상동 및 울진지역 주석 화강암질암의 지구화학 자료에 대한 다변량해석 (Multivariate Analysis of the Geochemical Data of Tin-bearing Granitoids in the Sangdong and the Ulchin Areas, Korea)

  • Tin mineralizations in South Korea have been found only in the Ulchin and Sangdong areas. They appear to be in close spatial association with the Wangpiri granitoid in the UlChin area, and the Nonggeori and Naedeogri granites in the Sangdong area. However, previous works have revealed that there are considerable differences in geological setting, mineralogical and geochemical compositions among these granitoids concerned. The roles of discriminant and multiple regression analysis have been examed to establish geochemical differences among the tin-granitoids and to identify elements relating to tin mineralizations. The data set used in this study consists of 60 observations with 29 elements which are cited from pre-existing publications. A stepwise discriminant analysis determined the group of variables that differentiate between samples from four training sets; Buncheon, Wangpiri, Nonggeori and Naedeogri granitoids. These granitoids were most effectively discriminated on the basis of major elements FeO, CaO and $P_2O_5$ and also by the trace elements Rb and Zr. Results of the multiple regression analysis shows that the level of Sn in granitoids depends positively on ones of MnO, Rb and FeO and negatively $P_2O_5$. Graphical representation of discriminant scores on sampling locations greatly aid recognition of differences in the geochemical characteristics in terms of spatial distribution of granitoids examed. The application of the discriminant analysis provides a potential means of identifying and comparing geochemical characteristics.

동래온천의 장기적인 수질 변동 특성 (Characteristics of Long-term Water Quality Trend of Dongrae Hot Spring)

  • 본 연구에서는 1922년부터 2019년까지 동래온천수의 장기적인 온천수 수질 변화 특성을 살펴보았다. Mann-Kendall 분석과 Sen의 기울기에 의해서 동래온천수의 장기적인 수질 특성 변화를 분석하면, 온도, Ca, SiO2, HCO3는 증가 추세를 보이는 반면에 EC, Na, K, Mg, Cl, SO4은 감소 추세를 보이거나 또는 거의 추세 변화를 보이지 않는다. 동래온천수의 수질유형은 시간경과에도 변하지 않고 Na-Cl형에 안정적으로 속하고 있다. 2004년, 2009년, 2014년, 2019년의 수질 자료를 이용한 공간 분포도에 의하면, 시기별로 변동을 보이며, 시료 채취 지점에 따라 값의 변화를 보인다. 이는 장기적인 온천수 개발에도 불구하고 동래온천수의 공간적인 수질 특성은 거의 일정하다는 것을 지시한다.

  • 최근 모바일 기기성능의 비약적인 향상에도 불구하고 아직 발열과 배터리의 한계로 인하여 PC 플랫폼에 비해 성능이 제한적이다. 따라서 고화질의 렌더링을 위하여 모바일 광선 추적 기술을 적용하는데 있어, 주 광선 계산은 래스터화 기반의 OpenGL ES 렌더링으로 대치한 후 이차 광선만을 추적하는 방법을 고려할 수 있다. 이 경우 전체 렌더링 과정에서 이차 광선의 추적 비용이 대부분의 시간을 차지하게 되는데, 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 동적인 장면 렌더링 시 응집성이 떨어지는 이차 광선의 탐색 성능을 개선하는 볼륨 격자 구조 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 가능한 모든 이차 광선을 정해진 적은 수의 샘플링 광선으로 모델링하여, 균일 격자 구조의 단점인 광선 추적 경로상의 모든 셀을 방문해야하는 문제를 완화하는 방법으로 격자 탐색의 성능을 향상시켰다. 또한 전체 렌더링 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 모바일 기기의 CPU와 GPU를 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 하이브리드 렌더링 파이프라인을 제안한다.

강하분진의 화학적 특성파악을 위한 통계학적 해석 (Statistical Analysis for Chemical Characterization of Fall-Out Particles)

  • Fall-out particles were collected by the modified British deposit gauges at 35 sampling sites in Suwon area from January to November, 1996. Twenty chemical species (Al. Ba, Cd, Cr, K, Pb, Sb, Zn, Cu, Fe, Ni, V, F-, Cl-, NO3-, 5042-, Na+, NH4+, Mg2+, and Ca2+) were analyzed by AAS and If. The purposes of this study were to estimate qualitatively various emission sources of the fell-out particle by applying multivariate statistical techniques such as factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, and discriminant analysis. During the study, outlier sites were determined by a z-score method. Cl-, Na+, Mg2+, and SO42- were highly correlated due to their common marine related source. Wind speed was the most influential factor for the deposition fluxes of the particle itself and all the chemical species as well. When applying the factor analysis, 8 source patterns were qualitatively obtained, such as marine source, soil source, oil burning source, Cr related source, tire source, Cd related source, agriculture source, and F- related source. As a result of the multiple regression analysis, we could suggest that some chemical compounds may possibly exist in the form of CaSO4, NaN03, NaCl, MgC12, (NH4)2SO4, NaF, and CaCl2 in the fall-out particles. Finally, spatial and seasonal classification study performed by a discriminant analysis showed th.at SO42-, Ca2+, Cl-, and Fe were dominant in the group of spatial pattern; however, SO42-, Cl-, Al, and V were in the group of seasonal pattern.

Analysis of Geometric and Spatial Image Quality of KOMPSAT-3A Imagery in Comparison with KOMPSAT-3 Imagery

  • This study investigates the geometric and spatial image quality analysis of KOMPSAT-3A stereo pair. KOMPSAT-3A is, the latest satellite of KOMPSAT family, a Korean earth observation satellite operating in optical bands. A KOMPSAT-3A stereo pair was taken on 23 November, 2015 with 0.55 m ground sampling distance over Terrassa area of Spain. The convergence angle of KOMPSAT-3A stereo pair was estimated as $58.68^{\circ}$. The investigation was assessed through the evaluation of the geopositioning analysis, image quality estimation and the accuracy of automatic Digital Surface Model (DSM) generation and compared with those of KOMPSAT-3 stereo pair with the convergence angle of $44.80^{\circ}$ over the same area. First, geopositioning accuracy was tested with initial rational polynomial coefficients (RPCs) and after compensating the biases of the initial RPCs by manually collected ground control points. Then, regarding image quality, relative edge response was estimated for manually selected points visible from two stereo pairs. Both of the initial and bias-compensated positioning accuracy and the quality assessment result expressed that KOMPSAT-3A images showed higher performance than those of KOMPSAT-3 images. Finally, the accuracy of DSMs generated from KOMPSAT-3A and KOMPSAT-3 stereo pairs were examined with respect to the reference LiDAR-derived DSM. The various DSMs were generated over the whole coverage of individual stereo pairs with different grid spacing and over three types of terrain; flat, mountainous and urban area. Root mean square errors of DSM from KOMPSAT-3A pair were larger than those for KOMPSAT-3. This seems due to larger convergence angle of the KOMPSAT-3A stereo pair.

스쿠버다이빙 강사의 비언어적 커뮤니케이션 능력, 신뢰 및 지속적 참여의도와의 관계 (Relations among the Non-Verbal Communication Abilities of Scuba Diving Instructors, Users' Coach Trust and Continuous Participating Intention)

  • 본 연구는 스쿠버다이빙 참여자의 비언어적 커뮤니케이션과 지도자 신뢰 및 참여지속의도 간의 관계를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 목적 달성을 위해 강원도에 소재한 스쿠버다이빙 리조트 3곳의 이용자와 경기도에 소재한 스쿠버다이빙 풀 2곳의 이용자를 대상으로 편의표본추출법을 통해 최종 유효 표본 총 267부를 선정하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 단순회귀분석 및 중다회귀분석을 실시하였으며 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 비언어적 커뮤니케이션의 신체언어와 유사언어는 지도자 신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 공간행위와 신체외양은 유의미 하지 않았다. 둘째, 지도자 신뢰는 참여지속의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 비언어적 커뮤니케이션의 신체언어는 참여지속의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 공간행위, 유사언어, 신체외양은 참여지속의도에 유의미하지 않았다.

수동 RFID 환경에서의 공간/시간 정보를 이용한 이동로봇의 효율적 위치 추정 기법 (Efficient Localization of a Mobile Robot Using Spatial and Temporal Information from Passive RFID Environment)

  • 본 논문에서는 수동 RFID 환경에서 획득되는 위치 및 시간 정보를 이용하여, 태그가 배치된 노면을 주행하는 이동로봇의 위치를 효과적으로 추정하는 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 위치 추정 기법은 기존 연구에 비해 위치 추정 오차를 감소시키고 또한 초기 태그 배치 비용을 감소시키는 효과가 있다. 기본적으로 이동로봇이 일련의 직선 구간을 구간별로 일정한 속도로 주행하며, 또한 매 순간 이동로봇에 의해 감지되는 태그의 수는 한 개 이하라고 가정한다. 첫째, 이미 알려진 지점을 출발하여 정속 직선 주행하는 이동로봇의 속도 및 위치를 추정하는 알고리즘을 개발하는데, 이는 최초를 제외한 여타 구간의 경우에 유효하다. 다음, 최초 구간의 경우 출발 위치를 모르는 상태이므로, 이동로봇이 두 개 이상의 태그를 정속 직선 주행하도록 하여 이동로봇의 속도 및 위치를 추정한다. 마지막으로, 제작된 수동 RFID 위치 추정 시스템을 이용한 실험을 통해 본 논문에서 제안된 이동로봇 위치 추정 기법의 유효성 및 성능을 입증한다.

  • For mapping the distribution of heavy metals in the mining area, field spectroscopy and hyperspectral remote sensing were used in this study. Although heavy metals are spectrally featureless from the visible to the short wave infrared range, possible variations in spectral signal due to heavy metals bound onto minerals can be explained with the metal binding reaction onto the mineral surface. Variations in the spectral absorption shapes of lattice OH and oxygen on the mineral surface due to the combination of heavy metals were surveyed over the range from 420 to 2400 nm. Spectral parameters such as peak ratio and peak area were derived and statistically linked to metal concentration levels in the streambed samples collected from the dry stream channels. The spatial relationships between spectral parameters and concentrations of heavy metals were yielded as well. Based on the observation at a ground level for the relationship between spectral signal and metal concentration levels, the spectral parameters were classified in a hyperspectral image and the spatial distribution patterns of classified pixels were compared with the product of analysis at the ground level. The degree of similarity between ground dataset and image dataset was statistically validated. These techniques are expected to support assessment of dispersion of heavy metal contamination and decision on optimal sampling point.

도시하천(갑천) 유역에서 수질오염의 공간적 특성 (Spatial Characterization of Water Pollution in the Urban Stream Watershed (Gap Stream), Korea)

  • Spatial distribution of water pollution in the Gap Stream was investigated from October to November, 2005. Sampling was conducted three times including effluents discharged from a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and a dam reservoir during the low-flow period. As a typical urban stream, total nitrogen and inorganic nitrogen concentrations increased toward downstream. Ammonia concentration was the highest in the treated water of the wastewater treatment plant and the lowest nitrate concentration was found in the effluent of the dam reservoir. A part of soluble reactive phosphorous (SRP) in total phosphorous was 22~54% in the upstream reach of WWTP in the Gap Stream whereas 68~73% in the downstream reach. Mean chlorophyll-a concentration ranged from 1.6 to $11.0{\mu}g/L$ and it tends to increase toward downstream except for WWTP effluent. As expected, untreated wastewater and WWTP effluent were suggested as the major sources of water pollution in the Gap Stream. In this study, the water pollution of the Gap Stream is a significant undergoing typical eutrophication, caused by excessive phosphorus and nitrogen nutrients from WWTP located in the watershed. As a result, the critical factor for the water pollution was evaluated to dissolved inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients. Particularly, SRP is a most important for the eutrophication. It suggest that may occur in the most urban streams of Korean peninsula. Therefore, because the necessity of water pollution management in the urban stream, inorganic N and P nutrients should be included as an essential component of water quality criteria in the advanced water quality project of Korean Government by enforcing of water quality assessment and total maximum daily loads (TMDLs).

표층수를 방류하는 저수지(용담호)에서 몬순 탁수환경의 공간적 해석 (Spatial Interpretation of Monsoon Turbid-water Environment in a Reservoir (Yongdam) Discharging Surface Water, Korea)

  • In this study, temperature, turbidity, suspended paniculate matter (SPM) distribution and mineral characteristics were investigated to explain spatial distribution of the turbid-water environment of Yongdam reservoir in July, 2005. Six stations were selected along a longitudinal axis of the reservoir and sampling was conducted in four depths of each station. Water temperature was showed the typical stratified structure by the effects of irradiance and inflow. Content of inorganic matter in suspended particles increased with the concentration of suspended particulate matter (SPM) due to the reduction of ash-free dry matter (AFDM). Turbidity ranged from 0.6 to 95.1 NTU and the maximum turbidity value of each station sharply increased toward downstream from upstream. The high turbidity layers were located at the depth between 12~16 m. Particle size ranged from 0.435 to $482.9{\mu}m$. day and silt-sized particles corresponded 91.9~98.9% and 1.1~8.0% in total numbers of SPM, respectively. Turbidity showed high correlations with clay (r=0.763, p<0.05) and silt content (r=0.870, p<0.05).Inorganic matter content (r=0.960, p<0.01) was more correlated with turbidity than organic matter (r=0.823, p<0.05). Mineral characterization using x-ray diffraction and electron probe microanalyzer demonstrated that the major minerals contained in the SPM were kaolinite, illite, vermiculite and smectite. As results of this study, surface water discharge as well as small size of the SPM were suggested as long-term interfering factors in settling down the turbid water in the reservoir.
