RF-스퍼터링법을 이용하여 Ni-W 금속기판에 연속공정으로 증착된 $Y_2O_3$ 완충층 특성 연구 (Reel-to-reel Deposition of $Y_2O_3$ Buffer Layer on Ni-W Metal Substrates by the RF-sputtering)

  • Reel-to-reel deposition of $Y_2O_3$ has been performed on Ni-5%W metal substrates using the RF-sputtering method. The epitaxial orientation of $Y_2O_3$ buffer layers to the base bi-axially textured substrate was well identified using ${\theta}-2{\theta}$, out-of-plane ($\omega$), and in-plane ($\phi$) scans in X-ray diffraction analysis. The optimization of $Y_2O_3$ seed layers in reel-to-reel fashion were investigated varying the deposition temperature, sputtering power, and pressure for its significant roles for the following buffer stacks and superconducting layers. $Y_2O_3$ were all grown epitaxially on bi-axially textured metal substrates at 380 watts and 5 mTorr in the temperature range of $600-740^{\circ}C$ with higher $Y_2O_3$ (400) intensities at ${\sim}710^{\circ}C$. It was found that the $\Delta\omega$ values were $1-2^{\circ}$ lower but the $\Delta\phi$ values were above $1^{\circ}$ higher than that of Ni-W substrates. As the sputtering power increased from 340 to 380 watts, $\Delta\omega$ and $\Delta\phi$ values showed decreased tendency. Even in the small window of deposition pressure of 3-7 mTorr, the $Y_2O_3$ (400) intensities increased and $\Delta\omega$ and $\Delta\phi$ values were reduced as sputtering pressure increased.

경남지방에서 도라지 재배지역별 토양이화학적 특성과 사포닌 함량 (Soil Physico-Chemistry and Saponins Content of Platycodon grandiflorum Radix Cultured from Different Sites in Gyeongnam Province)

  • This study was carried out in order to survey the soil physico-chemical, morphology and content of saponins of 5 year-old Platycodon grandiflorum radix from different areas in Gyeongnam. Soil physical properties was showed 1.01-1.29 of bulk density of soil and soil hardness was increased with increasing soil depth, especially below the 30 cm, however it was maintained or small increased below the 40 cm. T-N and OM contents of top soil were highest at Geochang as 0.27% and 56.9 g/kg, respectively, compared to other areas. The root length was longer at Kimhea and Geochang as 33.8 and 33.7 cm, respectively, and fresh weight was heavy at Geochang as 208.5 g. The contents of saponin of P. grandiflorum radix was higher in fine root compare to main root. By region, content of saponins of P. grandiflorum radix were higher at Hapcheon than other area. Mg content was highly negatively correlated at p < 0.01 with platycodin D3, deapioplatycodin D, platycodin D, and deapioplatycodin D ($-0.499^{**}$, $-0.433^{**}$, $-0.421^{**}$, $-0.511^{**}$ respectively). These results suggest that no-fertilized Mg effected on the improvement of saponin contents in P. grandiflorum.

자성체 코어 형상에 따른 마이크로 플럭스게이트 센서의 검출 특성 (The Performance of Micro Fluxgate Sensor with Magnetic Core Shape)

  • A fluxgate magnetic sensor consists of a solenoid excitation coil, pick-up coil, and magnetic core. We presents the effect of magnetic core shape in a micromachined fluxgate sensor. To observe the performance of fluxgate sensor with magnetic core side width and gap, side width of 125 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, 250 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, and 500 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ were designed in a rectangular-ring shaped core and the gaps of 0 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, 50 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, and 100 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ were also fabricated in a racetrack shaped core. The solenoid coils and magnetic core were separated by benzocyclobutane(BCB) which had high insulation and good planarization characters. Copper coil patterns of 10 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ width and 6${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ thickness were electroplated on Ti(300 $\AA$) / Cu(1500 $\AA$) seed layers. 3 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ thick N $i_{0.8}$F $e_{0.2.}$(permalloy) film for the magnetic core was also electroplated under 2000 gauss to induce the magnetic anisotropy. The magnetic core had the high DC effective permeability of ∼1,300 and coercive field of ∼0.1 Oe. Because the magnetic cores of 500 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ side width and 0 gap had a low magnetic flux leakage, high sensitivity of ∼350 V/T were measured at excitation condition of 3 $V_{P-P}$ and 2 MHz square wave. The power consumption of ∼14 ㎽ was measured. The fabricated fluxgate sensor had the very small actual size of 3.0${\times}$1.7 $\textrm{mm}^2$. When two fluxgates were perpendicularly aligned in terrestrial field, their two-axis output signals were very useful to commercialize an electronic azimuth compass for the portable navigation system.m.m.m.

Germplasm Detection for titi Genotype Using SSR Marker in Soybean

  • Soybean Kunitz trypsin inhibitor(SKTI) protein is a small, monomeric and non-glycosylated protein containing 181 amino acid residues and is responsible for the inferior nutritional quality of unheated or incompletely heated soybean meal. The objective of this research is to confirm SSR marker(Satt228) tightly linked to the Ti locus using several germplasm accessions with TiTi or titi genotypes for MAS in soybean breeding programs. TiTi genotypes('Jinpumkong2', 'Clark', and 'William') had allele1 and titi genotypes(PI196168, C242, W60, and PI157440) had allele2 in Satt228 marker analysis. 'Jinpumkong2', 'Clark', and 'William'(TiTi genotype) had a Kunitz trypsin inhibitor protein of 21.5 kDa size, and PI196168, C242, W60, and PI157440(titi genotype) did not have the band in protein gel electrophoresis from the mature seed. Cosegregation between the SKTI protein(21.5 kDa size) and allele of Satt228 marker was observed in seven germplasm accessions with different genetic backgrounds. Any recombination between the SKTI protein and allele of the Satt228 marker was not observed. This result indicates that Satt228 marker may effectively utilized to select the plants with the titi genotype.

'Redvita': A Yellow-fleshed Kiwifruit with Red Color Around the Core

  • Kiwifruits introduced to Korea typically have green fruit flesh, yellow flesh, or yellow flesh with red coloration around the core. Here, we describe a new cultivar called 'Redvita', the first kiwifruit cultivar of Korea with yellow flesh and red coloration around the core. A conventional field cross was conducted in 2003, and permission for the final release of 'Redvita' was obtained in 2012. 'Redvita' originates from 'Red Princess', a maternal vine known for the red coloration in its flesh. The pollinizer is 'NHK0013' (IT233175), which blooms in early May. A principal feature of 'Redvita' is its high vitamin C content, which at an average of 140 mg per 100 g of fresh weight is 2 - 4 times higher than other commercial cultivars. The average fruit weight is 97 g; bigger than that of the control cultivar 'Hongyang'. 'Redvita' blooms in mid-May and is usually harvested in early to mid-October, approximately 150 - 160 days after anthesis. 'Redvita' produces 3 or 4 flowers per fruiting shoot, with no small lateral flowers, therefore does not need to be thinned before blooming for commercial production. The cultivar is acidulous because of a high titratable acidity content (about 1.5%), which is higher than other cultivars (less than 1.0%). 'Redvita' was registered with the Korean Seed and Variety Service in 2015 for plant variety protection rights (no. 5604).

RAPD 방법을 이용한 거제도, 개도, 제도해역에서 채집한 말잘피 개체분석 (Population analysis of eelgrass, Zostera marina L. in Geojedo, Gaedo, and Jedo on the southern coastal water of Korea using RAPD-PCR)

  • 본 연구는 말잘피 군집의 유전적 구조 및 다양성 분석은 잘피 관리를 위해서 시행했다. 거제도, 개도, 제도연안에 서식하는 잘피를 대상으로 RAPD분석에 따른 유전적 다양성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 거제도는 개도 및 제도와는 100 km 이상 떨어진 지역에 서식하는 잘피의 유전적 거리는 0.16으로 나타난 반면에,개도와 제도의 유전적 거리는 0.08정도로 보이고 있다. 거제도에 서식하는 잘피의 개체내 유전적 유사도는 70% 이상으로 나타났으나, 개도와 제도에 비하면 낮은 유사도를 보이고 있다. 따라서 남해안에 서식하고 있는 잘피의 개체는 지역적 거리에 따라 유전적으로 상이한 집단을 형성하고 있다. 이러한 원인은 시스트 확산 및 유전자 이동률 제한 때문인 것으로 추정된다.

Information and Communication Management Systems (ICMS) in India -Connecting the Resource Poor Farmers to Knowledge and Institutions

  • Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have always mattered in agriculture too. In day-to-day practices of agriculture and allied sectors, the farmers often share their information. Changing weather patterns, soil conditions, pests and diseases always throw challenges to small and marginal farmers. So, the farmer needs up-dated information to cope with and even benefit from these changes. In the developing countries like India, where agriculture still plays a crucial role (over 58% of the rural households depend on agriculture as their livelihood) and the rising population from 1027 million to 1419 million during 2001-16 (a total rise of 38 percent or 1.3 percent per year) pose a lot of pressure on land and other resources to meet the food security needs on one hand and to meet the challenges of globalization on the other. Understanding and addressing these challenges are very crucial, in which ICT can play a major role. With the booming mobile, wireless, and Internet industries, ICT has found a foothold even in poor marginal and smallholder farms and in their activities. The survey conducted among the 120 farmers in Srikakulam district in India revealed that, ICT has revolutionized the agriculture in the modern days. Production and marketing information is accessed by 91% of the sample farmers through mobile in 2015, where it was only 5% in 2005. The extent of use of mobile phones by the farmers varied with the decision to be taken by them like Harvesting, packing, and storing (94%), Selling Decision (91%), Seed purchase (89%), Application of fertilizers and pesticides (88%) and Land preparation and planting (84%), other package of practices (77%). The farmers further opined that, 'Voice' was the dominating source of communication (96%) compared to Short Message Service (SMS) (only 27%) and Internet access (10%), as majority are illiterate. The use of camera (71%), Bluetooth (33%), Radio (61%) TV (41%) are the other means of sharing the information. In this context of importance of ICTs in Indian agriculture, greater attention justifies about the applications of ICT's to alleviate poverty and promote economic growth of the farming population.

한국내 물오리나무(Ainus hirsuta) 집단의 공간적 상관관계 (Spatial Autocorrelation within a Korean Population of Alnus hirsuta)

  • 한국내 물오리나무(Ainus hirsuta) 집단의 미소지리적 변이를 공간적 상관관계에 적용하였다. 분리된 등급간 대립유전자의 각 형태의 산출을 정규분포 편차 통계에서 임의분포를 하고 있는지를 검정하였다. 모든 경우에서 예상 값이 유의성을 가지는지 Moran의 I값으로 추정한 결과 120 경우 준 24 경우(20.0%)에서 유의성을 나타내었다. 이들 값 중에서 17 경우는 음의 값을 나타내었는데 이는 한국의 물오리집단이 10등급 간격에서 유사하지 않다는 점을 시사하였다. 그 한 원인으로는 화목(火木)을 위한 인간의 간섭을 추정할 수 있다. 열매를 맺는 가지나 줄기의 간헐적인 벌목에 의해 유전자 유동이 조장되었기 때문일 것이다. 한편, 그루터기나 밑둥으로부터 영양번식을 할 수 있는 능력 또한 유전적 구조를 어지럽히는 한 요인으로 작용한 것으로 사료된다.

전류인가 방법이 3D-SiP용 Through Via Hole의 Filling에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Current Types on Through Via Hole Filling for 3D-SiP Application)

  • 3D package의 SiP에서 구리의 via filling은 매우 중요한 사항으로 package밀도가 높아짐에 따라 via의 크기가 줄어들며 전기도금법을 이용한 via filling이 연구되어왔다. Via filling시 via 내부에 결함이 발생하기 쉬운데 전해액 내에 억제제, 가속제등 첨가제를 첨가하고 펄스-역펄스(PRC)의 전류파형을 인가하여 결함이 없는 via의 filling이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 건식 식각 방법 중 하나인 DRIE법을 이용하여 깊이 $100{\sim}190\;{\mu}m$, 직경이 각각 $50{\mu}m,\;20{\mu}m$인 2가지 형태의 via을 형성하였다. DRIE로 via가 형성된 Si wafer위에 IMP System으로 Cu의 Si으로 확산을 막기 위한 Ta층과 전해도금의 씨앗층인 Cu층을 형성하였다. Via시편은 직류, 펄스-역펄스의 전류 파형과 억제제, 가속제, 억제제의 첨가제를 모두 사용하여 filling을 시도하였고, 공정 후 via의 단면을 경면 가공하여 SEM으로 관찰하였다.

RF용 MCM-D 기판 내장형 인덕터 (Embedded Inductors in MCM-D for RF Appliction)

  • RF(radio Frequency)용 MCM(Multichip Module)-D 기판 내장형 인덕터를 개발하였다. MCM 기술은 고밀도 패키징 기술로서 주로 디지털회로에 많이 적용되어 왔으나, 최근에는 아날로그회로 및 디지털회로가 혼재된 혼성신호 및 초고주파 회로에도 적용되고 있다. 혼성신호에서는 능동소자 주변에 많은 수의 수동소자가 연결되므로 MCM-D 기판에 수동소자를 내장시키면 원가절감과 시스템의 크기 축소 및 경량화를 이를 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 성능과 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서 MCM-D 기판은 Cu/감광성 BCB(Benzocyclobutene)를 각각 금속배선 및 절연막 재료로 사용하였고, 금속배선은 Ti/Cu를 각각 1000 $\AA$/3000 $\AA$으로 스퍼터한 후 fountain 방식으로 전기 도금하여 3 $\mu\textrm{m}$ Cu를 형성하였으며, 인덕터는 coplanar구조로 하여 기존의 반도체 공정을 이용하여 MCM-D기판에 인덕터를 안정적으로 내장시키고 전기적 특성을 측정하였다.
