The purpose of this study was to introduce major contents and examine the feminist social work practice. Feminist social work practice has never been introduced and applied to social work fields in Korea. By contrast, it has been developed and expanded in advanced Western countries. Feminist social work was emerged under the influence of worldwide Women's Movement on the end of 1960's. After the time, there were critics of existing social work practice by feminist, increase in interest of women's issues, development of principles and methods in feminist social work practice. Feminist social work practice brought, transformative change, application of gender perspectives to social work practice. Also, it offered the visions for 'integrative practice', accepted the alternative principles and methods, and enriched 'theory-practice'. As the result, feminist social work practice contributed to solving or alleviating the problems of many clients, especially women clients. These evidences suggest that feminist social work practice has the possibility of holding an position as a new alternative social work practice.

Although social work practice skills are one of the important components of social work practice, research on social work practice skills has been very scarce. It seems that the reason might be a lack of standardized instruments used to measure social work practice skills. The purpose of this study is to validate a Korean version of the Practice Skills Inventory(PSI) developed by O'Hare and colleagues. The PSI is the only instrument developed in the field of social work to measure the frequency of social work practice skills that social workers use. A total of 310 social workers working in medical or mental health field were participated in this study. A result of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the Korean version of the PSI is composed of 4 factors like its english version. The Korean version of the PSI was also reliable and valid. Implications for social work research, practice and education are provided.

The purpose of this study is to research the viewpoint of space practice method through the discussion about social space. The study researched how social practice strategy is unfolded through the understanding about daily life, space manufacture and interaction. As a social practice, space design should adopt the interaction approach method on the basis of social relationship latent in the base of space. As a result of study, the viewpoint of space practice can be summarized into 3 viewpoints as below. First, it is the viewpoint of recognition through the experience meeting daily life. Rural space is the one of experience where daily life and social relationship interact each other. As a delicate sensible experience, it is the recognition of special space detected in the space where daily life occurs. Second, it is the viewpoint of form creation as a media product of society and space. Space is a whole creature of the relationship that has been formed socially as a historical process. Depending on the goal of community, new form is created by sharing the characteristic of space and having sense of kinship. Third, it is the viewpoint of tuning as a practice for subject participation. Rural space is the daily space to practice structured society subjectively through interaction. In the place of subjective life, there should a space practice with the tuning and cooperation method between subject and society. The main vein of space practice, which is analyzed with the discussion about social space, shows that out lives are maintained by space practice and directly connected to social relationship and structure. After all, the space, which is searched for through space design, has a clear subjectivity, ensures abundant subject life and is led to realization of community value.

Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the related factors of clinical practice satisfaction and social support in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 420 dental hygiene students in Gwangju and Jeonnam from March 8 to April 8, 2014. Except 26 incomplete answers, 394 data were analyzed. The instrument consisted of general characteristics of the subjects(7 questions), social support(7 questions), and satisfaction level with clinical practice(22 questions). The instrument for satisfaction level with clinical practice included self-esteem(1 question), interest and usefulness(2 questions), knowledge application(1 question), place of clinical practice(1 question), and influence by practice leader(1 question). Cronbach alpha was 0.773 in the study. The instrument of social support was adapted from Park and reconstructed. Social support included emotional support(11 questions), self-esteem support(7 questions), and informative support(4 questions). Social support was score by Likert 5 scale and higher score showed the higher social support. Results: The dental hygiene students got a mean of $3.11{\pm}0.55$ in clinical practice satisfaction. They got 3.35 points in satisfaction with major and 3.32 in satisfaction with curricula(p<0.001). They got a mean of $3.68{\pm}0.55$ in social support. They got $3.69{\pm}0.57$ in emotional support; $3.81{\pm}0.59$ in self-esteem support; and $3.53{\pm}0.66$ in informative support. The influencing variables on satisfaction with clinical practice were self-esteem support(B=0.202), satisfaction with major(B=0.234), and satisfaction with curricula (B=0.128). Conclusions: There was a close relationship between satisfaction with clinical practice and social support. In order to enhance the satisfaction with clinical practice, it is necessary to connect self-esteem support with major satisfaction and curricula satisfaction.

This study was to examine the generative process, contents and normative practice of social workers practice knowledge and grope the suggestion for the reconstruction of social work knowledge. The authors approched with reflective narrative method, Data were collected from six social workers who have engaged in social work. As result, when they have confronted unaccountable phenomenon they generated knowledge through self - reflection and these confirmed, reproduced through normative practice. The researchers proposed the abduction resoning form for the knowledge development method in social work practice field, the reinforcement of human studies in social workers educational process, reconstruction of the network practice.

This study aims to grasp a slice of development of Korean Social Welfare. For this study, a character critique has been conducted on Kim, Man-doo who had been superbly equiped by social work practice and study as well. The accomplished critique came from literature criticism is based on his social work practice and his literatures. Five and six themes have been elicited each from Kim's social work practice and his literatures. Through the association of those two kinds of themes has been finally reasoned out another five themes; emphasis on integrated approach, encompassment of social welfare from America and Japan, virtuous cycling formation of Social Welfare, paradigm shift of Social Welfare, and regrettable unfinished harmony of practice and study. In regards to the results, some subjects are discussed as follows; Kim's social work practice had been refined crossing the social welfare system, a slice of Korean social welfare in 1960-90s was exposed, children-based social work practice in 1960s had been practiced unitedly, and Korean Social Welfare in 1960-80s had been structured differently according to the scholars'inclination.

Recent social studies on space have focused on changing the social relations that activate in space. In general, these studies have been based on the concept of social space on which is grounded the power-relation analysis such as power, oppression, resource allocation, and so on. Social work practice has traditionally recognized the importance of the environment surrounding human beings. Nonetheless, social work practice has tended to comprehend space in a neutral and abstract way because it has insufficiently considered modern spatial theories. For this reason, this study focusing on Lefebvre's social space theory reviewed the contemporary discourses on space in the area of social work practice. Following the review, this study attempted to establish the concept of "Space-based Social Work Practice". Specifically, this study analyzed the actual cases in social work field and explored the applicability of "SSWP". According to the results, this study delivered the implications of Space-based Social Work Practice as an alternative method and suggested the practical direction of SSWP.

This study is about family discourses of social workers in Korea. The purpose of this study is to gain suggestions of relatedness between discourse and practice by grasping the contents and meaning of discourses in social workers. 10 social workers in various fields were interviewed for this study. The results are followed: First, social workers understand family as a private space which have a meaning of shelter and refuge. Second, there are gaps between consciousness and practice of division of gender role in family. But social workers generally are inclined toward receiving division of gender role in family and applied to their family practice. Third, monolithic family image have a tendency of versatility in family structure, is inclined toward the division of gender role and myth of motherhood. Fourth, social workers perceived emotional tie as important nature of family solidarity and family as natural institution. Also these discourses of social workers were applied to their family practice. The results of this study reveals possibility that social work practice can be discoursive practice or interpretive practice.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the practice d social marketing of fashion business in Korea. A questionnaire was designed by the researcher and consisted of items of 30 items of social marketing practice in fashion business. Responsers are administrators and merchandisers who work in fashion business. Data were analyged using SPSS by frequency, mean, standard deviation, $x^2$-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. The results of this study were as follows : 1. In decision-making method of social marketing, degrees of practice were shown comparatively high. And, three practice factors (consumerism, humanism, and environmentalism) showed indifference in six business characteristics (store type, staff number, annual budget, annual education method, education frequency, and the location). 2. In feedforward method of social marketing, degrees of practice were shown comparatively high. And, two practice factors (business strategy, and product strategy) showed indifference in seven business characteristics (date of establishment, store type, staff number, annual budget, education method, annual education frequency, and the location). 3. In administrative method of social marketing, degrees d practice were shown comparatively high. And, four practice factors (product development, price decision, distribution management, and advertisement and promotion) showed indifference in eight business characteristics (date d establishment, store type, staff number, annual budget, education method, annual education frequency, the location, and distribution structure). 4. In total system method of social marketing, degrees of practice were shown comparatively high. And, two practice factors (marketing planning, and self-audits system) showed indifference in six business characteristics (business size, store type, annual budget, education method, annual education frequency, and distribution structure). The present findings provide that social marketing of fashion business in korea has been practiced comparatively high.

Recently, the concept of empowerment has become popular within social work practice. Despite of this trends, we have little empirical knowledge about what empowerment practice is and how it is applicable to practice settings in Korea. This study explored how social workers perceived and experienced the concept of empowerment. We used qualitative method to solve this questions. Individual and focus group interviews were conducted to 7 social workers serving in diverse settings. Research results are as follows: Participants had common perceptions of empowerment concept despite of the different settings. They perceived power as confidence, independence, self-control. The client/worker relationships were open, nonhierarchial egalitarian and characterized by mutuality and reciprocity. They emphasized the nature of empowerment as circular and diffusive process. Also, they orientated long term practice related to impatience of social workers. Finally, those who participated in this study challenged and reinterpreted the existing traditional "professionalism". We concluded that empowerment practice might demand infinite energies, social worker's creativity, trust of clients, and that empowerment practice would be a new approach in social work practice which influence on much more population because of its diffuseness.
