The main studying problem of this study is to develop the scale which examines awareness of singleness for Korean men and women. So, firstly, study 1 fulfilled open survey related to condition for solitary life, its strengths and weaknesses and factors disturbing it for 490 unmarried and married people (244 men and 246 women) who are living in Seoul and capital area. And then, content analysis and category analysis were analyzed for their responses. As the result, each questionnaire was divided into economic aspect, relative aspect, characteristic aspect, eco related aspect, family aspect and social system aspect. Study 2 organized questionnaires for condition for solitary life, its strengths and weaknesses based on the material obtained in study 1 and then, exploratory factor analysis was conducted for total 800 adults (400 men and 400 women) who are living in Seoul, capital area, Incheon and Chungnam. As the result, the condition for solitary life extracted 5 factors including ego-maturity factor (24 questionnaires, total explanation quantity: 61.7%), strengths of solitary life extracted 6 factors including self-growth factor(29 questionnaires, total explanation quantity: 61.4 %) and weaknesses of solitary life extracted 6 factors including solitary factor(31questionnaires, total explanation quantity: 64.75 %). For verifying the suitability of the factor structure, as the result of conducting confirmatory factor analysis for 400 people (200 men and 200 women), the suitability of awareness scale model of men and women on singleness was verified. Those results were discussed from the aspect of variables and phenomenon related to singleness and marriage of Korean society.

Spinal intradural extramedullary non-infiltrated solitary metastasis is very rare. We report a case of intradural extramedullary carcinoma to the T9 nerve root, which mimiking a nerve sheath tumor. Pathology reveals metastatic adenocarcinoma. We discuss the feature of mechanism and pathogenesis and management strategy follows.

Bifurcation method of dynamical systems is employed to investigate exact solitary wave solutions and kink wave solutions in the generalized modified Boussinesq equation. Under some parameter conditions, their explicit expressions are obtained. Some previous results are extended.

This paper deals with the exact solution of surface gravity waves in an ocean with irregular bed topography. In order to obtain water surface elevation and run-up of infra-gravity waves when the bed is either wavy or exponential, closed form solutions are obtained. Numerical computations indicate that when solitary wave or sinusoidal wave conditions are applied at the boundary, water surface elevation attains near Gaussian profile.

VOF 방법에 의한 자유표면 유동계산의 정확성을 개선하기 위해 이차정도 모델을 개발하였다. 개발된 이차원 모델의 정확성을 비교하기 위하여 여러 가지 크기의 원형 및 Solitary wave형상의 자유표면 유동을 통하여 기존에 개발된 두 가지의 일차정도 모델과 비교하였다. 비교결과 반경이 큰 원과 같이 곡률이 작은 형상의 경우에는 일차정도 모델도 비교적 정확한 결과를 보여주고 있으나 작은 반경의 원형이나 Solitary wave와 같이 곡률이 큰 형상의 경우 일차정도 모델은 많은 오차를 보여주는 반면에 이차정도 모델은 어느 경우에나 매우 정확한 결과를 보여준다.

Two interesting new hyphomycetes collected on rachis of an unidentified palm (Palmao) from Malayasia are described and their taxonomy is discussed in this paper. One of them is unique in producing basauxic conidiophores from conidiophore mother cells that are sessile, simple, cylindrical or cupulate, and solitary, gangliar, acrogenous, dry phragmoconidia. It is classified in a new genus Basauxia, as a new species, B. pulchra. The other hyphomycete is also unique in producing characteristic solitary, eight-celled, eight-armed gangliar conidia on simple conidiophores. A new genus, Ashtaangam is proposed for it in which it is placed as a new species, A. sundaram.

This paper describe numerical experiments with solitary beams in a self focusing Kerr medium with fast response. Through formal analogies, it compare this results on the phase sensitivity of beam collision with known predictions about one dimensional soliton interaction. For incoherent oblique beam interaction, there occurs a non-periodic coupled-mode type transfer of energy, resulting in complete transmission each beam through the other one.

Solitary plasmacytoma of the lung are extremely rare, and are sorts of plasma cell dyscrasia which are characterized by the elaboration of excessive amount of immunoglobulin or their constituent units. We experienced one case of plasmacytoma on the left lower lobe which was treated by left pneumonectomy. It was proven that the plasmacytoma produced immunoglobulin M and kappa chain by immunofluorescent technique. During the follow up period, 2 1/2 years after surgical removal of tumor mass, there were no local recurrence and dissemination.

Three notodelphyid copepods, Doropygus curvipes Gotto, Notodelphys agilis villosus Ooishi and Bonnierilla curvicaudata Ooishi are redscribed, based on the specimens taken from the solitary ascidians in Korea. Accordingly, Korean cope associated with ascidians now includes 11 described species.

In this work, we obtain new solitary wave solutions for some nonlinear partial differential equations. The Jacobi elliptic function rational expansion method is used to establish new solitary wave solutions for the combined KdV-mKdV and Klein-Gordon equations. The results reveal that Jacobi elliptic function rational expansion method is very effective and powerful tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations arising in mathematical physics.
