교육관에 기초한 학교 환경교육의 목적 고찰(공학적, 성년식, 사회화 교육관을 중심으로) (The Establishment of the Purpose of School Environmental Education Based by the Educational Views(1))

  • The purpose of Environmental subject in the Korean school is pretty much similar to that of international organization. Because it doesn't apply the characteristics of School Education to environmental education, this school environmental education purpose needs to be discussed. The purpose of this study is to establish the reasonable purpose of school environmental education by analyzing the educational views. This study have been done through review of research literature, which usually includes references and papers on environmental education, school environmental education, educational point of view, educational purpose. It analyzed three kinds of views on education: technological view on education, initiation view on education, socialization view on education. The results are as follows: The purpose of school environmental education from technological view on education is environmental education activity itself that educates students to put the environmental preservation value into action. Initiation view on education aims at school environmental education as activities that instruct students on intellectual ability in order to develop a comprehensive view of intelligence. The purpose of environmental education in school on the basis of socialization view on education focuses on activities that authoritative teachers transmit the social value of environmental preservation to students in school.

청소년의 상징적 소비성향에 관한 연구 (A Study in The Propensity for Symbolic Consumption of Adolescents)

  • The objectives of this study are to examine the degree of propensity for symbolic consumption among adolescents and its factors, and to investigate the effects of demographic variables - sex, grade, father's education, mother's education, father's job, mother's job, monthly allowance, monthly household income - self-esteem, and socialization agents variables - parents, friends, mass media - on the propensity. In this study, the propensity for symbolic consumption is defined as the propensity to consume products through their affective, subjective, and symbolic value rather than through their practical and utility value. The data used in this study were collected from 509 adolescents who are in the 2nd grade of middle or high schools in Pusan. The research results can be summarized as follows: 1. The propensity for symbolic consumption were found to have significant differences according to sex, father's education, mother's education, mother's job, and monthly allowance. 2. It differs significantly according to adolescents' self-esteem. That is, the lower self-esteem adolescents have, the higher propensity for symbolic consumption they show. 3. It also differs significantly according to the degree of communication with parents, the degree of accepting friends' view, the degree of communication with friends, the degree of informative influence from friends, and the degree of taking in mass media.

Characteristics and Attitudes of Fashion in the Works of Women Impressionists - Focusing on the Works of Mary Cassatt and Berthe Morisot-

  • The purpose of this study was to derive the characteristics of fashion that appeared in the daily life of bourgeois women in Paris in the late 19th-century, and to examine the attitudes women showed toward fashion in the modernized city of Paris. The research method was a literature study and a visual data analysis study targeting fashion of bourgeois women from 1860s to 1900s out of Mary Cassatt's 155 works and Berthe Morisot's 147 works from Wikiart's digital images. The characteristics and attitudes showed in fashion in terms of women's painter's work, women's daily life, and women's space are as follows. First, while the subject matter of their works was restricted to the house, fashion was described with the sensual colors, elegance, and sophistication anticipated of a woman's nature. The represented attitude toward women and fashion includes advice for pursuing the dignity of maternal love and women's intellectual life, as well as an attempt to reflect a current point of view on the woman image. Second, the daily life of bourgeois women was childcare, needlework, reading, and grooming. They valued socialization and entertainment as well as intimacy and education with children, so they wore different clothes depending on the situation. This suggested that it was necessary to dress appropriately both at home and when going out. Third, despite the fact that the public space for women was limited, they dressed elegantly in a variety of trends when they went out. This was fashion worn only for appearance.

노동권.부모권 관점에서 본 영국과 스웨덴의 일-가족양립정책 (UK and Sweden Work-Family Policy on Work.Care Citizenship)

  • 이 연구는 노동권 부모권 관점의 일-가족양립정책을 통해서 여성이 노동자로서 어떻게 복지국가에 통합되어 가는지를 살펴보기 위함이었다. 일-가족양립정책의 노동권과 부모권이 국가차원에서 어떻게 구성되는지는, 돌봄을 둘러싼 젠더체계를 중심으로 돌봄의 사회화방식(탈가족화 탈상품화 가족화 상품화전략)을 통해서 살펴보았다. 실제로 영국과 스웨덴은 돌봄의 젠더체계를 기본으로 돌봄의 책임주체가 다르게 상정되면서, 돌봄의 사회화도 다른 성격으로 발전하였고, 이것이 여성과 남성의 노동권과 부모권에 주는 함의도 다른 결과를 가져온다는 것을 보여주었다. 특히 그 사회에서 여성을 노동자로 보는가, 혹은 돌봄자(carer)로 보는가는 돌봄의 사회화가 어떻게 발전되는가에 있어 중요한 출발점이었다. 돌봄이 사적문제로 한정되는 영국은 당연히 일과 가족의 양립문제는 개인과 시장이 풀어야 할 문제로 가치가 축소되었다. 스웨덴 사례는 돌봄의 사회적 가치가 합의된 상태에서 탈상품화를 통한 남성의 가족화와 탈가족화를 동반한 여성의 상품화 전략만이 실질적인 노동권과 부모권을 획득하는 수단이 될 수 있음을 보여주고 있다.
