The purpose of this study is to suggest implications from the case of health information service for patients in overseas hospital libraries. A total of 89 overseas hospital libraries were selected, including general hospitals, specialized hospitals, women's hospitals, children's hospitals, and veterans' hospitals. The health information service that is provided in general and common in 89 hospital libraries was surveyed and the differentiated health information service was investigated next. As a result, first, it can be seen that the establishment of hospital libraries and the provision of health information services are common outside of Korea. Second, various human resources such as librarians, health information specialists, medical specialists, social workers, clinical librarians, health education specialists, and volunteers are utilized. Third, it provides not only print materials but also various information sources such as electronic materials, websites, pamphlets, brochures, and provides health information in various languages. Fourth, in providing health (information literacy) education and programs, services are provided through linkage with hospitals, local public libraries, and local communities. The implications for domestic hospital libraries are as follows: First, the change of awareness of the establishment of hospital libraries and the provision of health information services; second, the support of the curriculum and associations and the need for continuing education; third, it is necessary to link with related organizations for mandatory and diversification of health information services in hospital libraries.

Cluster industries are geographically concentrated and inter-connected by the flow of goods and services, which is stronger than the flow linking them to the rest of the economy. Photonics industries are one of the fastest growing high-tech industries in the world today. Especially, the city of Gwangju(South Korea) industrial cluster, a specialized complex in photonics industry, produced remarkable results in developing high-quality technologies since it launched the cluster program in 2005. Gwangju photonics industrial cluster will be ranked top level of the world photonics industry. In this sense, this study is aimed at proposing a new research model in which corporate performance influence factors of photonics industrial cluster (i.e., business environment, cooperative relationship, and industry-university-research institute partnership) affect absorptive capacity positively, leading to corporate performance eventually. This study developed a research model to explain the Korean photonics industrial cluster effects, and collected 91 survey responses from photonics based company managers in industrial cluster complex. To prove the validity of the proposed research model, PLS analysis is applied with valid 91 questionnaires. By employing PLS technique, the measurement reliability and validity of research variables are tested and the path analysis is conducted to do the hypothesis testing. In brief, the finding of this study suggests that corporate performance influence factors of photonics industrial cluster affect absorptive capacity positively, and corporate performance as well.

The purpose of this study is to establish the basement of nail industries and suggest a direction for the future of the specialized nail service. besides looks at characteristics of the aged 20's to 50's, who is expected as nail shop's main customers. The results of this study are briefly summarized as follows: First, the answer wanting professional hand care was more than half (53.3%). It turned out that customers prefer basic manicure such as hand massage(43.4%) and cuticle removal(31.1%) than nail art(15.2%) and nail improvement care(10.3%) in professional nail care. The basic manicure are in remarkably high demand which are often received with nail art and nail improvement care. There were more interests in nail services and better hand health condition in the 30's group than 40's. Also significantly higher in a unmarried group than married. this results show that professional hand care is highly related to a good condition of hands and additionally life satisfaction of customers. We were convinced of the direction of inner beauty and satisfaction beyond the visible. At the same time, exploring specific methods to internally satisfy customers remains to be a challenge.

The existing emergency medical systems are unable to obtain accurate clinical information, so most of the specialized first aid is being done within the hospital. In this paper, designed medical information transfer structure based on medical information standards HL7 for accurate first aid is proposed. The designed system can share clinical information and emergency medical information in terms of standard HL7 messages. Therefore, the correct first aid is available in steps taken by the hospital. In addition, the system of this paper has been implemented based on the OSGi service platform for the efficient integration with other health-related services.

The object of this paper is to increase in domestic use of export factoring for small and medium trading companies. Factoring involves a process where a specialized firm assumes the responsibility for the administration and collection of account receivable for its clients. It can be considered a form of short term commercial financing based on selling of trade credit at a discount, or for a prescribed fee plus interest. The youngest and smallest businesses cannot receive working capital for account receivable for export from financial companies, while larger businesses tend to have less need for factoring services. Using export factoring provide a valuable improvement to cash flow and working capital position and can possibly contribute to small business growth and development. There are several suggestions for export factoring to activate in Korea. First, the number of factoring companies need to be enlarge to activate export factoring in trade and financial policies. Second, factoring companies have to perform public relations for trading companies to inform the export factoring system and its advantages. Third, government need to support the system of export factoring with legislation and financial instruments. Forth, trading companies need to be reformed credit inquiry system in terms of expenses and methods by government This paper has attempted to emphasize on export factoring for small and medium size exporting companies and deserves more research by academics, practitioners and trade policy makers.

Intelligent Peripheral(IP) system is to provide specialized resource functions (SRF) such as playing announcement, collecting user information, and receiving messages in the Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN). We analyze the call processing capacity of an AIN IP system being developed in ETRI through an extensive simulation using SLAM II under a variety of AIN service scenarios. We consider televoting (VOT) and universal personal telecommunication (UPT) services which are to be provided at the fit implementation of the AIN in Korea. As the performance criteria to determine the call processing capacity, processor utilization, delay and call loss probability are considered. It turns out that the major processor called SAMP is the bottleneck processor, the service response delay dominates the delay performance, and the call loss probability becomes the primary criterion in determining the call processing capacity of the AIN IP system. It is also shown that the call processing capacity of the AIN IP system is determined by the utilization of the processor and the delay performance when the VOT ratio is below 70 percent but it is determined by the call loss probability due to the lack of service channels for providing the SRF operations.

Recently in Korea, the need has increased for the systematization of the qualifications of subject specialist librarians who have both knowledge and work experience on specific subject. The purpose of this study is to analyze the domestic situation of subject special library services as well as the education backgrounds or work experience of current subject librarians in Korea. At the end, the study attempts to suggest an appropriate framework for the qualification system establishment and operation in Korea based on the supply and demand analysis of domestic subject specialist librarians.

This paper presents Web service based ASP (WS-ASP) model for QR(Quick Response) system, supply chain management system in the textiles and clothing industry. The Korean textiles and clothing industry is mostly composed of medium and small-sized companies, which are not capable of recruiting If specialists and making a large scale investment in IT. ASP model not only let them obtain QR system at relatively low usage cost, but also take higher vendor risk due to high dependency. This paper argue that WS-ASP model is appropriate for QR systems by complimenting ASP model with lower vender risk, which results from re-integrating software-on-demand services distributed to several QR specialized WS-ASP vendors.

The purpose of this paper is to systemize the spatial studies of logistics industry by arranging the partially scattered current studies on spatial studies of logistics industry overall. Logistics industry now builds a complex spatial organization which has been developed to the stages of independent optimization by materials management and physical distribution providing specialized logistics services, logistics, and supply chain management including IT and management step by step. The complex spatial organization of logistics industry has been systematized with geographical space and virtual space, disintegration and integration, and intermediation and disintermediation. The three areas reported a dynamic characteristic overlapped in space. The dynamic characteristic has a dose relationship with interaction between IT and space of economic activities.

In order to efficiently and preemptively respond to financial security threats that are becoming more sophisticated and intelligent, and to enable financial users to receive financial services safely, financial information security professionals are needed. However, as of 2015, the number of financial IT security personnel was 4.9%, which is slightly lower than the previous year, but still low. In this study, it is expected that the number of experts in financial security will increase gradually. In order to verify the minimum performance of financial security professionals and enhance the security consciousness, the subjects of the existing security qualification system, Curriculum and inspection techniques to analyze the necessity of introducing information security specialization specialized in financial sector.
