Academic research of the social service delivery system is very limited. This paper checked on the status of research on current social service delivery system in order to explore new research and policy directions. Analysis study consisted of 79 pieces and the framework was divided into dimensional analysis, content analysis and analytical standards. Research on the papers of social service delivery systems showed from the initial stage of the policy discussion to the phase of the individual services. Summarizing the study is as follows. First, This studies confirmed that at this time the quality studies on social service delivery system is needed. Second, this indicates that right now, the government budget of social services and the data relating to social service agencies will be opened to the public for the expansion of social services studies. Third, to expand social services delivery systems research, it showed that social services demand forecasting research such as budget allocation, population characteristics, equality of public service and local information is needed. Finally, since the quality of service is reduced by the oversupply, the discussion of the entry regulations of social service providers is required.

The evolution of the Web from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 has brought up new platforms as SNSs(Social Network Service) that are used by users to articulate and manage their relationships. SNSs are an online phenomenon which has become extremely popular. A SNS essentially consists of a representation of each user, his/her social links, and a variety of additional services. SNSs are increasingly attracting the attention of academic and industry researchers. What makes SNS unique is that they have a relationship with friends. The friend recommendation is one important feature of social networking services. People tend to trust the opinions of friends they know rather than the opinions of strangers. In this paper, we propose an efficient data processing method for social data. We study previous researches about social score in social network service. Our ESS(Efficient Social Score) is computed by both friendship weight and score of a document that was tagged by a user's friends. Our experimental results also confirm that our method has good performance.
This study attempts to shed additional light on the national diffusion process and interaction of welfare services for children and mothers. The central hypothesis examined is the following : In general, the implant of social welfare system is first considered on the characteristics of their own socio-economics , and diffusion prodess of welfare services tends to occur faster in countries with open sicieties than in countries where entry barriers are high and society ranking rigid. The scope of the study is limited in several ways. Attention is concentrated on the agency of woman in the belief that an in-depth case study of one field can yield more insight than a less detailed investigation embracing a number of social welfare systems. The angency of woman is selected for several reasons. a) It is important the agency of woman alone produce more effective than services affecting both the child welfare and women's libertion bradually. Moreover, these services will form the heart of mother's welfare. b) The services of women's agency is gradually wide spread, since a role of government is still negligible before a full realization of economic income. c) The services of women agency is a prime example of a social welfare. d) statistical data and other information are more readily available. One of major findings of our study is the existence of the barriers inhibiting child welfare form " motherhood cult". Despite all the distinct advantages for mother and child , social attitudes appear to be some resistant on child welfare system among men and women even the agenices of women. What is surprised is the extent of the awareness that strategies of women's agency to liberate woman and to increate activities of women involve the strategies to liberate child. The conviction that solving application problems for child welfare in line with the activities of agency by women offer greater freedom and more advantage to mother are not apparent on the data collected from 18 of multi-functional agencies in our country. there are little sign that such agencies cooperate toward attainment of common goals. The intensive early focus of the movement on consciousness raising is a necessary beginning and such efforts by women's organizations would help both in the continuous evolution of women and child. Some of the agencies offer a variety of services to women and children, others are specialized in that they offer fewer services or even only one. Social welfare agenices giving service to children and their families are identified by various names usually women service and child welfare from govern , mental agency and voluntary public agency to foreign aided. What is totally missing , however, is an integrated synthesis of child welfare program Through women's agency. Social changes to occur, but delineation of appropriate and comprehensive social policy is also necessary at this point at this point since efforts, social changes and polices must be well coordianted and focused, as well as mutually supprotive and reinforcing.

Volunteer services in communities work to provide human and material resources needed in social welfare centers and help the centers efficiently and effectively respond to diverse needs in society as well as provide quality services to clients. With this in mind, this study presents a few political suggestions on their utilization. First, potential volunteer development should be done in communities. Second, users of diverse volunteering services should be developed. Third, centers should pay attention to promotion of volunteers and the volunteers should be completely educated before services are rendered.
This is a study to review provision and production system of social services in European welfare states and find out implications to Korea. Firstly, trends of social service extension and reorganization in welfare state restructuring process, and approaches in interventions to social service system are theoretically discussed. In this discussion, we focus on the discussion of Jessop's workfare in social service extension and reorganization and the concept of innovation in intervention to social service system by state. Then, In order to look at details of reorganization of social service system through restructuring of European welfare states, German case is reviewed. In this review, the reorganization of social service provision and production system in Germany is analyzed through the comparison with the pre-existing system in terms of relationships with public sector as well as between public and private sector respectively. Finally, implications of the European and German experiences to Korea are explored. In order to do so, the state of social services in Korea is examined whilst comparing to the European development process of social services. Also, pros and cons of the electronic voucher scheme, which transforming the social service provision system in Korea, are discussed then challenges in Korean social service delivery system are discussed.

In spite of the importance of a fishing industry, neither any terminology defined in details nor academic systems to educate the workers in the fishery were established in the fisheries social education. The fisheries social education was considered to be the practical area around the actual fields. Therefore, on-site education was very important. Accordingly, this study collected and analyzed theoretical basis of a social education and data on the rural adult education and examined the actual status of the fishing industry in Korea and fisheries extension services enterprise and fisheries developmental enterprise corresponding to the actual fisheries social education conducted in Korea. On the basis of these frames, this study summarized the direction for the progress of fisheries social education that has not been studied until now for the purpose of suggesting the future directions of the fisheries social education as follows; The recognition on the importance of fisheries social education and fundamental researches in the fisheries social education should be extended. The practical development of fisheries social education should be realized. Fisheries extension services enterprise should be evolved by fishermen. The abilities of instructors in the fisheries social education should be improved. The academic factors in the fisheries social education should be emphasized. Inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary approaches should be adopted. Various programs should be developed for the progress of the fisheries social education. The exclusive department in charge of the fisheries social education should be established. The information system for the fisheries social education should be secured. The industry, academic organizations and the organs should make cooperation. The fisheries social education should be provided by general social education institutions for the progress. The fisheries development should be deployed on the basis of environmental preservation. It is necessary to deploy the new fishing village movement like the Saemaul movement to the fisheries. The administrative and financial supports for the fisheries social education should be expanded. It is essential to cultivate the future fishermen for the international competitiveness.
In Korea, as the elderly population is growing, the quality of life of the rural elderly is becoming a major concern. By the way, social welfare services is less available and accessible to the rural elderly. And we have very limited information about community -oriented welfare services for the elderly. The lack of social welfare services in rural area resulted from mainly geographic isolation and economic deprivation. So, the present research aimed at; 1) to explore what the social welfare service is benefited from governmental or local assembly. 2) to explore what kind of community services is provided for the rural village and elderly. 3) to appear the political propose for the rural elderly. In South Korea, The Rural Development Administration currently operate 'villages which is supported special programs for the improvement of QOL of rural elderly' in 110 villages. It is a model governmental welfare service for rural area. For the purpose, the survey data is gathered from community level data per village (107 villages), individual survey data(881people) who live in the village and qualitative data. Two kinds of quantitative data is combined to form a data. The statistical methods used for data analysis are descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA. The major findings of this study were as follows : It was founded that the majority family type of the rural elderly is elderly-only households(75%). In case of poor elderly, they have very limited social insurance benefit and they can not get medical services with satisfaction. The result show that the welfare facilities per village and welfare service for the elderly is extremely low while the needs of welfare service is greate high. A distinctive characteristics in rural villages is that they receive a lot of services from private sectors, like as Women Farmers Union, Adult Union. They operate voluntary welfare services related to food supporting, education for the elderly, free haircut services and so on. In conclusion, the community care services from private sector has specialty in rural area. We conclude it is a distinguishing characteristic of rural community.
In this study, we present the necessary measurements of establishment and expansion in social welfare elements, understand the social welfare approach and the reality of social welfare services to solve the physical accessibility problem of the rural center revitalization in the recent trend of various attempts. The measurements were categorized according to the nature and form of the projects through content analysis method by using a master plans and casebooks of the rural center revitalization leading districts. The results show that the social welfare project of the rural center revitalization leading districts were categorized them into three sections of job creation vitalization, lifelong education, hobby and leisure supports, visiting services, it was classified into 11 sub-types. We arrive at a conclusion through analysis results, establishment of cooperative system between related organizations, active gathering of opinions from residents, training of local workforce, convergence with existing social welfare systems and projects, building private governance, for social welfare project operate stably in the rural center revitalization.
Social networking services (SNSs) have become important and popular tools for not only presenting self-image but also sharing travel information. This study adopted self-image expressions to understand tourists' intentions to share travel information and behavioral changes in SNSs. To enhance understanding tourists' intention and behavior, the current study suggests a research model based on motivations for self-image expression (i.e., creativity, altruism and social relationship). This current study empirically resulted in the importance of users' creativity, altruism and social relationship in SNS, which leads to the intention and behavioral changes to share travel information. In addition, altruism moderated the negative effect of creativity on self-image expression as well as the positive effect of the social relationship on self-image expression. Based on the result of this study, the current study bears some implications in a theoretical and practical context.
In this study, the impact of organizational culture on the quality of social work services in hospitals were empirically analysed. A mailed questionnaire survey was conducted between February 19 and April 10, 2001. A sample of total 70 hospitals, including general hospitals with one social worker at least and single-department hospital with two social workers or more, were identified nationwide through the registry of Korean Association of Medical Social Workers and Korean Association of Hospitals. According to coping strategy and reacting pattern with the environmental changes, four types of organizational culture in each hospital, classified as group culture, developmental culture, hierarchial culture, and rational culture, were adopted for the independent variables. Three dimensional aspects of quality of social work service - structure, process, and outcome were selected as dependent variables in this study. Also the quality of social work service was distributed into provider-perceiving quality and consumer-perceiving quality The major findings were as following in summary; First, most social workers reported that the characteristic of culture in their hospitals are group culture the first, hierarchial culture the second, developmental culture the third, and rational culture finally in order of comparing the level of quality perceived between social worker's recognition. Second, service provider and consumer, The provider-perceiving quality showed less score than that of consumer, especially the lowest was the score of quality of outcome perceived by provider. Third, according to the types of organizational culture, there were significantly different levels of quality in total social work services, structure dimension and process dimension. The quality of outcome dimension did not show significant differences among the type of organizational culture. Finally, the most influential variables to the quality of social work service ice proved departmental form of social work unit, leader of social work unit, and developmental culture of hospital To assure quality services, accordingly, social work unit in hospital is required to be organized as a single unit, that means to be an independent department of which qualified social worker is supposed to control the unit. It is strongly recommended to develop leadership for the leaders of social work unit.
