This paper proposes a rewriting algorithm of OWL-DL ontology query in SPARQL. Currently, to obtain inference results of given SPARQL queries, Web ontology repositories construct inference ontology models and match the SPARQL queries with the models. However, an inference model requires much larger space than its original base model, and reusability of the model is not available for other inferrable SPARQL queries. Therefore, the aforementioned approach is not suitable for large scale SPARQL query processing. To resolve tills issue, this paper proposes a novel SPARQL query rewriting algorithm that can obtain results by rewriting SPARQL queries and accomplishing query operations against the base ontology model. To achieve this goal, we first define OWL-DL inference rules and apply them on rewriting graph pattern in queries. The paper categorizes the inference rules and discusses on how these rules affect the query rewriting. To show the advantages of our proposal, a prototype system based on lena is implemented. For comparative evaluation, we conduct an experiment with a set of test queries and compare of our proposal with the previous approach. The evaluation result showed the proposed algorithm supports an improved performance in efficiency of the inferrable SPARQL query processing without loss of completeness and soundness.

This study intended to analyze reinforcement effects of PSC I girder bridges to which prestresses are introduced using V type of external strands. So that series of bridge loading tests are carried out on existing PSC I girder bridge for the cases of before-reinforcement and reinforcement. The measured results from tests being analyzed and compared with the ones from MIDAS structural analyzing program, the reinforcing effects of the reinforcement system adopted in this study were investigated. It is found out that when the V type systems are applied to the bridge girders, the slope of load distribution factor curves become lower improving soundness of bridge upper structure. And also it is confirmed that the reinforcement system in this study can be taken as helpful for improvement of both flexural and shear ability of PSC I girder bridges, as well as dynamic behavior. Furthermore it is found when the elastic pads are applied to the system, dynamic reinforcing effects are maximized.
The Mutual Financial Cooperatives(MFCs) in Korea need to make efforts to increase efficiency and productivity in order to secure stable and sustainable growth and competitiveness. Therefore, this study analyzes the efficiency and productivity of MFCs from 2012 to 2018 and suggests some implications. The methodology employed is a Dynamic-Network Slacks-Based Measure(DNSBM) Model. The findings from an empirical study include that first, on average efficiency scores of the institutions, NH(0.225) showed the highest overall efficiency, and followed by SH(0.128) and MG(0.126). After 2015, most of the MFCs' efficiency scores had risen until to 2018. Second, in divisional analysis, the inefficiency in creating the high profitability-stage had been greater than establishing-funds-stage. Third, in projection analysis of Division 2, the inefficiency of the output factors such as interest income and operating income was severe. Fourth, the results from the Malmquist Productivity Index analysis of Division 1 of the fist-stage illustrate that all three MFCs showed minus catch-up effects. Also, a soundness from reducing bad loans and expansion of loans in combination with generating various ways of creating profits besides the interest income is urgently needed for Korean MFCs.

This study aims to develop an analysis model using a commercial process simulator-ASPEN PLUS for an IGCC (Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle) system consisting a dry coal feeding, oxygen-blown entrained gasification process by Shell, a low temperature gas clean up process, a General Electric MS7001FA gas turbine, a three pressure, natural recirculation heat recovery steam generator, a regenerative, condensing steam turbine and a cryogenic air separation unit. The comparison between those results of this study and reference one done by other engineer at design conditions shows consistency which means the soundness of this model. The greater moisture contents in Illinois#6 coal causes decreasing gasifier temperature and the greater ash and sulfur content hurt system efficiency due to increased heat loss. As the results of sensitivity analysis using developed model for the parameters of gasifier operating pressure, steam/coal ratio and oxygen/coal ratio, the gasifier temperature increases while combustible gases (CO+H2) decreases throughout the pressure going up. In the steam/coal ratio analysis, when the feeding steam increases the maximum combustible gas generation point moves to lower oxygen/coal ratio feeding condition. Finally, for the oxygen/coal ratio analysis, it shows oxygen/coal ratio 0.77 as a optimum operating condition at steam/coal feeding ratio 0.2.

This study was performed to assess therapeutic effect of the tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) in dogs with experimentally transected cranial cruciate ligaments (CrCL). Nine healthy adult Beagle dogs were transected left CrCL under general anesthesia. The dogs were assigned to TPLO and non-TPLO control groups. The TPLO procedures for correcting the CrCL rupture in the left stifle of dogs were performed under sterile conditions. Before TPLO procedures, all dogs were screened by orthopedic and radiographic examinations. Dogs were lameness free for the previous three months, and when examined at the walk and trot on a hard surface, in a straight line and on a circle. Lateral and craniocaudal radiographs were done to confirm the soundness of the both knee joint in dogs and not detectable lesions were diagnosed. The dogs were intravenously injected with a 10 mci/kg of 99mTechnetium-methylene diphosphonate (99mTc-MDP) under general anesthesia. Scintigraphs were obtained using a large field of view gamma camera equipped a parallel-hole, low-energy about 3 hours after intravenous injection of 99mTc-MDP. Before CrCL transection and 4, 8, and 12 weeks after the procedures, scintigraphy were conducted. Bone uptake of the left stifle joint increased after the procedures in all dogs. When the bone uptake from the TPLO procedure was compared with that of the control, there was a significant difference (p < 0.05). At 12 weeks after the TPLO procedure, the dogs showed normal anatomical posture and gait. It is concluded that TPLO procedure was effective in reconstruct of the stifle joint in dogs with CrCL rupture.
This study examined the soundness, vibration, and size of ambulances currently used in Korea as well as the comfort and convenience of ambulancesin Korea. The target vehicles were measured and investigated using the currently used freight type, van type, and Benz ambulance. Currently, the ambulance standards in Korea have only formal production standards, and there is no regulation on safety for ambulances, space regulation for first aid, comfort, and convenience. Therefore, comparative experiments on the comfort and convenience were measured using noise and vibration measurement experiments, and research was conducted on the size and interior rearrangement of ambulances to investigate the areas that can improve the comfort and convenience. The noise measurementsshowed that the noise was large in the order of the van type, Benz type, and freight type. In the case of a speed of 40 km/h or more, the noise measurement result was 60 to 70 dB or more. In the case of vibration, the Benz type and van type ambulance were good, and the vibration of the freight type showed the worst result, highlighting the need for improvement. Lastly, it is not possible to increase the internal size of the structure of domestic ambulance. On the other hand, it is important that through ambulance relocation and the position of first aid personnel, it will be possible to use it more comfortably and conveniently.
Rice quality is considered to have two general meanings; 1) milling, cooking, and processing quality, which refer to suitability of the grain for a particular end-use; and 2) physical quality, which means cleanliness, soundness, and freedom from foreign materials. Grain type is associated with specific milling, cooking, and processing characteristics. Thus, this experiment was conducted to classify the grain type categories and marketing grades for Korean leading rice varieties. Length: width ratio of brown rice kernel ranged from 1.57 to 2.25 and most of varieties belonged to short grain except Tongil type rice varieties. Mean of length: width ratio of brown rice kernel was 1.77 and coefficient of variance was 4.79% in short grain type varieties. Grain shape could be further classified into 5 types by length:width ratio of brown rice kernel; 1 type(less than 1.75), 2 type(1.76∼1.80), 3 type(1.81∼1.90), 4 type(1.91∼2.00), and 5 type (greater than 2.00). For 1 and 2 type of varieties, woven wire sieve having 1.7mm openings showed better whole-kernel yields for special marketing grade, and sieve having 2.0mm openings for 3 and 4 type of varieties. Grain type which classified into 5 categories was not associated with physicochemical and cooking characteristics of rice grain, but sensory evaluation of cooked rice showed better score for 1 type varieties in terms of appearance, gloss, flavor, texture, stickiness, and taste.

In this study, the efficiency of photosynthetic electron transfer according to LED color temperature was verified in order to find a way to efficiently grow trees under night illumination. The experiment was carried out with White treatment, Warmwhite treatment, and non-treatment with donarium cherry. The study uses to a method for analyzing and evaluating the color temperature of an LED light source by photochemical analysis. We found that all treatments 115 DAT of maximum fluorescence amount(P) had the lowest. In the treatment using white light and the Warm-white light, the T amount of florescence of the late stage during the transition of the J-I level was increased, and the photosystem I electron transfer efficiency was decreased. Therefore, the electron transport efficiency of $RE1_O/CS$ and RE1o/RC were reduced. Especially, compared to Warmwhite, the light intensity increased greatly in the white-light treatment, The $PI_{TOTALABS}$ of 7 DAT was the highest value, but it was decreased to the lowest value on 115 DAT. This study has shown that the white treatment was low in electron transfer efficiency and soundness. Warmwhite-light treatments showed lower stress.

A distillation tower is one of the important facilities which separates and refines a crude oil stream according to certain boiling points. Its operation efficiency can affect the productivity of a refinery substantially. The objective of this study is to elucidate some operational information on the internal conditions of a distillation tower from a measurement of density profile by using a sealed gamma-ray source and a radiation detector. Gamma radiation counts were measured by a BGO detector positioned diametrically outside the tower-wall, opposite to the gamma source(Co-60) as the detector and the source were lowered concurrently. From the results, structural abnormality of the trays was not found inside the tower. Considering the flow distribution patterns, however, a vapor phase was dominantly formed at the upper part of the tower and a liquid phase at the lower part. From the gamma scanning of the distillation tower, it is anticipated that the gamma absorption technique can be used as an important tool for confirming the structural soundness of trays and investigating flow distribution in refinery facilities.
In this study, landscape changes were examined by periods through the analysis of visual quantity on the landscape components of national road including the mountains, the sky, road pavements, street trees, paddy fields and dry fields, billboard, telegraph pole, building, structure, slope, guard fence, soundproof wall, and median strip etc. For this, subject national road in suburb arreas was selected to grasp its landscape characteristics, and divisional criteria of landscape type of the national road were suggested to look into the trend of landscape changes by periods. Findings of this study are as follows:1.Divisional criteria of landscape type of the national road include location and geometry, structure, land use, perspective, and surrounding buildings of the national road. 2.The highest visual quantity was found in road pavements by periods among landscape components of the national road. It was found that this result has a thread of connection with previous study emphasizing the importance of road geometry as one of landscape components, and road geometry shall be regarded as a visually significant component in analyzing and evaluating landscape of the national road. 3.Most distinguished factors of landscape changes of the national road by periods were median strip(F=33.296) and street tree(F=32.881), and then the sky(F=24.735) and mountain(F=23.477) showed similar level of statistically significant difference. However, statistically significance difference was not found in buildings and structures. 4.It was shown that natural elements decreased gradually but structural landscape made of artificial elements became the main in construction of the national road. This result implies that although the scenic and ecological soundness is recognized in construction of the national road, it is not out of the limitation of functionalities that is, access and mobility.
