POINTWISE BEHAVIOR OF THE POTENTIAL IN ANOMALOUS LOCALIZED RESONANCE: A NUMERICAL STUDY

  • It is discovered in [7] that a dielectric material is coated by a plasmonic material of negative permittivity with dissipation, then cloaking by anomalous localized resonance may occur as the dissipation tends to zero. In this paper, we investigate numerically the pointwise behavior of the potential in the shell when cloaking by anomalous localized resonance (CALR) occurs. By changing locations a dipole source, we can observe some localizing properties of the potential in the shell.

  • The carbon film was deposited by the electrolysis of methanol solution. From investigations of the Raman spectroscopy and the FTIR spectroscopy, the carbon film deposited by the electrolysis was identified the hydrogenated carbon film with the porous structure. The carbon film deposited by electrolysis of methanol was identified as the hydrogenated carbon film with porous structure.

  • Lead-acid battery is used widely as a power source at a automobile, industrial machines. folk lifts. U.P.S. etc. Since lead-acid battery is cheaper than any other ones. But this battery has many disadvantages such as heavy, low energy density, environment problem etc. In this article, We introduce potential step methods to investigate corrosion behaviour of positive grids for lead alloyes.

  • PMOS capacitors with Ce-policide electrode were fabricated by the SADS method to study the effects of activation condition on the C-V characteristics. For the activation temperature of $600^{\circ}C$ , the capacitor using CoSi$_2$ formed from Co/Ti bilayer as diffusion source showed excellent C-V properties and the increase in V$_{th}$ with the increasing activation time.   • Transient solution of asymmetric mechanical and thermal stresses for hollow cylinders made of functionally graded material is presented. Temperature distribution, as function of radial and circumferential directions and time, is analytically obtained, using the method of separation of variables and generalized Bessel function. A direct method is used to solve the Navier equations, using the Euler equation and complex Fourier series.

  • It is important to control the plasma characteristics for high quality plasma process. Recently, a novel method proposed by us, named as Enhanced-ICP, using periodic weak time-varying axial magnetic field added to a normal ICP source, has improved etch characteristics much. Variation of plasma characteristics according to the frequency of time-varying axial magnetic field have been measured and analyzed.

  • The characteristics of slow wave structure employed for backward wave oscillator expected to be a high power microwave source are studied analytically. The slow wave structure is a sinusodially corrugated wall waveguide. The waveguide is designed and transmitted characteristics for microwave are measured in the air. There exist literatures on high efficiency of enhansed radiation from backward wave oscillators involving plasmastudied experimentally another results.

  • The LED backlight can be designed to have the desired uniformity by using many combination of reflector patterns. The uniformity of the LED backlight can improve by applying the specially designed reflector patterns. In this paper, it was shown that the 72.7% of luminance uniformity of the LED backlight with reflector patterns was obtained by computer simulation.

  • The floor material is known as the most influential emission source of the residential building, because most floor material is made of wood compound and adhesive like a plywood flooring. Moreover, floor heating system keeps the inside temperature of the material high. As the emission of hazardous chemical compound from the construction material is influenced by many factors, it is necessary to analyze the emission characteristics of the floor material to improve IAQ. In this study, numerical analysis is performed to investigate the emission characteristics of the floor material affected by several factors such as temperature, air exchange rate, initial concentration, and internal diffusion coefficient. A simulation program is also written based on the mass transfer theory. The simulation results show that there is some level of difference on the TVOC concentration when each of the factors is variable.
