개방형 유동층을 이용한 태양광 고온가스 가열장치의 연구 (High Temperature Solar Gas Heating by a Compact Fluidized-Bed Receiver of Open-Type)

  • 후레넬렌즈(면적 $0.5m^2$)에 의해서 고밀도 집광능력을 갖는 소형태양 집열시스템이 태양에너지 집열장치와 소형 유동층 태양광 수열장치로서 개발되었다. 유동층 수열장치에서의 성능과 온도분포는 SiC 입자와 공기를 작동유체로 하여서 측정하였다. 본 연구에서는 공기 최대도달 온도는 1250K이었다. 또한 개발한 태양에너지 집열기와 유동층 수열장치에 대한 에너지 효율은 높았다.

저온 태양열을 이용한 생물학적 오수 처리 장치 실증 실험 (Field Test for a Biological Nitrogen Treatment System with Low Temperature Solar Thermal Energy)

  • A low-temperature solar thermal system assisting a biological nitrogen treatment reservoir was designed and field-tested. A large tank whose temperature was maintained at about $25-30^{\circ}C$ to enhance the performance of a biological nitrogen treatment process was heated by an array of flat plate solar collectors. Test results revealed that the overall collector efficiency was above 50% for the most cases tested. This high efficiency was possible owing to the relatively low collector temperature that can be traced back to the reservoir temperature. A substantial enhancement in nitrogen treatment was observed as a result of maintaining the reservoir temperature higher.

공동주택용 태양열원 급탕시스템의 운전성능 연구 (A Study on the Operating Performance of Solar Assisted Hot Water System for Apartment Houses)

  • In the present study, feasibility investigation on the solar assisted hot water supply system for apartment houses was carried out by the review of service facility and heat load pattern. Also analysis and experiment of the small sized system model were performed. This hybrid system are consists of solar collector, heat storage tank, controller, and gas boiler using LPG as a secondary heat source. The analytical results showed a good agreement with experimental data. We found that this hybrid system could reduce the energy cost by 30% for hot water compared to typical boiler system in the apartment houses. Also we showed that this model could be used for the energy and economic analysis of the hybrid system.

  • 강릉원주대학교는 캠퍼스 내에 저탄소 녹색기술 아이템들을 설치하였다. 그 중에 태양열 급탕시스템은 태양열 집열판을 고정식과 방위추적식의 두 가지 방식으로 설치하였으며, 기존의 고정식 집열판과 새로운 방위추적식 집열판을 사용하는 급탕시스템의 집열량을 비교하기 위해 모니터링을 실시하였다. 본 논문에서는 태양열 급탕시스템의 구성 및 모니터링 시스템을 소개하고 모니터링 결과를 통해 고정식과 방위추적식 태양열 집열판을 사용한 두 가지 급탕시스템의 집열성능을 비교하였다. 방위추적식의 집열량이 고정식보다 맑은 날에는 19%, 비온 날에는 23%, 평균 21% 만큼 더 크다는 것을 보여준다.

  • In this study, a solar light collector that collects and transmits solar light required for crop production in a closed plant production system was developed. The solar light collector consisted of a Fresnel lens for collecting solar light, and a tracking actuator for tracking solar light from sunrise to sunset to increase the light collection efficiency. The optical fiber that transmitted solar light was made of Glass Optical Fiber (GOF), and it had an excellent optical transmission rate. After collecting the solar light, the amount of light was measured at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 cm distances from the GOF through the darkroom by using a light sensor logger connected to a quantum and pyranometer sensor. Compared with solar light, the light intensity of pyranometer sensor measured at 5 cm was 114% higher than solar light, and 61% at 10 cm. In addition, it was observed that it is possible to transmit the necessary amount of light for growing crops up to about 15 cm (as over 22%) through GOF. Therefore, adding diffusers to the solar light collector should be expected to replace artificial light in plant factories or plug seedlings nurseries for leafy vegetables. More studies on the solar light collection devices and the light transmission devices that have high light collection efficiency should be conducted.

태양열/공기열 복합 집열기를 가지는 하이브리드 히트펌프 시스템의 열성능에 관한 연구 (Study on the Thermal Performance of a Solar Assisted Heat Pump System with a Hybrid Collector)

  • In the present work, a solar assisted heat pump (SAHP) system with a hybrid collector was analyzed. For this, a simplified thermodynamic model was developed. Based on the proposed model, the heat transfer rate, COP, and the annual operating hour of the SAHP system were estimated. The effect of the variation of system design parameters on the performance of the system was also examined. From the results, the performance was improved with increasing the effectiveness of heat exchangers and decreasing the difference between the evaporation temperature and the outlet brine temperature of the hybrid collector loop. Finally, the performance of SAHP system with a hybrid collector was compared with that of conventional serial and parallel SAHP systems. The SAHP system with a hybrid collector was substantially better than a series system and slightly worse than a parallel system for both the yearly averaged heat transfer rate and COP. However, the annual operating hour of the SAHP system with a hybrid collector was much better than that of a parallel system.

  • This study represents numerical analysis on the thermal and fluid flow of the air layer in a solar collector. The boundary conditions was assumed that the top and bottom wall of the air layer have a heating and cooling surface. respectively. and this calculation model have a solid body with a cooling temperature of $20^{\circ}C$. As the results of simulations. the magnitudes of the velocity vectors and isotherms are increased proportionally to the tilt angles. As the tilt angle is increased. the mean Nusselt numbers are increased and the maximum value of the mean Nusselt number was appeared at tilt angle ${\theta}=75^{\circ}$.

  • This study has been carried out to investigate thermosyphon's geyser boiling phenomenon used to solar collector. evaporator section of thermosyphon used to solar collector is very much longer than that of condenser section. From the results from this study, Geyser boiling's cycle depends on cooling water, tilt angle and the applied heat load at the evaporator. In this study, according to heat load, the geyser boiling frequency is lower, but the amplitude higher. For the high tilt angle of heat pipe, the frequency and amplitude are lower and higher in the evaporator region, respectively. Whereas, these phenomena is in contrast in the condenser region.

  • This paper gives a basic Energy performance data of micro gas turbine and Renewable Energy(BIPV and Solar Collector System) installed in Hospital Building. The efficiency of solar collector and BIPV system was 30%, 10% individually, and lower than micro gas turbines. Micro gas turbines are small gas turbines that burn gaseous and liquid fuels to produce a high-energy exhaust gas and to generate the electrical power. Recently the size range for micro gas turbines is form 30 to 500kW and power-only generation or in combined heat and power(CHP) systems. If micro gas turbine was operated only for electric energy, the efficiency was about 30%, but for combined heat and power, the efficiency was about 90%. Finally, installed in large hospital, Micro gas turbine system was operated to CHP mode, was high-efficiency system than Solar collector and BIPV system.

  • Photovoltaic-thermal(PVT) collectors are a combination of photovoltaic modules with solar thermal collectors, forming one device that receives solar radiation and produces electricity and heat simultaneously. The PVT collectors can produce more energy per unit surface area than side by side PV modules and solar thermal collectors. There are two types of water type PVT collectors, depending on the existence of glass cover over PV module; glass-covered(glazed) PVT module, which produces relatively more thermal energy but has lower electrical yield, and uncovered(unglazed) PVT module, which has relatively lower thermal energy with somewhat higher electrical performance. In this paper, the experimental performance of two types of the water-based PVT combined collectors, glazed and unglazed, was analyzed. The electrical and thermal performances of the PVT combined collectors were measured in outdoor conditions, and the results were compared.
