동(銅) 광독지토양(鑛毒地土壤) 개량(改良)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Study on the improvement of Copper polluted soil)

  • 동(銅) 광독지(鑛毒地) 토양(土壤)을 개량(改良)하기 위(爲)하여 석회(石灰) 및 규산물질(珪酸物質)을 처리(處理)하여 pot 시험(試驗)한 결과(結果) 1. 석회물질(石灰物質)의 처리(處理)는 오히려 수량(收量)이 감소(減少)하였으나 규산물질(珪酸物質)은 1~14.2%의 증수효과(增收效果)를 보였다. 2. 석회물질(石灰物質)의 처리(處理)는 수도체내(水稻體內) 동함량(銅含量) 및 토양중가용성(土壤中可溶性) 동함량(銅含量)이 증가(增加)하였으나 규산물질(珪酸物質)의 처리(處理)는 감소(減少)하였다. 3. 석회물질(石灰物質)의 처리(處理)에 따른 토양(土壤) pH의 변화(變化)는 1.3~1.65 증가(增加)하였으나 규산물질(珪酸物質)의 처리(處理)에 따라서는 다소(多少) 증가(增加)하는 경향(傾向)은 있었으나 별차(別差)없었다. 4. 토양(土壤) pH에 따른 정조수량(精租收量) 및 토양중(土壤中) 가용성동함량(可溶性銅含量) pH 5.4에서 최고(最高)의 수량(收量)을 보였으며 가용성(可溶性) 동(銅) 함량(含量)은 pH 5.4에서 제일(第一) 낮었으며 그 이상(以上)에서는 점차(漸次) 증가(增加)하였다.

지반의 연속성을 고려한 말뚝의 수평지반저항력 산정 (Analysis of Soil Resistance on Laterally Loaded Piles Considering Soil Continuity)

  • 대구경 말뚝의 수평 하중전이 거동 및 변형 해석을 위해 수평하중전이 해석법(p-y 곡선법)이 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는, 기존 p-y 해석법의 단점을 보완하기 위하여, 지반의 연속성을 고려한 수평 지반저항력 산정법을 고찰하였으며, 3차원 유한요소 해석을 이용하여 수평하중을 받는 말뚝의 연속체 모델링을 수행하였다. 이를 바탕으로 심도별 말뚝 주변부 발생응력을 바탕으로 하중전이 함수를 산정하고 지반 연속성에 영향을 주는 인자들을 매개변수 연구를 통해 검증하였다. 현장재하시험 사례와의 비교분석 결과, 말뚝 주변부 지반응력을 이용한 유한요소 해석방법은 기존 p-y 곡선에 비해 수평하중을 받는 말뚝의 하중전이 거동을 보다 정확히 예측할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서, 수평하중을 받는 대구경, 대심도 말뚝 설계 시, 신뢰성 있는 수평하중전이 함수의 산정이 중요하며, 지반연속성을 고려하면 보다 경제적인 설계를 할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • Collection, evaluation and preservation of tropical forage grasses, napier grass breeding, tissue culture of pangola grass and alfalfa selection were conducted in Taiwan. The results showed that some species such as pangola grass (Digitaria decumbens) with good performance and wide adaptability were selected and released. Forage yield and quality of napier grass have been improved and have good results in animal performance. Embryogenic callus cultures from young inflorescences and stem segments of pangola grass could provide an alternative method for rapid propagation and improvement. Three better varieties of alfalfa were selected. They maintain satisfactory stands for two or three years on well-drained sand loam and loam soil, and used only as annual crop in flat area and acid soil. However, more studies in forage breeding for acid soil arc required to maximise the forage quality and animal production. Thus, animal fed with forages of high quality and a few grains supplement will be the future achivement in livestock industry.

  • There are lots of soft ground improvement methods which is consist of different materials. In the analysis and design, composite ground method is usually regarded. Composite ground method considers the area replacement ratio as a key parameter to combine the physical and mechanical characteristics of tow different material. In this study, using composite material consist of three different materials which have different diameters, series of specific gravity test were performed according to KS F 2308, to investigate the applicability of composite ground method. As a result, it is found that composite material which is consist of fine grained soil and granular soil has a high applicability of composite ground method. This result means that, in estimating of ground properties of composite material which is consist of similar fine grained material such as cement mixing etc., composite ground method has a less applicability.

  • Square patterned jet grouting technique is the soil improvement method that shakes the special end monitor left and right like as tail fin and mixing the soil and cement paste after cutting the soil in square shape by injecting the cement paste from installed two nozzles. The structure shape by jet grouting technique can be constructed in various shapes and sizes like as square, circle, and sector form designed by an engineer. Also, it can be constructed without waste material and reduced a construction time of work economically. In this study, the applicability of Square Jet Grouting to reduce permeability is estimated by FEM analysis and in-situ test in many cases which are various coefficient of permeability and breadth of grouting structure.

반복압밀하중을 받는 저유기질토의 압밀특성 (Consolidation Characteristics of Lowly Organic Soil under Repeated Loading)

  • When the repeated loading, such as vehicel etc, acts on soft ground, consolidation behaviors due to repeated loading wil show different from standard one. A series of tests was performed to investigate the characteristics of consolidation of lowly organic soil subjected to repeated loadings. Lowly organic soil with Lig. 23.5% was sampeld in Chonbuk Province and tested using a partially and a fully repeated loadings. From test results it was found that void ration, volume change, consolidation coefficient, permeability and secondary consolidation coefficient were greatly affected according to the repetition number and the load weight. The secondary consolidation coefficient was decreased with increase of the repetition number. The results obtained from this research can be used as basic for the improvement of soft ground.

  • The development of both economical and consistent structure is strongly required for the whole reorganization of the railway network in Korea. Retaining wall is one of the major structures in the vicinity of the railway, which needs improving its external appearance and stability. Therefore, this study presents a new type of retaining wall, so called short-fiber composite reinforced retaining wall, as an alternative of retaining walls, which can be used for constructing the slope and roadbed soil structures. The results from real-scale test and dynamic numerical analysis for developed new one, which helps both the improvement of the external appearance and also the optimum use of the limited space near the railway, show excellent performance. On the basis of these results, it is judged that short-fiber composite reinforced retaining wall has the advantages of choosing the front wall freely and having a chance to use any low quality soil as backfill.

  • 저투수성 오염토양을 정화하기 위한 방안으로 환경이중파일 공법을 제안하였다. 환경이중파일은 저투수성 오염지반에 적용되어 배수촉진, 오염정화, 말뚝에 의한 지반지지력 증가의 복합적인 기능을 수행하여 부지를 재활용할 수 있도록 하는 One Step Process 개념의 신기술이다. 기술의 현장적용성을 평가하기 위해 환경이중파일의 배수, 강도, 정화특성을 일련의 실험 등을 통해 평가하였으며, 정화 및 연약지반개량 효과를 얻을 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

Effect of electrochemical treatment on consolidation of soft clay

  • In this study, a method of electrochemical consolidation is applied. This method utilizes electro-osmosis, which is an effective ground improvement technique for soft clays, and soil treatment using lime, which is the oldest traditional soil stabilizer. The mechanism of lime treatment for soil involves cation exchange, which leads to the flocculation and agglomeration. Five representative laboratory tests-an electro-osmotic test and four electrochemical tests with various proportions of lime-were performed on dredged marine clay. The objectives of this study are to investigate the effect of electrochemical treatment and to determine the optimum dose for optimal consolidation performance of dredged marine clay. The results show that a better consolidation effect was achieved in terms of current, temperature, and vane shear strength by using electrochemical treatment. The best results were observed for the electrochemical test using 4% lime content.

인공지반의 녹화에 의한 도시의 재생 (Urban Renewal with Green on Impermeable Surface)

  • How far of natural regeneration of the city and improvement on the urban environment will be possible in the replanting on the impermeable surface? The replanting of what kind of form will be obtained in order to realize it? The regeneration of the nature is possible, if it can be realized at the thin soil layer in which the result of being equivalent to the natural soil function. Using the light artificial soil with the water retentiveness, it is possible that green on the artificial ground reinforces the green skeleton of the city. The green of artificial ground improves the thermal ambience of the city and demonstrates stormwater runoff depression effect. It is necessary to built the landscape which continues with the surrounding green. Ecologically stabilizing green has the high amenity. The development of replanting technology of the artificial ground which fosters the city culture is desired.
