Conceptual Model for Fuzzy-CBR Support System for Collision Avoidance at Sea Using Ontology

  • Fuzzy-CBR Collision Avoidance Support System is a system that finds a solution from past knowledge retrieved from the database and adapted to a new situation. Its algorithm has resulted to an adapting a solution for a new situation. However, ontology is needed in identifying concepts, relations and instances that are involved in a situation in order to improve and facilitate the efficient retrieval of similar cases from the CBR database. This paper proposes the way to apply ontology for identifying the concepts involved in a new environment and use them as inputs, for a ship collision avoidance support system., Similarity will be obtained through document articulation and using abstraction levels. A conceptual model of a maneuvering situation will be built using these ontologies.

  • In this paper, we introduce and study a general iterative algorithm to approximate a common solution of split generalized equilibrium problem, variational inequality problem and fixed point problem for a finite family of nonexpansive mappings in real Hilbert spaces. Further, we prove a strong convergence theorem for the sequences generated by the proposed iterative scheme. Finally, we derive some consequences from our main result. The results presented in this paper extended and unify many of the previously known results in this area.

  • In this paper, an inertial Halpern-type forward backward iterative algorithm for approximating solution of a monotone inclusion problem whose solution is also a fixed point of some nonlinear mapping is introduced and studied. Strong convergence theorem is established in a real Hilbert space. Furthermore, our theorem is applied to variational inequality problems, convex minimization problems and image restoration problems. Finally, numerical illustrations are presented to support the main theorem and its applications.

  • Let 𝕽n be an Euclidean space and g : 𝕽n → 𝕽n be a monotone and continuous mapping. Suppose the convex constrained nonlinear monotone equation problem x ∈ 𝕮 s.t g(x) = 0 has a solution. In this paper, we construct an inertial-type algorithm based on the three-term derivative-free projection method (TTMDY) for convex constrained monotone nonlinear equations. Under some standard assumptions, we establish its global convergence to a solution of the convex constrained nonlinear monotone equation. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm converges much faster than the existing non-inertial algorithm (TTMDY) for convex constrained monotone equations.

  • With research data generation on the rise, Institutional Repositories (IR) are one of the tools to manage it. However, the variety of data practices across institutions, domains, communities, etc., often requires dedicated studies in order to identify the research data management (RDM) require- ments and mapping them to IR features to support them. In this study, we investigated the data practices for a few national universities in North Macedonia, including 110 participants from different departments. The methodology we adopted to this end enabled us to derive some of the key RDM requirements for a variety of data-related activities. Finally, we mapped these requirements to 6 features that our participants asked for in an IR solution: (1) create (meta)data and documentation, (2) distribute, share, and promote data, (3) provide access control, (4) store, (5) backup, and (6) archive. This list of IR features could prove useful for any university that has not yet established an IR solution.

엇갈림형 스크류 채널 내부의 스톡스 유동과 혼합특성 해석 (Analysis of the Stokes Flow and Stirring Characteristics in a Staggered Screw Channel)

  • The three-dimensional Stokes flow within a staggered screw channel is obtained by using a finite volume method. The geometry is intended to mimic the single screw extruder having staggered arrangement of flights. The flow solution is then subjected to the analysis of the stirring performance. In the analysis of the stirring performance, the stretching-mapping method developed by the author is employed for calculating the materials' stretching exponents, which are to be used in quantification of the mixing effect. The numerical results Indicate that the staggered geometry gives indeed far much better stirring-performance than the standard (nonstaggered) flight geometry. It was also shown that care must be given to the selection of the basis planes for evaluating the local stretching rate, and it turns out that the best method (H-method) has its basis plane just on the half way between the past and future evolution of fluid particles subjected to the defromation. In evaluating the stretching exponent, the expansion ratio must be considered which is one of the characteristic differences of the actual three-dimensional flows from the two-dimensionmal counterparts. The larger axial pressure-difference causes in general the smaller stirring performance while the flow rate is increased. The smaller channel length also increases the stirring performance.

불의 애니메이션을 위한 복합적 기법 (A Hybrid Technique for Fire Animation)

  • 본 논문에서는 불을 애니메이션하고 가시화하는 새로운 방법을 제시한다. 불을 애니메이션하기 위해서 해결해야 하는 문제들 중에서 가장 어려운 문제는 불이 빛과 열을 주위로 방사하는 과정을 시뮬레이션하는 것이다. 이 방법을 해결하기 위해서 연료가 빛과 열을 발산하고 연소물이 되는 연소 과정을 유체 방정식이 구현되는 복셀화된 공간에서 시뮬레이션하는 복합적인 방법을 제안한다. 불의 움직임은 다른 유체의 경우와 같이 유체 방정식을 이용해서 시뮬레이션하며, 시뮬레이션의 각 단계마다 연소 과정에서 발생한 열이 유체의 온도를 높이고, 이렇게 높아진 온도가 불의 복잡한 움직임을 더욱 가중시키는 과정을 반복시키면서 불에 대한 애니메이션이 처리된다. 또한, 불과 불이 주변을 밝히는 효과를 처리하기 위해서 널리 알려진 포톤 매핑 알고리즘의 효율성을 개선한 새로운 가시화 알고리즘을 구현한다.

MIMO-OFDM 시스템의 PAPR 감소를 위한 새로운 위상시퀀스의 적응형 P-SLM기법 (Adaptive P-SLM Method with New Phase Sequence for PAPR Reduction of MIMO-OFDM Systems)

  • 차세대 무선 이동통신 시스템의 높은 서비스 품질을 위한 방법으로 MIMO-OFDM(Multiple Input Multiple Output-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)방식이 주목받고 있다. 그러나 OFDM 시스템에서와 같이 큰 PAPR(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio)이 중요한 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 PAPR의 감소를 위해, 새로운 위상시퀀스를 기반으로 한 적응형 P-SLM(Partitioned-SeLective Mapping) 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 새로운위상 시퀀스를 주기적으로 곱하고, 일정한 PAPR 임계치를 이용한 적응성으로 인해 PAPR성능 향상뿐만 아니라 복잡도 또한 감소한다. 모의 실험 결과 제안된 기법이 기존의 기법보다 PAPR 성능 뿐만 아니라 복잡도 또한 감소한 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.

탄성파 속도 이방성을 고려한 3차원 주시 모델링 (3D traveltime calculation considering seismic velocity anisotropy)

  • Due to the long tectonic history and the very complex geologic formations in Korea, the anisotropic characteristics of subsurface material may often change very greatly and locally. The algorithms for the travel time computation commonly used, however, may not give sufficiently precise results particularly for the complex and strong anisotropic model, since they are based on the two-dimensional (2D) earth and/or weak anisotropy assumptions. This study is intended to develope a three-dimensional (3D) modeling algorithm to precisely calculate the first arrival time in the complex anisotropic media. We assume 3D TTI (tilted transversely isotropy) medium having the arbitrary symmetry axis. The algorithm includes the 2D non-linear interpolation scheme to calculate the traveltimes inside the grid and the 3D traveltime mapping to fill the 3D model with first arrival times. The weak anisotropy assumption, moreover, can be overcome through devising a numerical approach of the steepest descent method in the calculation of minimum traveltime, instead of using approximate solution.

기계적 합금화한 Ni-W(WC)의 미세구조 및 특성 (Microstructure and Characteristics of Mechanically Alloyed Ni-W(WC))

  • MCFC(Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell) 작동온도인 $650^{\circ}C$에서 Ni 음극의 Creep 및 소결에 대한 저항성을 개선시키고자 Ni-W(WC) 복합재료를 기계적 합금법으로 제조하였다. 기계적 합금화한 분말의 XRD분석결과 밀링시간이 증가함에 따라 재료의 규칙적인 결정이 파괴되어 비정질화 되어가는 경향을 보였다. 소결은 $1280^{\circ}C$의 수소분위기에서 10시간 행하였다 소결된 시편의 dot-mapping 및 TEM 분석결과 Ni-W 계면에서의 2차상 관찰되지 않았으나 $0.1\mu\textrm{m}$ 이하의 W이 Ni 기지내에 미세하고 균일하게 분포되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와같이 미세하고 균일하게 분포되어 있는 W은 고용강화 및 분산강화 효과를 통하여 Ni음극의 기계적 특성을 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다.
