SNG 플레이어의 성격유형에 따른 사회적 행동과 유희성 (Social Behavior and Perceived Playfulness according to Personality Types of SNG Players)

  • 본 논문은 소셜 네트워크 게임(SNG) 플레이어의 플레이 행동 중 사회적 행동을 기준으로, SNG 플레이어의 성격유형별 플레이 행동 결과에 따른 유희성 수준 반응을 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위해 게임 플레이 공간에 따라 SNG 플레이 행동을 사회적 연결성 행동과 비사회적 연결성 행동으로 분류하고, 성격유형 5가지 기준에서 각 성격유형별 SNG 플레이어의 행동과 유희성의 관계를 실증적 실험을 통해 확인하였다. 결과는 SNG 플레이어의 행동에 대한 유희성이 성격유형별로 뚜렷한 특징을 보이며, 사회적 행동에 대해서 성격유형 간 유의미한 차이가 있음을 보여준다. 이는 SNG 플레이 설계 시 플레이어의 성격유형을 고려하여 SNG의 주된 재미의 목적인 사회적 연결성에 대한 플레이 비중을 결정하는 자료로써 활용 가능할 것이다.

Study of Personality Traits In Constitutional Types

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the personality traits in constitutional types. The Questionnaire for the Sasang Constitution Classification Ⅱ and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire were completed by 155 university students. Statistical analyses of the Questionnaire for the Sasang Constitution Classification Ⅱ and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire scale scores and results are as follows : First, Personality differences in constitutional types are revealed significantly with respect to Eysenck Personality Questionnaire scales such as neuroticism, addiction, and criminality. Second, there is a significant difference between Eum(음) type and Yang(양) type along psychoticism and neuroticism. Third, sex difference is significant along the dimension of extraverion-intraversion.

주도적 성격과 지식 공유: LMXSC의 상반된 조절효과 검증 (Proactive Personality and Knowledge Sharing: The Contrasting Effects of Leader-Member Exchange Social Comparison (LMXSC))

  • This paper focuses on proactive personality as one of the main personality traits relevant to knowledge sharing and examines how this personal trait influences knowledge sharing behavior. Moreover, in order to consider the interactive effect between proactive personality and a contextual factor, this study utilized the construct of LMXSC which can reveal restoration of resource losses due to knowledge sharing. Because LMXSC can have opposite directions depending on used theories, this study investigates how LMXSC moderates the relationship between proactive personality and knowledge sharing behavior by using conservation of resources theory and trait activation theory. This study tests hypotheses with the data of supervisor-employee dyads in various industries. An empirical results showed that proactive personality increased knowledge sharing behavior and LMXSC strengthened the positive relationship between proactive personality and knowledge sharing behavior as conservation of resources theory predicts. Based on these theoretical arguments and empirical findings, this study suggests theoretical and practical implications, limitations, and the directions of future research.

중년의 성격특성이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향: 자기개념의 매개효과와 주관적 사회경제요인의 조절효과 (Effect of Personality Traits of the Middle Aged on Quality of Life: Mediated by Self-Concepts and Moderated by Subjective Socio-Economic Variables)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of personality traits of the middle aged on quality of life while mediated by self-concepts such as self-efficacy and self-derogation, as well as while moderated by subjective socio-economic variables such as economic status, social activities and employment. To verify the conceptual causality model and moderating effects of contextual variables, we analysed 353 cases out of purposively collected 400 cases from a medium sized city. As results, first, conscientiousness of personality traits positively affected quality of life of the middle aged while mediated by self-concepts. Second, neuroticism of personality traits negatively affected quality of life while mediated by self-concepts. Third, agreeableness of personality traits did not eventually affect quality of life, although affected negatively on self-efficacy and positively on self-derogation. Fourth, socio-economic variables such as economic status, social activities and employment moderated various paths in the model, which indicated dynamics of internal variables were affected by contextual variables.

How Leader Characteristics and Leader Member Exchange Lead to Social Capital and Job Performance

  • The study aims to verify the relationship between leaders' personality traits in leader - member exchange (LMX), and job performance. Hierarchical Regression Analysis was used to examines (a) how leaders' personality traits and LMX affect the influence of social capital on job performance and organizational citizenship behavior; (b) how perceived organization support (POS) can moderate the influences of LMX on social capital, in turn impacting job performance and OCB. Responses are employees in the service industry in Thailand, which consisted of 236 independent samples in 77 groups. Each group included at least one leader and 1-5 followers. The results show that there is a significant relationship between leader's personality traits, LMX and social capital. Leader with the higher level of conscientious, and agreeableness can always create good relations with their followers. The level of LMX are also related to social capital and both of these influence OCB and job performance. The moderating effect of perceived organizational support is also significant that POS can amplify the influence of LMX on social capital. Finally, the research findings show that perceived organizational support is one of the moderating factors in LMX exchanges. Followers perceived organizational support can amplify the influence of LMX on social capital.

인성그림책을 활용한 토의 활동이 유아의 자기조절능력과 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Discussion Using Personality Picture Books on Young Children's Self-Regulation Ability and Pro-Social Behaviors)

  • Objective: This study investigated the effects of discussion using personality picture books on young children's self-regulation ability and pro-social behaviors. Methods: Participants consisted of thirty-nine 5-year-old children who were going to a kindergarten in Gwangju metropolitan city. Nineteen children belonged to the experimental group and twenty children to the comparative group. The experimental group carried out discussion using personality picture books, and the comparative group carried out conversation activities. Results: The results of this study demonstrated that the experimental group scored higher than the comparative group in self-regulation ability and pro-social behaviors. That is to say, the experimental group scored higher than the comparative group in three sub factors of self-regulation ability and seven sub factors of pro-social behaviors. Conclusion/Implications: It is significant that this study provides useful information about discussion using personality picture books with young children that can be used in the early childhood field.

Linking the Big Five Model of Personality to Knowledge Sharing Intention

  • This study aims at empirically analyzing the relation between employees' personality and their knowledge sharing intentions, on which enough light has not yet been shed in spite of its importance. By integrating the big five model of personality with social capital theory and social cognitive theory, this study develops six hypotheses concerning the relation and empirically tests them by using 724 samples collected from employees in practice. The empirical analysis results from this study reveal that employees' extroversion and agreeableness are positively associated with their social relations and that their openness to experience and conscientiousness are positively associated with their knowledge self-efficacy, which are positively related to their knowledge sharing intentions. Based on the new findings, theoretical and practical implications are provided for knowledge management researchers and managers in practice.

주거환경이 고교생의 사회성에 미치는 영향 (The effects of the residential variables on high school students' social personality)

  • This is a study to grasp the correlation between high school students' social persenality and residential environment. THe samples were 197 boys and 200 girls who were attending the high schools located in Pusan. Social personality which contains family relations and social relations was measured by the standardized test of K.T.C. The path-analysis was used to make the causal relations of the collected data clear. RESULTS : 1. Feeling on the residential environment underwent the most potent influence by the floor space per person and social personality by feeling on the residential environment. 2. For the boy-students, the family relations andsocial relations was affected by the case of renthouse, the family relations by the case of noisy residence, and the social relations by the case of no-private room. 3. For the girl-students, the cases of higher stories and having private room made the family relations unharmonious, the cases of narrow floor space per person and the single house made the social relations troublesome, too.

인상형성에 있어 사회범주 정보(우리-남)와 성격특성 정보(따뜻한-차가운)의 영향 (The impacts of social category information (we/other) versus personality information (warm/cold) on impression formation)

  • 기존의 연구들은 특정정보가 인상형성에 미치는 영향을 성격 또는 집단과 같은 특정 범주 내에 정보들 간의 비교에 초점을 맞추어 왔기에 다양한 범주들 간의 비교는 상대적으로 소홀히 하여 왔다. 본 연구는 사회범주 정보(우리-남)와 성격특성 정보(따뜻한-차가운)가 인상형성에 미치는 효과를 비교 확인하기 위한 목적에서 수행되었다. 이를 위해 연구 1에서는 개인적인 성격특성을 나타내는 점화자극(따뜻한-차가운)과 사회범주 정보를 나타내는 점화자극(우리-남)이 식역하 상태에서 함께 제시되었을 때 이것이 인상평가에 미치는 상대적인 영향을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 사회범주 정보가 성격특성 정보보다 호오(goodness)와 화친(likability)의 인상차원 모두에서 더 큰 영향력을 발휘하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구 2는 연구 1에서 발견된 인상형성에서 사회범주 정보의 상대적 중요성에 대한 대안적 가설을 확인하기 위해, 사회범주 정보와 성격특성 정보를 독립적으로 식역하 자극으로 제시하였다. 그 결과 호오차원과 화친차원에서 사회범주 정보와 성격특성 정보의 영향력이 다를 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 즉 사회범주 정보는 호오차원보다는 화친차원에서 더 큰 영향력을 발휘하였으며, 성격특성 정보는 호오차원에서 더 큰 영향력을 발휘하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 한국문화에서 우리성과 마음틀의 심리 기능적 역할의 관점에서 논의하였다.

사회복지 업무 종사자의 HIV/AIDS 감염인에 대한 신체적・사회적 거리감 (Social Worker's Physical・Social Distance for People Living with HIV/AIDS)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the feeling of distance of social work practitioners for people living with HIV/AIDS(PLWHA) and to identify related factors. Methods: A total of 409 data were collected as convenience sampling from social welfare service providers. Independent variables were socio-demographic data, AIDS related knowledge, authoritarian personality, prejudice for minority(handicapped, women, foreigner, old aged), cultural competency. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, multiple regression analysis were conducted. Results: Multiple regression model was developed by integrating the significant variables from univariate analysis. Significant factors of physical distance were social prejudice against handicapped, knowledge about AIDS and critical awareness/knowledge about other culture. And significant factors of social distance were social prejudice against handicapped, knowledge about AIDS, authoritarian personality, critical awareness/knowledge about other culture. At last, we found that social prejudice against handicapped was the biggest factor for physical distance and authoritarian personality was the biggest factor for social distance of social work practitioners. Conclusions: The area of social services for PLWHA have to be expanded. Physical and social distance of professionals to provide services to PLWHA and factors affecting it is necessary to continue research. In addition, on the basis of these findings, specific training programs is need to be developed.
