는 5개년계획을 게우고 있으며, 지방에서 기본적인 보건의료서비스제공을 위한 주요 전략으로 일차보건의료사업을 하고 있다. 그러나 자유화 정책(Liberation policy)으로 인해 도시지역의 전문화된 서비스 개발, 인간자원 개발, 경영강화와 민간 및 대외 투자 등이 활발해졌다. 그러나 네팔은 아직도 높은 출산력, 영양결핍, 전염병, 높은 사망률 등을 겪고 있는 데 이는 조기결혼, 미신적인 전통신앙과 행동, 비위생적 생활, 빈곤, 문명, 감독과 모니터링의 결핍, 높은 인구밀도, 민간 및 대외활동에 더 많이 투자해야 하고; 인력개발 및 전문화된 서비스가 관리되어야 하며; 경영기술이 강화되고 이전사업의 평가를 통해 향후 사업수행상의 오류를 피할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 이러한 것들이 개선된다면 네필주민의 건강목표는 달성될 것이다.
