This thesis is for the study of hair style and consciousness concerning Korean awris hairs. Our nation had been originally considered to be a people without decorating their hairs. The adults however used a bundle of hair which was twirled, and the bachelors wore original hair befor wiman chosun in B.C. 194. Since then this twirled bundle of hair had been consistently used until the end of the chosun period from the Three-Kingdom period, except Mongolian hair style which was used for one hund-red years during the Won's oppression period at the time of Koryo. The bachelor's hair style not being adorned was developed into that of twirled bundle of hair which was used for on the Three-Kingdom period to the Koryo period, but this was also transformed into the current hair style ？ mainly to the decree of short-cut hair style in 1895 and the prevolent western clothes. The origin of meins hair style in Korea was a hair without decoration which was same as that of Ski-tie people in Western country, but our style was different from that of Manju and Mongolian people who have same kinship relationshup. And our nation was greatly influenced by the Chinese culture in view of the Twin-Knats style of the unmarried. Our people's consciousness uwderlying in hairs shows resped for seniors, standard between dults and adolescents, magics, and desine for ornaments.

The purpose of the research is to provide the basic information to broaden a population in marine sports and mark the beginning of the era of the marine sports with a yacht, water ski and a various of marine sports activities by researching the effect of sailing school participants' motive and satisfaction on continuous participation, preparing for the era of a 30,000~40,000 dollars per capita GDP in the near future. To achieve this purpose, through the research from December 2009 to April 2012, the following is concluded. First, in regard to psychological satisfaction and facility satisfaction, all subordinated factors of participating motive affect, health-oriented and social relations in the aspect of social satisfaction, and health-oriented, home entertainment and social relations in the aspect of self satisfaction. Second, sports capability affects health-oriented and pastime entertainment, sports habit and peer affect health-oriented, and sports environment affects home entertainment. Third, sports capability affects psychological satisfaction, sports habit affects psychological satisfaction and facility satisfaction, sports environment affects social satisfaction.

Heptaplatin, cis-malonato [(4R,5R)-4,5-bis (amino-methyl)-2-isopropyl-1,3-dioxolane] platinum(II) (SKI-2053R, Sunpla) is a new platinum derivative with antitumor activity comparable to cisplatin on various cancer cell lines. Preclinical studies suggest that it is less nephrotoxic than cisplatin. This study was undertaken to examine the combined effect of heptaplatin and ionizing radiation on two established human squamous carcinoma cell lines (NCI-H520, SQ20B). The cytotoxic activity of heptaplatin was concentration-dependent in both cell lines. When low dose heptaplatin was combined with high dose ionizing radiation, there was an additive cytotoxic effect on NCI-H520 cells (P < 0.05), while a moderate dose of heptaplatin and a low dose of ionizing radiation had an additive cytotoxic effect on the growth of SQ20B cells (P < 0.05). FACS analysis and DAPI staining showed that their additive cytotoxic effects were correlated with the induction of apoptosis. Further studies are warranted using heptaplatin and ionizing radiation in squamous cell carcinoma as a substitute for cisplatin.

This paper deals with system thinking in the resilience of the SES (Social-Ecological Systems) around Mt. Gariwang, located in Jeongseon County, Gangwon Province, in particular with the disturbance that a new ski slope is planned to be built for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic. It first performs a literature survey and newspaper article search to summarize the controversy with regards to credible environmental and socio-economical impacts of the plan, and then elaborates a series of CLDs (Causal Loop Diagrams) to infer the dynamics of the impacts. The results imply that the natural restoration seems to be hard because the development activities can cause a great deal of damage to the ecosystem mainly due to soil degradation and the mitigation of icy valley effects with water exploitation for making artificial snow and so on. Moreover most of the households near the planned site seem to leave with land compensation, thus more policy efforts are needed to enhance the resilience of the ecosystem and the nearby society based on ecotourism.

Nowadays, this Ayurveda is coming to be accommodated and executed partially in various fields, with the name 'an alterative medicine', not only in the medical treatment territory but also in the beauty care territory. In this way, under the basic rules of the harmony with nature, we have investigated several documents with a view to grasp Ayurveda's principles which are being applied to skin beauty care and to indicate the accurate grounds and directions. However, there were not many data which have been verified scientifically yet, so we had many difficulties researching it. From now, It is thought that we need much research about more objective data and clinical aspects. As the result of this research, according to Ayurveda, it is the principles of Ayurveda that we all are governed by three kinds of Dosha which are called Vata, Pitta, Kapha and when their balance is broken up. we get diseases physically or mentally. That is, we need the aquisition following each physical constitution, in order for this principle to approach to the field of skin beauty care. Futhermore, it is expected that we will be able to improve much more effects by managing so as to follow each own's physical constitution.

This research helps secure the safety of snow boarders in an activity that is currently recognized as a minor specific hobby. The research goal is to develop a new board wear product with intensified safety and activity through the development of a safe and convenient snowboard wear that is wearable in ordinary life. The participants consisted of 31 snowboard club members evaluated from January 12 to January 19 at Eden-valley Ski Resort and Phoenix-park Resort in Korea. The result are as follows. First, what domestic snowboard wear consumers consider design difference and brand recognition a significant priority in choosing snowboard wear versus the functionality or safety of clothes. Second, concerning the evaluation of the developed product, they recognize the necessity of safety gear; however, they demand the convenient use of a safety gear with a fixation that can be attached and detached. A unity-type board wear was developed that enables an attachment and detachment that reflects the evaluation results. In conclusion, this research showed various market possibility of board wear into sports casual wear to be able to make it a fashion product through different design and demand of mixing it with general wear rather than functionality or activity, though board wear is a professional sports wear.

With the rapid increase of tourists for sport participation, sporting resort is becoming popular and a related industry is improving. However, sporting resorts have been faced managerial challenges to survive in the competitive sport tourism markets. One of the key issues is to develop an effective marketing mix for resorts to be suitable for sporting tourists. Hence, the current study analyzed a marketing mix of sporting resort, identified its strategies for segmentation, targeting, and positioning, and finally suggested the effective methods for STP. For the study, PyeongChang Alpensia Resort is selected as a case. The study reviewed the documents and online journals that have covered Alpensia Resort. Via literature review, current marketing mix of Alpensia Resort was identified and its current strategies of STP further were analyzed. For the validity of the results, three experts reviewed the results. Given the decent procedures, firstly, the study suggested that Alpensia Resort needs to seek to develop products that can appeal to MICE industry. Second, Alpensia needs to build all-in-one image by providing products and accommodations including lodging, shopping, ski and related sport programs. Third, Alpensia can seek to enhance marketing mix for inbound sport tourists. Conclusions and implications are further discussed.

In this paper, an algorithm to reconstruct two orthogonal images into a three-dimensional image is developed in order to measure the bubble size and volume in a two-phase boiling flow. The central-active contour model originally proposed by P. $Szczypi\'{n}ski$ and P. Strumillo is modified to reduce the dependence on the initial reference point and to increase the contour stability. The modified model is then applied to the algorithm to extract the object boundary. This improved central contour model could be applied to obscure objects using a variable threshold value. The extracted boundaries from each image are merged into a three-dimensional image through the developed algorithm. It is shown that the object reconstructed using the developed algorithm is very similar or identical to the real object. Various values such as volume and surface area are calculated for the reconstructed images and the developed algorithm is qualitatively verified using real images from rubber clay experiments and quantitatively verified by simulation using imaginary images. Finally, the developed algorithm is applied to measure the size and volume of vapor bubbles condensing in a subcooled boiling flow.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to confirm that the cross-country ski sprint course in PyeongChang, where the 2018 Winter Olympics course was to utilize wearable devices equipped with inertial measurement unit (IMU), global positioning system (GPS) and heart rates sensor. Method: For the data collection, two national level cross-country (XC) skiers performed classic technique on the entire sprint course. We analyzed cycle characteristics, range of motion on double poling (DP) technique, average velocity, and displacement of 3 points according to the terrain. Results: The absolute cycle time gradually decreased during starting, middle and finish sections. While the length of the DP increased and the heart rates tended to increase for men skier. In addition, the results indicated that range of motion of knee joint during starting and finish section decreased more than middle section. The errors of latitude and longitude data collected through GPS were within 3 m from 3 points. Conclusion: Through the first case study in Korea, which analyzed the location and condition of XC skiers in the entire sprint course in real time, confirmed that feedback was available in the field using various wearable sensors.

Tricuspid regurgitation after blunt chest trauma is rarely seen in the emergency department. A 19-year-old patient visited our emergency department with chest discomfort after collision with his brother while skiing. Recently, Skiing as a winter sports has become popular with the Korean people, so there is an increasing tendency for patients with diverse traumas associated with ski accidents to visit the emergency department. From simple abrasions or contusions to deadly injuries with unstable vital signs, we are seeing many kind of injuries in the emergency department. We present the case report of a patient with tricuspid regurgitation after a blunt chest trauma during the skiing.
