The purpose of this study was to analyze the EEG according to the elderly's tendency to be addicted to smartphone games. We compared the effects of smartphone addiction on mental health such as brain waves, sleep problems and depression through comparative analysis of asymmetry and connectivity in quantitative EEG results. The study participants were two elderly people who were addicted to smartphone game and one elderly person who did not use smartphone (Ed- to confirm: only 3 participants?!). The participant's addiction tendency of smartphone was measured by using the smartphone addiction scale and EEG (QEEG) was used for EEG analysis. The results are as follows. First, the brain waves of elderly people and smartphone non-user elderly who showed symptoms of immersion and smartphone game showed a difference in asymmetry in both opening and closing anisles. Second, there were significant differences in the openness and the anxiety of the elderly who were immersed in the mobile phone and the elderly who did not use the smartphone. Through this, it is also meaningful to explore the relationship between senile cognitive impairment and smartphone use by exploring the effect of smartphone game use on brain cognitive function through comparison of EEG analysis.

This study explored Korean college students' smartphone game behavior for the pastime. Smartphone games have weakness that is not appropriate for playing the game because of small screen and non-sophisticated interface for operation. To defeat the disadvantage, the games employed minimalism like conciseness or simplicity. The study explored how conciseness influences perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, flow, and intent to use the game through PLS path modeling. We found that every hypothesis except a path, perceived ease of use to flow, proved significant. This result means that smartphone game design should consider the interface of users' convenience and user experience practically. Finally, based on the findings, suggestions for future studies were discussed.

The purpose of this study is to confirm the use of smartphones by children aged 3 to 5 years old and to propose a plan for prevention of overdependence. To this end, the data of 909 people aged 3 to 5 years old were used in the study from the raw data of the '2019 Smartphone Overdependence Survey' conducted by the National Information Society Agency. The research results are as follows : Infants aged 3 to 5 were using their smartphone for an average of more than an hour a day, it was found that smartphones were used in the order of video services and games, listening to music, educational contents and search services. Parents were found to be tolerant of their children's smartphone usage time and dependence. In particular, despite the fact that most infants and toddlers use smartphones to watch videos and use game content, they are not concerned. Therefore, parental education content for the use of smartphones by infants and toddlers needs to include comprehensive content on media use.

Purpose First, this study examines the relationship between characteristics of smartphone banking and trust of smartphone banking. Second, this study investigates the impact of perceived benefit on the trust and usage intention of smartphone banking. Finally, this study considers moderating effect of service quality in the relationships between perceived benefit and trust and usage intention of smartphone-based mobile banking. Design/methodology/approach This research uses the survey method to test its hypotheses, the survey population is smartphone baking users. A software tool called AMOS 17.0 used to analyze the research model. Findings The results showed that characteristics of smartphone banking channel like compatibility, timeliness, and mobility had a positive effect on the trust of smartphone banking. The device familiarity showed a significant positive impact on trust of smartphone banking. While the service quality moderated the relationship between trust and usage intention of smartphone banking, moderating effect of service quality in the relationship between perceived benefit and its usage intention was not significant. The results of this study could provide a theoretical framework to explain customers' decision of smartphone banking and practical implications for banking venders.

This study aimed to survey the impact of smartphone overuse on upper extremity pain, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal relationships among college students. Subjects completed a structured questionnaire consisting of the Smartphone Addiction Inventory, the Musculoskeletal Symptom Checklist, the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, the Beck Depression Inventory-II, and the Relationship Change Scale from May to June 2012. We analyzed the survey data from 525 responses, excluding unreturned or incomplete surveys. Data were analyzed using the $x^2$ test and t-test to determine the differences in smartphone overuse and its impact on upper extremity pain, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal relationships between two groups: the overuse and normal use groups. Moreover, Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to examine the correlation between smartphone overuse and upper extremity pain, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal relationships. The results placed 62 people (11.8%) in the smartphone overuse group. The extent of smartphone overuse was more severe among female than male college students, and longer time spent using smartphones per day was directly related to smartphone overuse. The smartphone overuse group evidenced higher shoulder pain than the normal use group did, but no differences were found in other sites of the upper extremities. State anxiety, trait anxiety, and depression were higher in the smartphone overuse group than in the normal use group. Subjects with a higher extent of smartphone overuse experienced increased state-anxiety, trait-anxiety, and depression. Moreover, subjects with higher state-anxiety, trait-anxiety, and depression scores were more likely to have poor interpersonal relationships. Therefore, early screening for smartphone overuse should be evaluated, because it can be useful in developing addiction prevention programs to improve posture, stress coping, positive mental health, and effective interpersonal relationships.

In order to use Smartphone safely, users have to use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth carefully in the public area. This paper will research how to use App safely and characteristic of risk of worm and Malware spreading. Because of security vulnerabilities of the public key certificate, it will suggest new type of security certification. In order to prevent from the information leakage and infect from Malware in mobile environment without knowing, this thesis will analyze the improved way to manage and use the mobile device.

This study aims to identify the beneficial effects of forest experience on emotional changes in young children who are exposed to smartphones in daily life. This research was conducted on 41 children aged five and six years at a kindergarten in Chungcheongnamdo province. The children participated in a five-month forest experience program, conducted twice a week. Before beginning the study, its purpose and procedure were explained to the children's parents and kindergarten teachers, after which written content was collected. Before and after the five-month experience, questionnaires about smartphone use and emotional conditions were administered through the parents. The participants were divided into two groups, namely average-use and high-use groups, depending on the smartphone addiction proneness score. It was found that negative psychological subscales such as anxiety, impulse, and depression decreased following the five-month forest experience in both groups. Positive psychological attitudes such as sociability and creativity increased significantly after the forest experience. The high-use group showed a wider range of positive changes compared to the average-use group. Accordingly, forest experiences can be used as an effective solution for smartphone addiction problems among young children.

Smartphone security threat has become an important issue in Information Science field following the wide distribution of smartphones. However, there are few studies related to such. Therefore, this study examined the factors affecting the intention of smartphone users to use the mobile vaccine against malware with the Protection Motivation Theory. To secure the reliability of the study, a surveying agency was commissioned. A total of 263 respondents, excluding 37 respondents who are users of iOS, which does not have mobile vaccine in the smart phone, or who gave invalid responses, were surveyed. The results showed that perception of the installed mobile vaccine significantly affected the Response Efficacy and Self-efficacy, and that the Perceived Severity, Perceived Vulnerability, Response Efficacy, and Self-efficacy significantly influenced the intention to use the mobile vaccine. On the other hand, Installation Perception of mobile vaccine itself did not affect the Perceived Severity and Perceived Vulnerability. This study is significant since it presented the new evaluation model of threat evaluation and response evaluation in the Protection Motivation Theory in accepting the security technology and raised the need for the promotion and exposure of mobile vaccine, since perception of mobile vaccine installation affects the response evaluation. It also found that the promotion must consider the seriousness of smartphone security, outstanding attribute of mobile vaccine, and user-friendliness of mobile vaccine above all.

As network technologies evolve and so-called smart technologies appear, applications of smartphones are being applied in widespread areas. In general, the adoption of smartphones is different from the adoption of information systems. Thus, we tried to find out factors which may affect the user acceptance behavior. However, there have been some academic studies that analyzed the factors that affect user acceptance of smartphones, and their relationships. Under this academic background, we develop a model to examine how smartphones are accepted by users based on technology acceptance model. The theoretical model is validated through an online survey of smartphone users from two universities in Seoul, Korea. The results reveal that the users will have positive attitude towards adopting the smartphone when they perceive that the usage of smartphones is useful. We also find that the perceived usefulness of the smartphone is affected by the perceived ease of use and the media richness. The results also suggest that the perceived ease of use is determined by the self-efficacy whereas the intention to use smartphones is determined bv the perceived usefulness, the self-efficacy, and the attitude toward smartphnes' usage. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate occupational therapy at M college in Changwon and the impact of smart phone use on the school life of college students and to help them find ways to further develop in the future. Methods; Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, and the questionnaires consisted of 152 total questions with 15 interpersonal questions, 23 problem solving skills, 43 self-efficacy, 16 class participation scale, and 55 self-directed learning scale. It was conducted to first and second graders of M college and conducted a survey through the corresponding academic year from March 26, 2019 to March 29, 2019 to retrieve 120 questionnaires and use them for analysis. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS. Statistic 20.0. Results: Studies show that "school life satisfaction" is usually the highest at 53 percent. The "smartphone user motivation" was the highest with 50.8 percent, while the "most frequently used feature on smartphones" was the highest with 57.5 percent on SNS. Satisfaction after using a smartphone was the highest with 49.2 percent, while 41.7 percent said it would be easier to acquire and utilize information in the areas of satisfaction. Conclusion: Smartphone addiction, interpersonal relationships, problem-solving skills, self-efficacy, participation in classes, and self-control learning items are not only affected by one part, but also by the other.
