전자식 전력량계용 한전 프로토콜 및 운영 프로그램 개발 (Develpoment of Automatic Meter Reading Program for Electronic Power Meter)

  • A communication protocol for automatic meter reading is designed for electronic power meter. Communicational functions and data structures are standardized and data reading software is developed according to the developed protocol. The communication protocol is designed with reference specifications, IEC 62056-31 and Distributed Network Protocol(DNP). For design, communicational functions and specifications of the industrial meters were analyzed for the purpose of developing a new one for KEPCO meters. The protocol is designed with 3 layer model, physical layers, data link layer and application layer. A documentation was completed with data gathering, data classification, authentication, error detection. An emulator system was made for testing the protocol. A meter reading software was developed using the protocol. Many different protocols and meter reading softwares are integrated into one with the developed protocol and software as KEPCO's standard.

  • To present graph of probability densities, many softwares and graphical tools use methods that link points or straight lines. However, the methods can't display exactly and smoothly the graph and are not efficient from the viewpoint of process time. One method to overcome these shortcomings is utilizing interpolation methods. In these methods, selecting the number and location of knots is an important factor. This article proposes an algorithm to select knots for graphically presenting densities and implements graph components based on the algorithm.

  • This paper aims at developing sample paragraphs for voice pitch assessment which is specifically designed for Koreans. Recently the demand for such a battery of sample sentences has been steadily increased among Korean speech therapists. In this paper, different sample paragraphs (two conventionally used paragraphs and three newly developed ones which consist mainly of sonorant sounds and different types of sentences), different softwares (Dr. Speech, Wavesurfer, Praat) and different techniques (automatic measurement and detailed measurement in which the researcher controls many aspects which might influence the measurement of pitch) will be compared for measuring fundamental frequency.

  • This paper gives a brief outline of STiLL related research and its practical applications in Europe, U.S.A, and Japan with a view to encouraging Korean speech scientists and developers as well as linguists and pedagogues to cooperate further for more active participation in this field. The state-of-the-art technologies, academic groups, conferences as well as major STiLL softwares are introduced followed by considerations on the current states, problems of STiLL in Korea, and some suggestions for future development.?⨀

  • In recent automotive industries there has been significant increase in applications of computer simulation to the manufacturing of stamping dies for inner and outer body panels which greatly affect durability and aesthetic quality of automobiles. Enhancement of die quality and reduction of total die manufacturing time and consequently manufacturing cost are the visible outcome. However to successfully apply the result of simulation by a commercial package to the die manufacturing development of an optimal die manufacturing process is required upon the completion of analysis of forte and shortcoming of available sheet metal forming softwares. Based on the results of numerical analysis of front door outer panel forming. this paper evaluates the applicability of simulation results to the real die manufacturing for automotive body panels. Also it attempts to select an optimal die manufacturing process including design machining and tryout. Lastly it discusses the expected effects by adopt-ing the selected process in a real stamping die manufacturing facility.

  • High pressure is involved during injection molding operation specially packing phase. Cracks in the mold are often occurred by high cavity pressure. In this study, structural analysis of mold has been performed using commercial softwares, Abaqus and Ansys, to investigate cause of crack in the injection mold. Structural analysis contains four cases: stress distribution according to the cavity pressure, stress concentration according to the boundary conditions, stress concentration for inter-locking design of mold, and stress concentration for distributed cavity pressure. Through this study it was observed that the locations of stress concentrations were coincident with locations of crack. Robust mold design is being required to withstand high cavity pressure.

유전체 연관 연구에서의 검정력 및 연구대상수 계산 고찰 (A Review of Power and Sample Size Estimation in Genomewide Association Studies)

  • Power and sample size estimation is one of the crucially important steps in planning a genetic association study to achieve the ultimate goal, identifying candidate genes for disease susceptibility, by designing the study in such a way as to maximize the success possibility and minimize the cost. Here we review the optimal two-stage genotyping designs for genomewide association studies recently investigated by Wang et al(2006). We review two mathematical frameworks most commonly used to compute power in genetic association studies prior to the main study: Monte-Carlo and non-central chi-square estimates. Statistical powers are computed by these two approaches for case-control genotypic tests under one-stage direct association study design. Then we discuss how the linkage-disequilibrium strength affects power and sample size, and how to use empirically-derived distributions of important parameters for power calculations. We provide useful information on publicly available softwares developed to compute power and sample size for various study designs.

  • SNP(Single Nucleotide Polymorphism)은 생물학적 다양성에 관한 연관성 연구(Association Study)에서 이용되어지고 있다. haplotype을 구하기 위해 genotype data를 Haplotype Reconstruction을 하여 한 가닥씩 분리를 한다. Haplotype Reconstruction의 방법은 생물학적 접근법(molecular method)과, 계산적 접근방법(in-silico method)으로 연구되고 있다 계산적 접근법은 생물학적 접근법에 비해 적은 비용과 시간이 소요되는 장점을 지니지만, phase problem으로 인하여 생물학적 접근법에 비해 정확도가 낮다는 단점을 갖는다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위한 설러 알고리즘들과 프로그램들이 연구 및 개발되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 개발된 프로그램들에 대해서 다양한 테스트를 통한 각 프로그램의 성능 비교를 하였고, 특성과 문제점을 파악하였다.

  • 다양한 악성코드 탐지 및 분석 회피 기술 중 실행 압축 기술은 악성코드의 용량을 줄이고 분석가가 코드를 분석할 때 혼란을 주도록 코드가 변형되기 때문에 악성코드의 확산이 용이해지고 분석하는데 시간이 오래 걸려 신속한 대응이 어렵게 만들고 있다. 본 논문에서는 실행 압축 도구들을 분석하고 엔트로피 값의 변화량을 기반으로 하는 실행 압축 기술 무력화 방법을 제안한다.
