  • This paper presents a multiple-watermarking scheme for copyright protection and the prevention of illegal copying of mobile 3D contents with low resolution. The proposed scheme embeds a unique watermark and a watermark certification authority (WCA) watermark into the spatial and encryption domains of a mobile 3D content based on the buyer-seller watermarking protocol. The seller generates a unique watermark and embeds it into the local maximum curvedness of a 3D object. After receiving the encrypted watermark from the WCA, the seller embeds it into the encrypted vertex data using an operator that satisfies the privacy homomorphic property. The proposed method was implemented using a mobile content tool, and the experimental results verify its capability in terms of copyright protection and the prevention of illegal copying.

  • In this paper, we propose a technique for spatially encrypting confidential data into R, G, B planes of color image and extracting spatially encrypted confidential data. The effectiveness of the proposed technique is verified by mathematically analyzing the quality of the stego-image generated using the proposed technique. The proposed technique can hide confidential data securely into cover image by spatially encrypting the confidential data, and can extract confidential data from the stego-image. The quality of the stego-image created by applying the proposed technique is very good. The average value of the quality of the stego-image is 51.14 dB. Therefore, it is not visually recognizable whether the confidential data is hidden in the stego-image. The proposed technique can be widely used for military and intellectual property protection.

  • Digital watermarking is a technique used to hide information within digital media. Digital watermarking techniques can be classified as either robust watermarking or fragile watermarking. Robust watermarking techniques are generally used for the purpose of copyright protection. In addition, fragile watermarking techniques are used for the authentication and integrity verification of a digital image. Therefore, fragile watermarks should be easily breakable for trivial tampering of a watermarked image. This paper proposes an efficient fragile watermarking method for image tamper detection in the spatial domain. In the proposed method, a hash code and symmetric key encryption algorithm are used. The proposed method of inserting a watermark by dividing the original image into many blocks of small sizes is not weak against attacks, such as cut and paste. The proposed method can detect the manipulated parts of a watermarked image without testing the entire block of the image.

  • In this paper an optical encryption system, which can decrypt the original image by using the autocorrelation terms of a JTC, is proposed. Unlike the classical JTC, the joint input plane of the proposed system is composed in a frequency domain not a spatial domain, thus it needs only one Fourier transformation. To use like this, the phase component appeared in the output plane of JTC should be considered. We presents the effect of phase and provides the solution. An original image is encrypted to a complex-valued random image. The original image is reconstructed using the autocorrelation terms which is the main drawback of JTC, therefore the proposed system is more suitable for JTC and real time processing. By computer simulation and optical experiment, the analysis for the phase effect and the performance of the proposed system are confirmed.

  • In telemedicaine, people can make their health checked at anywhere from temporal and spatial constraints and It's environment can provide continuous health information regardless of the location of customers through PCs and smart phones. In addition, personal health information collected utilizing the BYOD(bring your own device) is the most important factor data security and guaranteed personal privacy because it's directly connected to the individual's health and life. In this paper, we provide a signature of the private key encryption system and method for providing the security of personal health information data collected utilizing the BYOD. Against replay attacks and man-in-the-middle attacks on security issues that are emerging as a smart environmental health was used as the timestamp and signature methods. Proposed method provides encryption overhead, while a communication was lower compared to the pre-encrypted with a mean 1.499mJ 1.212mJ shown by simulation to respond quickly in an emergency situation to be about 59%.

  • Mobile Crowdsourcing (MCS) has become an emerging paradigm evolved from crowdsourcing by employing advanced features of mobile devices such as smartphones to perform more complicated, especially spatial tasks. One of the key procedures in MCS is to collect answers from mobile users (workers), which may face several security issues. First, authentication is required to ensure that answers are from authorized workers. In addition, MCS tasks are usually location-dependent, so the collected answers could disclose workers' location privacy, which may discourage workers to participate in the tasks. Finally, the overhead occurred by authentication and privacy protection should be minimized since mobile devices are resource-constrained. Considering all the above concerns, in this paper, we propose a lightweight and privacy-preserving answer collection scheme for MCS. In the proposed scheme, we achieve anonymous authentication based on traceable ring signature, which provides authentication, anonymity, as well as traceability by enabling malicious workers tracing. In order to balance user location privacy and data availability, we propose a new concept named current location privacy, which means the location of the worker cannot be disclosed to anyone until a specified time. Since the leakage of current location will seriously threaten workers' personal safety, causing such as absence or presence disclosure attacks, it is necessary to pay attention to the current location privacy of workers in MCS. We encrypt the collected answers based on timed-release encryption, ensuring the secure transmission and high availability of data, as well as preserving the current location privacy of workers. Finally, we analyze the security and performance of the proposed scheme. The experimental results show that the computation costs of a worker depend on the number of ring signature members, which indicates the flexibility for a worker to choose an appropriate size of the group under considerations of privacy and efficiency.

  • Digital watermarks have recently been proposed for the purposes of copyright ptotechtion and autheutication for multimedia contents. A watermarking technique consists of an algorithm that incorporates a watermarking structure into an image in the spatial or frequency domains. In this paper we proposed a new watermarking method for authentication and integrity of digital images and the proposed algorithm uses the MD5 hash funiction and a symmetric key encryption algorithm. To decide the position of embedding watermark and the bit pasitionin the original image, the secret key is used as an input of the MD5 hash function. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has the advantage of difficulty to find positions of inserted watermarks, and keep the similar watermarked image quabty with Wong's method.

  • Reversible data hiding is a technique to hide any data without affecting the original image. Zhang proposed the encryption of original image and a data hiding scheme in encrypted image. First, the encrypted image is decrypted and uses the fluctuation function which exploits the spatial correlation property of decrypted image to extract hidden data. In this paper, the new fluctuation function is proposed to reduce errors which arise from the process extracting hidden data and the performance is verified by simulation.

  • Steganography is to hide information in a media data so naturally that the other users can not notice the existence of hidden information. Data encryption focuses on the complex encoding methods of information data in order to make it difficult to decode the information even though the other users notice the existence of information. On the other hand, steganography methods concentrate on natural hiding information into other media. Since the other users do not recognize the existence of hidden information, the information can be better protected. This paper introduces the concept of image steganography that an image information is concealed into another image (cover image), and proposes a new discrimination method of steganography. This paper explains the spatial methods with LSB manipulation and frequency methods using DCT coefficients. Finally, this paper proposes a new discrimination method of image steganography by inspecting that an image information is correctly decoded.
