소규모 건설 프로젝트에서의 공사예비비 산정방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Estimating the Contingency Cost of Small Construct Project)

  • We need the contingency cost in order to deal with the uncertainty to be accompanied inevitably at the construction and an every kind risk not to forecast in advance. And also the contingency colt needed for the change order and we need it for reduction of the delay and reduce the trouble between owner and constructor. This study, through checking and analyzing the risk factor, in the step of domestic construction, suggests optimal management reserve to specific business about the contract type and the scale. The main results of this research are summarized as follow. First, I investigated the recognition about the contingency cost, grasped the risk to be happened at the construction step and found out the frequency occurrence, through making up question to engineer are carrying out their job in the domestic construction. Second, I computed optimal contingency cost rate by the statistics investigation, and proposed an improvement plan and problem when compute a contingency cost.

소규모 사업장에서 내부 이해관계자들 간의 연계가 산업재해에 미치는 영향: 사업주의 안전의지, 관리감독자의 안전리더십, 근로자 참여를 중심으로 (A Study on the Effect of the Linkage among Internal Stakeholders in Small Businesses on Industrial Accident: Focusing on the Safety Commiment of the Business Owner, Safety Leadership of the Supervisor and the Participation of Workers)

  • This study attempted to provide implications by analyzing the impact of business Owner's safety commitment on industrial accidents and examining the mediating role of management supervisors' safety leadership and worker participation. Analysis was conducted on 2,067 manufacturing sites with 20 to 50 employees in the 10th Occupational Safety and Health Survey data. SPSS waw used to secure the reliability of the measurement variable. Hypothesis vertification was carried out after securing the suitability and validity of the structural model using AMOS. The direct impact of three latent variables on industrial accidents was confirmed: the business owner's safety commitment, the management supervisor's safety leadership, and the worker participation. The employer's safety will and the management supervisor's safety leadership do not directly affect industial accidents, but it has been verified that worker participation has a diret impact on industrial accident reduction. In addition, it has been confirmed that the safety leadership and worker participation of the management. Supervior have a complete mediating effect on the reduction of industrial accidents by mediating with the safety leadership of the management supervior and the participation of the workers. This study analyzed the impact on industrial accidents by dividing the stakeholders constituting the workplace into three classes: business owners, superviors, and workers, but the results suggest that employers and all workers inside the workplace may be organically linked to achieving the goal of reducing industrial accidents. Therefore, in order to establish an autonomous safety management system for safety and health at workerplaces, efforts are needed to reduce industrial accidents in their respective location by forming an organic community among internal stakeholders.

Why Do Government Policies Fail in Boosting Independent Retailers?

  • Purpose: It is necessary to look at the reasons why the Korean government has failed in boosting mom and pops, even though many aid programs for independent retailers have been introduced. Furthermore, this research will provide policy makers and practitioners with new insight to improve the performance of government policies. Research design: the researcher has had an interview with the 26 practitioners to gather the right information. Furthermore, interview results have been categorized into the government-related issues, support programs and shop owner-related issues, from a practitioner's perspectives. Results: The researcher found that the confusion of governmental support organization, the lack of retail marketing experts, frequent job rotation, the lack of cooperation between bureaucrats and associations, concerned about the governmental-related issues, are failure reasons. In terms of support program issues, the research found the following reasons: no blueprint, the lack of retail experts, relevance to budget scale, and the complexity of budget implementation. Associated with shop owner-related issues, the author found that the causes of failure are closely related to aging shopkeepers, the absence of a successor and increasing dependence on a government. Conclusions: The author proposes that a government has to rebuild existing support programs for small shop owners.

국내 중소기업 리더십 개발 실행 사례연구 (A Case Study on the Practices of Leadership Development by Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 대부분이 중소기업 내 리더십 개발 실행의 채택에 대해 거의 알지 못하여 채택의 선례가 불분명하고, 다른 중소기업 HR실행의 채택을 설명하는 요소가 리더십 개발과 관련이 있는지도 불분명하다는 선행연구에 기초하여, 유용한 측정 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 실증분석을 위하여 앞서 제시된 선행연구를 토대로 HRM 전략 적합성이 리더십 개발 실행에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보고, 소유경영자의 리더십 개발 태도의 매개 효과를 검증해보았다. 설문 문항은 선행연구에서 사용되어 검증된 설문을 바탕으로 설정하였으며, 실증분석을 위해 300부의 설문지를 회수, 회수된 설문지 전체를 통계분석에 사용하였다. HRM 전략 적합성이 리더십 개발 실행에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 통계적으로 유의성이 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 또한, HRM 전략 적합성이 리더십 개발 실행에 미치는 영향 관계에서 소유경영자의 리더십 개발 태도의 매개 효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 향후 연구는 연구 초점을 확대하고 본 연구에 포함되지 않은 변수들을 고려하여 실제 실행에 투자하는 것이 유용하도록 해야 할 것이다.

Intention to Adopt Cloud Accounting: A Conceptual Model from Indonesian MSMEs Perspectives

  • Over the years, numerous Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have been vigorously established across many countries. Even though the Internet of Things (IoT) has enabled companies to anchorage business returns, most Indonesian MSMEs are highly susceptible to failure and one of the main issues is the inability to manage their financials effectively. The literature on accounting points out that the success of MSMEs owing to the usage of cloud-based Accounting Information Systems (AIS) or Cloud Accounting (CA) could reduce the rate of failure by managing multiple accounting information at a low cost. Although many benefits exist, Indonesian MSMEs are not adopting these platforms in their daily business activities. This study investigates the factors that influence Indonesian MSMEs' intention to adopt CA. The study is directed by unstructured in-depth interviews with seven bestseller MSMEs where a thematic analysis technique was employed to identify them. The interview findings and prevailing literature on the influencing factors based on the TOE (technological, organizational, and environmental) framework to adopt CA in Indonesian MSMEs context are perceived benefits outweighing the cost, perceived compatibility, perceived complexity, owner-manager knowledge on accounting, organization size, competitive pressure, and informal network. The conceptual model further includes government intervention as a moderator in the model.

Effects of Authentic Leadership and Leader-Member Exchange on Employee Psychological Ownership and Organizational Commitment

  • Purpose - Small- and medium-sized enterprises often rely on the owner's personal characteristics. This study aims to verify the impact of the awareness of such a business leader's sincerity and the sincerity of their leader-member exchange (LMX) on employee psychological ownership and organizational commitment. The findings offer clues to how small- and medium-sized company leaders should engage with employees. Research design, data, and methodology - A total of 289 valid questionnaires were examined using frequency, descriptive statistics, and correlation analyses and structured equation modeling. Results - Authentic leadership and LMX were both found to have a positive impact on each trust factor, each trust factor had a positive impact on psychological ownership and organizational commitment, and psychological ownership had a positive impact on organizational commitment. Conclusion - These results suggest that small- and medium-size company leaders should use self-awareness and self-regulation to encourage the recognition of their sincerity, and strive to achieve a positive relationship with employees. It also suggests that leaders should improve trust between employees and establish various strategies to enable employee psychological ownership.

중식당경영주들의 근무환경과 직무만족이 직업전환의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of the Working Environment on the Job Satisfaction and Transition as Perceived by Chinese Restaurant Owners)

  • 본 연구는 부산 경남지역에서 소규모 중식당을 경영하는 경영주 268명을 대상으로 통계프로그램 SPSS(18.0)와 AMOS(18.0)를 사용하여 이들의 근무환경이 직무만족과 직업전환의도와의 인과관계에 관한 연구를 진행하였다. 연구결과, 소규모 중식당 경영주들은 오너쉐프 130명(48.5%), 홀 서빙 63명(23.5%), 배달 75명(28.0%)를 나타내었다. 그리고 소규모 중식당 경영주들은 물리적 환경은 직업긍지와 경제적 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있으며, 영업스트레스는 직업긍지와 경제만족에 영향관계가 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 물리적 환경과 영업스트레스는 직업전환의도에 정(+)의 영향관계가 있으며, 직무만족(직업긍지, 경제적 만족)은 직업전환의도에 부(-)의 영향관계를 나타내었다. 이와 같은 결과는 소규모 중식당 경영주 들은 물리적 환경(주방시설과 홀시설)에서 보다 영업을 하면서 경험하게 되는 영업 스트레스가 직무만족을 약화시키고, 직업전환의도를 증가시키는 요인으로 작용하는 것으로 판단 된다. 따라서 소규모중식당 경영주들에게는 영업장 시설보다는 서비스교육과 같은 실질적인 영업 교육이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

전통풍수의 상징적 의미를 체용(體用)한 간판 배색 제안 - 사업주의 본명궁을 중심으로 - (Proposed Color Scheme with Feng Shui Significance - Focused on the Bonmyeonggung of business owners -)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a new direction for color schemes of city signages to provide psychological stability to business owners and improve business value. Types of city sign color schemes and Feng Shui awareness of business owners were examined. Color schemes for signs were proposed, reflecting city landscape colors, color perception theory, and the Feng Shui Sangsaeng Sanggeuk theory. Results of the study can be summarized as follows. First, in order to secure colorscape quality of existing city buildings, signs should be small and consist of only three or fewer colors. Second, existing signage colors and the Feng Shui ideas of business owners have something in common with the five traditional cardinal colors. Thus, it can be interpreted that Feng Shui ideas are deeply rooted in the color use awareness of the Korean people. Third, background colors of signages can reflect the idea of innate Sangsaeng according to the Bonmyeonggung of business owners. The concept of acquired Sanggeuk can also be applied to other design elements such as characters. Fourth, as a second choice according to the function of sign, city landscape or preference of business owner, etc., the background color can remain a color of Sangsaeng, while other design elements such as characters can use a color scheme corresponding to Bihwasaek. Fifth, signs can create a statement and stand out using lightness contrast or saturation contrast theories. A variety of sign color schemes are also possible just by altering the lightness and saturation levels.

국내 외식프랜차이즈의 창업을 위한 SWOT요인의 중요도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Weight of SWOT Factors for Korea Food Service Franchise Entrepreneur)

  • IMF 외환위기 이후 기업의 주기적인 구조조정과 최근 경기 불황의 지속에 따른 명예퇴직, 조기퇴직이 증가하고, 고용 없는 경제성장으로 기업의 신규채용이 증가하지 않는다. 본 연구는 이러한 창업시장이 확대되는 사회적, 경제적 환경과 프랜차이즈 산업의 장 단점 및 산업환경에 따른 기회와 위기에 주목하여 외식프랜차이즈를 중심으로 SWOT요인의 상대적 중요도와 우선순위를 제안하고자 한다. 연구방법으로는 SWOT요인들의 중요도를 분석하기 위해 AHP분석과 ANP분석을 실시하였으며 호환성에 문제가 없어 AHP 분석 결과를 활용하여 중요도 분석을 하였다. 분석결과 첫째, SWOT 분석에서 내부적 요인 중 강점요인을 약점요인보다 중요하게 생각하고 있으며 외부적 요인 중 기회요인을 위기요인보다 중요하게 생각하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 국내 외식프랜차이즈 사업이 갖는 약점요인과 위기요인이 있긴 하지만 이러한 부정적인 요인보다는 강점요인과 기회요이 갖는 긍정적인 점을 더 중요하게 판단하여 국내 외식프랜차이즈의 전체적인 성장 가능성을 높이 평가한 결과라 할 것이다. 둘째, 강점요인 중에서는 업체그룹은 검증된 비즈니스모델 사용으로 사업안정화(S3)가 가장 중요도가 높았으며 전문가그룹은 가맹본부의 표준화된 제품(서비스) 및 경영지원(S2)이 가장 중요도가 높았다. 셋째, 약점요인 중에는 가맹본부와의 불리한 지위에서 협상 및 해결(W3)과 계약기간 내 계약파기 어려움과 파기 시 막대한 손실발생(W4)의 중요도 합계가 60%에 이른다. 넷째, 기회요인 중에서는 라이프 스타일, 가치관, 소비의식 구조의 변화(O3)가 압도적으로 중요하게 나왔다. 다섯째, 위기요인 중에서는 소비시장이 다양화에 따른 고객의 욕구변화(T1)를 가장 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 다양하게 변할 소비자의 욕구를 어떻게 만족시킬 것인가가 국내 외식프랜차이즈의 위기를 극복하는 가장 중요한 요인임을 반증하고 있다 할 것이다.

The Moderating Role of Environmental Turbulence between Learning Orientation and SME Performance in the Manufacturing Sector of Pakistan

  • Purpose: This study attemptsto investigate the moderating effects of environmental turbulence (ET) between learning orientation (LO) and SMEs' performance. Research design, data, and Methodology: To gain insights and provide implications for manufacturing SMEs in Pakistan, this study adopted simple random sampling to collect 379 valid responses. Data were collected through a self-administrative questionnaire from manufacturing SMEs owners/managers. Partial least squares of structural equation modeling have been used to test research hypotheses by using SmartPLS® 3.0 software. Results: The study's primary finding is that LO has a significantly positive effect on SMEs' performance and this relationship is strengthened under the moderating influence of environmental turbulence (ET). Conclusion: Environmental turbulence (ET) enables SMEs to focus on learning capability to get a more competitive advantage. Moreover, SMEs owner/managers ought to emphasize continuous learning that accentuates the capability to compete with environmental changes. Findings support notifying Pakistan's Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA) in dealings with Manufacturing SMEs in terms of improving their internal capabilities. This research contributes to the literature as it provides a more detailed and in-depth explanation of distribution management-related issues faced by SMEs. This research carries a significant influence on literature and relevant Resource-based view and contingency theories.
