가려진 마이크로폰을 이용한 음원 위치 추적 (Sound Source Localization using Acoustically Shadowed Microphones)

  • In many practical applications of robots, finding the location of an incoming sound is an important issue for the development of efficient human robot interface. Most sound source localization algorithms make use of only those microphones that are acoustically visible from the sound source or do not take into account the effect of sound diffraction, thereby degrading the sound source localization performance. This paper proposes a new sound source localization method that can utilize those microphones that are acoustically shadowed from the sound source. The experiment results show that use of the acoustically shadowed microphones, which receive higher signal-to-noise ratio signals than the others and are closer to the sound source, improves the performance of sound source localization.

공간평가를 위한 피스톨음원의 적정성에 관한 연구 (A Study of Enemy Aptitude of Pistol Sound Source for Space Estimation)

  • Last target of architectural acoustics is that people wish to convey voice effectively from the space adaptively in use purpose in building. But, how exactly through space sound (sound source) that wish to deliver from indoor can be passed method to do quantification and evaluate quantity of sound by method to serve indoor architectural acoustics estimation summer period and methods to estimate definition propose. This Study searches special quality of sound source about MLS signal that is occurred short-answer sound source (pistol sound source) and nondirectional speaker among indoor sound estimation method, and measure and analyzed reverberation time (RT60), definition (C80, D50) by regulation of each ISO 3382 in age place (classroom, hall, gymnasium). Analysis result and sound factor among could know that d of two sound sources converges in measurement error extent about reverberation time (RT60) of analysis incidental and sound factors and value shows change irregularly about sound factor of D50, C80, pistol sound source judged there is problem. Also, could know that problem is happened in deflection except reverberation time is in deflection analysis with wave that measure each in fixed distance in branch. Finally, when differ size of sound source and measure about change of sound pressure level in case measure sound pressure level giving difference about 10 dB, sound factor could know that there is no different effect.

Investigation of the Speech Intelligibility of Classrooms Depending on the Sound Source Location

  • The present study aims to investigate the effects of speaker location on the speech intelligibility in a classroom. In order to this, acoustic measurements were undertaken in a classroom with three different sound source locations such as center of front wall (FC), both sides of front wall (FS) and the center of ceiling (CC). SPL, RT, $D_{50}$, RASTI were measured in the 9 measurement points with same sound power level of sound source and MLS was used as the sound source signal. Also, subjective listening tests were carried out using Korean language listening materials which were recorded in an anechoic chamber. The recorded syllables were replayed and recorded again in the classroom with same sound source at three different locations and listening tests were undertaken to 20 respondents who were asked to write the correct syllables which were recorded in the classroom. The results show that higher sound intelligibility ($D_{50}$ of $47\%$, RASTI of 0.56) was obtained when sound source was located at the FS. The results also show that high sound intelligibility was obtained at the area nearby walls.

이산 웨이블릿 변환 기반 디-노이징 필터를 이용한 향상된 음원 위치 추정 연구 (Advanced Sound Source Localization Study Using De-noising Filter based on the Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT))

  • In this paper, a study of advanced sound source localization is conducted by eliminating the noise of the sound source using the discrete wavelet transform. And experiments are conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed system that the mobile robot follows sound source stably. In addition, we compare the position estimation performance by applying a discrete wavelet transform to improve the reliability of the sound signal. The experimental results reveal that the de-nosing filter which removes the noise component in sound source can make the performance of position estimation more precisely and help the mobile robot distinguish the objective sound source clearly.

현장실험에서 음원의 입사각도에 따른 창의 차음성능 변화 (Variations of the Sound Insulation Performance of the Windows for the Sound Source Angle in the Field Test)

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the sound insulation performance of windows according to the sound source in the field test. For this purpose, an experiment was performed by KSF 2235(method for field measurements of sound insulation of windows and doors). Based on this code, the sound insulation performance fo the windows was measured for different incident angles of the sound and the effect of incident angle was obtained and discussed. Finally, it was found that the sound insulation performance of the windows was affected by the incident angle of sound source, and the sound insulation rating scale was different for the same window. The main factor changing insulation rating scale is considered to be the sound transmission through the carck of the folding part between the two pieces of wndows. Therefore, when evaluating the sound insulation performance of the windows for the field test, first of all the place of the sound source should be identified and generalized.

마이크로폰 어레이를 이용한 이동 로봇의 음원 추적 제어 (Sound Source Tracking Control of a Mobile Robot Using a Microphone Array)

  • To follow a sound source by a mobile robot, the relative position and orientation of the sound source from the mobile robot have been estimated using a microphone array. In this research, the difference among the traveling times of the sound source to each of three microphones has been used to calculate the distance and orientation of the sound source from the mobile robot which carries the microphone array. The cross-correlation between two signals has been applied for detecting the time difference between two signals, which provides reliable and precise value of the time difference comparing to the conventional methods. To generate the tracking direction to the sound source, fuzzy rules are applied and the results are used to control the mobile robot in a real-time. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm has been demonstrated through the real experiments comparing to the conventional approaches.

사각영역이 없는 전방향 음원인식을 위한 QRAS 기반의 알고리즘 (QRAS-based Algorithm for Omnidirectional Sound Source Determination Without Blind Spots)

  • 음원의 음량, 방향 및 음원까지의 거리와 같은 음원의 특성을 인식하는 것은 자율주행차, 로봇 시스템, AI 스피커 등 무인 시스템에서 중요한 기술 중의 하나이다. 음원의 방향이나 거리를 인식하는 방법은 레이다, 라이더, 초음파 및 고주파와 소리를 이용하는 방법이 있다. 그러나 이러한 방법은 신호를 발신하여야 하며, 장애물에 의한 비가시 영역에서 발생하는 음원은 정확하게 인식할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 비가시 영역을 포함한 주변에서 발생하는 음원의 음량, 방향 및 음원까지의 거리를 인식하는 방법으로 가청 주파수 대역의 소리를 검출하여 인식하는 방법을 구현하고 평가하였다. 음원을 인식하기 위하여 주로 사용하는 교차형 기반의 음원인식 알고리즘은 음원의 음량과 방향을 인식할 수 있으나 사각영역이 발생하는 문제가 있다. 뿐만아니라 이 알고리즘은 음원까지의 거리를 인식할 수 없다는 제약이 있다. 이러한 기존 방법의 한계를 탈피하기 위하여, 본 논문에서는 교차형 기반의 알고리즘보다 더 발전된 직사각형 기법을 사용한 QRAS 기반의 알고리즘으로 음원의 음량, 방향 및 음원까지의 거리를 인식하여 음원의 특성을 파악할 수 있는 음원인식 알고리즘을 제안한다. 전방향 음원인식을 위한 QRAS 기반의 알고리즘은 직사각형으로 배치된 4개의 음향센서에 의하여 도출되는 6쌍의 음향 도착 시간차를 사용한다. QRAS 기반의 알고리즘은 기존 교차형 기반의 알고리즘으로 음원을 인식할 때 발생하는 사각영역과 같은 문제점을 해결할 수 있으며, 음원까지의 거리도 인식할 수 있다. 실험을 통하여 제안된 전방향 음원 인식을 위한 QRAS 기반의 알고리즘은 사각영역없이 음원의 음량, 방향 및 음원까지의 거리를 인식할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • It is diffuse sound field that measuring condition of absorption ratio and sound transmission loss for material consist of building are measured in reverberartion room and on-site. In this study, for upkeeping diffuse sound field in reverberation room, it is measured and etimated that sound field is effected according to sound source lacation and characteristics of emission directivity for sound source.

마이크로폰 배열로 발생되는 입력 시간차를 이용한 음원의 방향 추정 장치에 관한 연구 (A Study about Direction Estimate Device of the Sound Source using Input Time Difference by Microphones′ Arrangement)

  • Human uses level difference and time difference to get space information. Therefore this paper shows that method to presume direction of sound source by time difference and to mark presumed position. The position means direction from geometrical center of sensors to the sound source. To get the time difference of microphones input level, we will be explained about arrangement of microphones which used for the sensor to take the sound signal. It is included distance among the 3 microphones and distance between microphones and sound source. Secondly, input signals are transmitted to CPU througth digital process. CPU is used to DSP(Digital Signal Processor) for manage the signal by real time. Finally, the position of sound source is perceived by an explained algorithm in this paper.

소규모 공간에서의 잔향시간 영향요인 분석 (Analysis of the Factors affecting Reverberation Time in Small Room)

  • This study gives the results of the measurements and analysises of the reverberation times in a small room such as apartment houses. We measured the RT by changing measurement conditions, which were sound sources. sound source's positions, receiving point & height, sampling time and so on. The critical factor affecting reverberation time was sound source in unoccupied houses and the reverberation time differences between result of RT using impulsive and interrupted sound source was 0.3sec at 500Hz frequency. And the difference of RT due to sound sources affected the sound insulation such as apparent sound reduction index and sound level difference about 1dB at each frequency in unoccupied houses.
